Trump signs EO aimed at mitigating nat’l security and cyber risks of advanced AI

President Donald Trump signed an executive order (EO) on Tuesday aimed at mitigating the national security and cyber risks of advanced artificial intelligence (AI).

The long-awaited directive establishes a framework that asks leading AI developers to voluntarily grant the federal government early access to their most powerful “frontier models” for security testing up to 30 days before they are released to the public.

The order represents a striking compromise between Washington’s growing anxieties over the offensive capabilities of next-generation AI systems and the Trump administration’s commitment to maintaining a deregulatory, pro-innovation environment that can outpace global competitors like China.

The final text of the executive order expressly forbids the creation of any “mandatory governmental licensing, preclearance, or permitting requirement,” ensuring that participation remains strictly voluntary for American tech giants.

Under the newly unveiled guidelines, the Treasury Department, the Department of War, the National Security Agency (NSA), and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) are given 60 days to develop a classified benchmarking process to identify which highly advanced models qualify for scrutiny.

Once a model meets these criteria, trusted government partners will have a 30-day window to evaluate the technology behind closed doors, specifically scanning for structural vulnerabilities, insider risks, and potential threats to the nation’s digital infrastructure.

The Trump administration’s calculus shifted rapidly following recent, alarming breakthroughs in the private sector. Officials were reportedly spooked by the unprecedented vulnerability-finding and cyber-exploitation capabilities demonstrated by upcoming frontier systems, such as Anthropic’s unreleased “Claude Mythos” model.

According to reports, the apparent capacity of these advanced systems to map out and exploit flaws in global software at an industrialized scale triggered urgent, closed-door warnings between economic officials and Wall Street CEOs, purportedly convincing the White House that some level of federal vetting was necessary to protect national assets.

Meanwhile, insiders claim that the road to Tuesday’s signing was marked by friction and internal debate within the administration over the scope of government overreach. President Trump had abruptly canceled an official Oval Office signing ceremony less than two weeks prior, following pushback from tech executives and prominent conservative advisers.

The original iteration of the order mandated a much more restrictive 90-day pre-release review window, a timeline the tech industry warned would severely blunt America’s competitive edge against foreign adversaries.

Phoenix Pride Files for Bankruptcy Ahead of ‘Pride Month’

Phoenix Pride, a prominent organization behind Arizona’s largest LGBTQ+ gathering, announced on the eve of “Pride Month” that it has filed for bankruptcy.

“The filing, submitted Thursday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona, showed that Phoenix Pride was seeking Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, allowing time to continue operations while restructuring its debts under court supervision,” the Tucson Sentinel reported

The organization’s board of directors said in a press release that the decision “was not made lightly.”

“Rising operational costs, economic uncertainty, shifts in sponsorship and fundraising partly due to the current political climate and administration, and increasing demands on nonprofit organizations have created circumstances we can no longer navigate alone,” the press release reads. “Like many Pride organizations and LGBTQ+ nonprofits across the country, Phoenix Pride has faced mounting financial pressures that threaten our long-term sustainability.”

The local publication noted that Phoenix Pride’s financial woes come just months after Tucson Pride shut down “following years of financial strain and leadership problems.”

“The sequence of events raises new questions about the sustainability of some of the state’s largest LGBTQ+ organizations as they navigate rising costs, strict budgets, internal struggles and community trust,” the report continues.

Phoenix Pride said filing Chapter 11 gives the organization the opportunity to reorganize its finances while continuing to operate, with the board of directors saying, “Our mission has not changed.”

According to the local news report, residents at a January town hall questioned the organization’s finances, transparency, and long-term plan. In November, Phoenix Pride publicly announced that its budget was $350,000 short and blamed its troubles on waning festival attendance and the loss of major sponsors.

Court documents list three creditors or entities who allege the organization owes them money, including $11,770 to a Wells Fargo Business Elite Card account and $1,600 to Oracle Event Group, per the report.

“The largest debt is a disputed claim of $418,886.31 tied to Pride Group, LLC, an Arizona-based event services company. A disputed claim means the two organizations disagree about the amount of money owed. The details of the dispute have not been disclosed,” the report details.

Facebook Is Accused Of Fostering Ethnic Enclaves At Headquarters

Tech advocacy group blames visa programs for enabling corporate tribalism.

A terminated software engineer is accusing Facebook parent company Meta of allowing Chinese migrants to take over entire departments while American employees face systematic exclusion and layoffs, Neil Munro of Breitbart News reported.

Jeremy Bernier, who graduated from Virginia Tech in 2012, lost his software engineering job at the company and has gone public with allegations of widespread discrimination. “At Meta, 90% of my coworkers were Chinese, and non-Chinese were routinely excluded, disadvantaged, and targeted for layoffs,” Bernier said. He continued that “6 out of the 7 layoffs I observed targeted non-Chinese despite non-Chinese being the vast minority. Certain org[anizations] like ads and MRS [Meta Recommendation Systems for prioritizing Facebook posts] are notorious for being Chinese dominated.”

The former employee shared his account through multiple social media posts. “On Wednesdays and Fridays I’d often be the only non-Chinese person on my team in the office, and they’d all get lunch together without inviting me,” Bernier recounted.

Mexican President Tells U.S. Ambassador to Butt Out Regarding Narco-Politicians

Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum lashed out against U.S. Ambassador to Mexico Ronald Johnson, telling him to butt out of her country’s domestic issues. The comment came in response to Johnson’s earlier statement that the fight against cartels was not political. The scuffle comes at a time of great tension between both countries, as Sheinbaum has been fiercely

In her most recent morning news conference, Sheinbaum criticized Johnson, claiming that he needed to stay in his lane and that Mexico’s issues were for Mexicans to handle.

Sheinbaum’s rebuke came after Johnson posted on social media a message claiming that the fight against cartels should unite and not divide the people on both sides of the border. Johnson added that turning the fight against cartels into a political dispute is a wasted opportunity.

Iran Sends Missiles, Drones Targeting Airbases Across Gulf After US Nighttime Attack On Qeshm Island

In the overnight hours local time, Kuwait is reporting inbound missiles and drones, with Fars reporting that two American bases were targeted. Explosions and air raid sirens also being reported in Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Bahrain. It seems that war is popping off once again.

Per a breaking Reuters report:

Kuwait’s army says that air defenses are intercepting hostile missile and drone attacks and urges the public to follow security and safety instructions issued by the relevant authorities.

Any sounds of explosions heard are the result of interceptions, the army adds.

Tasnim: “Blasts reported at Kuwait’s Ali al-Salem US airbase” after three missiles were fired. And the latest from CNN:

Kuwait says it is intercepting enemy missile and drone attacks. While it has not yet identified who it believes is behind the attack, the news comes shortly after Iranian media reported “explosion-like sounds” near Iran’s Qeshm island. Anti-Ice Activist Accused of Leaving Agent with Horrific Bite Wounds Previously Accused of Distributing Child Porn

The Gateway Pundit reported that an anti-ICE rioter, identified as Brendan John Geier, was arrested and charged last week after kicking and biting ICE agents during protests, leaving the agent with horrific bite wounds.

In gruesome photos of agents’ injuries,  gashes and teeth marks are seen on the agents’ skin.

Acting Attorney General Blanche shared the following after the arrest:  “Today @TheJusticeDept charged rioter Brendan John Geier for allegedly kicking and biting ICE officers at Delaney Hall last night. We will not tolerate the vicious attacks on ICE officers we’ve seen in New Jersey the last few days. These riots are clearly not ‘peaceful protests’ as you can see from the photos of these horrific wounds. Assault a federal officer, you’ll be held accountable.”

The Justice Department has confirmed to The New York Post that Geier, of Madison, New Jersey, was previously charged with sexual abuse of children related to the dissemination and possession of child pornography in Pennsylvania.

In 2019, the Berks County District Attorney’s Office shared, “On September 21, 2018, the Berks County Detectives received a complaint from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC.)This complaint involved the possession and uploading of child pornography through “Skype” on September 17, 2018.”

“Detectives learned that Microsoft reported to NCMEC that someone utilized an I.P. address to upload seven digital images of suspected child pornography. The I.P. address was identified and that information was provided to the detectives. On October 1, 2018, detectives learned that the I.P. address and device was associated with the defendant, Brendan Geier.”

“On November 9, 2018, members of the Berks County Detectives and the Kutztown University Police Department served a search warrant on the defendant’s residence, which was a room located at Lehigh Hall, Kutztown University, Kutztown, Pennsylvania 19530.”

Rampant Kleptocracy Feeds Wealth Inequality In A Crumbling American Empire

The state of the American economy is something that is increasingly on the minds of Americans these days. With life getting more expensive millions of Americans are feeling the squeeze getting tighter and tighter. And it seems with every passing day that the so called “leaders” of the American empire further demonstrate their disconnect from the fiscal reality of the average citizen.

The Grand-Canyon-sized wealth gap in this nation is staggering, with a classism characterized by despotic decadence on the one hand and dire desperation on the other, with most people falling into the latter category while the former flaunt their obscene opulence.

This of course isn’t just prevalent among the political predators, but throughout the entirety of the parasitic one percent, political and cultural elitists stretching from the halls of Congress to corporate power centers, to the Hollywood Hills.

A prime example of this being the annual Met Gala earlier this month. While politically unimportant, the cult of celebrity was on full display as these supercilious snobs laud over themselves for the world to see in grandiose fashion, grandstanding with multimillion dollar outfits and accessories. Meanwhile much of the population struggle to make ends meet.

And let us be clear, this is not a condemnation of the rich for the sake of being rich. Rather, it is a condemnation of a society in which self proclaimed elitists enrich themselves through the institutionalized exploitation of the average person, profiting from systems deliberately designed to oppress the many for the benefit of the few.

This permeates throughout the entirety of America’s power structure, observable on federal, state, and even local levels, as demonstrated by The Free Thought Project’s recent reporting on the continued criminalization of homelessness.

Fiscal recklessness is running rampant through American legislature. As recently reported by The Daily Economy, the US debt has now crossed 100% of GDP for the first time since the end of World War II.

ICE Pleads with Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger Not to Release Illegal Alien Accused of Raping Girl

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is urging Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger (D) to make sure an illegal alien, accused of raping a teen girl, stays locked up in jail rather than being released back into the community.

Cristian Romario Saenz-Argueta, a 31-year-old illegal alien from El Salvador, was arrested in Prince William County, Virginia, on May 26 and charged with one count of rape by force, threat, or intimidation, and two counts of carnal knowledge of a child between the ages of 13 and 14.

According to police, Saenz-Argueta used social media to contact a girl who was under 15 years old, portraying himself as 18 years old. Police allege that in November of last year, Saenz-Argueta met up with the young girl in a parking lot and sexually assaulted her.

“This sick illegal alien from El Salvador now faces three felony charges for raping a girl under the age of 15,” the Department of Homeland Security’s Lauren Bis said:

DHS is asking sanctuary politicians in Prince William County, Virginia to not release this pedophile from jail and cooperate with ICE law enforcement. Due to the reckless policies of Governor Abigail Spanberger and her fellow sanctuary politicians, Virginia has become a magnet for criminal illegal aliens who know that they’ll be protected in this state. How many more innocent victims have to be hurt by illegal aliens before Governor Spanberger cooperates with ICE law enforcement? [Emphasis added]

Saenz-Argueta illegally crossed the United States-Mexico border as an unknown got-away before returning to his native El Salvador in 2022. At a later date, unknown to officials, Saenz-Argueta illegally crossed the border again.

EU Climate Scam Exposed: IPCC Admits Doomsday Scenario Was “Implausible” Garbage – But Brussels Refuses to Scrap a SINGLE Regulation Built on the Lie

The House of the Great Climate Scam is collapsing. The United Nations’ own climate priesthood has finally admitted what skeptics have screamed for years: their favorite apocalyptic scenario, RCP8.5 – the one predicting civilization-ending warming, floods, fires, and famines unless we destroy our economies with Green New Deals – is “implausible.” Fake. Junk science sold as gospel.

But here’s the real bombshell the fake news won’t touch: The European Union, that bloated bureaucratic beast strangling its citizens with Net Zero madness, hasn’t pulled even one document, “scientific” report, regulation, or taxpayer-funded scare tactic based on this now-discredited fairy tale. Not a single one. Trillions in subsidies, destroyed industries, skyrocketing energy bills, and farmers rioting in the streets – all propped up on a foundation of lies.

The Big Lie That Powered the Green Grift

For over a decade, EU apparatchiks at the European Environment Agency (EEA), Joint Research Centre (JRC), Climate-ADAPT, and even the European Central Bank leaned hard on RCP8.5 as their “high-emissions” nightmare fuel. Sea-level rise maps? RCP8.5. Extreme fire weather? RCP8.5. Heatwaves, droughts, flooding Armageddon? All RCP8.5. The PESETA projects hammering agriculture, coasts, energy, and tourism? Straight out of the RCP8.5 playbook. Bank stress tests? You guessed it.

These “experts” hyped impossible futures – all to justify the European Green Deal, Fit for 55 insanity, carbon taxes, EV mandates, heating bans, and deindustrialization that’s gutting Europe. Roger Pielke Jr. nailed it: These scenarios produced “impossible futures” that dominated policy anyway.

Now the IPCC’s scenario team is quietly retiring RCP8.5/SSP5-8.5 for the next assessment round because it’s detached from reality. Even they can’t pretend anymore.

DOGE Alumni Launch AI Startup To Target Waste On Main Street – And Already Have Their First Target

Two alumni of the Department of Government Efficiency are bringing their cost-cutting experience from Washington to the private sector, launching Special, a startup that aims to harness artificial intelligence to wring inefficiencies out of what it describes as America’s $10 trillion Main Street services economy.

Nate Cavanaugh and Justin Fox spent much of 2025 at DOGE, where they spearheaded the Small Agencies team. Their government stint, under the high-profile effort led by SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk, contributed to approximately $215 billion in estimated savingsThe pair departed in September 2025.

Similar to the government, Main Street is massive, highly unoptimized, and provides essential services to Americans. One needs to look no further than childcare learning centers in Minnesota or hospice businesses in California to find immense waste at the state level from businesses that benefit from taxpayer dollars,” the founders wrote in their announcement. “AI provides a generational opportunity to transform the efficiency of these businesses, root out waste, and deliver a great customer experience for American taxpayers. Through this process, we believe we can set a new standard for how these businesses should operate.”

Special is reportedly building what it calls SpecialOS, an operating system that integrates frontier AI models with proprietary tools to automate manual tasks like billing, scheduling, and insurance processing. Instead of licensing the technology broadly, the company plans to vertically integrate by acquiring and operating businesses in targeted industries, allowing it to control deployment and outcomes.

The first product, Figure Health, focuses on senior care and has already secured its first acquisition in Texas, a provider serving more than 1,400 patients and employing hundreds of nurses, according to the company. The plan is to use AI efficiencies to raise nurse pay, easing labor shortages while improving care quality. Figure Health intends to open-source its Medicare and Medicaid billing claims.

Special has attracted notable backing in a financing round led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from DOGE alumni and allies including Steve Davis, as well as Coinbase’s Brian Armstrong and Palantir’s Shyam Sankar.

The name Special pays tribute to those we believe are the greatest movers of society: the builders, the creators, the people who put it all on the line and just go for it. Special pledges allegiance not only to the United States, but to those in the arena – the ones courageous enough to move the world forward,” Cavanaugh and Fox said.
