Did NYC’s Communist Mayoral Candidate Just Get Busted Peddling a Race Hoax?

It would be even more shocking if Zohran Mamdani weren’t abjectly insane. The hard left Democratic New York City mayoral candidate has an agenda that will essentially destroy the city, with actions to defund the police and install government-run grocery stores, to name a couple. He’s not a fan of Israel and is pretty much every horror you think of regarding the American Left. So, in keeping with that trend, are you shocked he tried to claim he was black when applying to Columbia University, because he did. Oh, I forgot—he also said he was Asian. Mamdani did not deny he did these things, and his explanation made for a good laugh.

As he runs for mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani has made his identity as a Muslim immigrant of South Asian descent a key part of his appeal.

But as a high school senior in 2009, Mr. Mamdani, the Democratic nominee, claimed another label when he applied to Columbia University. Asked to identify his race, he checked a box that he was “Asian” but also “Black or African American,” according to internal data derived from a hack of Columbia University that was shared with The New York Times.

Columbia, like many elite universities, used a race-conscious affirmative action admissions program at the time. Reporting that his race was Black or African American in addition to Asian could have given an advantage to Mr. Mamdani, who was born in Uganda and spent his earliest years there.

In an interview on Thursday, Mr. Mamdani, 33, said he did not consider himself either Black or African American, but rather “an American who was born in Africa.” He said his answers on the college application were an attempt to represent his complex background given the limited choices before him, not to gain an upper hand in the admissions process. (He was not accepted at Columbia.)

Florida Bans State Funds for Groups Accused of Speech Policing

Florida has moved to shield public funds from being used to support what many see as efforts to police speech under the guise of media bias monitoring.

Under the state’s new fiscal year 2026 budget, taxpayer dollars can no longer be spent on advertising or marketing firms that contract with groups like NewsGuard, Ad Fontes, or the Global Disinformation Index (GDI).

The measure was signed into law by Governor Ron DeSantis on Monday.

We obtained a copy of the bill for you here.

A press release from the Independent Media Council emphasized that the restriction is aimed at blocking state agencies from doing business with companies that rely on “politically biased media monitoring services.”

The council stated, “These monitoring groups purport to be impartial, but consistently skew their ratings to target conservative and independent media from receiving advertising from major brands.”

NewsGuard, one of the most prominent organizations caught in the spotlight, has received federal backing in the form of a $750,000 grant from the Department of Defense.

This funding helped the group develop its “Misinformation Fingerprints” technology, which it now offers to social media platforms, artificial intelligence developers, and tech firms as a tool for tracking so-called misinformation.

CNN Slime Ball Wants The “Citizenship Status” Of Trump’s Entire Family Investigated

Just when you thought CNN couldn’t become more clownworld than it already is, the network proves you wrong again.

During a panel discussion on deportations of illegal aliens, CNN ‘political commentator’ (shit talker) Bakari Sellers suggested that there should be an investigation into the citizenship status of all of President Trump’s kids.

Sellers essentially implied that their American citizenship could be revoked.

The discussion centred on the Trump administration’s efforts to revoke the citizenship of naturalized Americans who are found guilty of serious crimes.

The CNN clowns pointed to a recent Justice Department memo that directed U.S. attorneys to “prioritize and maximally pursue denaturalization proceedings” as a way of cracking down on crime.

Sellers accused Trump of refusing to give illegal immigrants “the benefit of their humanity,” and declared that there should be  “a full conversation” about the legal status of Trump’s own family.

“Look, if we want to have a conversation about who belongs where, when, how, and whether or not their citizenship status- and we want to look at everything, I mean, I would look at Donald Trump Jr.,” Sellers ranted.

“I would look at all of Melania‘s kids, all of Ivana‘s kids. I mean, let‘s just have a full conversation over who belongs here, how did they get here, their citizenship status,” he further blathered.

How did they get here?

Oregon hospital gives sex toys to criminal psych patients at taxpayer expense

It has been revealed that Oregon State Hospital, the state’s highest security psychiatric facility, distributes taxpayer-funded sex toys to its patients, according to a local news investigation.

The report from KGW found that the state-run hospital dispersed 65 sex toys to patients in 2024 at the cost of $2,900, while 42 sex toys were provided to patients the year prior.

Oregon State Hospital predominantly houses criminal mentally ill patients who were deemed unfit to stand trial or found guilty except for insanity on charges ranging from misdemeanors to serious violent crimes such as murder and sex offenses.

Patients are able to access a wide variety of sex toys with brand names such as Throttle Stroker, Her Pocket Bullet, The Vortex, Vibrating Helping Hand Pro, Vibrating Shower Stroker, Double Dancer, and Waterproof Prostate Massager, according to a 10-page catalog obtained through a public records request. A hospital spokesperson, Amber Shoebridge, told the network that these sex toys are paid for with public tax dollars, which range in price from $14.78 to $84.99.

“The need for sexual expression doesn’t disappear in institutional settings,” Shoebridge told KGW in a statement. “Oregon State Hospital provides access to sexual aids as a way to offer patients an ethical, therapeutic, and private form alternative for a lack of sexual expression.”

According to the report, Oregon State Hospital’s sex toy policy appears to be rare, as psychiatric hospital officials in other parts of the country said they were unaware of similar programs when reached for comment.

“I’m at a loss for words,” said Tiffany Edens, a crime victims advocate and rape survivor. “It’s like you are going into the sex toy store. They’re not appropriate for people who are in a state hospital,” she said, commenting on the catalog.

“You are feeding into people’s fantasies – people that have no business to have these types of toys,” Edens added.

Baywatch Pay Watch: Half-Million-Dollar Checks, Six-Figure Overtime For LA lifeguards

If it wasn’t clear that the city and county of Los Angeles are in dire need of spending resets, taxpayers can look no further than the county lifeguards paid to watch over its pools, lakes and ocean.

OpenTheBooks.com reported on outrageous overtime spending on the LA police, fire and particularly overpaid employees in the city’s Department Water & Power amid out-of-control wildfires in January, and the anti-immigration riots in June.

Lifeguards, too, enjoy big overtime payouts and generous benefits. The top-paid lifeguard in LA county was compensated more than $500,000 in 2024; and over the past 5 years, a single lifeguard was able to pull down $702,000 – in overtime alone!

BY THE NUMBERS

We reported that in 2021, the top-paid lifeguards earned up to $510,283 — back then, we found 98 lifeguards earned at least $200,000 including benefits.

Now, out of over 1,500 lifeguards, 134 of them earned at least $200,000 including benefits. Thirty-four of them had $300,000 or more in their compensation package.

Tennessee Enacts Law Making It a Felony to House Illegal Immigrants for Rent

Tennessee has enacted a groundbreaking law that makes harboring illegal immigrants a punishable crime.

Signed into effect by Governor Bill Lee in May 2025, Senate Bill 392, which took effect July 1, sends a clear message: Tennessee will not be a safe haven for those who flout federal immigration laws.

The new law targets landlords, business owners, and “sanctuary sympathizers” who knowingly harbor illegal aliens in exchange for rent or services — a Class E felony punishable by up to six years in prison and fines up to $3,000.

For cases involving children under 13, the penalty escalates to a Class A felony, with potential sentences of up to 60 years.

A coalition including the Southeastern Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, TIRRC, ICAP, and the American Immigration Council has sued in federal court to block the law, citing First Amendment and Supremacy Clause violations.

EU Digital ID Wallet Trials Near End Amid Privacy Concerns

Potential, one of the consortia selected to trial the EU’s planned Digital Identity (EUDI) Wallet, is preparing to conclude its work by September 2025.

The group, which came together in 2023, has played a role in laying the foundation for a system that privacy advocates warn could dramatically expand the surveillance and data collection capabilities of both governments and private companies.

The EU’s original target of launching the wallet in 2024 has already shifted, with the current deadline now pushed back to 2026.

Over the course of its mandate, Potential coordinated with 155 organizations across 19 countries, drawing in major corporations including Idemia, Thales, Amadeus, and Namirial.

Together, they developed six proposed uses for the digital wallet, covering activities such as opening a bank account, registering SIM or eSIM cards, accessing government services, using a mobile driving license, applying a Qualified eSignature, and presenting electronic prescriptions.

Each of these use cases, while framed as a convenience for citizens, raises questions about how personal data will be stored, shared, and protected in this new ecosystem.

A series of large-scale tests have already been conducted. The first remote trials began in May 2024. February 2025 saw cross-border testing in Warsaw, where 15 national wallets and 20 services exchanged data in peer-to-peer mode.

Cloudflare offers to make AI pay to crawl websites

Cloudflare will block AI bots from crawling websites by default for new customers, and broker pay-per-crawl deals between its customers and bot operators.

Cloudflare will block AI crawlers from accessing new customers’ websites without permission starting July 1 and is testing a way to make AI pay for the data it gathers.

Furthermore, website owners can now decide who crawls their sites, and for what purpose, and AI companies can reveal via Cloudflare whether the data they gather will be used for training, inference, or search, to help owners decide whether to allow the crawl.

The company began enabling its customers to choose to block AI crawlers in July 2024. Since then, it said, over one million customers have opted in.

“For decades, the Internet has operated on a simple exchange: search engines index content and direct users back to original websites, generating traffic and ad revenue for websites of all sizes. This cycle rewards creators that produce quality content with money and a following, while helping users discover new and interesting information,” Cloudflare said in its announcement. “That model is now broken. AI crawlers collect content like text, articles, and images to generate answers, without sending visitors to the original source — depriving content creators of revenue, and the satisfaction of knowing someone is reading their content. If the incentive to create original, quality content disappears, society ends up losing, and the future of the Internet is at risk.”

Something is going terribly wrong in the Baltic Sea

Beneath the waves of the Baltic Sea lies a silent but growing threat – the decaying remains of chemical munitions dumped after World War II. For years, these weapons have sat largely untouched, posing a known danger to marine life and coastal communities. The issue gained serious attention in the 21st century as scientists began to sound the alarm about growing environmental risks. Decades-old shells are corroding, raising the specter of toxic leaks that could trigger a full-blown environmental disaster.

Now, Germany is moving to recover and destroy these submerged stockpiles. But framed as an environmental cleanup, Berlin’s project may in fact worsen the environmental balance in the Baltic.

Russia has repeatedly emphasized the importance of its involvement in this process, citing its status as a directly affected nation with relevant expertise. Yet with international relations strained, meaningful cooperation remains elusive. So what happens if this mission is carried out without Russian input? RT takes a closer look.

What? Trump Says He’s Working on Legislation to Protect Illegal Alien Farm and Hospitality Workers – Says People Who Don’t Support Amnesty for Illegal Farm and Hospitality Workers are “Serious Radical Right People”

President Trump stunned many of his supporters during a rally at the Iowa State Fairgrounds on Thursday when he revealed that legislation is being drafted to apparently grant amnesty to some illegal aliens in the agriculture and hospitality industries.

He appeared to credit his Chief of Staff, Susie Wiles, and Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins for the idea. “You’re the one that brought this whole situation up,” Trump said to Rollins from the stage.

“You had cases where, not here, but just even over the years, where people have worked for a farm, on a farm, for 14, 15 years, and they get thrown out pretty viciously, and we can’t do it,” the President told the crowd. “We’ve got to work with the farmers and people that have hotels and leisure properties too.”

However, as The Gateway Pundit reported, deportations of illegal aliens, even the so-called “noncriminals,” are working for American workers. After a major ICE raid at Glenn Valley Foods in Omaha, Nebraska, every seat in the plant’s waiting area was filled with prospective new hires, just 48 hours after federal agents cleared out the illegals, none of whom were “violent offenders.”

It is also unclear why the President wants to allow employers to break federal law. 8 U.S.C. § 1324 “makes it unlawful for any person or other entity to hire, recruit, or refer for a fee, for employment in the United States an alien knowing the alien is an unauthorized alien.”

Criticizing those who would not support this move, he said that it’s the “serious radical right People” who won’t be “quite as happy.”

Does wanting accountability for people who are living and working in our country illegally make you “radical” now?
