Trump’s Promise to Bomb Iran ‘Like Never Before’ Faces Brutal Logistics — Expert

Destroying Iran’s power grid and bridges is easier said than done, according to former Pakistan Air Force colonel Sultan M. Hali.

Here’s why:

No Yugoslav-style campaign: Iran’s vast size and limited tanker basing options rule out a repeat of the 1999 Kosovo air war

Vulnerable tankers: Long distances force refueling aircraft to operate from exposed forward bases or on risky long-range missions

Layered air defenses: Russian-made Tor-M1 and indigenous Bavar-373 systems threaten low/medium-altitude strikes

Dual threat to carriers: Drone swarms can overwhelm defenses, while short-range ballistic and cruise missiles can target ships and bases

“The danger is not absolute, but it is significant enough to force US planners into cautious, resource-intensive operations,” the expert said.

U.S. Marshals RAID Home of Former Republican Lobbyist Jim Courtovich

U.S. Marshals raided the upscale home of former Republican lobbyist Jim Courtovich, enforcing a federal court order tied to a $4 million judgment stemming from allegations of financial misconduct.

Courtovich, the founder of Sphere Consulting and a fixture on the K Street party circuit, once rubbed elbows with media elites and GOP heavyweights.

During the 2016 Republican primary, Courtovich supported Jeb Bush, one of Trump’s main rivals. He reportedly did not vote in the 2016 general election.

According to a report from The New York Times and journalist Brody Mullins, a team of armed federal agents arrived at Courtovich’s multimillion-dollar residence near Kalorama just before 10 a.m., loudly announcing their presence and warning they were prepared to forcibly enter if necessary.

The raid enforces a federal court judgment ordering him to repay $4 million-plus, in what Saudi-backed investors claim was a brazen breach of contract and outright fraud.

“US Marshals this morning raided the home of Jim Courtovich, the once-high flying Republican lobbyist & fixer.
Saudi & other business partners had won a judgment against him for stealing $4m, & the raid was an effort to collect, reports Brody Mullins, who was on the scene & has a lively dispatch in his new Influence newsletter.”

Israel excludes Lebanon from ceasefire, oil prices dive as Iran signals Hormuz green light

US President Donald Trump has announced a two-week suspension of bombing of Iranian energy infrastructure, agreeing to a “double sided ceasefire” contingent on Tehran agreeing to the “complete” and “immediate” opening of the Strait of Hormuz. The news prompted oil prices to drop by around 13% and shares to rise in early trading in Asia.

Israel has refused to include Lebanon, which it is currently invading, in the ceasefire.

Trump said Iran’s 10-point proposal delivered via Pakistan offers a “workable basis on which to negotiate.” He warned, however, that he would order devastating new airstrikes if no final deal is reached by the new deadline.

Tehran said the move represents a “historic and crushing defeat” for the US, claiming Washington has been forced to accept Tehran’s 10‑point plan as the basis for talks.

Iran’s Supreme National Security Council has announced that negotiations with the US will begin on Friday, April 10, in Islamabad, allocating a two‑week period that may be extended by mutual agreement.

Apple Removes Bitchat from China App Store at Cyberspace Administration Order

Apple deleted Bitchat from the China App Store, acting on a direct order from the Cyberspace Administration of China. Jack Dorsey, who created the app, posted a screenshot of Apple’s removal notice to X with a short caption: “bitchat pulled from the china app store.”

The notice Apple sent to Dorsey is almost a copy-paste of the one it sent to Damus three years earlier. The language is identical. The accusation is identical. The CAC determined that Bitchat violates Articles 3 of the Provisions on the Security Assessment of Internet-based Information Services with Attribute of Public Opinions or Capable of Social Mobilization.

That regulation, enacted in 2018, requires any online service capable of influencing public opinion or organizing collective action to undergo a government security assessment before going live. If a service hasn’t submitted to that assessment, the CAC can order it pulled.

It targets the capacity for “public opinions” and “social mobilization.” The Chinese government has decided that the ability to communicate outside state-approved channels is itself a security threat, and Apple consistently treats that determination as sufficient grounds for deletion.

Bitchat is a peer-to-peer messaging app that operates over Bluetooth mesh networks. It requires no internet connection, no phone number, no email address, and no user account.

Messages are end-to-end encrypted and stored only on the devices involved. There are no central servers to subpoena, no user databases to hand over, and no content moderation pipeline for the CAC to plug into.

Dorsey built the initial version over a single weekend in July 2025, coding it with Goose, Block’s open-source AI assistant. He published a white paper on GitHub and opened a TestFlight beta that hit its 10,000-user cap within hours.

That design is precisely the problem from Beijing’s perspective. China’s internet censorship apparatus depends on having a chokepoint.

MAHA Leaders Demand EPA Protect Americans From Toxic Chemicals

Leaders, farmers and organizations aligned with the Make America Healthy Again, or MAHA, movement are calling on U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin to protect the health of the American public from pesticides, plastics and per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, or PFAS, chemicals that are contributing to infertility, cancer and other chronic diseases.

The 36 MAHA organizations and leaders sent a letter urging the EPA to walk their talk in the forthcoming “Make America Healthy Again” agenda — which may be released any day — with concrete actions that will reduce Americans’ exposure to toxic chemicals, curb the influence of corporations over the agency and address rising rates of chronic disease.

“The American people were promised a Make America Healthy Again agenda that would finally confront the root causes of chronic disease in this country. That must include tackling the toxic chemicals Americans are exposed to every day through pesticides, PFAS, and plastics,” said Vani Hari, Author & Food Activist.

“We desperately need the EPA to put the health of families and children ahead of the interests of chemical companies.”

The letter demands, among other actions, that EPA initiate an emergency review of pesticides that are allowed in the U.S. but banned in the European Union — a policy supported by 87% of Americans.

The groups are also calling for tighter scrutiny of persistent, toxic PFAS “forever chemicals” and better monitoring of microplastics in drinking water.

The MAHA leaders point to industry influence at the EPA as the heart of the failure to protect the public from harmful chemicals.

They noted that revolving-door appointments, industry-funded science and regulatory loopholes have become the norm at the agency. EPA needs to chart a new course, they said, and that means prioritizing human health over the interests of chemical corporations.

“The EPA’s public support for glyphosate and pesticide liability protections in the face of growing evidence of scientific harm by independent scientists is a major betrayal of MAHA’s mission and President Trump’s campaign promise to RFK, Jr. [Robert F. Kennedy Jr.] to reign in toxic chemicals in our food system,” said David Murphy, the founder of United We Eat and a longtime advocate for food and agricultural reforms.

GOP Rep. Brandon Gill Leads Charge to Kill Republican-Backed ‘DIGNIDAD Act’ Amnesty Bill: ‘It’s in a Foreign Language for Added Insult’

Rep. Brandon Gill is publicly opposing an immigration bill that he argues would provide amnesty for illegal aliens, even though it is being pushed by some members of the Republican Party.

The legislation, H.R. 4393, is formally titled the DIGNIDAD (Dignity) Act of 2025.

The bill’s full name is the “Dignity for Immigrants while Guarding our Nation to Ignite and Deliver the American Dream Act of 2025.” It was introduced in July by Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar, along with Democrat co-sponsor Rep. Veronica Escobar.

According to Gill, the bill’s Spanish acronym “DIGNIDAD” is an insult on top of the policy itself.

In a post on X on Tuesday, Gill wrote, “It’s actually not called the ‘Dignity Act’ It’s called the ‘DIGNIDAD Act’ It’s in a foreign language for added insult.”

In another post, Gill wrote, “The clearest way for Republicans to tell our voters we viscerally hate them is passing the ‘Dignity Act’ or any other amnesty bill.”

Trump Launches Investigation Into CNN World for Pushing ‘FRAUDULENT’ Iranian Ceasefire Statement — Says CRIMINAL ACT May Have Been Committed

President Donald Trump just dropped a nuclear Truth Social bomb on the corrupt fake news media.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that President Trump announced a two-sided ceasefire and agreed to pause planned military strikes on Iran following discussions with Pakistan’s prime minister.

Trump wrote on Truth Social:

“Based on conversations with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, of Pakistan, and wherein they requested that I hold off the destructive force being sent tonight to Iran, and subject to the Islamic Republic of Iran agreeing to the COMPLETE, IMMEDIATE, and SAFE OPENING of the Strait of Hormuz, I agree to suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks. This will be a double sided CEASEFIRE!

The reason for doing so is that we have already met and exceeded all Military objectives, and are very far along with a definitive Agreement concerning Longterm PEACE with Iran, and PEACE in the Middle East. We received a 10 point proposal from Iran, and believe it is a workable basis on which to negotiate.

Almost all of the various points of past contention have been agreed to between the United States and Iran, but a two week period will allow the Agreement to be finalized and consummated.

On behalf of the United States of America, as President, and also representing the Countries of the Middle East, it is an Honor to have this Longterm problem close to resolution. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

Final charge dropped against David Daleiden for exposing Planned Parenthood’s aborted baby parts sales

After more than a decade of legal battles, the final charge against pro-life undercover journalist David Daleiden has been dropped and expunged.

In 2015, Daleiden published undercover videos showing Planned Parenthood executives in California casually discussing the sale of aborted baby body parts while sipping wine at an upscale restaurant.

The videos went viral, racking up millions of views and triggering a public backlash against Planned Parenthood.

Nonetheless, California’s Department of Justice, headed by then-State Attorney General Kamala Harris, a Democrat, aggressively targeted Daleiden and his partner, Sandra Merritt, filing multiple felony charges against them.

The young investigative reporter said at the time that the day that Harris sent agents to his doorstep “started out a day like any other … except like it was 1984.”

“To storm into a private citizen’s home with a search warrant is outrageously out of proportion for the type of crime alleged. It’s a discredit to law enforcement, an oppressive abuse of government power,” legal adviser Matt Heffron said at the time.

It was a clear example of legal warfare waged by the state against a private citizen for daring to expose Planned Parenthood’s grisly commodification of aborted baby body parts.

The California DOJ’s egregious actions against Daleiden at the behest of Planned Parenthood were intended to shut him up about the abortion giant’s involvement in fetal trafficking and to punish him for speaking out.

“They are not afraid to use every bit of power at their disposal to force their agenda through,” Daleiden later said.

“It was Kamala Harris that was given the direction to arrest David Daleiden when he exposed Planned Parenthood’s Baby Body Parts Trafficking Ring,” Liz Churchill noted on X.

Trump’s New DHS Head off to Blistering Start, Considers Crippling Sanctuary Cities’ International Airports

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin may take action against “sanctuary cities” that subvert federal immigration laws by removing customs agents at their international airports.

The move would crush the tourist economies of sanctuary cities such as New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco by rendering them incapable of processing international travelers.

Mullin floated the idea Monday during an interview with Fox News host Bret Baier.

“I believe sanctuary cities — it’s not lawful,” the DHS boss said. “This one area we may take a hard look at is … some of these cities have international airports. If they’re a sanctuary city, should they really be processing customs into their city?

“If they’re a sanctuary city and they’re receiving international flights, and we’re asking them to partner with us at the airport, but once they walk out of the airport, they’re not going to enforce immigration policy — maybe we need to have a really hard look at that,” Mullin continued.
