Rep. Jasmine Crockett of Texas was recently giving remarks at an event for the National Urban League, where she told a story about a young black woman whose father may have voted for Trump.

It seems inconceivable to Crockett. Democrats always act mystified when black people vote Republican.

It’s also worth noting that this is a typical Crockett moment. She is just overflowing with undeserved self-confidence.

Soon-to-be former Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett (TX-30) has a huge problem with black people who don’t vote for her party.

During a recent panel discussion, Crockett recounted hearing from a young black woman who told her that her dad did not want to vote for former Vice President Kamala Harris. “He was like, ‘if I go vote, it’s going to be for Trump.’”

“And she asked him, and I asked, I said, ‘did he vote?’ She was like, ‘I don’t know. I don’t want to ask.’ But nevertheless, One of the things that she said was, ‘my dad said he could trust Trump.’ And I was like, ‘really?’ And so the reality is that that’s not the first time I’ve had that conversation,” Crockett continued.

Musk Refused To Meet Zelensky, Who Asked Trump for Help Getting Starlink Tech To Guide Deep Strikes Inside Russian Territory

Musk would not even meet him, and Trump would not commit to the idea.

During his US visit for the burial of Senator Lindsay Graham, Kiev regime leader Volodymyr Zelensky attempted to meet billionaire Starlink owner Elon Musk, without success.

Unable to meet Musk, Zelensky reportedly asked Donald J. Trump to help secure Elon Musk’s permission to use Starlink technology.

81 Years of Annihilation: We Must Demand An End to U.S. Militarism Once And For All

It is an anniversary that almost goes unacknowledged in today’s day and age. One that, at nearly a century old, is fading further into memory while the consequences of it have left lasting scars on human history. 81 years ago this week, on August 6th and 9th of 1945, the United States government would carry out the most heinous and life altering act of terrorism the world has ever seen, dropping two atomic bombs on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

The immediate explosions resulted in the instantaneous death of approximately 80,000 people in Hiroshima. Days later the second bombing, this time targeting Nagasaki, would vaporize approximately 40,000 civilians, for a grand total of an estimated 120,000 people dead between the two cities combined, with tens of thousands more dying as a result of the aftermath.

In previous reporting, The Free Thought Project has directly addressed the prevailing false narratives regarding the atomic bombing of Japan, with articles such as Hiroshima At 80: Setting The Abhorrent Precedent For Atomic Warfare deconstructing the fabricated belief that such an attack was the only way to end the war without suffering excessive casualties. The analysis relies heavily on the testimony of top military officials of the time, including Chief of Staff Admiral William Leahy, 1st Supreme Allied Commander of Europe and later 34th President of the United States General Dwight Eisenhower, Commander of the Pacific Fleet Admiral Chester Nimitz, and Commander of the Southwest Pacific Fleet General Douglas MacArthur, all of whom expressed disgust at the use of such weapons, insisting that doing so was not necessary to bring about an end to the war.

Likewise, in other reporting such as Justifying Evil: How Roosevelt Used The Pearl Harbor Myth As A Pretext For Atrocity, the disingenuous distortions surrounding the attacks of Pearl Harbor are similarly dissected and debunked, conclusively demonstrating how the narrative surrounding the incident was a carefully curated facade obstructing the fact that the Roosevelt administration deliberately provoked the attack as a manufactured pretext to enter the conflict, rather than the fairy tale of the Japanese “surprise attack” recounted in American textbooks.

Historical records also indicate that despite the myth of “saving lives”, in actuality the densely packed cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were deliberately identified by the Targeting Committee to maximize civilian casualties as a means of fully demonstrating the deadly capabilities of America’s new weapon of mass destruction.

While the attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki are certainly the most well known instances of American mass murder against Japanese civilians, it is not the first of its kind. Only months earlier in March of 1945, under what is known as Operation Meetinghouse, the U.S. would carry out one of the most murderous and horrifying bombing campaigns in the history of the world. Hundreds of B-29 bombers descended over Tokyo, dropping more than 1,600 tons of incendiary bombs including napalm and white phosphorus over densely populated civilian areas, raining a terrifying hell fire from above that would kill over 100,000 civilians and displace over a million more from their homes as more than a quarter of the city was burned to the ground.

Just this attack alone resulted in a number of casualties almost equal to that of the annihilation of Hiroshima. But this campaign didn’t stop with Tokyo, over the course of the next several weeks the US would continue to carry out a ruthless carpet bombing campaign against nearly 60 Japanese cities, predominantly consisting of civilians, with many of them resulting in similar casualty rates. Ultimately, this terroristic firebombing of the Japanese mainland, often referred to as The Forgotten Holocaust, took exponentially more lives than the atomic bombings that took place only months later, exacerbating the nauseating body count by several magnitudes.

Of course, it hardly goes without mentioning that the horrors of American imperialism certainly did not start with the atrocities of the Second World War, with the very foundation of the nation itself built on the back of an indigenous genocide that took the lives of over 100 million native peoples, and four centuries of brutal slavery whose impacts can still be felt in American society today with the lingering shadow of institutionalized white supremacy.

The Monroe Doctrine of the 19th century, in all of its expansionist colonialist fervor wreaking havoc in Central America, is perhaps among the best examples of American imperialism predating the Second World War.

Even World War II itself, it can be argued, can be seen as a result of the ruthless tendencies of American exceptionalism when one considers that Adolf Hitler’s political career and the rise of the Third Reich was covertly funded and encouraged by Anglo-American financial elites and intelligence assets. Or that the psychotic dictator himself directly credited the American eugenics movement as his main inspiration for the Nazi extermination campaign that would lead to the Holocaust. A Holocaust, mind you, that Allied leaders were fully aware of years before publicly acknowledging it, and allowed to continue unabated.

Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White weighed in on the trans-athletes in women’s sports debate on Friday, and she predictably bowed to the woke mob. 

Stephanie White is the controversial head coach for Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham, the two most popular players in the WNBA. White has performed a miserable job coaching Clark and allowing her to face a beating night after night in the woke women’s league.

White’s comments come amid the controversy surrounding Sophie Cunningham, the Indiana Fever star who took a heroic stand against men competing in women’s sports. The 29-year-old star said she wants to “protect young girls in a locker room, or young girls in sport who shouldn’t have to go against biological men,” sparking outrage from far left progressives.

White was asked during a pregame presser on Friday for her personal stance on male athletes participating in women’s sports, and the coach, despite living 49 years as a woman, couldn’t answer because she apparently lacks the “expertise.” She even appeared to defend men in women’s sports, adding, “growing up, I played with the boys all the time.”

How did that work out, Stephanie?

“I don’t know that I would say that I’m educated enough from a scientific standpoint. I don’t ever believe that exclusion is an answer. I just don’t,” White responded.

“I do think, you know, when we think about various levels of sport, various governing bodies of sport, and things that go into that, like I said, I’m not educated enough at the different levels. I know, growing up, I played with the boys all the time. There weren’t girls’ sports.”

SpaceX Purges Chinese Personnel And Parts From Supply Chain as Space Force Awards $1.6 Billion Launch Contract

SpaceX is conducting what sources close to the company describe as an unprecedented supply chain purge — systematically removing Chinese nationals and Chinese-manufactured components from every facility that touches its hardware. The move, first reported by Nikkei Asia, represents the most aggressive decoupling of a major American defense contractor from the Chinese Communist Party’s industrial ecosystem in recent memory.

According to Nikkei’s reporting, SpaceX is instructing its suppliers in writing not to assign Chinese nationals to any facility producing SpaceX hardware and to prohibit equipment manufactured by Chinese companies — including surveillance cameras and routers — from those production floors. Audit teams dispatched by SpaceX are actively verifying compliance. The company is simultaneously building what it internally calls an “NCNT” supply chain — Non-China, Non-Taiwan — to insulate production against any potential disruption in the Taiwan Strait. “We work hard to adhere to the requests and it is understandable,” one supplier source told Nikkei. “The technology is a matter of national security, especially as SpaceX also has commercial partnerships with NASA.”

The timing could not be more significant. On Thursday, the U.S. Space Force Space Systems Command awarded SpaceX two task orders totaling $1.6 billion to execute 18 Falcon 9 launches under the National Security Space Launch Phase 3 Lane 1 program. All 18 missions will lift off from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California and are designed to deliver Space Based Sensing and Targeting capabilities — satellites providing real-time tracking of airborne threats and near-instantaneous data relay to joint warfighters. Space Force Col. Eric Zarybnisky called the two-month acquisition timeline from requirement identification to award “unprecedented,” emphasizing that “the speed our warfighter demands” drove the compressed schedule.

This is what economic nationalism looks like when it has teeth. For years, Washington demanded that defense contractors clean up their China dependencies while quietly tolerating the status quo. SpaceX is doing what the Pentagon has talked about endlessly but rarely enforced: hard-wiring the CCP out of systems that underpin American military supremacy in space. The Space Force contract ceiling for Lane 1 was raised from $5.6 billion to $17 billion just weeks ago — a signal that the U.S. military’s appetite for sovereign, China-free launch capacity is accelerating fast.

The broader context matters too. SpaceX already holds a $2.29 billion contract to build the Space Force’s low Earth orbit satellite communications backbone for low-latency warfighter data relay. Rocket Lab last week landed a parallel NSSL contract for up to 18 missile defense launches. America is rebuilding its space arsenal at speed — and the new rule is simple: no Chinese hands, no Chinese chips, no exceptions. The establishment media will frame this as xenophobia or Musk politics. What it actually is, is industrial policy that matches the threat.

New York Legalizes Assisted Suicide as ‘Medical Aid in Dying’ Law Takes Effect This Week

New York will become the latest state to allow doctors to prescribe lethal medication to patients when its Medical Aid in Dying Act takes effect on Wednesday, allowing eligible adults to request and administer drugs to assist them in committing suicide.

Governor Kathy Hochul signed the legislation into law on February 6, following years of debate, making New York the 14th U.S. jurisdiction to permit the practice.

Under the statute, a mentally capable adult resident of New York who has been diagnosed with a terminal illness expected to result in death within six months may obtain a prescription for life-ending medication after meeting a series of procedural requirements.

To qualify, the patient must be at least 18 years old, a New York resident, and confirmed by both an attending physician and a consulting physician to have an incurable and irreversible condition that will produce death within six months.

Under the law, the individual must demonstrate decision-making capacity and make a voluntary, informed request free of coercion.

The process requires an oral request that is audio or video recorded and permanently stored in the medical record, followed by a signed written request witnessed by two people who cannot benefit financially from the patient’s death.

A mandatory evaluation by a psychologist or psychiatrist is required to confirm capacity, and a five-day waiting period applies between the writing and filling of the prescription unless the attending physician determines the patient is likely to die sooner.

White House Nukes Governor “Tampon Tim” Walz Highlighting Minnesota Practice of Allowing Unregistered Voters to Vote if Someone Vouches for Them

The White House communications team lit up Minnesota Governor Tim Walz on Friday over Minnesota’s election “vouching” system, which allows same-day voter registration without proof of residency or citizenship. 

The rule allows unregistered voters to arrive at the polling location on election day, register, and cast a ballot without any proof of citizenship or residency, so long as someone “vouches” for them. One individual may vouch for up to eight registrants who do not have the required documentation.

The Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division fired off a letter to the Minnesota Secretary of State earlier this year, seeking records to ensure compliance with federal election laws. The DOJ requested records for all federal elections held in the 22 months prior, including the 2024 general and primary elections. “The Department of Justice is particularly concerned with votes and registrations accepted on the basis of ‘vouching’ from other registered voters or residential facility employees,” the DOJ wrote.

Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon previously defended the voucher program, claiming, “I cannot recall a single instance of a false vouching because people know they’re making an oath under penalty of perjury.”

Christian Physician Assistant Fired for Resisting Transgender Dogma Gets $410,000 Lawsuit Settlement

A Michigan physician assistant (PA) who alleged she was fired after refusing to comply with hospital transgender policies because of her religious beliefs is receiving a $410,000 settlement in her wrongful termination lawsuit.

Valerie Kloosterman sued University of Michigan Health-West (UMHW) filed suit in 2022 after she was fired in August 2021, alleging the 200-bed suburban Grand Rapids teaching hospital was requiring her to go against her conscience as a Christian.

“All I wanted to do was provide the best care possible to my patients without being forced to violate my Christian beliefs,” Kloosterman said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

She was represented in the lawsuit by First Liberty Institute, which documented that Kloosterman had “received positive performance reviews throughout her employment before raising faith-based objections to mandatory gender identity training,” the news outlet reported.

The legal advocacy nonprofit reported she was terminated after requesting a religious accommodation from finishing training that “required her to affirm statements about gender identity that were in violation of her Christian faith.”

No effort was made to accommodate her, according to the institute which takes on civil rights cases to “reclaim religious freedom in America.”

According to Fox Digital’s report:

The lawsuit says University of Michigan Health-West officials called her to a meeting, where they disparaged her religious beliefs, called her “evil” and a “liar,” told her she could not bring her Christian beliefs into the workplace, and accused her of contributing to suicides among individuals with gender dysphoria.

The settlement also calls on the hospital to prevent such punitive behavior from happening again.

Under its terms, UMHW has agreed to formulate a religious accommodation policy that complies with the law, inform and train all employees, and give reasonable religious accommodations without retribution to those who request it, the institute said.

“This new policy ensures that providers of faith and employees at UMHW will receive religious accommodations so that they can provide excellent care consistent with their medical judgment, because all patients are created in the image of God,” Kloosterman said in her statement to Fox News Digital.

The PA’s lawsuit was not a frivolous pursuit, her attorney said, but based on Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 which prohibits discrimination on several characteristics, including race and religion.

“Title VII prohibits employers from discriminating against and punishing employees for their faith,” Kayla Toney, counsel at First Liberty, said in a statement shared with Fox News Digital.

She continued, “Valerie is an exceptional physician assistant who cares for each of her patients. Employers cannot drive out people like Valerie just because of their sincere religious beliefs. We are grateful to have resolved this matter with University of Michigan Health-West.”

Bomb Kills Three at Moscow Restaurant During Reported Russian General’s Birthday Party

An explosive device detonated Saturday evening at the Balzi Rossi, an upscale restaurant in Moscow’s Kudrinskaya Square, killing three people and injuring at least 15 others. Russia’s National Anti-Terrorism Committee confirmed an IED was responsible, dismissing initial reports of a gas leak.

The blast occurred around 8 p.m. local time. The restaurant, located on the ground floor of one of Moscow’s iconic Stalin-era skyscrapers, had been closed for a private event. According to Russia’s Kommersant newspaper, citing law enforcement sources, an unidentified woman approached the restaurant carrying a box she described as a gift for the guests. When a security guard opened it, it exploded.

Multiple Russian and Ukrainian Telegram channels reported the private event was a birthday celebration for Colonel General Alexander Chaiko, Commander-in-Chief of Russia’s Aerospace Forces, who was turning 55. Witnesses described numerous government vehicles with black military license plates parked outside, along with a National Guard bus. Those reports have not been officially confirmed by Russian authorities, who have not named the intended target.

Video footage from the scene showed shattered windows, debris across the entrance, and heavily armed law enforcement officers securing the perimeter as emergency crews searched the building.

The attack is the latest in a series of security failures inside Russia. In recent weeks, Ukrainian drone strikes have penetrated deep into Russian territory, including an attack that destroyed more than $2 billion in inventory at warehouses belonging to online retailer Wildberries. The Kremlin also cancelled its annual Navy Day parade in St. Petersburg citing concerns over Ukrainian drone threats.

No group has claimed responsibility for the Moscow restaurant bombing. An investigation is underway.

Newsom’s Release of Tax Returns Called ‘an Insult to Transparency’

Gov. Gavin Newsom of California released four years of federal tax returns this week to carefully selected news outlets — a disclosure which one news outlet slammed as “sneaky” and an “insult to transparency.”

The release was prompted “in part by a federal investigation into the finances of his wife, Jennifer Siebel Newsom,” aides told the New York Times, one of the few publications tapped to view and report on the returns.

That’s the rub, critics said.

The California Post reported Saturday that the governor “only permitted a small group of favored media outlets to pore over 718 pages of documents while forbidding them from making copies,” a move it headlined as “sneaky” and the process an “insult to transparency.”

The Post, which had lobbied for their release, was not one of the chosen few.

In 2024, the most recent year released, the Newsoms reported a taxable income of about $1.39 million, $1 million of that from investments, according to the Times’ reporting on Friday.

The governor’s taxable wages from his salary as governor were about $192,000. According to that report “his wife’s wages were about $148,000.”

Until this week, Newsom and his wife have not released returns since he ran for reelection in 2022, though when he was first elected governor he promised to release them annually–but failed to do so, the Times noted.

His office told the newspaper that the new release was in response to “right-wing claims” that the couple enriched themselves during his time in office.

The Post and others, however, took umbrage at the methodology of the disclosure. The paper reported the release was made at a “carefully managed private media event Thursday in Sacramento.”

“Media outlets including the New York Times and Politico, whose reporters were ordered to use only a pen and paper to take notes on the documents, agreed to publish their findings Friday morning,” the Post wrote in its Saturday edition.

The Times confirmed that restricted note-taking scenario as well.

The Post published comments from two critical congressmen from the Golden State.

“If the governor is truly committed to transparency, it makes little sense to pick and choose who that transparency extends to,” Rep. Kevin Kiley (R-CA), a former state legislator, told the tabloid. “This appears to be another Newsom story where the factual details are very different from the self-proclaimed headline.”

Rep. James Gallagher (R-CA) also weighed in, saying, “Newsom’s transparency is a lot like his homelessness policy — it leaves a lot to be desired.”

He continued, “He talks big about things but never actually delivers. This is another instance of that — only allowing select people and only pen and paper. This isn’t real transparency. There are still a lot of questions where Gavin’s money comes from.”

According to the Times:

The returns, which were released for 2021 through 2024, show that Mr. Newsom’s finances have been fairly stable over the years, except in 2021, when the family’s income received a $1 million boost after they sold a multimillion-dollar home. Mr. Newsom has filed for an extension to file his 2025 return, which is due in October.

Tax returns often do not indicate how much a person’s wealth has grown through investments and business holdings. Many asset classes grew substantially in value between 2021 and 2024, yet the Newsoms’ income remained roughly the same. The governor and his wife both have significant investments in blind trusts, and only the income from those investments was reflected in the tax returns.

The couple, the Times reported, earned the bulk of their joint income from the governor’s investment in the wine and hospitality industry, held in a blind trust. His wife’s income stemmed from nonprofits with which she is associated.

The governor, who published his memoir Young Man in a Hurry, also earned $70,000 as an author in 2023 and $75,000 in $2024, presumably as advances for that book or royalties for a children’s book he also wrote.

Over the period released, the couple’s donations to charity ranged from a low of $40,000 in 2021 to a high of $67,000 in 2023. The names of organizations receiving cash were withheld, according to the Times, while recipients of non-cash donations were included.

One such donation was “Armani business wear” to a justice nonprofit in Oakland, the clothing costing them $45,000 but listed at a “thrift shop value” of only $4900. Other donations like toys and furniture went to Goodwill Industries.

The couple also paid additional taxes for domestic staff members and babysitters, reportedly paying nearly $200,000 in wages for household employees in 2024.

The returns came especially into focus after the governor disclosed recently that he and his wife are subjects of a federal investigation, which he claims is politically motivated.

Newsom in the past has accused the administration of weaponizing the Justice Department against him because he is a likely contender in the 2028 presidential election.
