Autistic “Barbie” Doll Celebrates Neuropsychiatric Illness Among Children

“Normalization” is a process where something that is not normal is fashioned and presented in a way in which over time the public accepts it as usual and more conducive to business activities. This is exactly what’s happening with autism spectrum disorder. Alter AI is on the assist with this story.

Mattel’s “Autistic Barbie” and the Normalization of Neuropsychiatric Disorders

Mattel has launched its first autistic Barbie doll, part of its ongoing Fashionistas line that promotes “diversity and inclusion.” The doll, unveiled in January 2026, was designed in partnership with the Autistic Self Advocacy Network (ASAN) and aims to reflect how autistic individuals experience and process the world. USA Today reports the collaboration lasted over 18 months, involving consultations with self-advocates and researchers to imbue the doll with “authentic” autistic traits rather than caricatures.

The doll’s design elements mirror common sensory experiences among people on the autism spectrum. These include jointed wrists and elbows to allow for stimming (repetitive movements or gestures used to self-regulate), a sidelong gaze to represent aversion to direct eye contact, noise-canceling headphones, a fidget spinner, and a tablet displaying Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) apps used by those with speech or sensory-processing challenges. The outfit—a flowy pinstripe A-line dress—minimizes fabric contact irritation, and flat shoes are meant to promote balance and comfort.

Mattel positions the doll as a celebration of autonomy and inclusion for autistic children, arguing that it allows “young autistic people to see authentic, joyful representations of themselves.” To amplify that message, the company enlisted several social‑media personalities and public figures diagnosed with autism. The rollout echoes previous Barbie releases featuring dolls with Down syndrome, prosthetics, vitiligo, and diabetes—each intended to “mirror the world kids see.”

Dem Rep. Vindman: ‘Irony’ with Iranians Protesting, ‘What We See with ICE’ in U.S.

On Tuesday’s broadcast of “CNN News Central,” Rep. Eugene Vindman (D-VA) said that the United States should “support the Iranian people in their struggle for freedom and independence.” And the Iranian people are “protesting, largely peacefully, on the streets, and they’re being attacked and murdered. And I think there’s an irony, obviously, in what we see with ICE on America’s streets.”

Vindman said, “Well, first of all, I think we all recognize that the Iranian regime is an authoritarian regime that is suppressing its people. And I recognize that in my own family experience, we fled from a Communist authoritarian regime, and we need to support the Iranian people in their struggle for freedom and independence. They’re protesting, largely peacefully, on the streets, and they’re being attacked and murdered. And I think there’s an irony, obviously, in what we see with ICE on America’s streets.”

He continued, “But just to stay focused on Iran, I think it means putting enormous pressure on the regime so they recognize that suppressing their own population through violence is not going to work.”

House Oversight to hold Bill Clinton in contempt of Congress

Former President Bill Clinton is now facing Contempt of Congress charges after failing to appear for his scheduled deposition regarding the Jeffrey Epstein investigation.

The House Oversight Committee sent out a press release on Tuesday, noting that Chairman Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., delivered remarks after the deposition appointment. He called the Epstein case a bipartisan matter and expressed frustration that none of the democrats in office attended the deposition. “Not a single Democrat showed up today. Not a single Democrat—the ones who have press conferences on the Capitol steps and talk about how they’re trying to get justice for the victims and all that.”

He declared that Clinton will face a Contempt of Congress markup next week.

During an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News, and shared on X, Comer called out the hypocrisy of Democrat leaders for holding former White House official Peter Navarro and former advisor to President Donald Trump, Steve Bannon in Contempt of Congress for refusing to testify before the questionable Jan. 6 Select Committee, while remaining silent when powerful Democrats like the Clintons to the same.

Hannity cited an eight-page letter that Clinton’s lawyers sent Comer, which stated, “President and Secretary Clinton have already provided the limited information they possess about Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell to the Committee.” The letter claimed that the subpoenas are an attempt to embarrass Republicans’ “political rivals.”

Woke Council VP Turns City Into Sanctuary Grocery Service for Illegal Aliens

A St. Paul city official is facing intense criticism after publicly encouraging residents to assist illegal aliens in avoiding federal immigration enforcement, including by delivering groceries, escorting workers, and reporting the movements of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

St. Paul City Council Vice President Hwa Jeong Kim posted a video to social media urging residents to resist ICE activity in the city following an increase in federal enforcement operations.

The video, which was shared on Kim’s Instagram account and later circulated widely across other platforms, prompted swift backlash from critics who accused the council member of promoting interference with federal law enforcement.

In the video, Kim claimed that federal immigration agents had already taken several individuals into custody earlier in the day.

“It’s not even noon, and ICE has already kidnapped five of my neighbors. I’ve responded to one where we believe a whole family was taken with children,” Kim said.

Kim went on to assert that the presence of federal agents in Minnesota had surpassed that of local law enforcement.

“There are more federal agents in Minnesota than we have of the St. Paul and Minneapolis police combined. And yet, there are neighbors that are showing up in incredible ways like standing in front of known targeted businesses helping escort workers home,” she continued.

Bank Sues Former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot for Refusing to Pay Bill for 17 Months

JPMorgan Chase Bank is suing former Chicago Democrat Mayor Lori Lightfoot for letting her $11K credit card bill go unpaid for 17 months.

The media has learned that Lightfoot, who became the first Democrat Chicago Mayor not reelected to city hall in about 40 years, was served with a subpoena at her $900,000 Chicago home in October, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Chase ultimately decided in March that her $11,000 bill would be a charge-off, but her last payment of $5,000 on the debt was made on August 7, 2024, according to the bank’s records.

The bank reported that Lightfoot has had the card since 2005.

Lightfoot seems to be struggling to pay her bills despite claiming $402,414 in adjusted gross income in 2021 alone. The Tribune also notes that records show Lightfoot took out $210,000 in early distributions from her retirement account. She also earned $216,000 during each of her four years in office.

The ex-mayor seemed to have just as much trouble paying the bills for the city when she was mayor. As she was headed out of office in 2024, for instance, the city was suffering under an $85 million budget shortfall.

Lightfoot’s next appearance in court for her credit card debt is scheduled late this year.

They Trained Us How to Hide Kids’ Gender Changes from Mom and Dad: Teacher Whistleblower

A former public school teacher in Olympia, Washington, says educators were instructed to conceal sensitive student information from parents, including changes to gender identity and pronouns, during his time working in the Olympia School District.

Ryan Defant, who now teaches at Evergreen Christian School in Olympia, made the claims while describing his experience as a teacher at Centennial Elementary.

Defant said that during multiple staff meetings, teachers were trained on how to use internal systems to keep certain student information hidden from parents.

“My name is Ryan Defant right now. I’m currently teaching at Evergreen Christian school, and I live in Olympia, Washington. I used to work at Centennial Elementary in the Olympia School District, and I can recall several staff meetings where we were trained and showed how we can hide information from parents using our skyward program,” Defant said.

Skyward is a widely used student information system that allows families to access grades, attendance records, and other school-related information.

According to Defant, teachers were instructed on how to enter data into the system in a way that blocked parental access.

“Skyward program was where we did our grades and attendance and information for families to access, but we had a teacher, and a couple teachers actually train us on how we can input information into skyward that was behind a wall that parents couldn’t access,” he said.

Germany’s Latest War on Freedom

There is no censorship here in Germany,” according to Steffen Meyer, a top spokesman for the German government. In reality, Germans have freedom of speech except for ideas that politicians and government contractors and nonprofit activists don’t like. Germany is providing a road map for freedom that can be squashed throughout the Western world.

Germany was the scene of some of the 20th century’s worst tyranny but today’s German leaders have only noble intentions for oppression. Berlin’s Best and Brightest™ “improved” democracy by turning politicians into a privileged caste. After a conservative editor mocked a top German law enforcement official by posting a meme showing her holding a sign, “I hate freedom of opinion,” he was convicted and sentenced to seven months in jail for “abuse, slander or defamation against persons in political life.” The editor is on probation while the sentence is suspended but many other Germans have been locked up for similar offenses.

The US State Department Human Rights Report stated that German police “routinely raided homes, confiscated electronic devices, interrogated suspects and prosecuted individuals for the exercise of freedom of speech, including online.” German Chancellor Friedrich Merz personally filed almost 5,000 complaints against his online critics, sometimes resulting in police raids against people he accused.

The German media are gung-ho for government censorship of average Germans. TheNew York Times noted, “Authorities in Lower Saxony raid homes up to multiple times per month, sometimes with a local television crew in tow.”  The Times reported that in 2022, “Christian Endt, a journalist in Berlin whose coverage of Covid drew a steady stream of insults online, reached a breaking point. After an anonymous Twitter user had called him ‘stupid’ and mentally ill, he embarked on a mission to see if he could get the person prosecuted.”

The Twitter account didn’t have a real name but Endt used an image search of his picture and tracked it down to a small-business owner. Local prosecutors fined that guy more than a thousand dollars. Endt told the New York Times, “I was not even sure if what this guy wrote was a crime or not. In the end, I’m happy they did something about it and this person got a signal that there are some limits on free speech.” But is there no limit to the cowardliness of some German journalists? Publicly admitting that you ran crying to the authorities after some dweeb called you stupid and crazy makes a journalist unfit for writing about anything that offends anyone.

Assaults On ICE Are ‘Highly Coordinated,’ While Local Law Enforcement Told to Stand Down

The Department of Homeland Security has surged federal law enforcement personnel into Minneapolis amid what officials describe as a sharp escalation in violence against officers operating in the city, which has been designated a sanctuary jurisdiction, according to DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin.

McLaughlin said the deployment was necessary because sanctuary policies in Minneapolis and the state of Minnesota restrict cooperation between federal agents and local law enforcement, leaving DHS officers exposed while carrying out immigration enforcement operations.

“So what’s happening with Minneapolis and the state of Minnesota is it is a sanctuary city, so DHS law enforcement, we’re not allowed to engage with their local law enforcement,” McLaughlin said.

“We’re not allowed in their jails, and local law enforcement are not allowed to respond to backup to our officers.”

According to McLaughlin, those restrictions have coincided with what she described as a coordinated campaign of violence against federal officers.

“So what we’ve been seeing is a highly coordinated campaign of violence against our law enforcement officers,” she said.

Justice Jackson Outdoes Herself With Complete Nonsense Of An Opinion

Leave it to the woman who doesn’t know what a woman is to decide if men belong in women’s sports.

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson stumbled through oral argument Tuesday in the case of West Virginia v. B.P.J. The case concerns “[w]hether Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 prevents a state from consistently designating girls’ and boys’ sports teams based on biological sex determined at birth,” and “whether the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment prevents a state from offering separate boys’ and girls’ sports teams based on biological sex determined at birth,” according to SCOTUSblog.

Biological sex is indeed “determined,” as in, “ascertained,” not “assigned.”

Jackson described her understanding of the issue at hand to West Virginia Solicitor General Michael Williams.

“You have the overarching classification, you know, everybody has to be, um, uh, play on the team that is the same as their sex at birth, um, but then you have a gender identity definition that is operating within that, meaning, a distinction, meaning that um, for, uh, cisgender girls they can play consistent with their gender identity, for transgender girls, they can’t,” said Jackson.

Jackson distinguishes between “sex” and “gender identity” as though the latter is a category deserving of equal consideration. “Gender identity” only means “a particular feeling I have about myself.” If that feeling leads one to make unreasonable demands, it is perfectly reasonable to toss those demands in the trash.

Dr. Oz on MN Fraud: ‘We Are Taking the Largest Action of Its Kind Ever in Medicaid History’

Dr. Oz announced what he described as the largest enforcement action in Medicaid history, saying his administration has begun demanding financial documentation from states and deferring hundreds of millions of dollars in payments amid concerns about fraud and improper spending.

According to Dr. Oz, the move requires states to submit detailed receipts for Medicaid expenditures, with a significant portion of funding potentially withheld while reviews are conducted.

“So we are taking the largest action of its kind ever in Medicaid history, by asking the state to give us all the receipts, and we’re going to defer could be hundreds of millions of dollars,” Dr. Oz said. “A quarter of money that’s not going to go to the state.”

Dr. Oz specifically addressed criticism from Minnesota’s congressional delegation, pushing back on claims that the action would harm residents.

He said the state has sufficient financial reserves to absorb the impact.

“Now I just heard all that belly aching from Congressman and Congresswoman from Minnesota,” Dr. Oz said.
