“We’re Gonna Win Someday”: Graham Platner Suspends His Senate Campaign

Graham Platner, the Democratic Party nominee for U.S. Senate in Maine, announced Wednesday that he’s suspending his campaign. The move comes two days after Politico reported allegations of rape against him by a former girlfriend. He posted an emotional video explaining his decision.

“And I just want to make it clear this is all false,” Platner said.

“The things that have been claimed did not happen; it’s not real.”

He described the past few days as an ordeal no regular person should have to survive, a normal guy suddenly thrust into a spotlight he says he never wanted. He accused the media and the political establishment of skipping the investigation entirely and jumping straight to a verdict.

“I learned about this through press inquiries with no time to truly respond, no time for investigations before a corporate media system and the political establishment got to act as judge, jury and executioner,” he said.

“Accusations are supposed to be the beginning of things, not the end.”

Platner claimed the allegations surfaced now for a specific reason. His official nomination locks in on July 13, and he says this was the last window anyone had to knock him off the ballot before that happened.

“I only have until July 13th until I am officially the nominee. This was the last week to try to get me off of the ballot, and that’s why this is occurring,” he said.

He argued the real threat was never the allegations themselves, but what the political establishment plans to do with them. Cut off his fundraising. Cut off his voter data. Starve the campaign of everything it needs simply to function. He made his read on their real preference painfully clear.

“They would rather see Susan Collins win than have me be the next senator from Maine,” he said.

He leaned heavily on his June 9 primary win, in which he pulled in more votes than any primary candidate in Maine’s history, to argue that whatever happens next should be decided by voters, not party insiders in Washington.

“It needs to be open, transparent, and Democratic,” he said.

“Party apparatchiks are not the ones to make these decisions.”

Then, the announcement itself.

“We are suspending campaign operations,” Platner said, adding that he intends to file paperwork to formally withdraw from the race.

He framed the decision as anything but an admission of guilt; instead, he blamed outside forces for making it impossible for the campaign to continue functioning, even after beating what he called one of the most entrenched political systems in the world just weeks earlier.

“We went toe-to-toe with one of the most entrenched political systems in the history of the world, and we won,” Platner said.

“We beat them on June 9th in overwhelming numbers.”

Before signing off, he insisted the movement, and the ballot line his name currently occupies, still belongs to the voters who built it, not to party leadership in Washington.

“But now the ball is in the court of the democratic establishment,” Platner said.

“My name might be on the ballot right now, but that ballot line belongs to the people of Maine.”

Platner closed by thanking his supporters.

“From the bottom of my heart, thank you,” Platner said. “Thank all of you and keep fighting. We’re gonna win someday.”

Ex-Girlfriend of Graham Platner Calls Out NYT’s Claim They ‘Could Not Corroborate’ Allegations: Victim Says They Ignored Her Evidence and Witnesses

Scandals surrounding Maine Democrat Senate candidate Graham Platner continue to unfold.

On Monday, The Gateway Pundit reported that rumors are swirling that he will drop out of the race after he abruptly canceled multiple town hall events ahead of a new damaging hit piece.

Later Monday, Politico released the latest Platner sex scandal regarding a woman who said that he raped her.

Following the latest scandal, some of his prior backers, including Democrat Senator Ruben Gallego and Democrat Rep Ro Khanna, withdrew their endorsements.

One of his prior girlfriends, 40-year-old Lyndsey Fifield, a Virginia conservative who dated Platner between 2013 and 2015, called him “cavalierly contemptuous of women’s emotions, of our ‘weakness.’

On Tuesday, Fifield addressed questionable reporting by The New York Times in their coverage of Platner and their claim that they “could not corroborate” the allegations, at least where she was concerned.

Fifield describes, in detail, the multiple contacts she provided to the outlet that could corroborate her timeline, as well as specific incidents detailing disturbing behavior.  She provided friends, former roommates, and even other men she dated.

DISGRACEFUL: Far-Left Virginia Democrat Elaine Luria Dismisses Horrifying Rape Accusation Against Fellow Dem Graham Platner As Just A ‘Shiny New Thing’

The radical left’s “Believe All Women” mantra has officially been exposed as a total fraud yet again.

Former Congresswoman Elaine Luria had the audacity to dismiss explosive sexual assault allegations against Maine Democrat Senate candidate Graham Platner as nothing more than a Republican “boogeyman” and “shiny new thing” designed to scare people.

In an interview, Luria, who is running to reclaim Virginia’s 2nd Congressional District seat, brushed off the bombshell claims against her fellow Democrat while insisting she’s “singularly focused on this district” and her “proven record.”

Here’s what Luria said:

“I’m singularly focused on this district, the message of what’s important to people here in Virginia’s 2nd Congressional District. And they’re always going to try to find a boogeyman and tie, you know, the Democrat to whatever shiny new thing is going to scare people. But the truth is, is I have a proven record in Congress and I’m focused on listening to, supporting, and then representing those people across this district.”

BEYOND PARODY: Candidate Maine Leftists Want to Replace Graham Platner With Has Allegations Against HIM TOO

With the latest allegations against Graham Platner, Democrats in Maine are scrambling to find a candidate to replace him on the ballot this fall.

One name that has been floated is Troy Jackson, a far left Maine Democrat who also ran for governor of the state.

There’s just one problem. There are allegations of assault against a woman by Troy Jackson too. You could not make this up.

Amazingly, the allegations against Jackson were uncovered and published by a leftist group which doesn’t want Democrats to make the same mistake they did with Platner.

Breitbart News reports:

Leftist Group Reveals Troubling Allegation Against Potential Platner Replacement

The far-left group Progressive Victory is unveiling a troubling allegation against a potential candidate to replace Democrat Graham Platner in Maine’s U.S. Senate race, alleging that this individual “struck a female colleague with a bottle he threw at her” during a disagreement, corroborated by several witnesses…

Given this, the far-left group Progressive Victory is seeking out other candidates. However, they have run into some trouble with one possibility, Troy Jackson, former president of the Maine Senate…

“In our discussions we have received troubling information about not only Jackson’s behavior, but the behavior of many prominent Maine Democrats toward women more broadly,” it continued, revealing that Jackson allegedly struck a female colleague with a bottle. “Both as a result of the credibility of the sources and in the interest of not seeing our movement make the same mistake twice, we are choosing to share some of this now.”

“As Maine Senate President in a state senate caucus meeting several years ago, Troy Jackson in a heated disagreement struck a female colleague with a bottle he threw at her,” the group said. “There are many witnesses, and it appears this is a widespread open secret within Maine politics and not an isolated incident. This information is still developing and we will provide updates in a thread in the comments of this post as we receive it.”

Left wing activists must have come after this group for badmouthing Troy Jackson, because they have taken the posts down and added an update with an apology.

Dana Perino Just Exposed the Real Reason Democrats Turned on Graham Platner

I’ve been a fan of Dana Perino since she served as White House press secretary for George W. Bush, and boy, did she nail it on The Five Tuesday while talking about the Graham Platner situation.

Platner’s campaign is imploding after Politico reported a sexual assault allegation against him on Monday. Even though Platner calls the allegation “categorically untrue,” establishment Democrats are finally ready to cut him loose, because, you know, everything else that had come out about him apparently wasn’t enough.

Perino zeroed in on how The New York Times handled the story before it exploded. She explained that the accuser handed the paper five sources to corroborate her account. The Times contacted only two of them, who vouched for her character, and left it there.

“They didn’t call the other three, the other three who had the contemporaneous notes from when she had detailed it,” Perino said. “So the New York Times, they call it like a catch and kill thing, right? There’s like, oh, let’s try to bury this.”

Then Perino raised the question Democrats would prefer nobody ask. “So when did the Democrats actually start to care?” she said. The answer had nothing to do with conscience. I’ve said before that this had nothing to do with the allegations and everything to do with the polls. Perino agrees.

“It’s because the recent polling shows that Graham Platner was going to lose to Susan Collins,” Perino said. “And they thought, wow, we only have two weeks to figure this out.”

Labor Union Leader: Execute Democrats Who Break with Graham Platner via Firing Squad

Andy O’Brien, the communications director for the Maine AFL-CIO, a statewide federation of 160 local unions, posted on social media, suggesting Democrats who refuse to support Democrat U.S. Senate nominee Graham Platner should face execution after a “revolution.”

O’Brien shared a link to a the Hill opinion piece titled, “I’m a Democratic Strategist. I Won’t Stay Silent About Graham Platner,” by Democrat strategist Laurie A. Watkins. Watkins wrote that a career spent fighting for Democratic causes does not mean blindly supporting every candidate with a “D” by their name.

O’Brien’s response was brutal, saying political consultants like Watkins would be “first up against the wall when the revolution comes.”

Before supporting Platner, O’Brien was known for publicly calling out people he accused of holding extremist or neo-Nazi views.

After facing backlash, O’Brien said the post was meant as a joke referencing a science fiction novel, not a call for violence. He apologized to anyone offended and said he never intended to suggest harming people over their political views.

Graham Platner Hit with Yet Another Controversy Over Graphic Reddit Comments

Maine Democrat Senate candidate Graham Platner is facing yet more scrutiny after archived social media posts surfaced containing graphic remarks, controversial political statements, and comments about military veterans.

The posts, recovered from Platner’s former Reddit account and reviewed by multiple outlets, remained accessible through internet archives despite efforts to remove much of his online activity. Among the material drawing attention was a response Platner posted in 2014 to an online discussion asking users to share offensive jokes.

Under the username P-Hustle, Platner responded to a Reddit prompt asking users to share “the most f*cked up, jaw-dropping, offensive joke you know?”

Platner replied with a joke that referenced incest, bestiality, and necrophilia.

“I was eating out my grandmother and it tasted like horse cum,” Platner wrote. “So that’s how she died…”

Additional archived posts showed Platner making sexually explicit remarks in various online discussions. In one thread, he wrote about associating the smell of portable toilets with masturbation. In another, he praised a drawing of male genitalia using graphic language.

One of the posts that generated significant attention dated back to 2013, when Platner weighed in on a discussion thread titled “shorts that prevent you from being raped.”

Responding to the post, Platner said:

Holy fuck, how about people just take some responsibility for themselves and not get so fucked up they wind up having sex with someone they don’t mean to? Men and women, you make a choice to consume enough of a substance to lose your self control. So if you don’t want to be in a comprising situation, act like an adult for fucks sake.

The recovered comments extend beyond sexual content. Platner also discussed his political beliefs on the platform, including describing his path toward communism. Other posts expressed support for Hamas’s military tactics and included remarks directed at a recipient of the Purple Heart that critics viewed as hostile toward wounded veterans.

Separate reports have highlighted an account bearing a username similar to Platner’s on the messaging application Kik. The platform has previously faced criticism by child-protection advocates and anti-exploitation organizations over its use by online predators. The profile reportedly featured a photograph of a man identified as Platner wearing only a towel.

Platner’s campaign has faced repeated scrutiny over allegations involving his personal conduct and past relationships. Lyndsey Fifield, a former partner, accused Platner of physically aggressive behavior during their time together. According to her account, he allegedly gripped her with enough force to leave bruises, confined her to a room following a dispute, and forcibly removed her from a taxi by pulling her wrists.

Separate reports alleged that Platner exchanged sexually explicit communications with multiple women during the first years of his marriage. Questions also arose over a tattoo previously displayed on Platner’s body that featured the Totenkopf, a symbol historically associated with Nazi organizations. Platner later obscured the tattoo with new artwork.

Graham Platner Mocked Teen’s Unsuccessful Suicide Attempt in Resurfaced Reddit Post

Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner is under fresh scrutiny after a resurfaced Reddit post appeared to show him mocking a teenage girl’s suicide attempt.

The post from May 2012, obtained by The New York Post, featured a photograph of a teenage girl hanging from an upper-story window while several students attempted to pull her to safety.

“A girl at my old highschool [sic] tried jumping from a window because her cousin died the day before,” the caption read. “These students saved her. I have hope.”

According to screenshots circulating online, an account identified as “P-Hustle” responded with the comment: “Someone clearly isn’t trying hard enough.”

The resurfaced post is the latest in a growing series of controversies surrounding the Maine Democrat, who recently won his primary election.

Other archived Reddit comments attributed to Platner have drawn criticism in recent weeks.

These have included posts in which he allegedly mocked a wounded Purple Heart recipient, praised a Hamas attack on Israeli soldiers and made graphic comments about his personal behavior.

Graham Platner cheated on fiancée and bragged Nazi tattoo was reminder ‘US was the evil bad guy,’ lover tells Post

Maine Senate nominee Graham Platner kept his hideous Nazi tattoo to remind himself “the US was the evil bad guy overseas,” according to an ex-girlfriend with whom he cheated on his fiancée in 2021.

The left-wing streamer, who spoke to The Post, is the second woman to say that Platner knew about the fascist origin of his Totenkopf skull and crossbones tattoo — despite his claims that he didn’t realize it was a Third Reich symbol until last fall.

Her assertions were backed up by texts reviewed by The Post that she’d sent to her mom in September 2025 in which she blasted him for his “Nazi tattoo,” “small d—k” and claims that he tarnished her reputation by using her to step out on his fiancée.

The woman also offered allegations Platner cheated on a second partner before his current wife — a now-ex-fiancée he was engaged to around that time.

“As a person who is a leftist, I immediately looked at him and asked him, ‘Is that a Totenkopf?’ and he told me a whole, ‘he will hold this weight forever’ bravado sob story about how it was, but he decided to keep it as a reminder that the United States was the evil, bad guy overseas,” she recounted.

Anti-Marijuana Ballot Campaigns In Maine And Massachusetts Accused Of ‘Fraudulent’ And ‘Misleading’ Petitioning Tactics

Campaigns that are working to put measures to roll back marijuana legalization on the ballot in two states are facing accusations of “fraudulent” and “misleading” signature gathering tactics—and not for the first time.

Now, however, new social media posts from both states appear to show signature collectors for each measure arguing that people who support legal cannabis access should sign the petitions in order to advance or protect marijuana reform.

A video posted to Reddit of a signature gatherer for the Massachusetts proposal—which would repeal state laws allowing the regulated commercial sales of recreational marijuana while maintaining legal possession and continuing the medical cannabis system—shows the man collecting signatures outside a supermarket next to a sign that says “keep cannabis legal.”

When confronted by a marijuana reform supporter who recorded the petitioner’s interactions with voters, he appeared to be trying to convince them that it is important to qualify the anti-cannabis measure for the ballot in order to then defeat it.

“This is what we’re fighting against right here. That’s why we vote no,” he said. “If we can get this to the ballot right here, we vote no.”

The person who captured the video pointed out that Massachusetts voters already approved marijuana legalization years ago, and that the only way it could be imminently repealed is if the new ballot measure qualified for the November election. If the initiative does not get enough signatures to go before voters, the state’s laws will remain the same.

“It’s my job,” the petitioner insisted, however. “I know what I’m talking about.”

“It’s a group of rich folks from out of state that want to basically take marijuana to when it was a medical marijuana card,” he said. “We don’t want that to happen.”
