UK Cities Roll Out More Diversity Barriers; Vehicle-Ramming Threat Now The Norm

A family summer beach event in the UK city of Nottingham now sits behind portable anti-ram steel barrier, the latest admission that open borders have turned public spaces into soft targets.

Local authorities across Britain are quietly installing more of what critics now call “diversity barriers” – heavy portable steel devices designed to stop vehicles being driven into crowds.

The annual artificial “Nottingham Beach” event opened this week behind a line of bright red Husson H-Stop units.

About 15 of the barriers now block the four main entrances. They tip upward on impact, changing a vehicle’s trajectory and generating enough friction to halt a three-and-a-half-tonne truck travelling at 30 mph.

Councillors and organisers insist the move is simply a precaution. The multi-agency safety group that approved them included counter-terrorism officers.

Councillor Neghat Khan, leader of Nottingham City Council, described them as an “additional safety measure” installed “following advice from the multi-agency events safety advisory group, which includes counter-terrorism colleagues.”

Event organiser James Mellors was more blunt: “I don’t think they look very pretty. But the Market Square is a very high footfall area. It’s not always about how things look, it’s about keeping people safe.”

A regular visitor, Amanda Hose Hawley, said she was “not surprised” and called the barriers “a sign of the climate we live in.”

The language is careful, the justification technical. Yet the reason these barriers exist is no mystery.

FBI Calls Incendiary Attack On Manhattan Federal Building An “Anti-Government Attack”

For years, left-wing political violence in the US was often treated as isolated and/or a non-issue. The Trump administration is now calling it a domestic terrorism threat.

FBI Assistant Director in Charge James Barnacle described the incident outside 26 Federal Plaza in Lower Manhattan earlier today as an “anti-government attack on a federal facility.” 

Watch the suspected left-wing radical attack the federal building, which houses offices for agencies including DHS, ICE, USCIS, the FBI, and the Social Security Administration.

Barnacle also said the suspect carried a sign reading “ICE Off Our Streets,” which suggests an association with left-wing groups.

DOJ seeks to invoke the Alien Terrorist Removal Court for first time since its creation

The Department of Justice (DOJ) has submitted an application to the Alien Terrorist Removal Court (ATRC) to initiate the never-before-used legal process to deport foreign nationals deemed to be terrorists.

The application was submitted on Thursday, July 16th, and its contents remained sealed. The document’s cover sheet indicates that the information inside is classified. The person the application intends to process has not been publicly identified.

The ATRC was established in 1996 by Congress, which authorized the Chief Justice of the United States to designate five U.S. district court judges to review applications for illegal immigrant terrorists to be quickly removed from the country. However, until this week, the court has not received an application from the Attorney General in 30 years and has not conducted deportation proceedings.

The Antiterrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act (AEDPA) was signed by former President Bill Clinton in 1996 in response to the 1995 Oklahoma City Bombing. At the time, American extremist Timothy McVeigh, aided by Terry Nichols, detonated a makeshift bomb in front of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

If an application is approved, the court will need to hold a public removal hearing where the government bears the burden of proving that the individual is an “alien terrorist.”

8 U.S. Code defines an alien terrorist as any non-citizen who has engaged or is reasonably likely to engage in any terrorist activity.

The Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) defines terrorist activity as any unlawful act including:

  • Hijacking or sabotaging an aircraft, vessel or vehicle;
  • Seizing, detaining, or threatening to kill or injure another person to compel a third person or government to an action;
  • Assassination;
  • A violent act upon an internationally protected person;
  • Using biological, chemical, or nuclear weapons with intent to harm;
  • Material support to a certified Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) or to any individuals the actor reasonably should know has committed or plans to commit terrorist acts.

The DOJ’s filing may indicate an escalation in President Donald Trump’s administration’s crackdown on illegal immigration.

Syria Arrests ‘ISIS-Linked’ Suspects in Damascus Bombings

Syrian officials said on Thursday that a preliminary investigation of the July 7 bombings in the capital city of Damascus — perpetrated during a visit by French President Emmanuel Macron — suggests that a terrorist cell linked to the Islamic State was responsible.

Police have taken an unspecified number of suspects belonging to the cell into custody.

Two explosions shook Damascus on Tuesday, just before Syria’s interim president Ahmed al-Sharaa met with Macron. One of the bombs was detonated near the Ministry of Tourism. The other was near the Four Seasons Hotel, where Macron was believed to be staying.

The Syrian Interior Ministry said on Tuesday that the bomb near the hotel was “outside the security zone designated for the French president’s residence,” and posed no “direct threat” to Macron or his entourage, especially since he had already departed for his meeting with Sharaa.

The bombs, described as “primitive” by police, detonated as explosives experts were attempting to disarm them. One person was killed and 36 injured by the bombings, most of them members of the security forces.

Brig. Gen. Ahmad al-Dalati, commander of Syria’s national police force, said on Thursday its investigation pointed to an ISIS-linked cell as the culprits.

Dalati said one member of the cell was positively identified by security camera footage, and that individual was “monitored” to learn the identities of the other members.

Interior Minister Annas Khattab announced on Thursday that several members of the cell had been arrested in raids across rural Damascus.

“The cell responsible for the terrorist bombings that targeted Damascus two days ago is now in our custody,” he said.

Khattab promised that more details about the suspects and their terrorist cell would be revealed after the investigation was complete.

The Interior Ministry statement said that raids were conducted in four neighborhoods “across Damascus and its countryside,” including two that are heavily populated with Alawites, the Shiite Muslim minority that claimed deposed dictator Bashar Assad as a member.

The Alawites are now resented by some other groups in Syria because they were privileged and favored by the dictatorship, and some accuse the Alawite community of harboring Assad loyalists and terrorists like ISIS.

Trump-Appointed Judge Orders ICE to Release Hamas-Linked Milwaukee Mosque President Salah Sarsour Despite Terror Convictions and Immigration Fraud Allegations

A federal judge on Thursday ordered the immediate release of Salah Sarsour, the president of Wisconsin’s largest mosque. Sarsour had been locked up by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents who flagged him as a serious foreign policy and national security threat.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, ICE arrested Salah Sarsour, president of the Islamic Society of Milwaukee (Wisconsin’s largest mosque) and board member of the pro-Palestinian group American Muslims for Palestine (AMP), on March 30.

DHS labeled him a terrorist. He was convicted by an Israeli military court of throwing a Molotov cocktail at Israeli forces and later attempting to possess weapons and ammunition. He allegedly lied on his U.S. immigration forms to secure a green card under President Bill Clinton.

Sarsour also raised funds for the Holy Land Foundation (HLF), the Hamas front group convicted of funneling over $12 million to terrorists. An FBI memo from 2001 listed him as a Hamas fundraiser in the U.S. through HLF. His brother Imad was similarly flagged.

Now a federal judge has set him free.

On Thursday, U.S. District Judge James Patrick Hanlon, nominated to the bench by President Trump in 2018, ordered ICE to immediately release Sarsour from the Indiana county jail where he was being held, according to CNN.

Hanlon ruled that Sarsour raised a “substantial” claim he was targeted for speaking out in favor of Palestinian rights. The judge said ICE and DHS failed to provide enough evidence to refute allegations of retaliation for protected speech or explain why Sarsour suddenly became a national security threat after more than three decades as a legal permanent resident.

“The mere invocation of foreign relations concerns does not automatically trump First Amendment rights,” Hanlon wrote in the decision, according to CNN.

Sarsour was released within hours. He returned to Milwaukee, where supporters greeted him as he headed back to the Islamic Society of Milwaukee.

FBI reveals details in new affidavit about alleged terror plot to attack UFC 250 event

he FBI released an affidavit Tuesday regarding a foiled alleged terror plot on Sunday’s Ultimate Fighting Championship 250 event at the White House, which perpetrators were allegedly planning to attack with explosive-laden drones and snipers.

At least five people have been arrested, and agents are working to identify as many as 18 others who appear to be involved in the planning on encrypted chats communicating with the alleged plotters, officials said.

The affidavit identified three of the five apprehended suspects, including 19-year-old Tycen Proper, who was arrested in Ohio and charged with attempted murder and several firearms violations after he allegedly admitted to helping plan the attack.

FBI task force officer Christopher Betts said in the court document that Proper’s mother reported her son’s unusual behavior to police in Ohio last week, highlighting his recent purchases of firearms and conversations with random people online.

Proper also allegedly made “concerning statements,” including “making sympathetic comments about Adolf Hitler and posting anti-Semitic comments on Facebook,” according to NBC News.

The suspect allegedly told investigators that his group was supposed to stage a protest on the north side of the White House, and while he was not planning to shoot anyone, people in his group were allegedly intent on violence. 

“While the demonstration was taking place, the group would fly small, unmanned aircraft (i.e. drones) laden with unspecified explosive devices which would detonate over the north side of the UFC arena,” the affidavit said. “When the unmanned aircraft detonated, the intent was to force the crowd attending the UFC event and high-value targets (HVTs) to evacuate to the south.”

Proper also claimed that the reason behind the planned attack was to allegedly jump-start a revolution because “members of the group believed that the United States needed to be torn down so that it could be rebuilt.”

Another suspect was arrested in Missouri and identified as 32-year-old Daniel Eskridge, who was charged with conspiracy to commit murder, in connection with a plan to attack the event.

Eskridge allegedly told members of the group in messages that he was preparing a “safe house” in Missouri and was building a “bunker” under the floorboards of his shed. He intended to attack members of Congress and the power grid.

“The messages included maps with pins to locate positions of attack, as well as planned routes of escape following the execution of the group’s plan,” the affidavit said. “Once the details were settled among other members of the group, Eskridge stated, ‘I’m liking it, now if we can keep it all coordinated it should work.’”

A third man was identified as Abraham Hermosillo Alvarez, who was also arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit murder and conspiracy to commit an offense against the United States.

Alvarez allegedly posted detailed location and logistical information related to the plan, including locations in the area for drone launch points and sniper positions.

Officials seized weapons and ammo from each of the suspects’ homes, along with tactical vests and a multi-cam gun belt with a medical kit from Eskridge’s home.

Palestinian Man Arrested on Suspicion of Planning Attacks in Greece

Police on the Greek island of Crete on Sunday arrested a 37-year-old Palestinian man on suspicion of planning “terrorist” attacks and belonging to the militant group Hamas.

Police said in a brief statement the man is also under investigation for traveling abroad to undergo training.

Searches in homes in both Crete and the Greek capital, Athens, turned up a number of mobile phones, a laptop, external hard drives and bank cards. The suspect will appear before a magistrate later Sunday.

Police said the man´s arrest is linked to the detention of four Palestinian men in Cyprus who are also being investigated on “terrorism-related” charges and “belonging to a criminal organization.”

Cypriot law enforcement authorities initially placed two Palestinians in custody on May 22 following what they said was the evaluation of gathered intelligence.

Authorities said they discovered in two residences used by one of the men suspected material that could be used in the manufacture of explosives.

Cypriot police detained another two Palestinian men on May 29 as part of the same investigation.

Three Arrested in Kansas and California for Providing Support to ISIS – Suspects Expressed Desire to “Behead” Female Soldiers, “Kill 300,000,000 Americans”

Three US citizens, including two in California and one in Kansas, have been arrested and charged with conspiring to provide material support to the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS). 

The suspects, Bisaam Ghafoor, 21, of Leawood, Kansas; Elias Shamsaldeen, 21, of Porterville, California; and Bereen Dzayee, 25, of Lakeside, California, are accused of “conspiring to provide material support to terrorism after collectively providing over $2,000 to an individual they understood to be a member of ISIS,” according to the DOJ.

Text messages from the suspects, included their vile wishes for US troops to be murdered in drone strikes, the beheading of a female soldier, and the mass murder of American citizens.

According to the DOJ, “In various messaging exchanges, Ghafoor exclaimed it would be ‘sick’ if his name could be written on the drone used in an attack on Americans. Dzayee suggested that targets of drones should include U.S. Special Forces. In other exchanges, Shamsaldeen expressed a desire to stab and injure a U.S. servicemember. Ghafoor said he has always wanted to kill a female soldier by beheading, and added, ‘I wish I could kill 300,000,000 Americans.’”

Federal officials say the men communicated through Discord chats, voice calls, and other messaging platforms. In addition to providing over $2000 to support ISIS, they also explored using a cryptocurrency scheme to fund the purchase of weapons for ISIS.

How Western Intelligence Agencies Built the Global Jihadist Network

Americans have been fed a comforting fairy tale about Islamic terrorism. Radical jihadists attack the West simply because they despise freedom, democracy, and the American way of life. This narrative flatters domestic audiences while conveniently obscuring a far more troubling reality. For decades, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Israel have armed, financed, tolerated, and tapped into Sunni Islamist extremists as geopolitical tools to destabilize rivals. The evidence spans multiple theaters and rests on declassified documents, congressional investigations, and credible investigative journalism.

The most thoroughly documented case is Operation Cyclone, the CIA program to arm and finance the Afghan mujahideen from 1979 to 1992. In a 1998 interview with Le Nouvel Observateur, former National Security Adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski confirmed that the CIA began aiding mujahideen opponents of the pro-Soviet Kabul government six months before the Soviet invasion—a calculated provocation intended to draw Moscow into an unwinnable war. When asked if he regretted supporting Islamic fundamentalism that gave “arms and advice to future terrorists,” Brzezinski replied:

“What is more important in world history? The Taliban or the collapse of the Soviet empire? Some agitated Moslems or the liberation of Central Europe and the end of the cold war?”

Multiple intelligence agencies participated in this operation. MI6 ran covert operations supporting hardline commanders. Pakistan’s ISI served as the critical financial and logistical conduit—operating under the direction of Pakistani President Zia ul-Haq, who controlled ISI policy throughout the war. Saudi Arabia agreed to match CIA contributions dollar for dollar, a commitment secured when Brzezinski visited Riyadh in February 1980 and one that CIA officer Gust Avrakotos and congressman Charlie Wilson (D-TX) would fly to Riyadh to enforce whenever Saudi payments fell behind. Historian Steve Coll documented in Ghost Wars that Osama bin Laden informally cooperated with ISI-run guerrilla training camps on behalf of newly arrived Arab jihadists, with intimate connections to CIA-backed commander Jalaluddin Haqqani. The global jihadist network that became al-Qaeda grew directly from this infrastructure.

The Afghan theater was not an isolated experiment but the opening chapter of a longer story. The same networks it created spread rapidly to the next front. The Chechen insurgency of the 1990s was joined by Arab and Central Asian jihadists who had cut their teeth in Afghanistan. The most prominent was Ibn Khattab, a Saudi-born mujahideen veteran born in 1969 inʿAr’ar, Saudi Arabia, who left for the Afghan jihad at age 18 before entering Chechnya in 1995. Saudi-backed organizations funneled funds, and Gulf state charities developed during the Afghan jihad maintained, in some cases wittingly and in others not, support for al-Qaeda-affiliated groups throughout the decade. Several of the future 9/11 conspirators—including Mohamed Atta, Marwan al-Shehhi, Ziad Jarrah, and Ramzi bin al-Shibh—originally sought to travel to Chechnya in 1999 before being redirected to al-Qaeda’s Afghan camps, per the 9/11 Commission.

Iran-Linked Terror Plot in Europe: Migrant Spy Ring Accused of Targeting Jewish Leaders in Germany

Federal prosecutors in Germany, according to various reports, have charged two men accused of participating in an Iran-linked plot to carry out violent attacks against Jewish leaders, in what officials describe as a chilling escalation of foreign-backed threats on European soil.

The case, naturally, has reignited urgent concerns across the continent about rising anti-Jewish violence, foreign intelligence operations, and the growing vulnerability of Europe’s Jewish communities.

According to prosecutors, a Danish national identified as Ali S. and an Afghan national, Tawab M., are accused of helping to prepare attacks targeting prominent Jewish figures in Germany. Both men face charges related to attempted murder.

Ali S. is also charged with acting as an agent for a foreign intelligence service. Authorities allege he was working on behalf of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards.
Investigators say he maintained close ties with the elite Quds Force, a unit known for conducting operations abroad. The allegations point to a coordinated effort reaching far beyond Germany’s borders.

Prosecutors state that in early 2025, Ali S. was tasked with gathering intelligence on high-profile targets. Among them were Josef Schuster, president of the Central Council of Jews in Germany, and Volker Beck, head of the German-Israeli Society.

Additional targets reportedly included Jewish businesses in Berlin. Investigators say the intent was to map out potential sites for attacks.
