Media Afraid to Call Ethnic Cleansing by Its Name

Earlier this month, President Donald Trump said that the US will “take over the Gaza Strip” and “own” it for the “long-term” (AP2/5/25), and that its Palestinian inhabitants will be “permanently” exiled (AP2/4/25). Subsequently, when reporters asked Trump whether Palestinians would have the right to return to Gaza under his plan, he said “no” (BBC2/10/25).

After Trump’s remarks, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres (Reuters2/5/25) said “it is essential to avoid any form of ethnic cleansing.”

Navi Pillay (Politico2/9/25), chair of the UN Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, said that

Trump is woefully ignorant of international law and the law of occupation. Forcible displacement of an occupied group is an international crime, and amounts to ethnic cleansing.

Human Rights Watch (2/5/25) said that, if Trump’s plan were implemented, it would “amount to an alarming escalation of forced displacement and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in Gaza.”

Trump Deputy Chief Of Staff Blasts Media Propagandists To Their Faces

The White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller torched fake news reporters Thursday during a briefing for playing along with the charade for years that Joe Biden was mentally fit, before giving them a lecture about how government works.

“Many of the people in this room for four years failed to cover the fact that Joe Biden was mentally incompetent and was not running the country,” Miller told leftist media correspondents.

He then noted that to counter the ridiculous leftist talking point that Elon Musk is an unelected bureaucrat, the media was in need of “a brief civics lesson.”

Miller then began his short but ever so sweet fact smackdown.

“A president is elected by the whole American people. He is the only official in the entire government that is elected by the entire nation. Judges are appointed, members are Congress are elected at the district or state level,” he noted.

“The Constitution, Article II, has a clause known as ‘the vesting clause,’ and it says ‘the executive power shall be vested in ‘a’ president — singular. The whole will of democracy is imbued into the elected president. That president then appoints staff to impose that democratic will onto the government,” he continued.

“The threat to democracy — the existential threat to democracy — is the unelected bureaucracy of lifetime, tenured civil servants who believe they answer to no one; who believe they can do whatever they want without consequence; who believe they can set their own agenda, no matter what Americans vote for,” Miller explained.

“So, Americans vote for radical FBI reform, and FBI agents say they don’t want to change. Or Americans vote for radical reform on our energy policies, and EPA bureaucrats say that they don’t want to change. Or Americans vote to end racist DEI policies, and lawyers at the DOJ say they son’t want to change,” Miller further outlined.

“What President Trump is doing is he is removing federal bureaucrats who are defying democracy by failing to implement his lawful orders, which are the will of the whole American people,” Miller asserted.

Officer, I’d Like to Report the Wreck of Another CNN ‘News’ Host

For the decades I’ve been in the news biz, especially on radio and TV, where sound and pictures are paramount, and a reporter must not be afraid to ask the simple — some might say dumb — questions. A reporter usually gets the best answers by asking the simplest of questions. Follow-up questions are where the reporter gets crucial information and builds out a news story.

And then there’s CNN host Brianna Keilar.

Keilar remains afflicted with TDS, an offshoot of the woke mind virus that she highlights for her viewers for hours every week. She doesn’t try to hide her biases but instead sallies forth to get a gotcha moment against every GOP person who bothers to go on CNN. Her motives can’t be trusted, of course, because she’s not fair. Her worldview is woke, and everything else emanates from there. In her mind, people to the right of center are Nazis. Her questions begin with that assumption.

But Trump advisor Stephen Miller may have cracked the code.

Indeed, every person who’s to the right of center should respond to Keilar’s questions in the same manner as Miller. Instead of sputtering, Miller answered the question in the simplest way, assuming that the woke CNN host really needed the answer to her rudimentary question.

The net effect was that viewers became witnesses to a clash that left the CNN host wrecked by the time it was all over. Officer, I’d like to report a hit and run of a news anchor. And it was all because she couldn’t get out of her own head to realize that not everyone with an R after their name is a Nazi.

Keilar’s question was about how that rich African American meanie Elon Musk really has no right to save Americans money and fire people.

As our colleagues at Townhall put it, “Stephen Miller has to whip out the crayons” to explain that there’s this thing called the Constitution. Blink twice if you understand what that means, Brianna, he seemed to say.

Trump Blames Ukraine: What The New York Times Gets Right and What The New York Times Gets Wrong

On February 18, for the first time since the war in Ukraine began, high ranking U.S. and Russian officials met to begin talks on ending the war. The U.S. delegation included Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Trump’s envoy to the Middle East and a favorite negotiator Steve Witkoff and National Security Advisor Mike Waltz. The Russian delegation included Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Putin’s foreign policy advisor, Yury Ushakov.

Following the meeting, U.S. President Donald Trump stunned reporters at a press conference by blaming Ukraine, and not Russia, for the war in what The New York Times called “Trump’s Pivot Toward Putin’s Russia.” In its cross examination of Trump’s case, The Times gets some things very right. But they got some things very wrong.

As he walked out of the talks, Sergey Lavrov said, “We weren’t just listening to each other, but we heard each other. I have reason to believe that the American side started to better understand our positions.”

The position that the American side seems to have better understood is the Russian narrative that the war did not start on February 24, 2022 and that Russia did not start it. Russia has long insisted that the war began with the U.S. supported coup of 2014 and the failure to protect the linguistic, religious and cultural rights of the ethnic Russian Ukrainian citizens who felt abandoned and threatened by that coup.

Lavrov has consistently argued that Russia is not demanding preconditions but that they are demanding that the West fulfil its previous agreement not to expand NATO eastward to Russia’s border and its previous commitment to settle the crisis in Ukraine based on the UN Charter that stipulates the principle of equal rights and self-determination. The first was broken with the promise that Ukraine was on an irreversible path to NATO; the second was broken with Kiev’s “extermination of everything Russian, including language, mass media, culture, and even the use of the Russian language in everyday life.” Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, according to this narrative that the Americans now “better understand,” was intended to prevent the first and protect the second.

So, The New York Times complains that “[a]s far as Mr. Trump is concerned, Russia is not responsible for the war that has devastated its neighbor. Instead, he suggests that Ukraine is to blame for Russia’s invasion of it.” Following the meeting of the American and Russian delegations, The Times complains that “American officials did not dwell on Russia’s violation of international law in attacking Ukraine.”

About this, The Times is right. Trump is wrong more for what he did not say than for what he did. “By contrast,” The Times says, “Mr. Trump uttered not one word of reproach for Mr. Putin or for Russia.” Putin is to blame for the illegal invasion of Ukraine, and the discussions on ending the war must put this on the record and address it, at least in security guarantees for Ukraine.

Trump Slams Zelenskiy: Never Should Have Been A War. Mockingbird Media Jumps The Shark.

The globalist media is wailing and gnashing their teeth over Trump’s comments and actions over the Ukraine War and those of its President, Volodymyr Zelenskiy.

Trump criticized Zelensky’s and the EU’s demand for a seat at the peace talks over the country’s future: “But today I heard, ‘Oh, we weren’t invited.’ Well, you’ve been there for three years. You should have ended it three years. You should have never started it. You could have made a deal.”

Trump he said he could have made a deal on Ukraine where no one would have been killed, and would have kept most of their land. But no, Europe, and the Biden regime wanted war.

Trump envoy Keith Kellogg, arriving in Kyiv today, for talks with President Zelenskiy and other officials. “We will listen. We are prepared to provide what is needed. We understand the need for security guarantees. Part of my mission is to listen.”

This is all classic Trump negotiations style.

Zelenskiy himself is making ridiculous demands, and immature statements, like those of a globalist puppet who must keep the war going for his paymasters at all cost.

Former RNC Chair Who Now Works for MSNBC Has Total On-Air Meltdown About Elon Musk and DOGE

Michael Steele was the chairman of the Republican National Committee from 2009 to 2011. In the Trump years, he has shown himself to be a complete RINO, an anti-Trump wingnut who feels more at home on the set of MSNBC where he currently serves as a regular contributor.

Over the weekend, Steele had an on-air meltdown over Elon Musk and the work he is doing with DOGE.

It’s a real mystery why Republicans did so much losing on this guy’s watch. It’s amazing that he was once paid to run the RNC.

FOX News has details:

MSNBC host demands Democrats ‘show that you give a damn’ about Trump, Musk in fiery rant

MSNBC’s Michael Steele unloaded on Democrats during a rant on Saturday, demanding they start to show they care about people “losing their jobs” and President Donald Trump’s early actions as president.

“I’d just like you to show that you give a damn!” Steele, a former RNC Chair turned MSNBC host, said. “That you get a little emotional about the fact that people are losing their jobs indiscriminately! That this individual sitting down at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue has given absolute power to one man, who brings his son into the Oval Office, whose son says to him, ‘you’re not the president! You shouldn’t be in that chair!’ Now, where did he get that from? He got it from his daddy! Because that’s what his daddy thinks of the man who brought him into the Oval Office.”…

“They’re in your bedrooms!” Steele continued. “They’re in your living rooms! They’re in your businesses! They’ve got they got your data, dumb a–! They got all your stuff! Elon Musk has his tentacles in everything you’re doing! Not just off of X, but he’s in the Treasury Department! He’s in the Labor Department! He’s in Department of Homeland Security!”

What the Hell Is Wrong With CBS News?

The weekendus horribilis (with apologies to anyone who actually knows Latin) at CBS News was a marvel to behold, as though division chief Wendy McMahon had spent days carefully laying a field full of rakes before donning clown shoes and dancing across the field to Ricky Martin’s “Livin’ la Vida Loca.”

As I’m sure you’re already aware, things kicked off Sunday morning with the social media backlash — I need a better, happier word than “backlash” — to “Face the Nation” host Margaret Brennan insisting to SecState Marco Rubio that the problem with the Nazis was all their free speech.

PJ’s own Sarah Anderson had that story for you in near real-time yesterday, but let me give you a brief rundown. Vice President JD Vance’s European address defending free speech was given “in a country where free speech was weaponized to conduct a genocide,” is a thing Brennan actually said out loud on network television, perhaps because she lost a bet.

Sarah still has all the gory details in case you missed it yesterday.

Today, Victoria Taft nailed it with her column, echoing the principal in “Billy Madison.”

“Margaret,” Rubio could have said, “What you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.”

My only issue with Victoria’s column is that I didn’t write it. Read the whole thing if you haven’t already.

But that was only the first of many dozen rakes CBS News stepped on last weekend.

Incredible: CBS Anchor Claims Free Speech Caused The Holocaust

During an interview with Secretary of State Marco Rubi Sunday, CBS’s “Face the Nation” anchor Margaret Brennan brazenly declared that Nazis “weaponized” free speech to conduct the Holocaust.

Brennan asked Rubio about Vice President JD Vance’s speech in Munich where he blasted attending European elites for killing free speech in their countries and trying to silence any citizens who do not share their warped globalist world views.

Brennan charges that Vance “lectured about what he described as censorship, mainly focusing, though, on including more views from the right. He also met with the leader of a far-right party known as the AfD, which, as you know, is under investigation and monitoring by German intelligence because of extremism.”

She then asked Rubio “What did all of this accomplish, other than irritating our allies?”

Rubio responded, “Why would our allies or anybody be irritated by free speech and by someone giving their opinion? We are, after all, democracies.”

“I think if anyone’s angry about his words, they don’t have to agree with him, but to be angry about it, I think actually makes his point,” Rubio added.

Florida: Jewish Man Shoots Two Israelis ‘After Mistaking Them for Palestinians’

A Jewish man in Miami on Sunday shot two Israelis after “mistaking them for Palestinians” and yet the media is reporting on the incident as an “anti-Semitic attack.”

From NBC Miami, “Man faces attempted murder charges after shooting 2 in Miami Beach: Police”:

A man accused of shooting two people in Miami Beach was arrested on Sunday, police said.

Mordechai Brafman, 27, was charged with two counts of attempted second-degree murder.

Police said on Saturday, surveillance video in the 4800 block of Pine Tree captured Brafman’s car going southbound on Pine Road and then making a U-turn at 48th Street where a vehicle with two victims was stopped.

The arrest report said that Brafman drove past them and stopped directly in front of them.

Brafman then got out of his car, stayed near the driver’s side and started shooting the vehicle as it drove past him, the report said.

The victims’ vehicle, the report said, was shot 17 times and struck both people inside.

President Trump Dismantles Fake News Media’s Narrative for High Egg Prices: ‘I’ve Been Here for Three Weeks’

President Donald Trump immediately addressed the media’s latest fixation on skyrocketing egg prices, a crisis they’ve been quick to blame on his recent return to the White House.

As Trump arrived at Palm Beach International Airport on Sunday en route to the Daytona 500, he was immediately questioned by reporters about the record-high egg prices, a topic that has been sensationalized by media outlets looking to blame his administration.

“Well, there’s a flu. Before I got here, it was already at an all-time high,” Trump said.

“I’ve been here for three weeks. I have had nothing to do with inflation. This was caused by Biden. I had four years of virtually no inflation. So I’m just taking over. But I’ll tell you what, this country has made more progress in the last three weeks than it’s made in the last four years, and we’re respected again as a country.”
