Portland IED bomber suspect revealed to be far-left ‘No Kings Day’ recruiter

A Portland Antifa activist and “No Kings Day” recruiter has been arrested on felony charges in Portland after allegedly carrying out an attempted bombing attack on the freeway.

Alexander Robert Wick, 38, of Portland, was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on felony charges including first-degree attempted arson, unlawful manufacture of a destructive device, possession of a destructive device, and first-degree criminal mischief. He also faces two additional misdemeanor charges of menacing and second-degree disorderly conduct, according to jail records.

On June 14, Wick allegedly began throwing traffic cones and boards with protruding nails into the lanes of traffic on Interstate 5 at the Northeast Failing Street pedestrian bridge around 7 p.m. The attack happened after the “No Kings” event, a nationwide anti-Trump protest organized by Democrats, largely concluded. When drivers came to a stop, Wick allegedly slashed the tires of their vehicles and threatened them with a screwdriver, claiming that he had a bomb, according to a police press release.

Anti-ICE Activists in Colorado Help Criminal Alien and Child Rapist Escape Arrest

Anti-ICE activists in Denver, Colorado, helped a child rapist illegally residing in the US escape arrest on Friday morning.

Colorado Rapid Response tipped off the criminal alien and child rapist identified as Jose Reyes Leon-Deras and boasted about helping him evade arrest.

“ICE has left the neighborhood. No one was detained,” Colorado Rapid Response said after they stalked ICE agents surveilling Jose Reyes Leon-Deras near Longs Peak Venue and Martin St. Longmont.

“This morning ICE & @FBIDenver were attempting to arrest Jose Reyes Leon-Deras, a criminal alien from El Salvador who is convicted of and wanted for child rape in Italy. During our surveillance of Leon, members of Colorado Rapid Response arrived on scene and alerted him to law enforcements presence which allowed him to escape arrest,” Denver ICE said on Friday.

ICE asked tipsters for help capturing Jose Reyes Leon-Deras.

“Groups like this interfere with ICE’s ability to keep communities safe. If you know his whereabouts, do not approach, if seen, instead report all info to ICE at 1-866-347-2423,” ICE Denver said.

Leftist Protesters Attempting “Global March To Gaza” Get Beaten And Arrested In Egypt

There is perhaps no group more tiresome and naive than western progressives; constantly seeking to socially engineer not just their own nations, but nations on the other side of the world.  If they can’t do it through the monetary manipulation of subversive bureaucratic institutions like USAID, then they will try to do it directly with protests, marches and mobs.  The problem is, no one likes them and no one wants them around.  The tolerance they enjoy in Europe and the US does not exist in other countries and they don’t seem to get it.

Just as leftists ignorantly demand multiculturalism without understanding the inevitable and violent consequences of inviting the third world into the west, they also tend to invite themselves overseas into the backyards of civilizations that despise everything the political left supposedly stands for.

Thousands of activists, primarily from western countries, have descended on Egypt this week for a “Global March to Gaza,” a movement aiming to break the Israeli blockade that they argue has pushed the region to the brink of famine.  Some 4,000 volunteers from over 80 countries joined the protest, according to organizers.  This number is unconfirmed and footage of arriving protesters shows much smaller groups.

They planned to land in Cairo, take buses to the city of Arish in northern Sinai, and then march around 30 miles through the desert peninsula to the Egyptian side of the Gaza border at Rafah. Organizers said the activists would sleep in tents along the route and expected to arrive at the border on Friday.

The idea was clearly ill conceived from the beginning, with protesters believing they have the ability to march 30 miles across the Egyptian desert towards a war zone without interference, but the group never actually made it beyond Cairo.  Egyptian authorities detained at least 200 pro-Palestinian activists in Cairo on Thursday (with more reportedly being held).  Among the detainees were people from Australia, France, Morocco, the Netherlands, Spain and the United States.

Footage shows activists being beaten by an angry mob of Egyptians (possibly security forces) after they attempted a sit down protest and locked arms.

FBI Arrests Driver Who Went Viral for Delivering “Bionic Shield” Face Masks to LA Rioters in Early Morning Sting

The FBI arrested the man who went viral last week for distributing what appeared to be military-grade “bionic shield” face masks to violent demonstrators in downtown Los Angeles.

“ARRESTED: Alejandro Theodoro Orellana was arrested this morning by FBI Los Angeles on an allegation of Conspiracy to Commit Civil Disorders (18 USC 371) for distributing face shields to suspected rioters on Tuesday. We are moving quickly to identify and arrest those involved in organizing and/or supporting civil disorder in Los Angeles,” U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California Bill Essayli said in a statement.

The suspect has been identified as Alejandro Orellana, an alleged member of the Brown Berets, a radical Chicano nationalist paramilitary organization with ties to far-left revolutionary groups.

The group, long known for its anti-police rhetoric and militant activism, has reportedly embedded operatives in several major U.S. cities.

On June 9, local reporter Elex Michaelson of FOX LA captured the moment protesters swarmed the trucks to grab the gear, noting, “It certainly seems like gear you’d wear if you’re preparing for conflict with police. Who is funding this?”

Greta Thunberg Seeks Spotlight In Gaza After Abandoning Climate Crusade

What does an autistic 22-year-old living most of her life in 1st world decadence with her rich celebrity parents know about climate science?  Or the complexities of the conflict between the Israelis and Palestinians?  Not a damn thing, really, which is why it’s confounding that such a person seems to continually garner a steady spotlight from the establishment media when it comes to environmental and geopolitical causes.

How did Greta Thunberg become the poster child for global progressive activism when she is provably ignorant on every conceivable level?  Is it simply a matter of being in the right place at the right time?  Or, did someone call in a major favor?  Thunberg is, at the very least, no stranger to opportunism and self promotion.

She has dealt with a series of embarrassing failures on the climate change front, including being forced to erase a 2018 Twitter post in which she predicted climate catastrophe by 2023.  Her theatrical arrests at protest events across Europe have done little to attract the kind of media frenzy she obviously craves, and so, it would appear that global warming is no longer a crusade she feels compelled to undertake.  There’s no more clout to be chased.

Instead, Greta has identified the ripest progressive bandwagon of the day and jumped aboard – Namely the war in Gaza.

Wrapped in a Palestinian keffiyeh and pontificating about “genocide”, the career activist has traveled with a protest group on an aid ship to Gaza.  The sailing boat Madleen, operated by Freedom Flotilla Coalition, departed from the Sicilian port of Catania in southern Italy.  It will try to reach the shores of the Gaza Strip in an effort to bring in some aid and raise “international awareness” over the ongoing humanitarian crisis, the activists said at a press conference on Sunday.

One can argue the finer points of how the war in Gaza is being handled (by Hamas or by Israel), but few people want to hear about this debate from Greta Thunberg.

In mid-May, Israel eased its blockade of Gaza after nearly three months, allowing a limited amount of humanitarian aid into the territory.  Though Thunberg’s group claims their goal is to “break the blockade” it’s unlikely that she would be attempting this kind of promotional stunt if conditions had not already loosened.

The political left’s obsession with the Gaza war is strange considering the majority of Palestinians are fundamentalists that violently oppose nearly every progressive ideal from women’s rights to gay pride.  However, the situation is much like the George Floyd incident in that it provides a dramatic backdrop, a tool for absorbing certain groups into the leftist fold to be used as fodder for the deconstruction of the west.

Climate extremists make our kids despair — and groom them to join the left’s crusades

Extreme privilege and fame have never been a recipe for emotional stability, but today’s Hollywood offspring seem especially unequipped to face reality.

Case in point: Ramona Sarsgaard, the 18-year-old daughter of actors Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard, who was arrested this month for criminal trespass during a pro-Palestinian protest at Columbia University’s Butler Library.

This wasn’t her first foray into activism. Sarsgaard has been a committed climate crusader since childhood.

At just 13, she gave a speech at Amnesty International’s Ambassador of Conscience award ceremony in honor of Greta Thunberg.

Like Thunberg, Ramona has built her identity around the belief that climate catastrophe is not only inevitable but imminent.

Sarsgaard marched in the Youth Climate Strike in New York and, according to her mother, is among the many children who “aren’t able to push out of their minds the dire situation that we’re in.”

She’s not alone: An entire generation has been raised to believe they are living through the end of the world — and their mental health reflects it.

Just this week Violet Affleck, 19, daughter of Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, published an essay in Yale University’s “Global Health Review” describing a heated conflict with her mother earlier this year.

“I spent the January fires in Los Angeles arguing with my mother in a hotel room,” she wrote — in fights triggered by Garner’s shock at the devastation.

“As a lifelong Angelena and climate-literate member of Generation Z,” Violet explained, “my question had not been whether the Palisades would burn but when.”

She went on to call climate change an “existential and accelerating” crisis.

It’s clear she wasn’t just debating a hot topic with her mother — she was evangelizing a worldview that sees environmental collapse as a given.

If that mindset sounds extreme, that’s because it’s being carefully cultivated.

Affleck’s worldview was deliberately drilled into her by climate activists, who have groomed an entire generation to join their crusade.

At institutions like Yale, climate anxiety is treated as a developmental inevitability.

An advice column in a Yale newsletter a few years ago instructed parents and caregivers to lead even the youngest children through therapeutic climate exercises, like imagining their favorite animal being impacted by climate change and speaking from its perspective.

Just imagine launching that conversation with your 4-year-old: “Think of Peter Rabbit. Now imagine Peter has run out of food and dies because he’s too thirsty, has no grass to eat, and no shade to take refuge in as temperatures soar.”

You couldn’t come up with a more traumatic lesson for a young child to engage in if you tried —yet the “experts” at Yale recommend it as a therapeutic template to explain to children that the world is ending.

Russia outlaws Amnesty International in latest crackdown on dissent and activists

The Russian authorities on Monday outlawed Amnesty International as an “undesirable organization,” a label that under a 2015 law makes involvement with such organizations a criminal offense.

The decision by the Russian Prosecutor General’s office, announced in an online statement, is the latest in the unrelenting crackdown on Kremlin critics, journalists and activists that intensified to unprecedented levels after Moscow invaded Ukraine in February 2022.

The designation means the international human rights group must stop any work in Russia, and it subjects those who cooperate with it or support it to prosecution, including if anyone shares Amnesty International’s reports on social media.

Agnès Callamard, Amnesty International’s secretary general, said the move was part of the Russian government’s efforts to silence dissent and isolate civil society. “The authorities are deeply mistaken if they believe that by labeling our organization ‘undesirable,’ we will stop our work documenting and exposing human rights violations – quite the opposite,” she said in a statement. “We will not give in to the threats and will continue undeterred to work to ensure that people in Russia are able to enjoy their human rights without discrimination.”

One dead after bomb explodes outside reproductive center in Downtown Palm Springs, police say it appears to be an “intentional act of violence”

One person is confirmed dead after an explosion rocked the American Reproductive Centers building on North Indian Canyon Drive near East Tachevah Drive just before 11 a.m. this morning. Regional news outlets have reported several injuries, but so far that has not been confirmed.

Lt. William Hutchinson with the Palm Springs Police Department confirms it was a bomb in or near a vehicle parked at the building.

Palm Springs Police Chief Andy Mills said in a statement, “The blast appears to be an intentional act of violence and the blast field extends for blocks with several buildings damaged-some severely. Mills confirmed the FBI is on scene.

“We’ve got a vehicle that appears to have exploded,” a Palm Springs Police Department official said moments ago. “It appears that we have a deceased person. … (E)verything’s in question whether this is an act of terrorism, or what it is.”

About two hours after the explosion, authorities expanded the safety zone, blocking off more parts of the street using SunLine Transit buses.

Matt Spencer, a resident who lives nearby at Sunset Palms apartment complex, ran outside with his dog Tippy as soon as he heard the explosion and reports he saw human remains and what was left of a car outside the building.

Spencer said he saw what looked like human remains in the middle of the road.

“In front of the building [the car] was blown clear across four lanes into the parking lot of [Desert Regional Medical Center],” Spencer said. “I could see the back of the car still on fire and the rims, that was the only thing that distinguishes it as a car.”

He also saw parts of the frame of a car and its suspension, and that it looked “completely disintegrated.”

“We Don’t Need Lessons in Democracy”: New German Chancellor Friedrich Merz SLAMS JD Vance – As German Government ARRESTS 6 Right-Wing Activists and Prevents their Travel

The new German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has again slammed the Trump administration for “interference” in German democracy on the same day 6 right-wing German activists were arrested for wrong-think and prevented from traveling to a conference in Milano, Italy.

Speaking to leftist newspaper “Die Zeit“, Merz criticized Vice-President JD Vance’s courageous pro-freedom speech at the Munich Security Conference and recent posts from Vance and SecState Marco Rubio accusing Germany of “tyranny in disguise” for using the secret political police against the largest opposition party, the AfD.

“Of course, we are not heading toward “tyranny,” as we hear from the USA”, Merz said. “Such statements must be firmly rejected. Germany was liberated from tyranny by the USA, and today Germany is stable, liberal, and democratic. We don’t need any lessons in democracy (from the USA). That’s why JD Vance’s speech at the Munich Security Conference was perceived by many, including myself, as interference.”

On May 9, the parting Interior Minister Nancy Faeser (Social Democrats) had used a trumped-up “dossier” containing no evidence of illegal activity to slander the lagrest opposition party in Germany, the Alternative for Germany (AfD) as “confirmed far-right”, leading the push to ban the party, fire its members from governent jobs and deny it basic parliamentary rights.

10 million Germans voted for the AfD in February. Under pressure from an AfD lawsuit and US Senate Intelligence Committee chair Sen. Tom Cotton, the German secret police had to retract the label and remove the press release from its website.

On the same day Merz claimed not to need “any lessons in democracy” from the Trump administration, 6 right-wing activists belonging to the Generation Identity movement were apprehended by German police at Munich airport and taken into custody to prevent them from traveling to a “Remigration Summit” in Milano, Italy taking place on Saturday. Two of the activists were even taken off a plane they had already boarded, indicating the orders came urgently at the request of the “Conservative” Christian Democrat government in the State of Bavaria.

Chris Hansen Busts BLM Activist in Child Sex Sting

Cameras were rolling when veteran predator poacher Chris Hansen and his team busted a Black Lives Matter activist who was allegedly attempting to procure a child for sex.

Joining Fox News’ Jesse Watters, the “To Catch a Predator” star commented on his recent capture of Aston Mack, 35, a Florida activist who participated in and led several George Floyd protests in 2020.

Footage shows sheriff’s deputies raiding Mack’s residence and tackling him after he fled on foot.

“Can you grab my shoe?” the activist asked as he was hauled away, with officers denying his request.

“35-year-old Aston Mack, BLM activist, worked with challenged children in Orlando, claimed to me that he had the sex trafficking hotline number on his phone in his pocket and was just gonna help this girl out,” Hansen explained to Watters.

“But the texts tell a very different story,” Hansen added.
