FBI blocked probe into alleged Chinese 2020 election meddling to protect Wray from fallout, documents show

The FBI blocked an investigation into allegations that the Chinese Communist Party manufactured fake driver’s licenses and shipped them to the U.S. in a scheme to influence the 2020 presidential election in favor of Joe Biden because it would “contradict” then-FBI Director Christopher Wray’s congressional testimony, newly declassified FBI documents obtained by Fox News Digital reveal.

The records, which include communications between FBI officials ahead of the 2020 election, were recently declassified by FBI Director Kash Patel and transmitted to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa.

Fox News Digital reported in June that Patel located and declassified the original reporting document alleging the Chinese Communist Party sought to deliver fake driver’s licenses to Chinese sympathizers in the U.S. who would cast a vote for Biden in the 2020 election. The document did not say whether any ballots were cast as part of the scheme.

All 45 Senate Dems Just Voted For A $4 Trillion Tax Increase

The Big Beautiful Bill was dragged over the Senate finish line with the support of just half the chamber, plus one tiebreaking vote from Vice President J.D. Vance. It still requires House approval before it is sent to the president’s desk for a signature. The tax and spend plan contains nuggets of President Donald Trump’s agenda, including his 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA), a sunsetting tax cut many Americans have become accustomed to.

Without the passage of the BBB, TCJA will expire Dec. 31, certain tax rules will revert to pre-TCJA levels, and then taxpayers will feel the burn Democrats voted for.

“Failure to pass this legislation would result in a $4 trillion tax hike,” according to the White House. But a huge tax hit to the American people is not enough to move half the Senate to support the BBB.

Tuesday’s vote was passed with 50 Republican senators in favor. All 45 Democrats voted no. They were joined by three Republicans, Sens. Thom Tillis of North Carolina, Susan Collins of Maine, and Rand Paul of Kentucky. Also, two independents voted no, Sen. Angus King of Maine and Bernie Sanders of Vermont.

At least we know Republicans are willing to break from the pack and think on their own. But we won’t forget those Republicans who voted with Democrats to increase taxes. Because of them, this vote was way too close.

No one is surprised that Democrats voted in unison. Democrats are forever working against Trump instead of for voters. They would rather win a political battle than let regular Americans keep the TCJA standard deduction, which more than double what it used to be.

Maybe senators opposed to tax savings for constituents don’t understand how tax breaks can affect someone earning the average U.S. income of $62,000. After all, that is much lower than a senator’s tax bracket.

For example, Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., has a net worth of something like $251 million. Warner railed against the BBB, making all kinds of dramatic social media posts before the vote. He tried to connect with regular people in one post by waving an Egg McMuffin in one hand and a McDonalds hashbrown in the other. “Trying to keep the fuel. Pretty damn tired,” he explained, his hair still perfect after allegedly working 24 hours straight. I’d wager $4 trillion the breakfast was just for show and he never took a bite.

Trans Swimmer Lia Thomas Stripped of Swim Titles in UPenn Trump Deal

The University of Pennsylvania has agreed to ban transgender women from its women’s sports teams, resolving a federal civil rights investigation centered on former swimmer Lia Thomas. The U.S. Department of Education announced the voluntary agreement Tuesday, stating that Penn violated Title IX by allowing Thomas to compete in women’s events during the 2021–2022 season.

As part of the resolution, Penn will reinstate Division I swimming records and titles to athletes displaced by Thomas’s victories and issue personalized apology letters to each of them, per the Department of Education. The university must adopt “biology-based” definitions of male and female in athletics and publicly commit to barring “males from competing in female athletic programs.” Penn and the NCAA did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

The agreement marks a significant development in the Trump administration’s broader campaign to restrict transgender participation in women’s sports. Education Secretary Linda McMahon called the outcome a “victory for women and girls,” signaling a more aggressive federal stance on enforcing Title IX based on biological sex.

The case has reignited national debate over fairness in women’s athletics, transgender rights, and the scope of federal civil rights protections. It also sets a precedent for how schools may be required to handle similar cases under current federal leadership.

CBS, Paramount Forced to Pay Trump Massive 8-Figure Settlement for Deceptively Editing ’60 Minutes’ Kamala Harris Interview

Paramount and CBS was forced to pay millions of dollars to President Trump and agreed to change its editorial policy in a settlement.

President Trump filed a $20 billion lawsuit against the network’s parent company Paramount for deceptively editing a ’60 Minutes’ interview with Kamala Harris.

Trump will be paid $16 million up front, according to Fox News.

Fox News reported:

Paramount Global and CBS agreed on Tuesday to pay President Donald Trump a sum that could reach north of $30 million to settle the president’s election interference lawsuit against the network.

Trump will receive $16 million upfront. This will cover legal fees, costs of the case, and contributions to his library or charitable causes, to be determined at Trump’s discretion. There is an expectation that there will be another allocation in the mid-eight figures set aside for advertisements, public service announcements, or other similar transmissions, in support of conservative causes by the network, Fox News Digital has learned.

Sources close to the situation told Fox News Digital that CBS has agreed to update its editorial standards to install a mandatory new rule. Going forward, the network will promptly release full, unedited transcripts of future presidential candidates’ interviews. People involved in the settlement talks have referred to this as the “Trump Rule.”

In October President Trump sued CBS News for $10 billion (now increased to $20 billion) for deceptively editing its ’60 Minutes’ interview with Kamala Harris.

“President Trump brings this action to redress the immense harm caused to him, to his campaign, and to tens of millions of citizens in Texas and across America by CBS’s deceptive broadcasting conduct,” the lawsuit stated, according to Fox News.

Fake news 60 Minutes was caught editing Kamala’s answers to make her sound coherent and normal.

Mystery surrounds the Jeffrey Epstein files after Bondi claims ‘tens of thousands’ of videos

It was a surprising statement from Attorney General Pam Bondi as the Trump administration promises to release more files from its sex trafficking investigation of Jeffrey Epstein: The FBI, she said, was reviewing “tens of thousands of videos” of the wealthy financier “with children or child porn.”

The comment, made to reporters at the White House days after a similar remark to a stranger with a hidden camera, raised the stakes for President Donald Trump’s administration to prove it has in its possession previously unseen compelling evidence. That task is all the more pressing after an earlier document dump that Bondi hyped angered elements of Trump’s base by failing to deliver new bombshells and as administration officials who had promised to unlock supposed secrets of the so-called government “deep state” struggle to fulfill that pledge.

Yet weeks after Bondi’s remarks, it remains unclear what she was referring to.

The Associated Press spoke with lawyers and law enforcement officials in criminal cases of Epstein and socialite former girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell who said they hadn’t seen and didn’t know of a trove of recordings like what Bondi described. Indictments and detention memos do not reference the existence of videos of Epstein with children, and neither was charged with possession of child sex abuse material even though that offense would have been much easier to prove than the sex trafficking counts they faced.

Alleged cannibal attempted to eat himself during deportation flight, says Noem

An alleged cannibal incarcerated by federal agents attempted to eat himself while on a deportation flight, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem claimed during a Tuesday press conference.

Speaking with reporters during a roundtable that included President Donald Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Noem said the bizarre incident was relayed to her by U.S. Marshals working with ICE. The purpose of the roundtable was to discuss the new “Alligator Alcatraz” illegal immigrant detainment facility in Florida.

While commenting on the need for increased deportations of dangerous illegals, Noem claimed that an alleged cannibal attempted to eat himself while detained, inflicting wounds on him that necessitated immediate medical attention.

Noem said the incident illustrates how former President Joe Biden “let the worst of the worst come in here.”

Idaho firefighter sniper Wess Roley had ‘Nazi tendencies’ and filled schoolbooks with swastikas, ex-classmates say

Idaho firefighter killer Wess Roley had “Nazi tendencies” and was “obsessed with guns” as a schoolkid — often alarming fellow students by doodling swastikas and weapons in his notebooks, according to several classmates.

“My good friend saw drawings of swastikas and guns in his notebook,” said former classmate Harry Standley, who went to middle and and high school with Roley.

“We were all pretty scared of him,” Standley told USA TODAY.

Roley, 20, took his own life Sunday in the woods of Coeur d’Alene after murdering two firefighters he apparently lured there by setting a brush fire. A third firefighter was seriously wounded as Roley fired from the trees, prompting about 300 law enforcement officers to close in on the mountain in an hours-long standoff.

Former classmates say they were shocked when they saw Roley’s face in the headlines, and that they hadn’t talked to him for years.

Rubio Announces USAID Has ‘Officially’ Ceased Operations

Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed on Tuesday the shutdown of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), which had been rapidly dismantled earlier this year by the Trump administration.

In a blog post on the State Department’s website, Rubio wrote that foreign assistance provided by USAID had failed to deliver results for Americans and also said that the agency was part of the “globe-spanning NGO [non-governmental organizations] industrial complex” that was funded by taxpayers.

“USAID has little to show since the end of the Cold War,” Rubio said.

“Development objectives have rarely been met, instability has often worsened, and anti-American sentiment has only grown. On the global stage, the countries that benefit the most from our generosity usually fail to reciprocate.”

Rubio wrote that as of July 1, the agency “will officially cease to implement foreign assistance” and that only assistance programs that align with the Trump administration’s priorities will be facilitated.

Democrats and a union representing foreign service workers have strongly pushed back against the dismantling of USAID, claiming that cuts to the agency would lead to a reduction in aid to poor countries and would ultimately put lives in danger.

But Rubio said in the blog post that USAID pushed anti-American ideas across the world along with “censorship and regime change operations” overseas and that it collaborated with NGOs that were “in league with Communist China and other geopolitical adversaries.”

On the day of Rubio’s announcement, the American Foreign Service Association union, which has filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration, said in a statement that USAID’s closure would cause the United States to lose its standing in the world and would impact the government’s capacity to wield “soft power.”

“Rather than engage in constructive conversations to lessen the devastating impact of these layoffs, the administration chose instead to inflict maximum pain and hardship through a barrage of questionable—and likely illegal—policies, accompanied by dismissive and dehumanizing rhetoric, all delivered with little thought to implementation or human consequences,” the American Foreign Service Association stated.

US Launches Its 44th Airstrike in Somalia This Year

US Africa Command announced on Tuesday that its forces launched another airstrike in Somalia as the Trump administration continues to bomb the country at a record pace.

AFRICOM said the strike targeted the ISIS affiliate in northeastern Somalia’s Puntland region, where the US is backing local forces. The command offered no details on the strike other than saying that it was launched to the southeast of Bossaso, a port city in Puntland.

“Specific details about units and assets will not be released to ensure continued operations security,” AFRICOM said. Starting in April, the command stopped sharing details about casualties or assessments of civilian harm.

Based on AFRICOM’s count, the bombing brings the total number of US airstrikes in Somalia this year to 44. New America, an organization that tracks the air war, has counted 45 airstrikes, which include one strike that was reported on but not claimed by AFRICOM.

The Trump administration is well on its way to breaking the record for the total number of US airstrikes in Somalia in a single year, which President Trump set at 63 in 2019.

US airstrikes in Puntland could escalate in the coming days and weeks as local Puntland forces announced a new operation against ISIS on Monday. The US has also been supporting the Mogadishu-based Federal Government in its fight against al-Shabaab in southern and central Somalia.

Supreme Court Declines to Hear Children’s Health Defense Case Alleging Meta-Government Collusion to Censor Vaccine Speech

The Supreme Court has turned down a petition from Children’s Health Defense (CHD), leaving unexamined the group’s challenge to what it describes as collusion between Meta and federal agencies aimed at suppressing constitutionally protected speech.

The case, which dates back to 2020, centered on CHD’s allegations that Facebook, under government influence, targeted and silenced its views on vaccines and COVID-19.

CHD filed its initial complaint against Meta in August 2020 and later amended it, arguing that government officials worked alongside the tech giant to stifle dissenting opinions that the public had every right to hear.

The removal of CHD’s Facebook and Instagram accounts in 2022 only fueled concerns about the growing threat of coordinated censorship in digital spaces.

Those accounts, once a major source of alternative information for millions, remain banned.

In a decision last year, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals sided with Meta, holding that the company’s actions reflected private policy choices rather than government compulsion.

CHD hoped the Supreme Court would take up the case and examine whether that distinction truly shields Big Tech from accountability when it suppresses speech at the behest of public officials. But the justices declined, offering no explanation, as is typical in most of the thousands of petitions they review annually.
