Feds allowed thousands of juvenile gang members, criminals to become citizens

Congress has created several programs to allow illegal border crossers claiming to be minors to remain in the U.S. Despite years of documented abuse of the programs, Congress continues to fund them to the tune of billions of dollars.

One is the failed unaccompanied minor program, with decades of documented reports of abuse and neglect of children, The Center Square has reported. Another is the Special Immigrant Juvenile Petition (SIJP) program that allows illegal foreign national minors already involved in the juvenile court system to remain in the U.S. and obtain a pathway to citizenship.

For decades, the SIJP has been exploited by criminal actors to enable thousands of violent gang members and suspected terrorists to obtain lawful permanent resident (LPR) status and become U.S. citizens, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) says in a new report, “Criminality, Gangs, and Program Integrity Concerns in Special Immigrant Juvenile Petitions.”

Instead of requiring that illegal foreign national minors be vetted, including conducting criminal background checks, locating and verifying family members, and implementing a repatriation process, Congress in 1990 established the SIJP process without any prohibitions. The primary requirement for a SIJP is for a state juvenile court to determine that the minor could not reunify with one or both parents due to abuse, neglect or abandonment.

Congress never included a prohibition for juveniles with criminal records or a moral character standard requirement.

Under current law, nearly all SIJP applicants are approved, allowing them to obtain lawful permanent resident (LPR) status and eventually U.S. citizenship.

The USCIS evaluated more than 300,000 SIJP applications filed between fiscal year 2013 through February 2025 and found that nearly 19,000 applicants had criminal arrests, including 120 for murder.

More than 500 were identified as known or suspected MS-13 gang members whose applications were approved; at least 70 had been charged with gang-related federal racketeering offenses.

At least 200 had been convicted of sex crimes and were registered in the National Sex Offender Registry.

From fiscal 2020 through 2024, 198,414 SIJP applications were approved. Among them, 52% weren’t even eligible because they were over age 18 and legally adults.

The Epstein Files: What we know, and don’t know

As the Jeffrey Epstein case becomes a thorn in the side of the Trump administration, here is what we already know about the now-deceased financial manager and convicted child sex offender, what we don’t know, and why the Justice Department says it is reluctant to release more.

Epstein was a mysterious man of power and influence. He rubbed elbows with the world’s elite and died under widely questioned circumstances in his jail cell while awaiting trial in Manhattan on sex trafficking charges.

In the indictment against him, the Justice Department alleged the financier “sexually exploited and abused dozens of underage girls by enticing them to engage in sex acts with him in exchange for money.” Officials ruled that Epstein had committed suicide.

The strange circumstances of his untimely death and his association with rich and powerful figures has captivated audiences and inspired theories about blackmail operations, foreign intelligence work, and coverups of murder—all of which remain unverified.

Many officials now working for the Trump administration promised that they would deliver transparency in the Epstein case and vowed to release as many documents and case details to the public as possible. Trump often alleged the then-current government was concealing details to protect elites, as FBI Director Kash Patel also claimed in 2023.

Patel, along with Attorney General Pam Bondi, released a “First Phase” of Epstein documents in February pursuant to their effort to bring transparency to the case. Those files included six batches of the flight logs from Epstein’s private plane, nicknamed by observers as “The Lolita Express,” and his contact book, both of which were previously known to the public.

The Justice Department also released an evidence list from a search of Epstein’s properties and a heavily redacted list of masseuses that were not previously public.

Five Crucial Facts From The House Intel Report On 2016 Russian Interference

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard did an excellent service to our nation this week when she released a declassified version of a critical September 2020 House Intelligence Committee staff report on a major January 2017 intelligence report, known as an Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA), titled “Russia’s Influence Campaign Targeting the 2016 US Presidential Election.”

Gabbard’s decision came after a years-long tug-of-war over the release of this report between Republican members of Congress who believe it provides critical information about the Russia collusion hoax and the involvement of Obama officials and the U.S. Intelligence Community versus Democratic congressmen and deep state intelligence officials who have desperately tried to hide this report from the American public.

Press accounts have reported most of the essential details of the House report, such as how it was rushed out on President Obama’s orders to be published just before Trump’s first inauguration in January 2017. Media stories have also detailed how substandard intelligence was used to justify the ICA’s finding that Russia meddled in the 2016 election to help Donald Trump win and that this bad intelligence was included on the orders of CIA Director John Brennan over the objections of senior CIA analysts. The media has also reported the House Intelligence report’s finding that a hand-picked group of five analysts wrote the ICA and that it was not adequately vetted by U.S. intelligence agencies and analysts. It is also clear in the House report that, despite numerous statements by Brennan denying it, the fraudulent Steele dossier was heavily used in the ICA.

I am very familiar with the House Intelligence Committee report. I was permitted to read a classified version of the report when I served as Chief of Staff of the National Security Council in August 2018. I also discussed efforts by the White House to pressure the CIA to release the report a month before the 2020 presidential election with the late Lou Dobbs. This reportedly included President Trump visiting the CIA to retrieve the report personally.

Based on my understanding of this issue, here are five key points about the House Intelligence Committee report that most Americans may not be aware of.

Fired ABC Reporter Terry Moran Claims Trump Plans to End Press Freedom and Must Be ‘Stopped’

Former ABC News reporter Terry Moran, who was fired from the network for a social media rant against a White House aide, now is comparing President Donald Trump to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and claims the U.S. will lose its free press if Trump is not “stopped.”

Moran made his latest criticisms on the Substack channel of former MSNBC commentator Chris Matthews, another former TV news star who left his long-running show “Hardball” in disgrace in 2020 following accusations of making inappropriate comments about women.

ABC fired Moran in June for posting a blistering social media rant against Trump and White House aide Stephen Miller. The dismissal ended a 28-year-career at the network.

Moran’s latest diatribe — which critics would say confirms the reporter’s biased mindset when he was purportedly a mainstream reporter at ABC — was sparked by Matthews lamenting the recent CBS/ Paramount settlement with Trump.

“Is this going to keep going?” Matthews asked, wondering if other networks and publications would “grovel” before President Trump.

Resurfaced clip shows Epstein pleading the Fifth when asked if he was with Trump around underage girls

A resurfaced clip shows sex offender Jeffrey Epstein pleading the Fifth when he was asked during a deposition if he ever socialized with underage girls around Donald Trump.

The video clip, unearthed by left-leaning outlet MeidasTouch, shows Epstein responding to questions during a March 2010 deposition. The disgraced financier was questioned by an attorney of an alleged victim, Vice News previously reported.

In the clip, the attorney asks: “Have you ever socialized with Donald Trump in the presence of females under the age of 18?”

Epstein replied: “Though l’d like to answer that question, at least today l’m going to have to assert my Fifth, Sixth, and 14th Amendment rights, sir.”

Trump has never been accused of any crime in connection with the Epstein investigation and has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing. Pleading the Fifth refers to invoking the Fifth Amendment right to remain silent and not self-incriminate.

Inside socialist Zohran Mamdani’s posh wedding bash at secluded Uganda compound — complete with phone jamming system, armed guards

Socialist NYC mayoral frontrunner Zohran Mamdani celebrated his recent nuptials with a lavish, three-day affair at his family’s ritzy, secluded Ugandan compound — complete with masked security guards and a cellphone jamming system, The Post has learned.

The gates of the bustling, private compound, which sits in the wealthy Buziga Hill area outside the capital city of Kampala, were heavily guarded by military-style, masked men this week, with guests streaming in and partying until midnight, according to sources in the town who wished to remain anonymous for security reasons.

Mamdani, 33, eloped with artist and animator Rama Duwaji, 27, in February.

He told his social media followers Sunday he was heading to his homeland to celebrate with his wealthy filmmaker mom and professor dad, who own the Buziga Hill property.

The neighborhood is home to some of Uganda’s richest, including billionaire businessman Godfrey Kirumira, a city tycoon with stakes in real estate, tourism, petroleum and infrastructure, and houses neighboring the Mamdanis easily fetch more than $1 million.

Study: Google’s AI Summaries Cause Massive Decline in News Website Traffic

A new study has revealed that Google’s AI-generated search result summaries are leading to a drastic reduction in referral traffic for news websites, with some losing nearly 80 percent of their audience.

The Guardian reports that a recent study conducted by analytics company Authoritas has found that Google’s AI Overviews feature is causing a significant decline in traffic to news websites. The AI-generated summaries, which appear at the top of search results, provide users with the key information they are seeking without requiring them to click through to the original source.

According to the study, a website that previously ranked first in search results could experience a staggering 79 percent drop in traffic for that particular query if the results appear below an AI overview. This alarming trend has raised concerns among corporate media companies, who are now grappling with what some consider an existential threat to their business model.

The research also highlighted that links to Google’s YouTube were more prominently featured compared to the standard search result system. This finding has been submitted as part of a legal complaint to the UK’s competition watchdog, the Competition and Markets Authority, regarding the impact of Google AI Overviews on the news industry.

Google claims it has refuted the study’s findings, with a spokesperson stating that the research was “inaccurate and based on flawed assumptions and analysis.” The tech giant argued that the study relied on outdated estimations and a set of searches that did not accurately represent the queries that generate traffic for news websites. Google maintained that it continues to send billions of clicks to websites every day and has not observed the dramatic drops in aggregate web traffic suggested by the study.

Breitbart News previously reported that Google is seeking AI licensing deals with corporate media companies, in part to mollify concerns about AI cannibalizing their content.

Retailers Accused Of “Racism” As They Flee Black Neighborhoods In Milwaukee

Milwaukee is the latest in a long list of US cities facing a rapid retail exodus in minority neighborhoods and once again the blame is being placed on the companies in question rather than the behavior of the residents as they protests the rising tide of “food deserts”.

At the beginning of July, city officials mounted a public outcry after Cincinnati-based Kroger Co. announced the decision to close at least five Pick ‘n Save supermarket locations, including one in Milwaukee’s Metcalfe Park neighborhood.

The city was also notified by Walgreens that they will be closing at least seven locations over the next two years and CVS will be closing some locations as well.  Activists argue that the closures center around “black and brown neighborhoods” and that these areas “deserve access” to nearby grocery outlets.

Kroger’s decision was discussed at a July 2 meeting of the Common Council’s Community and Economic Development Committee.  Many people walk or take the bus to buy food, said Alderwoman Sharlen P. Moore. If the store is gone, they may have nowhere close to shop.  “This impacts our city,” Moore said. “They’re closing quite a bit of grocery stores that are in neighborhoods that absolutely have no access to groceries.”

Muslim Doctor Defends Wife-Beating, Advises Husbands to Avoid Serious Injury, Calls It ‘Therapeutic’

In a disturbing interview, a doctor at Gaza’s Islamic University openly instructs Palestinian husbands that they are obligated to beat their wives—but only in a way that avoids breaking bones or damaging vital organs. His justification? That “wife-beating should be therapeutic, not vindictive.”

“The purpose of wife beating is to warn the wife that the life of the family is in danger and that the marital relations are in danger,” the doctor said. “She needs to be cautious and not let the family be destroyed.”

He clarified that the beating should be symbolic yet real, with specific conditions and guidelines to follow. According to him, the aim of a husband beating his wife is not to seek revenge or cause harm, but rather to correct her behavior and safeguard the family. He emphasized that husbands should avoid striking women in sensitive areas like the face or vital organs. The beating, he insisted, should not be severe or motivated by malice.

“The husband beating his wife should be like a guy beating his sweetheart,” he said, referring to the saying “The beloved’s first is as sweet as raisins.”

“It’s like when a father beats his son or when a mother beats her daughter for doing something wrong,” he continued, arguing that the beating should be “therapeutic” to correct one’s wife.

Wu’s New Housing Plan: White, English-Speaking Neighborhoods Deemed ‘Low Priority’

If you worked hard, bought a home, speak English, and live in a quiet neighborhood — congratulations. You’re officially not a priority in Mayor Michelle Wu’s Boston.

That’s the takeaway from the Wu administration’s new 69 page “Anti-Displacement Action Plan,” which introduces a scoring system to decide who gets housing help and where the city should focus its efforts. Spoiler: it’s not on you.

Buried in the plan is a city-developed “Displacement Risk Map,” which flags neighborhoods by race, language, income, education level, and homeownership rates. Areas that are, in the city’s own words, “more white, more English-speaking” and filled with homeowners are marked “low risk” — and thus less deserving of city support.

Low-risk block groups are mainly concentrated in Charlestown, Downtown, North End, Seaport, West End, and West Roxbury. They tend to be whiter, and have higher proportions of college-educated, homeowning, and native English speaking residents.

— City of Boston Anti-Displacement Action Plan, 2025

In other words, if your neighborhood is too stable, speaks the wrong language, or just has too many people who finished college — don’t expect much from City Hall.
