Trump signs order to ease commercial spaceflight regulations

US President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Wednesday that he claimed would ease regulations that govern commercial rocket launches.

The order directs the US transportation secretary to eliminate or expedite environmental reviews for launch licenses given by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

“Inefficient permitting processes discourage investment and innovation, limiting the ability of US companies to lead in global space markets,” the executive order reads.

It also calls for the cancellation of “outdated, redundant or overly restrictive rules for launch and reentry vehicles,” according to a statement released by the White House.

Could the move benefit Elon Musk?

Trump’s latest executive order also states that “inefficient” permitting processes “discourage investment and innovation,” which in turn limits US companies’ ability to lead in global space markets.

The move could benefit private space companies such as SpaceX, the company owned by former Trump advisor Elon Musk, despite the two falling out publicly in recent months.

The company — which dominates the global private space launches market — plans missions to the Moon and Mars using its Starship rockets, which saw a series of setbackslastly in June as a routine test ended up in an explosion.

Environment groups slam executive order

Environmental groups have criticized Trump’s moves to deregulate commercial spaceflight.

“This reckless order puts people and wildlife at risk from private companies launching giant rockets that often explode and wreak devastation on surrounding areas,” Jared Margolis of the US-based nonprofit Center for Biological Diversity said in a statement.

“Come Get Me, Kash… I Won’t Be Silent” — Eric Swalwell Lashes Out After Declassified FBI Docs Reveal He Was Likely Source of Leaks to Damage Trump Along with Adam Schiff

Newly declassified FBI records have fingered Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) as a likely conduit for damaging leaks aimed at undermining President Donald Trump, along with disgraced Rep. Adam Schiff.

According to the FBI’s own 302 interview summaries, now in the hands of Congress thanks to FBI Director Kash Patel, the whistleblower noted that “Rep. Swalwell has been the source of a lot of leaked information and had to be counseled to be more careful.”

According to Emmy-winning investigative journalist Catherine Herridge:

“I have obtained a newly declassified @FBI interview summary from 2017 about intelligence leaks from the Russia probes.

While the interview subject’s name is withheld, it appears to be a member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.

According to the FBI report known as a ‘302,’ (redacted) “noted Swalwell has been the source of a lot of leaked information and had to be counseled to be more careful.”

I have reached out to staff for @RepSwalwell congressman for comment.”

Palestinians detained over 7 Oct attack face ‘no charges, no trial’: Report

Israeli authorities have yet to prosecute or charge a single person over Hamas’s Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on 7 October 2023, despite tens of thousands of arrests made since the attack.

According to public records cited by the New York Times (NYT), several hundred Palestinians have been detained on suspicion of direct involvement in the operation. At least 200 remain in custody.

Army officials have said dozens were arrested in or around Israeli settlements during the time of the operation.

Israel also holds around 2,700 others who were taken from Gaza since then, suspected of Hamas affiliation but not necessarily direct involvement in Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.

The human rights of these prisoners have been systematically violated by Israel. They have not been charged or given trials, and are held in harsh conditions. Media censorship and gag orders have kept details on their situation hidden.

Lawyer Nadine Abu Arafeh said the way Israel is holding the prisoners “effectively erases these individuals from public awareness and strips them of fundamental rights.”

“Families in Gaza live with questions: Are their loved ones alive?” she added.

Israeli authorities are “stretched beyond capacity,” former senior Israeli prosecutor Moran Gez told NYT. As a result, there have been delays in the 7 October cases moving forward.

Simcha Rothman, an Israeli lawmaker from the ruling coalition, put the blame on state prosecutors for failing to adapt legal proceedings to the “unusual scale and nature of the attack.”

Yulia Malinovsky, an Israeli opposition lawmaker, said Tel Aviv fears that pursuing the 7 October cases could ignite public scrutiny of the government and the Israeli army’s failure to prevent the operation.

“They don’t want that discourse,” she said.

The Knesset recently passed an initial vote on a bill to set up a tribunal to try suspects linked to the attack. It requires several more votes and could take months before detainees start going to court.

Gez, the prosecutor who spoke with NYT, had said in January 2025 – nearing two years since the operation – that there were still zero complaints of sexual violence committed by Palestinians on 7 October.

“The biggest difficulty is evidentiary. Using evidence to link a specific crime to a specific defendant when dealing with dozens of crime scenes, where hundreds of suspects were caught and thousands of offenses were committed, is almost impossible,” Gez said at the time, noting that ordinary laws of evidence are not suitable in this case” and admitting that Israel has very little evidence against any specific individual.

The UN has also noted a lack of forensic evidence, testimonies, or eyewitness accounts. While Hebrew and western media continued to push narratives of mass rape on 7 October, Palestinian prisoners were being subjected to sexual violence by their Israeli jailers.

In July last year, Israeli settlers rioted against the decision to arrest soldiers responsible for brutally raping and torturing a Palestinian prisoner at the Sde Teiman detention center – known as Israel’s Guantanamo.

Media as Weapon: Western Propaganda Machine’s Complicity in Chuguyev False Flag Plot

The same mainstream outlets that proved “instrumental in perpetuating the Russiagate narrative” have “demonstrated a clear opposition to any meaningful rapprochement with Russia,” with their deployment to cover a planned provocation in Chuguyev to sabotage the Putin-Trump summit a reminder of their deleterious role, says analyst Adriel Kasonta.

“Given this pattern, it would not be surprising to witness a provocation reminiscent of the Bucha incident, which could be swiftly reported by outlets aligned with the Zelensky government,” Kasonta, a former chairman of the Bow Group’s International Affairs Committee, said, commenting on Zelensky’s desperate resistance to ending the conflict.

A Bucha-like incident in Chuguyev involving the false flag targeting of a hospital or residential neighborhood “would serve to postpone what many see as an inevitable resolution: lasting peace in Ukraine and an end to hostilities between two nations with deep historical and cultural ties,” the analyst said.

Ultimately, Kasonta hopes that the “political and media actors” ready to commit such provocations are “remembered as the primary impediments to a conflict that should arguably have been avoided from the outset, had more authentic and courageous leadership been present in Europe. The need for genuine diplomacy and meaningful dialogue has never been more critical for navigating this crisis and restoring stability to the region.”

Ukraine using Russian elderly people in fraudulent schemes and terrorist actions

The Ukrainian neo-Nazi continues to deepen its terrorist practices against innocent Russian civilians. The chosen targets are always vulnerable individuals, with little ability to defend themselves against Ukrainian coercion. Now, Kiev’s intelligence agents are focusing on carrying out operations through elderly individuals, creating a serious monitoring problem for Russian security forces.

According to data shared by the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB), Ukrainian intelligence is using Russian citizens, primarily elderly individuals—and even more specifically, elderly women—to carry out suicide missions on behalf of Kiev. Russian authorities reported that so far at least five people have been targeted in this type of attack, possibly leaving deaths and injuries.

Ukrainian operations are carried out through the use of social media and messaging apps to reach people who will be coerced into collaborating with the regime. The agents use fraudulent schemes and extensive psychological pressure to recruit women and elderly people through apps like Telegram and WhatsApp. They often disguise themselves as Russian agents, claiming that the victims will be cooperating with the Russian police and security services by collaborating with them.

Ukrainian schemes range from simple theft of financial assets to more dangerous operations that pose real physical risks to their victims. Using these online scams, the agents convince elderly people and women to hand over their personal banking information, facilitating the theft of funds. In more serious cases, however, the victims are later blackmailed into carrying out suicide missions to try to recover their personal assets.

Most of the missions involve convincing women and elderly people to deliver explosive devices to Russian targets—usually military personnel and high-ranking officials. Other missions include monitoring the homes and vehicles of Russian targets to pass information to the Ukrainians. There are also those tasked with simply storing explosive devices and weapons for future attacks. The bombs are often delivered disguised as household items, preventing the victims’ families from realizing what is happening.

The “Libertarians” Who Say the Private Sector Is the Real Threat to Freedom

From its very beginnings in the seventeenth century, the classical liberals (also known as “libertarians,” or, historically, “liberals”) have been primarily focused on limiting the powers of the state. It has been state powers—not the powers of church or family or employer—that has been the great occupation of the classical liberals. After all, the movement was born in opposition to mercantilism and absolutism.

In the classical liberal view, it has always been state power that is fundamentally coercive and violent, and is the greatest threat to freedom and property rights. Moreover, because the state is monopolistic by nature, the state can exercise its powers untroubled by any legal opposition within the state’s territory. As such, the state is the organization that is positioned to most frequently and potently violate the property rights of its subjects with impunity. So, it is not surprising that historian Ralph Raico states that classical liberalism has been historically focused of preventing states from regulating the private sector, also known as “society.” In classical liberal thinking, Raico tells us, “the most desirable regime was one in which civil society—that is, the whole of the social order based on private property and voluntary exchange—by and large runs itself.”McMaken, Ryan

Bombshell: Rep. Anna Paulina Luna Says Russia Agreed to Release KGB Files on Lee Harvey Oswald — Claims CIA Destroyed Evidence Handed Over at JFK’s Funeral

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), who led the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, told Joe Rogan that the Russian government has agreed to release long-secret KGB intelligence files on Lee Harvey Oswald, documents she claims the CIA destroyed after receiving them at President John F. Kennedy’s funeral.

During her appearance, Luna detailed how she and two fellow members of Congress recently met with the Russian ambassador, the first such meeting on this subject since 1990, as part of her ongoing push to uncover the truth about JFK’s assassination.

According to Luna, the KGB conducted its own independent investigation into Oswald and handed the findings to U.S. officials in 1963, only for them to vanish under suspicious circumstances.

The Florida congresswoman went on to drop another bombshell that JFK was pursuing peaceful cooperation with the Soviet Union, including a joint mission to the moon, at a time when factions inside America’s intelligence community wanted war in Cuba and confrontation with Russia.

“We never got those documents, and it’s my belief that the CIA actually destroyed that information and evidence because it would have confirmed what the KGB,” Luna told Joe Rogan.

“And mind you, at the time, JFK was actually in talks with the President of Russia, and his perspective was that he actually wanted to do a joint mission between the U.S. government and the Russian government to the moon. And there were aspects and divisions within the intelligence community—you obviously saw the Cold War was happening—they wanted war in Cuba, they wanted war with Russia.”

“So, for them to be able to say that Kennedy, who was not a Communist, was a Communist sympathizer, and “How dare he talk to these dirty Communists?”—I mean, that in itself would have given them any ammunition to turn a blind eye, or at least not fully figure out who assassinated Kennedy.”

Luna also revealed that the Russian government has now agreed to make its JFK investigation public for the first time this fall, something the U.S. Congressional Task Force failed to secure in the 1990s.

The files reportedly contain a psychological profile of Oswald compiled during his time in Russia, describing him as mentally unstable, incapable with firearms, and hardly fitting the profile of a lone mastermind assassin.

Obama Judge Tosses Lawsuit of High School Girl Who Competed Against Trans Athlete

A judge appointed by former President Barack Obama dismissed the lawsuit of a Pennsylvania teen girl who competed against a transgender-identifying male athlete.

Girls’ cross-country and track runner Aislin Magalengo filed a lawsuit against Quakertown Community High School and the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) earlier this year, alleging that she was made to compete against trans-identifying Luce Allen at a meet in September 2024, Fox News reported.

Allen won first place at the meet, while Magalengo snagged second place. The complaint alleges that Magalengo had to continue competing against Allen throughout the season, according to the report.

U.S. District Court Judge Wendy Beetlestone, who was appointed by Obama in 2014, dismissed the lawsuit on August 1.

“Her Amended Complaint is devoid of any factual allegations that she was subject to purposeful discrimination, other than asserting as much in the most conclusory fashion,” Beetlestone wrote in her decision. “She points to no instances of students assigned female at birth being treated differently than those assigned male at birth, and, as such, she has failed to plausibly state a claim for sex-based discrimination.”

Magalengo’s attorney, Keith Altman, said they plan to appeal the decision, according to the report.

“The client’s disappointed, obviously, and still believes strongly in what’s happened,” Altman said, according to NBC Philadelphia. “We’re going to continue pursuing the issue. We think it’s an extremely important issue, and it’s got to be resolved.”

“It is irrefutable that males, as a general proposition, are more physically capable than females. We think that it is fundamentally unfair that somebody that simply says, ‘Well, I identify as a female’ is now able to compete with females and dominate women’s athletics. It just doesn’t make sense,” he added.

Barack Obama’s DNI Clapper Told Intel Leaders to Compromise Standards for Trump-Russia Report

Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper pressed the intelligence community to maintain a unified narrative that Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help President Trump, even as the National Security Agency raised concerns about the process, according to newly declassified top secret emails.

The emails, disclosed Wednesday by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, reveal that Clapper described the Obama administration’s effort to finalize a revised intelligence community assessment on “Russia Election Meddling” as a “team sport” that might require the community to “compromise” its standards.

The correspondence shows former National Security Agency Director Mike Rogers warning that his agency lacked adequate access to the intelligence underpinning the report’s conclusions.

In a Dec. 22, 2016, email to Clapper, former CIA Director John Brennan, and former FBI Director James Comey, Rogers wrote that his team had concerns about the pace of the process and the lack of transparency.

“I know that this activity is on a fast-track and that folks have been working very hard to put together a product that can be provided to the President,” Rogers wrote.

After millions of taxpayer dollars and months of crippling issues, city-funded grocery store in Missouri abruptly closes its doors

When those who don’t know history inevitably repeat it, the greatest offense is not their profound ignorance (which is seriously painful), but it’s that their obliviousness has real consequences for those of us who know better.

Government by its very nature is, at best, a “necessary evil,” and in its worst state, “an intolerable one.” And, leftist ideologies, like communism, certainly fall under the “worst state” category. Now, after millions and millions of taxpayer dollars and months of issues—like completely bare shelves, a “rancid odor” that filled the store, and rampant crime—one of the nation’s only taxpayer-funded grocery stores has closed up shop, citing circumstances “beyond our control,” offering no further explanation. (Hint: It’s the s**t idea, that’s the circumstance that caused the closure, and it is within control: don’t think like a dummy.)

Have government-run grocery stores ever been tried? Yes, of course.

The Soviet Union had an expansive network…and these were characterized by long lines, empty shelves, and rations. This era of history also includes the Ukraine famine of the 1930s, which saw the starvation of millions of souls after Joseph Stalin collectivized the farms.

Mao’s communist China was responsible for one of the “greatest man-made disasters” in history when his regime bungled food distribution so badly that tens of millions (some estimates put the number upwards of 55 million) of his own people starved to death in what’s known as the Great Chinese Famine.
