DNC Chair Calls For Government Shutdown to Fight the ‘Fascist in the White House’

During a Tuesday broadcast of MSNBC’s The Weeknight, Democratic National Committee Chair Ken Martin said Democrats should be prepared to shut down the federal government in response to the deployment of National Guard troops in Washington, D.C., and the Justice Department’s actions under President Donald Trump.

Martin’s remarks came during an interview with co-host Laura Barrón-López, who asked whether Democrats should consider a shutdown if Trump continues to use federal agencies in ways they oppose.

Barrón-López asked, “Do you think that Democrats should shut the government down if the president continues to use the Justice Department to go after his enemies, or if he keeps National Guard troops in the streets?”

Martin answered, “Yes, you have a fascist in the White House, and that requires us — we cannot be the only one playing by the rules with a hand tied behind our backs. That old playbook, the norms that used to have guardrails on our democracy and protect all of us in this country, that doesn’t exist anymore. We’ve got to throw that playbook out the window because the Republicans have.”

He continued, “We cannot be the only party that’s playing by the rules anymore. That’s why I said this isn’t your grandfather’s Democratic Party, where you bring a pencil to a knife fight. We are bringing a bazooka to a knife fight. Donald Trump wanted a showdown. The Republicans want a showdown. We’re going to give it to them.”

Martin acknowledged that Democrats currently lack control of Congress but argued that their influence remains significant through other means.

“And guess what? We don’t have power in the Congress, that’s for sure. But we have the power of our voices. We have the power of our platforms to move public sentiment. And the public sentiment is moving our way. Yes, it’s slow. Yes, people still want to see more fight. I’m not going to ignore that,” Martin said.

NOW IT CAN BE TOLD: Report Claims ‘Drowsy’ Joe Biden Had to be ‘Prodded’ Into Answering Questions in 2023 Interview on 60 Minutes

CBS has settled the lawsuit brought by President Trump over the creative editing they did with their Kamala Harris interview during the 2024 election. It’s widely believed that the network settled because they did not want Trump’s lawyers to be able to start digging through their internal documents and communications.

During this period of discovery, Trump’s lawyers may have found something even worse and the media couldn’t have that.

One thing that did come out of the lawsuit however, is a claim that when 60 Minutes interviewed President Biden in 2023, he was supposedly drowsy and had to be ‘prodded’ into giving answers. He really is Sleepy Joe. Did Trump call it or what?

From the Washington Free Beacon:

Scott Pelley of 60 Minutes interviewed Biden in October 2023, around the same time as the former president’s sit-down with Special Counsel Robert Hur, who later described Biden as a “sympathetic, well-meaning old man with a poor memory.”

Pelley described Biden differently. He attributed any physical or mental problems Biden exhibited during the interview to “a rough week.”

“Biden will be 81 next month,” Pelley said, “and he has said that when he’s tired his lifelong stutter can creep back in, but he wedged us into his schedule to express his commitment to Israel after the massacre of more than a thousand civilians eight days ago.” Redstone told the Times that CBS staffers privately described Biden as “drowsy” during the interview and noted that he “had to be prodded to answer.”

What this confirms is that the media knew what everyone knew about Joe Biden. That his mental capacity was diminished. Yet they all lied and covered it up in an effort to prevent Trump from being reelected. We all knew this but it’s good to get confirmation.

U. Wisconsin med school admits black students at 6 times rate of Asians

The University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health accepts black applicants at a rate six times higher than it does Asian applicants, despite lower average Medical College Admissions Test scores, a medical advocacy group recently reported.

However, the public university denied that it accepts applicants based on their race when contacted by The College Fix.

The report “Skirting SCOTUS Part III: How Medical Schools Continue to Practice Racially Conscious Admissions” by Do No Harm analyzed 2024 admissions data from 23 medical schools, including the University of Wisconsin’s.

At the Wisconsin medical school, it found that “a black applicant has nearly 10 times the odds of admission compared to an Asian or white applicant with the same MCAT score and GPA.”

Admitted black applicants averaged MCAT scores in the 62nd percentile, while white and Asian admits averaged scores in the 86th percentile, according to the report.

A page on the medical school’s website states that “diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are top priorities,” and that it aims to build programs that “reflect” the communities it serves. Its admissions page also highlights that 28 percent of the students who are admitted are “underrepresented in medicine.”

However, UW spokesperson John Lucas told The Fix that the medical school does not discriminate on the basis of an applicant’s race.

“The admission process reviews every aspect of an application with the strength of academic preparation key to determining an applicant’s likelihood of success. No student is admitted on the basis of their race/ethnicity/identity,” Lucas said in a recent email.

“Students are admitted on the basis of their likelihood to succeed throughout the rigorous course of study” in the medical school’s programs, Lucas said.

He also told The Fix that the medical school “educates and trains competent and skilled physicians who are well-equipped to practice medicine and care for their patients.”

Meanwhile, Ian Kingsbury, director of research and co-author of the report, told The College Fix that the admissions analysis was based on data from public records requests to allopathic medical schools in the U.S. Do No Harm works to keep identity politics out of medical education and practice.

The group requested data on student acceptance rates, race, MCAT scores, and GPAs to “observe whether candidates receive preferential treatment based on their race,” Kingsbury said.

“Students with stronger academic credentials (i.e. GPA and MCAT scores) tend to perform better through the medical school pathway (i.e. medical school and residency). Deprioritizing objective measures of merit in service of racial goals is extremely foolish,” he told The Fix in a recent statement via email.

Do No Harm’s report, published in July, is the third part in a series of investigations into racial discrimination at U.S. medical schools.

Report: Illegal Trucker Behind Fatal U-Turn Failed English Language Test

The semi-truck driver, who allegedly killed three Americans while making an illegal U-turn in Florida, failed an English language proficiency test and also failed to accurately identify highway traffic signs.

In a press release from the Department of Transportation (DOT), it was revealed that officials with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) had launched an investigation into the deadly crash in Florida, which left three people dead.

During an interview with the driver, who has been identified as Harjinder Singh, investigators administered an English Language Proficiency (ELP) assessment. Singh failed the assessment and only provided “correct responses to just 2 of 12 verbal questions,” and he only accurately identified “1 of 4 highway traffic signs,” according to the press release.

“If states had followed the rules, this driver would never have been behind the wheel and three precious lives would still be with us,” Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said in a statement. “This crash was a preventable tragedy directly caused by reckless decisions and compounded by despicable failures. Non-enforcement and radical immigration policies have turned the trucking industry into a lawless frontier, resulting in unqualified foreign drivers improperly acquiring licenses to operate 40-ton vehicles.”

The press release also revealed that on July 15, 2023, Washington State “issued” Singh a “regular full-term Commercial Driver’s License (CDL),” and that on July 23, 2024, the driver was issued a “limited-term/non-domiciled CDL” in California.

AfD Candidate Excluded from German Mayoral Election with Court Upholding Decision

In Germany, the Alternative for Germany (AfD) faced a setback when one of its candidates was excluded from a local mayoral race.

Joachim Paul, an AfD state parliament member, was barred from running for mayor in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, a city of about 170,000 residents, due to concerns raised by opponents about his adherence to Germany’s constitutional principles.

An administrative court recently upheld this decision, limiting Paul’s options to a post-election challenge.

On August 5, 2025, Ludwigshafen’s election committee voted 6-1 to exclude Paul, citing doubts over his loyalty to the free democratic order outlined in Germany’s Basic Law.

The committee, composed of representatives from globalist center-left and center-right parties like the Social Democrats (SPD), Christian Democrats (CDU), and Free Democrats (FDP), but excluding the AfD, based its ruling on an 11-page report from the state’s interior ministry.

This report, requested by current mayor Jutta Steinruck, detailed Paul’s alleged connections to right-wing figures and statements deemed problematic.

The Neustadt an der Weinstraße administrative court dismissed Paul’s urgent appeal on August 18, 2025, ruling it inadmissible and stating that electoral stability takes precedence, with reviews only possible after the September 21 vote.

The judges found no clear error in the committee’s decision and noted that a full probe into the claims would be too time-consuming before the election.

They referenced Paul’s inclusion in the 2024 Rhineland-Palatinate constitutional protection report and a prior court confirmation of the AfD as a suspected extremist group.

Allegations included Paul’s 2022 article praising J.R.R. Tolkien’s “The Lord of the Rings” for conservative themes like defending homeland and culture, which authorities viewed as promoting ethnic nationalism.

Other points involved his use of “remigration” for non-integrated migrants, a meeting with Austrian activist Martin Sellner, and descriptions of violence as linked to “young, male, oriental” individuals.

Paul’s office in Koblenz was described as a hub for right-wing events, including those with “New Right” affiliations.

Paul, a 55-year-old former teacher and AfD member since 2013, rejected the accusations, claiming they stem from political bias and that non-left views are unfairly labeled extremist.

He suggested the exclusion was premeditated to sideline the AfD, which polled strongly in Ludwigshafen during recent federal elections. In interviews, Paul vowed to continue fighting legally and encouraged supporters to rally.

Update on the Whitmer FBI Scam…

In October 2020, just weeks before the U.S. presidential election, headlines exploded with the claim that a group of Trump supporting conservative men had been arrested for plotting to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. The timing was a little too perfect.

Revolver has covered the Whitmer fednapping plot in great detail.

In an exclusive interview with Revolver, documentary filmmaker Christina Urso recaps out how the case unfolded, how the FBI ran the operation from start to finish, and how the justice system turned a blind eye to serious constitutional violations.

The First Red Flag

“I first heard about the case in October 2020,” Christina recalls. “Whitmer came out smirking — not the reaction of someone just informed of a violent plot against her. It felt off, especially with Michigan being a swing state right before the election.”

It reminded her of PATCON, a past FBI operation targeting right-wing groups. “It felt like the same playbook — FBI-engineered entrapment dressed up as domestic terror prevention.”

Entrapment or Full Fabrication?

The FBI deployed at least 12 informants, 2 undercover agents, and multiple online covert employees to create fake militia groups on platforms like Facebook.

“They paid informants, created training events, and even gave these working-class men drugs and alcohol — then used their intoxicated words as evidence,” Christina explains.

None of the 14 men had committed violence. Most had no criminal history and were represented by underpaid or negligent public defenders. Only two out of the 14 could afford private counsel.

Legal Railroading and Sabotaged Appeals

The first federal trial resulted in two acquittals and two mistrials. But the retrial was plagued by procedural irregularities:

  • Time limits were imposed on the defense — but not the prosecution
  • A juror accused of misconduct was made foreman
  • Both Adam Fox and Barry Croft were convicted and sent to Florence ADX Supermax Prison, despite having no prior records

Fox’s court-appointed attorney, Stephen Nolder, submitted a weak 75-page appeal brief lacking exhibits, omitted one of the charges, and failed to consult his client. As a result, Fox missed his Supreme Court filing deadline and now has no legal representation.

In contrast, Croft’s lawyer, Tim Sweeney, submitted a 300-page brief with 150 pages of exhibits and worked closely with Croft.

Want proof USAID was meddling in right-wing foreign elections? Well, here you go…

For decades, USAID has sold itself as a “humanitarian” agency handing out aid to struggling nations. But that wasn’t the case. As soon as folks started digging, an entirely different story was uncovered. As it turns out, USAID has quietly served as a front for left-wing political experiments, funneling US taxpayer money into projects that prop up globalist and crush populist movements all over the world.

Mike Benz, executive director of the Foundation for Freedom Online, has been digging into the Brazil story, and what he’s found is damning. The trail of breadcrumbs shows USAID’s fingerprints all over Brazil’s censorship regime, which looks a heck of a lot like the same lawfare and censorship tactics that were unleashed against President Trump and his supporters.

Earlier this month, Mr. Benz testified before the Brazilian Congress on how USAID helped build the censorship state in Brazil. The only recording was in Portuguese, but he’s promised to prepare an English version for Americans to see and hear.

This matters because Brazil has become a literal playground for left-wing censorship. The regime there has been using North Korea-style tactics against their own people. They’ve banned populists from running for office, censored political speech online, and persecuted dissidents.

And it all centers around one corrupt judge: Brazilian Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes.

Joe Biden Paid $89 Million To Boost Electric Motorcycle Production. It’s Failing.

In 2024, President Joe Biden’s Energy Department awarded $1.7 billion in grants to increase domestic manufacturing of electric vehicles (E.V.s), including $89 million to Harley-Davidson to expand its manufacturing plant in Pennsylvania for electric motorcycle production. At the time, Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm claimed the funding would “ensure that our automotive industry stays competitive.” Then-Sen. Bob Casey (D–Pa.) championed the grant, with his office declaring that it would “help Harley Davidson make investments necessary to hit its goal of producing more zero-emission motorcycles.”

More than a year later, it appears that this funding plan is failing.

Despite the $89 million in government subsidies provided to LiveWire, which was initially launched as part of Harley-Davidson but has since spun off, the company has sold only 55 electric motorcycles in the second quarter of 2025, a 65 percent decline compared to the same quarter in 2024. In the second quarter of 2025, LiveWire’s electric motorcycle business yielded $800,000 in revenue. Overall, in the second quarter of 2025, the company generated $5.9 million in consolidated revenue from its electric motorcycles and electric bikes.

LiveWire has operated at a loss since its founding in 2021. After peaking at $46.83 million in 2022, annual revenue has declined for two consecutive years, dropping 43 percent from the company’s peak year in 2022. The company has never had a profitable quarter, a trend that is expected to continue through 2025.

While it’s projected sales of up to 3,000 electric motorcycles over the past two years, LiveWire has sold only 2,418 electric motorcycles since its inception in 2021. Last year, the company sold just 612 motorcycles, falling short of its 2023 sales of 660 machines and well below its initial 2024 projection of 1,000 to 1,500 bikes. Despite a history of missing sales targets, LiveWire again projected sales of 1,000 to 1,500 electric motorcycles for 2025.

A significant appeal of gas-powered motorcycles lies in the owner’s ability to customize their bike. By design, electric motorcycles are quiet and difficult to modify.

JD Vance Stops UK Apple Backdoor Order Threatening Americans’ Privacy

Vice President J.D. Vance played a decisive role in persuading the United Kingdom to drop its demand that Apple provide the government with a “backdoor” into personal user data, according to U.S. officials.

The negotiations followed months of quiet but direct engagement between American and British leaders on the matter, as reported by Fox News.

A U.S. official told Fox News Digital that Vance was “in charge and was personally involved in negotiating a deal, including having direct conversations with the British government.”

The official said Vance worked with U.K. partners to negotiate “a mutually beneficial understanding” that led the British government to withdraw the order.

The agreement, the official added, ensures “each country’s sovereignty while maintaining close cooperation on data sharing.”

The vice president’s background in technology, along with his stated commitment to privacy rights and the U.S.-U.K. alliance, shaped his involvement.
