Former Elizabeth Warren Volunteer Attends Ayatollah Khamenei’s Funeral, Says He Was the “Greatest Anti-Imperialist Leader During My Lifetime” in Iranian State Media Interview

A former Democrat activist and Elizabeth Warren Presidential campaign volunteer attended the funeral of the late Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and participated in propaganda interviews, wearing a hijab and traditional Muslim garb.

Calla Walsh, in a documentary-style interview with Iranian state media, described herself as “a journalist, originally from the United States.” She told the propaganda outlet, “The US and Israel were mistaken in thinking that by assassinating the leader that they could overthrow the Islamic Republic. In fact, this aggressive move, this audacious move, has actually only had the opposite effect, and that the people are more determined than ever in favor of the revolution, in defending the Islamic Republic, in defending Iran’s sovereignty, and there is still continuity in the leadership of the revolution.

“he was a leader to all people of the world who struggle against imperialism, against arrogance, against Zionism, against genocide,” she said. “To me, he was the greatest anti-imperialist leader to have lived during my lifetime.”

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Iran began a weeklong funeral last weekend for Khamenei, months after an airstrike killed him at the start of the U.S.-Israeli war against the country.

Walsh, a 22-year-old social justice warrior-turned defector, started out as a youth leader in Massachusetts Senator Ed Markey’s 2020 reelection, volunteering with Senator Elizabeth Warren’s 2020 Presidential campaign, and championing progressive causes. Now, the former rising star in the Democratic Party is on a US government watchlist “for her expansive dealings with the governments of Cuba and Iran,” the Free Press reports.

Missouri State University Been Training Chinese Communists In Business

Missouri has voted strongly Republican since the 2000 election. A red state! How nice. Not exactly. Look deeper.

The Missouri State University, a tax-payer-funded institution like all state schools, has been offering an MBA program to Chinese nationals. Their website seems to be proud of that:

Missouri State University

Missouri State University is a comprehensive institution offering undergraduate and graduate programs, including the professional doctorate. The university educates students to be global citizen scholars committed to public affairs.

It’s that last line to which I call your attention. “Global citizen scholars.”

Since the year, 2000, MSU HAS TRAINED OVER 1,500 CURRENT AND FUTURE MANAGERS FOR CHINESE STATE-OWNED ENTERPRISES AND GOVERNMENT BODIES – INCLUDING THE DEFENSE INDUSTRY – BY THE YEAR 2018!!

Global Citizen Scholars.

The amount that US Taxpayer’s have been spent on this runs into the tens of millions of dollars, or more, says Strategy Risks, a business intelligence firm focused on global risks which is based in New York City. I believe it has to have been much more.

The estimate of taxpayer funding rests on the most detailed figures available, which appear in a recruiting presentation from the Chinese Agricultural University, according to the report.

A report, “Heartland For Hire,” from Strategy Risks, provides the first public accounting of several MSU master’s programs that have “trained more than 1,500 current and future managers for Chinese state-owned enterprises and government bodies” since the programs began in 2001.

Graduates from these MBA and Executive MBA programs have gone on “to senior roles in China’s defense industry, strategic supply chains, and surveillance-technology sector”—including those sanctioned for aiding the People’s Liberation Army and providing technology to Russia for its war against Ukraine.

However, the report notes that the materials Strategy Risks found gave “conflicting accounts of the program’s finances.” Public recruiting materials for the MBA program describe “different prices, subsidy arrangements, and responsible payers.”

This bears repeating:

A publicly funded university in the State of Missouri, USA, provided a steady flow of business training to the Chinese Communist Party for over 20 years. The ads for the program still appeared on Chinese websites as late as 2024 – when DJT took office for the second term. During his first, you will see he placed this on a watch/special licensing list. Read on.

There is more.

By 2015, 107 finance positions from the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) system entities had completed the MSU MBA program, according to the report.

AVIC is “China’s primary state-owned aviation and defense conglomerate,” which the Department of War designated as a “Communist Chinese military company” in June 2020, and an Executive Order from the Trump administration “prohibited Americans from holding securities in any company on that list.”

YouTube Warns Independent UK Creators of Impending Censorship Push From Labour Government

American video-sharing platform YouTube told users in Britain that, under pressure from the left-wing Labour Party government, independent creators will likely see their content suppressed.

The British government has been accused of attempting to silence political opposition, with YouTube telling UK creators that proposed new rules would include a “prominence regime” that would force sites like YouTube to give a “privileged position” to the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, and other legacy media.

The notice said that artificially propping up establishment media would naturally result in independent media being downranked and obscured from view, as “pushing this group forward means pushing everyone else downward. Mandatory prioritisation of broadcasters would affect how your content reaches your audience, regardless of what your audience actually wants to see.”

“Mandating prominence for established media networks would push the UK’s diverse mix of independent journalists, educators, and digital-first businesses down the line,” YouTube added.

Creators were also told that this would impact their ability to grow their communities, generate views, and ultimately earn money as a business.

The government is said to have told the site that legacy broadcasters had the “trust” of the state to provide accurate reporting, which YouTube noted implies that “digital-first voices are less credible, damaging the foundational trust that sustains the creator economy.”

This comes despite the BBC recently facing significant scandals involving the accuracy of its reporting, including last year when it was forced to apologise to U.S. President Trump after a documentary produced by the public broadcaster deceptively spliced together different sections of his speech on January 6th 2021, to falsely give the impression that he had encouraged supporters to riot, when he did the exact opposite.

Interior Secretary Doug Burgum Destroys George Stephanopoulos’ Reflecting Pool Lies – Calls Out Media for Refusing to Report on Damaged Monuments but Attacking Trump for Fixing Them

Interior Secretary Doug Burgum joined ABC’s This Week with George Stephanopoulos on Sunday, where the two sparred over the renovation of the Reflecting Pool in DC.

Stephanopoulos repeatedly attempted to claim that the renovation was a failure, denying that the Trump administration had fixed anything and insisting that something “went wrong” with the renovations, while ignoring the vandalism and destruction of the pool’s lining.

He first attempted to attack Trump over the roughly $15 million cost of the job to fix and properly seal the pool with crack and leak-proof materials and expansion joints, which will withstand the years and changing temperatures that come with the seasons. The pool was previously sinking and leaking millions of gallons of water per year into the swamp beneath.

Stephanopoulos implied that because the pool is now closed due to vandalism and because of the cost, it was a failed renovation. “What went wrong? How are you going to fix it? How much is it going to cost?” he asked Burgum.

“Let’s put this all in context: Under President Trump’s leadership, Washington, DC, we fixed 48 monuments, 22 fountains that hadn’t had water going for years. We eliminated over 1000 graffiti sites. All of these things have been going on across the city, and you know, everybody that lives in Washington, DC says the place has never looked better. And, of course, you look at the crime stats, the city has never been safer,” Burgum fired back.

“Of the 340 million people in this country that are celebrating 250, we did have a few vandals, but all that’s going to be repairable, and that’ll all be fixed in the coming weeks as we go forward.”

B.C.’s oil tanker ban exposed: Why U.S. oil gets a pass but Alberta doesn’t

B.C.’s oil tanker ban is once again under scrutiny as questions mount over why it restricts Alberta crude while allowing foreign oil shipments to pass through the province’s coast.

Drea Humphrey argued that Premier David Eby has emerged as the biggest winner from the latest pipeline discussions between Alberta and Ottawa. “He’s getting exactly what he wanted,” she said, pointing to billions in promised infrastructure spending while any potential pipeline benefits remain years away.

Humphrey also questioned the province’s opposition to transporting Alberta oil by tanker, noting that large foreign vessels already travel the same waters. “How is that any less of a risk to the North Coast?” she asked.

Sheila Gunn Reid argued the federal approach ignores what she sees as an obvious alternative. She noted that American tankers from Alaska are permitted to use the same coastal route, saying, “The tanker ban only applies to Alberta oil. It doesn’t apply to American oil.”

Rather than reviving the cancelled Northern Gateway route to Kitimat, Gunn Reid said the proposed pipeline would head south to Vancouver, making it “infinitely more expensive and inconvenient.”

“I refuse to see this as the win everybody is touting it as,” she added. “It’s likely never going to get built.”

25 People Dead in New Jersey Amid Sweltering Heat Wave – Deceased Found in Homes with No Air Conditioning

At least 25 people died in New Jersey since Thursday amid a sweltering heat wave.

Temperatures soared into the triple digits over the Fourth of July holiday weekend in New Jersey, New York, DC and other East Coast states.

Power outages in New Jersey and New York reportedly affected 1 million customers.

According to officials, many of the deceased were found in their homes with no air conditioning.

Some people were discovered outside of their homes or in parked cars.

“Unfortunately, many of these individuals were found in homes without air conditioning,” New Jersey Health Commissioner Dr. Raynard Washington said on Saturday.

“A few were outside their residences, some on the street and some even in parked cars,” he said.

The heat-related deaths occurred in central and northern New Jersey.

ABC News reported:

At least 25 people are suspected to have died in New Jersey from the sweltering, multi-day heat wave that has enveloped a large portion of the country leading up to and over the Fourth of July holiday weekend, officials said.

New Jersey officials said at a news conference that the deaths were caused by the heat dome that had settled above parts of the central and eastern United States.

New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill said that thunderstorms on Friday night and over the weekend across the state knocked out power to nearly 300,000 utility customers and that wind gusts of up to 80 mph toppled trees and power lines.

New Jersey officials said they began seeing what they believe are heat-related deaths as early as Thursday, with most occurring in the central and northern parts of the state.

Waste Of The Day: Stolen Education Grants

Topline: A North Dakota woman was convicted last month of five counts of theft for stealing $131,000 in state grants meant for after-school programs.

Key facts: Faith Dixon, 47, was one of the top recipients of $2 million that the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction awarded in October 2021 for its Out of School Time program to support children impacted by school closures during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Her nonprofit, Faith4Hope, instead sent the funds to her then-husband’s food stand, her brother’s music and production company and her sister-in-law’s dance studio, according to court documents reviewed by InForum.

Dixon’s lawyers claimed she disbursed the money in “good faith” to help children, despite the conflicts of interest. But assistant attorney general Jeremy Ensrud showed some of the funds were spent on Dixon’s own “day-to-day living expenses.”

Dixon’s ex-husband pleaded guilty to theft last year. He admitted the grants to his food stand were not spent on providing culinary classes to children, as he promised the state.

Dixon’s other family members truly did spend their grants on helping children, Ensrud told InForum.

Last October, Dixon took a plea deal that would have sent her to prison for only 4 to 11 months, but she backed out because she had received “bad legal advice.” Now, she will serve 4 to 10 years.

Saying the Quiet Part Out Loud: Somali Rep. Ilhan Omar’s Fourth of July Video Message Exposes Plan to Remake America into Something ‘Different’

On the Fourth of July, as Americans celebrated the nation’s founding and independence, Minnesota’s Somali Congresswoman Ilhan Omar released a video message declaring how she wants to make America into something “different.”

In the video, Omar reflected on joining Congress not to preserve or strengthen the United States as it exists, but to help create “a different kind of neighborhood, city, and country.”

The video confirms that her priorities and allegiance are not with Americans.

Omar frames her election as part of a broader effort to reshape communities and the nation itself into something new and… foreign.

Conservatives immediately pointed out the irony of delivering an open admission that her agenda involves changing the country’s character rather than defending its founding principles as Americans celebrated the nation’s 250th birthday.

Big Pharma Is Running Drug Trials in a Chinese Concentration Camp Zone

Trivia question: What do Botox, Ozempic knockoff Mounjaro, and the cancer drug Keytruda all have in common?

They were all partly developed using clinical trial data from China. Specifically, from Chinese military hospitals. And, in a bunch of cases, from Xinjiang. That’s the place where the CCP has locked more than a million ethnic Uyghurs in concentration camps.

The House Select Committee on the CCP just sent letters to five major drugmakers—AbbVie, Bristol Myers Squibb, Eli Lilly, Merck, and Pfizer—demanding answers about their clinical trials in China. The numbers, pulled straight from ClinicalTrials.gov, are unnerving. Merck alone ran at least 40 trials at PRC military medical centers and 31 more in Xinjiang. AbbVie: 17 Xinjiang trials, 16 at military hospitals. Similar story with Pfizer, Eli Lilly and BMS.

Is this a problem? Well, Committee Chairman and Congressman John Moolenaar said that “data developed through clinical trials at those hospitals could fuel the CCP’s military biotechnology research.”

But let’s say you don’t care about the CCP’s bioweapons program. Maybe you care about ethics?

Xinjiang is where the CCP is running a genocide against Uyghur Muslims. So when a drug trial recruits “volunteers” from inside that system, the word “voluntary” is probably a euphemism. China’s trial system enrolls patients three to five times faster than America’s. That sounds efficient until you ask why. Getting meaningful informed consent tends to slow things down. Forced labor camps tend not to have that problem.

Germany’s AfD Tricks Thousands Of Antifa Revolutionaries

Germany’s right-wing AfD party re-elected co-leaders Alice Weidel and Tino Chrupalla at its annual conference in Erfurt, a central German city. Meanwhile, far-left activists, professional political agitators, and NGOs funded by dark money attempted to restrict access to the event through a coordinated pressure campaign.

Local police estimate that around 15,000 far-left activists descended on Erfurt to block roads and prevent AfD members from reaching the convention area. However, as one news outlet pointed out:

AfD tricks Antifa. The motley crew of disheveled youths, chronic unemployed, students of babble studies, and NGO staffers sat on the street starting at 05:30 a.m. to block the AfD’s arrival. But the AfD had already arrived an hour and a half earlier in a long convoy under police protection. And while the AfD delegates could leisurely have breakfast and prepare for the party congress that starts at 10 a.m., Antifa is squatting pointlessly on the street. With the AfD, you just get up earlier

The conference comes as AfD’s growing confidence among the population becomes evident, with the party leading polls ahead of Chancellor Friedrich Merz’s conservatives. Recent surveys put AfD support at 29%, compared to about 22% for the CDU/CSU bloc.
