Rep. Raskin in February: It’s Up to Congress to Disqualify Trump if He Wins

In February, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) told a group at the Politics and Prose bookstore in D.C. that if former President Donald Trump wins, Congress must disqualify him on January 6, 2025.

The comment happened before SCOTUS ruled on Trump’s eligibility for the ballot due to his supposed participation in an “insurrection.” Raskin knew the court wouldn’t disqualify Trump.

Raskin insisted that Section 3 of the 14th Amendment should keep Trump off the ballot. Section 3 was meant to prevent Confederates from holding federal office after the Civil War.

SCOTUS reinstated Trump to the Colorado ballot in March in a unanimous decision.

And the greatest example going on right now before our very eyes is Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment, which they’re just disappearing with a magic wand, as if it doesn’t exist, even though it could not be clearer what it’s stating. And so they want to kick it to Congress, so it’s going to be up to us on January 6, 2025, to tell the rampaging Trump mobs that he’s disqualified. And then we need bodyguards for everybody, and civil war conditions, all because the nine justices — not all of them, but these justices who have not many cases to look at every year, not that much work to do, a huge staff, great protection — simply do not want to do their job and interpret what the great Fourteenth Amendment means.

JUST IN: New Unredacted MI State Police Report Reveals Several Other Cities and States Where Shady Dem-Funded GBI Strategies Was Operating In 2020

In 2020, Democrat-funded GBI Strategies, a “canvassing operation ” allegedly owned and operated by Gary Bell, set up shop in Michigan.

Only one month before the 2020 election, the Muskegon Police Department received a call from the Muskegon City Clerk alerting them that she had received between 8,000 and 10,000 voter registrations in the mail from an address in Auburn Hills, MI, with the initials “EM,” an abbreviation for Empower Michigan, the name used by GBI Strategies while operating in Michigan.

Muskegon Clerk Ann Meisch called the police when she discovered that many voter registrations delivered to her office were fraudulent.

On the deadline to return voter registrations in Michigan, a GBI Strategies compliance officer, identified in the Michigan State Police report as Brianna Hawkins, turned in an additional 2,500.  After Muskegon Clerk Ann Meisch identified Ms. Hawkins on Facebook, the MSP began to follow her.

She was eventually pulled over by law enforcement. It was explained to Ms. Hawkins that she had a misdemeanor warrant for a previous marijuana charge and, subsequently, was asked to meet with the AG investigator to discuss her work with GBI Strategies/Empower MI. During the MI AG Investigator Stephen Morse’s interrogation, Ms. Hawkins admitted that at least 1,000 of the voter registrations she received from canvassers hired by GBI Strategies were fraudulent. She also explained that GBI Strategies/Empower Michigan was focused on registering voters in black-majority communities.

The MSP report shows GBI Strategies had “canvassers” working in several black-majority cities in Michigan, including Flint, Benton Harbor, Ypsilanti, Inkster, Southfield, Muskegon, Lansing, and Saginaw.

Elon Musk’s ‘Election Interference’

A “White Dudes for Harris” Zoom call reportedly raised $4 million in donations for Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign. After the call, the @dudes4Harris account on X was briefly suspended.

Is this election interference?

If we remain in reality, the answer is of course not.

Even if X CEO Elon Musk ordered the account suspended because of its politics, there would be no (legal) wrongdoing here. X is a private platform, and it doesn’t have any obligation to be politically neutral. Explicitly suppressing pro-Harris content would be a bad business model, surely, but it would not be illegal. Musk and the platform formerly known as Twitter have no obligation to equally air conservative and progressive views or give equal treatment to Republican and Democratic candidates.

But there’s no evidence that X was deliberately trying to thwart Harris organizers. The dudes4Harris account—which has no direct affiliation to the Harris campaign—was suspended after it promoted and held its Zoom call and was back the next day. That’s a pretty bad plan if the goal was to stop its influence or fundraising. And there are all sorts of legitimate reasons why X may have suspended the account.

The account’s suspension is “not that surprising,” writes Techdirt Editor in Chief Mike Masnick (who, it should be noted, is intensely critical of X policies and Musk himself on many issues). “Shouldn’t an account suddenly amassing a ton of followers with no clear official connection to the campaign and pushing people to donate maybe ring some internal alarm bells on any trust and safety team? It wouldn’t be a surprise if it tripped some guardwires and was locked and/or suspended briefly while the account was reviewed. That’s how this stuff works.”

If we step out of reality into the partisan hysteria zone, however, then the account’s temporary suspension was clearly an attempt by Musk to sway the 2024 election.

Virginia Democrat Councilman Charged With Election Fraud, Illegal Voting

Police arrested a Virginia Democrat this week on felony charges of election and voter fraud.

Blacksburg Town Councilman Liam Watson, a 24-year-old Democrat operative, allegedly committed three counts of election fraud and one count of illegal voting in an election in August 2023, according to online court records. The Montgomery County grand jury “handed up” the charges on Tuesday, and Watson turned himself in to the Virginia State Police (VSP) on Wednesday, according to VSP Public Relations Director Corinne Geller.

“The United States Postal Inspection Service assisted the Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation with this matter,” Geller said in an email. “The investigation remains ongoing.”

Watson allegedly “feloniously and intentionally” made false statements or entries last year on his Virginia voter registration application, on a statement of organization candidate committee, and on a declaration of candidacy form, according to indictments obtained by The Federalist. He also allegedly “feloniously and intentionally” voted in an election in which “he was not qualified to vote.”

All of the crimes were allegedly committed in Montgomery County, which contains the town of Blacksburg.

America’s Palace Coup

On Sunday, July 21 at around 1:30pm Eastern time someone with access to President Joe Biden’s social media accounts posted that he was dropping out of the presidential election. The announcement was not on any form of official stationary and the signature was obviously different than usual when compared by the untrained eye. Just the night before, Joe Biden’s social media accounts had insisted he was staying in the game, though he was “in isolation” due to allegedly testing positive for COVID (something which people still inexplicably do). It didn’t take any great insight to see that America’s stuffed corpse had finally been given the shepherd’s crook. Around a half hour later, the Biden accounts posted that he would be endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris—the only person in American public life less coherent than Joe Biden—for president. While we have been joking about necromancers and Weekend at Bernie’s and the “They” Biden refers to as being in charge for years, in some ways it feels like it became true all at once. For all of this, at least thus far, we are meant to believe that Biden will be continuing through the end of his term as president; but there is no mistaking it, there has been a palace coup at the White House.

It has been a long road to this point, and I should not make any predictions given my track record on Joe Biden. In 2020 I was sure no one would vote for him in the primaries, and it certainly seemed that way until he won the fourth contest in South Carolina, and most of the rest of the field besides Bernie Sanders dropped out so the party could “come together.” Of course, it was at about this time that Donald Trump allowed the COVID madness to be unleashed and destroy the end of his presidency. When Trump couldn’t close the Pandora’s Box he had opened, Biden had an excuse to campaign from his basement. They managed to keep Biden out of the public eye as much as possible while Donald Trump ran a mostly normal campaign. I was sure he wouldn’t win the general election, and we could argue all day about last minute rule changes and if the election was fair, but one way or another, Biden was carried across the finish line and became the president of the United States.

It has been an ignominious term in office. 2020 was an indecisive election, and any normal political party would have sought to govern moderately and spend time selling America on their agenda for the midterms. Instead, Democrats set to re-shape American on the smallest of margins, taking Franklin Roosevelt, who once had over 75% of the House, as their model. More than anything they did this by refusing to enforce immigration laws, leading to an unprecedented number of humans being let into our country. However, they did hammer through the inappropriately named “Inflation Reduction Act,” which was a substantial spending package to get through on such a small legislative majority. Still, the term was primarily defined by a wide range of disgraces, not just Biden’s constant confusion but also the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, the mandate for vaccines that didn’t work, the notorious trans freak show at the White House, and of course the confirmation that the Hunter Biden laptop was real and the president’s son is a depraved crackhead. Still, for all of this we were told Joe Biden was in charge and that it was some sort of conspiracy theory to think this obviously failing man was not running the show (to whatever limited extent Presidents are normally in charge).

Inside the plot to gaslight Americans about Kamala and re-write her story… and it starts with insisting she was never ‘Border Czar’ or the ‘most liberal’ Senator 

Vice President Kamala Harris and her team plan to refute that she was ever in charge of the migration crisis at the southern border.

It comes as Republicans are set to make Harris’ role as Joe Biden‘s ‘border czar’ one of their main points of attack in her battle for the White House with Donald Trump.

As Democratic strategists try to reinvent Harris’ record for the campaign a government transparency organization also deleted a webpage which had declared her the most liberal Democrat in the Senate .

Immigration and the border was Harris’ first big task as vice president and House Republicans on Thursday passed a resolution condemning her leadership on the issue.

In March 2021, President Joe Biden and his administration were already struggling with an escalating immigration crisis.

Migrants were pouring across the southern border, detention centers filled up with unaccompanied minors, and stories about ‘kids in cages’ began filtering into the public consciousness.

Jen Psaki, the White House press secretary at the time, repeatedly insisted that it was ‘not a crisis’. 

Republicans hammered Biden’s lack of enforcement, demanding that the president take the issue seriously and visit the border.

The White House felt it necessary to do something, some kind of sign to the public and the media that the president was tackling the problem.

To stave off criticism Team Biden offered up Vice President Kamala Harris as the solution.

The president and vice president stood together in the State Dining Room of the White House as Biden announced his intention to put Harris in charge of the migrant crisis.

Her chief goal, Biden stated, was to lead the diplomatic effort with Mexico and Central American countries to address the ‘root causes’ of migration.

‘I can think of nobody who — who is better qualified to do this,’ Biden said, citing Harris’ record as a California Attorney General.

It was not an unfamiliar task, Biden noted, recalling that as vice president, he had stepped up for President Barack Obama to work with leaders to stem migration on the southern border.

A former candidate for Maine governor is disbarred over possessing images of child sexual abuse

 Eliot Cutler, a wealthy attorney who came close to being elected governor has been disbarred following the completion of his sentence for possessing thousands of images of child sexual abuse, officials said.

A judge on Monday signed off on the Maine Board of Overseers of the Bar recommendation that the 77-year-old Cutler should no longer practice law. Cutler did not oppose the board’s decision, which was made months ago. He was previously disbarred in New York.

The criminal case marked a dramatic fall for Cutler, who launched a Washington-based environmental law firm after serving as an aide to Sen. Edmund Muskie and as the top energy and environmental adviser to President Jimmy Carter.

Maine Dem congresswoman rails against climate change… despite making VERY hypocritical choices in her private life

A Maine congresswoman has shared a video of herself railing against climate change, despite enjoying luxurious, carbon-spewing flights on a private jet. 

Chellie Pingree, 69, shared a video of herself addressing the House of Representatives during a talk on climate change earlier this week. 

In it, the Democrat Maine representative speaks of her worries of what the world will be like for her children and seven grandchildren. 

But after sharing the video to her social media on Wednesday afternoon, Pingree was labelled a ‘hypocrite’ after having previously traveled on a private jet. 

Pingree was caught on camera disembarking the jet of her then husband and hedge fund manager S. Donald Sussman in 2010. 

The Maine Wire replied to Pingree sharing her views on battling climate change with the video, saying: ‘A private jet can emit more CO2 in one hour than the average Mainer’s annual output.’

In her video, Pingree said: ‘I don’t know if you have children or grandchildren, but I worry about what the future will be for my children and my seven grandchildren. 

‘I don’t want them to come to me someday and say, ‘Hey Grandma, what were you doing when we needed to do something about this?.

‘What were you doing when we needed to prevent the climate change that is upon us today? 

‘Were you just sitting there with you eyes closed and pretending it didn’t exist using a bunch of jargon, quoting social media and some memes you saw somewhere. 

‘Or were you talking about scientific fact, and really doing things to invest in our children and grandchildren’s future.’

According to The Washington Examiner, Pingree was caught disembarking the corporate charter jet by the conservative website Maine Watchdog. 

In the footage, Pingree disembarked from the airplane onto a red carpet after the plane touched down at Portland airport in Maine. 

At the time of the incident, Pingree said that criticism of her use of the corporate jet was politically motivated.

BLM blasts Dems as ‘party of hypocrites’ for ‘installing’ Kamala without ‘public voting process’

The far-left activist organization Black Lives Matter is calling out Democrats for anointing Vice President Kamala Harris as the party’s presumptive nominee for president without voter’s getting a chance to actually vote. They are calling on the Democratic National Convention “to create a process that allows for public participation in the nomination process, not just a nomination by party delegates.”
 
On Tuesday, the radical group that was responsible for much of the riots and unrest across the US in the summer of 2020, said in a statement, “A 24-hour process of talking to party bosses is not democratic, nor is it a process Democrats should be proud of.” House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries insisted that Harris was not a installed by the party “top down,” but that “she earned the nomination from the grassroots.”

BLM, which is the grassroots, called out the party for refusing to host debates during the primary which would have “likely allowed America to see the decline of Joe Biden.”

It also slammed Democrats for changing “the primary schedule and created ruled that made it almost impossible for non-Biden candidates to appear on the ballot effectively clearing the field of any challengers.”

The group also said that “after one poor debate performance, The DNC’s elites and billionaire donors bullied Joe Biden out of the race.” BLM also accused the Democratic party of eroding democracy. “We do not live in a dictatorship. Delegates are not oligarchs. Installing Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee and an unknown vice president without any public voting process would make the modern Democratic Party a party of hypocrites,” the group added. 

The group then demanded that the party it usually aligns with “…immediately host an informal, virtual snap primary across the country prior to the DNC convention in August.”

The Party Of ‘Democracy” Will Now Choose Your Candidate For You

On Sunday, July 21, President Biden dropped out of the 2024 presidential campaign via a text-only post on Twitter/X.

Less than an hour later, Biden – also via a text-only post on Twitter/X – endorsed vice president Kamala Harris for the presidency. 

Thus, in just a few minutes, the ruling party in Washington completely erased the primary election process from one of the country’s major parties.

That is, the same Democratic party that tells us it is the party of “democracy” just completely cut ordinary voters out of the selection process for the Democratic nominee. 

Instead, the Democratic nominee in 2024 will be chosen by a small group of elite party insiders. We’re told there will be an “open convention” in Chicago to choose the nominee, but all that means is that that there is no pre-determined nominee going into the convention. In any case, however, the nominee will be chosen by delegates and superdelegates (i.e., wealthy party elites like Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama) behind closed doors. 

The Democratic party’s efforts to circumvent the primary process are quite remarkable for a ruling coalition that lectured the general public endlessly in 2020 about how Donald Trump was allegedly a “threat to democracy” and how “democracy is on the ballot.”

Yet, this is what we’ve come to expect from political elites who use the term “democracy” as a propaganda term. For these people, the term has no objective meaning, it just means “something we like.” “Anti-democratic,” in contrast, just means “something we don’t like.”

Moreover, its use as a propaganda term can be seen in the way that “democracy” is used in the same way as “revolutionary” by Marxist regimes. In such cases “revolutionary” is code for “in favor of the ruling elites” and “something we like.” Similarly, the opposite of “democracy” in a Marxist regime is “counterrevolutionary” or “bourgeois.” Those terms were essentially code for “against the ruling party” and “thing we don’t like.” 

Such terms have no actual content in the usual sense of a word.  Thus, the term “democracy” simply means “good” and “not democratic” means “evil.”
