South Carolina Authorities Say There is “No Evidence” of Arson as Democrats Blame Trump, Stephen Miller and MAGA After Judge’s House Explodes, Burns Down

There is no evidence of arson as Democrats blamed President Trump, Stephen Miller and MAGA after South Carolina circuit court judge Diane Goodstein’s house exploded and burned down over the weekend.

“At this time, there is no evidence to indicate the fire was intentionally set. SLED agents have preliminarily found there is no evidence to support a pre-fire explosion,” a statement from State Law Enforcement Division said.

South Carolina Judge Diane Goodstein and Former State Senator Arnold Goodstein’s beachfront home in Edisto Island was burned to the ground on Saturday, sending three family members to the hospital.

St. Paul’s Fire District released a statement on the fire:

The SPFD received reports of a structure with entrapment on Edisto Island from our automatic aid partners, Edisto Beach Fire Department. Engine 1403 and Tender 1403 along with Battalion 1407 were first due followed by Edisto Beach Engine 14 and Ladder 14.

Due to our strong working relationship with the EBFD, crews went right to work extinguishing the fire and looking for occupants. This area is located on a barrier island with significant challenges such as limited water supply and tight areas.

The first arriving crews worked flawlessly together to ensure the safety of the occupants which escaped via jumping from and elevated first floor. Due to the remoteness and layout of the lot, the occupants had to be rescued from the backyard via kayaks and brought to Colleton County EMS where they received medical aid.

Democrat hacks like Rep. Dan Goldman immediately blamed Stephen Miller and “MAGA world” for the house fire.

OSHA Admits It Told Healthcare Employers Not to Report COVID Vaccine Injuries

The federal agency that oversees workplace safety exempted healthcare employers from reporting workers’ adverse reactions to mandated COVID-19 vaccines, according to a healthcare industry whistleblower who alerted The Defender

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) issued the directive on June 28, 2021, to encourage vaccination during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The directive also stated that OSHA, a division of the U.S. Department of Labor, would not track workers’ COVID-19 vaccine adverse events — even though it acknowledged that the vaccines may cause injuries that would require employees to take time off work.

OSHA continued to track reactions to other vaccines.

A Labor Department official confirmed for The Defender that OSHA didn’t track COVID-19 vaccine injuries, and said those policies remained in place until February 2025.

OSHA also outlined its COVID-19 reporting policy on its website’s frequently asked questions page for COVID-19, which stated:

“OSHA does not wish to have any appearance of discouraging workers from receiving COVID-19 vaccination, and also does not wish to disincentivize employers’ vaccination efforts. As a result, OSHA does not intend to enforce … recording requirements to require any employers to record worker side effects from COVID-19 vaccination.”

The policy was removed from the website after The Defender contacted OSHA earlier this month. However, it is visible on an archived version of the webpage from Sept. 1, under the heading, “Vaccine Related.”

Zowe Smith, a former medical coder for an Arizona hospital, called OSHA’s policy “especially inflammatory” and “an admission they know the vaccine is not safe and carries a risk of injury serious enough to affect one’s ability to work.”

Legal and medical experts suggested OSHA’s policies may have concealed the true extent of COVID-19 vaccine-related injuries in the U.S., denied American healthcare workers informed consent and violated federal law.

Policies implemented under the Biden administration forced millions of U.S. healthcare workers to choose between getting the experimental COVID-19 vaccine or losing their jobs.

Devastating COVID-19 Vaccine Side Effect Confirmed by New Data: Study

In one of the greatest violations of medical ethics in modern history, a new study from South Korea has uncovered devastating consequences from promoting and mandating the COVID-19 injections on the population.

These shots were pushed on babies and pregnant women, directly contradicting the ethical rule against introducing new medical interventions to such vulnerable groups before long-term effects are fully understood.

But they weren’t just aggressively promoted; they were enforced. Refusing the COVID-19 injection could cost you your job, bar you from concerts, businesses, and museums, and, in some cases, even deny you a life-saving surgery unless you complied with the mandate.

Now, as many doctors long warned, the consequences of such reckless health policy are surfacing, and one of the most alarming outcomes is a dramatic rise in cancer risk.

A large-scale population study out of South Korea has now found a 27% overall increase in cancer linked to the COVID-19 injections that were marketed as “safe and effective.”

Dr. John Campbell noted: “There’s a one in a thousand chance that this result arose by chance.” He illustrated the overall cancer rise with a stark graph, as seen in the short video below:

There’s no doubt anymore: Here’s the official profile of the violent political left…

Every few years, a new study drops that completely shatters whatever lies the left has been selling about “political extremism.” This is the group who tried to make MAGA grannies into “insurrectionists.”

So, this new 2025 survey does exactly that… it blows their lies into smithereens and exposes the real face of political violence in America. Spoiler alert: it’s not coming from the MAGA crowd, but you already knew that, right?

The data lays it out in black and white. Today’s violent extremists aren’t the uneducated, gun-toting conservatives the media loves to mock and demonize. They’re highly educated, mostly young, and overwhelmingly liberal. These are the so-called “progressives,” the ones who lecture everyone about “tolerance” and their precious “democracy,” yet one out of three openly admits to supporting violence if it serves their political goals.

And they’re doing exactly that, as we speak.

Meathead Rob Reiner Now Pushing Insane Conspiracy Theories About Trump and the 2026 Midterms

Rob Reiner really needs help.

After the 2024 election, he reportedly checked himself into a quiet place to calm down and get his mind together. He should go back there. They obviously did not do enough to heal his broken mind.

This weekend he appeared on MSNBC and pushed crazy conspiracy theories about the 2026 midterms and Trump using the military to control polling places and voting machines.

It is so irresponsible of MSNBC to platform this insane person and take him seriously. He is just making up scenarios in his head and then convincing himself that this is reality.

FOX News has details:

Actor and director Rob Reiner claimed the United States has only one year before tuning into a “full-on autocracy,” suggesting on MSNBC’s “Velshi” Sunday that President Donald Trump will attempt to steal the upcoming election.

Reiner argued that the country under the Trump administration has already moved “beyond McCarthy era-esque” and must be taken back before it’s too late.

“Make no mistake; we have a year before this country becomes a full-on autocracy, and democracy completely leaves us,” Reiner said. “And we’re looking at the election in 2026, and Donald Trump knows that in a free and fair election, he will lose. He will lose the House, the House will flip and will become in Democratic hands. There will be committee chairs who will be able to hold meetings, and this is the last thing he wants.”…

“Don’t be surprised when polling booths are surrounded by American military in the guise of making sure that the elections are fair and that nobody is tampering with anything,” Reiner said.

“And when you see violence breaking out, which there’ll be protests, there’ll be inciting violence, there’ll be some violence, and they’ll keep that. Then you’ll see the commandeering of voting machines, ballot boxes to make sure that that election is secure. Well, what that means is that he will then commandeer the election,” he added.

Russian tycoon dies in mysterious window fall tragedy

Russian police are investigating yet another prominent figure who fell to his death from a window in western Moscow.

The secretive head of Pravda publishing house, Vyacheslav Leontyev, 87, fell 70ft from his home on Saturday evening.

He was the former head of Soviet newspaper Pravda, meaning Truth, which was the main organ of the ruling Communist Party. He continued this role long after the collapse of the USSR in 1991.

Leontyev was seen as knowledgeable about the secret wealth of the Kremlin.

Police are investigating whether it was an accident, suicide or foul play, but it’s the latest in a series of deaths by a window fall in Russia.

Exiled journalist Andrey Malgin wrote about the ‘strange death’, saying: ‘The window falls continue. Leontyev fell from a window. He was found near his home on Molodogvardeyskaya Street, where he lived.’

“Civil War Rematch”!? Chicago Mayor Establishes “ICE-Free Zones” After Abandoning Border Agents Under Attack

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson signed an executive order Monday blocking federal immigration agents from using city-owned property for immigration enforcement operations – just one day after we learned that the city ‘waved off’ cops responding to a vehicle-ramming attack on Border Patrol agents over the weekend.

Johnson has established “ICE-free zones,” referring to US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) – as part of his ‘Protecting Chicago Initiative.’

“Today, we are signing an executive order aimed at reining in this out-of-control administration,” Johnson said during a Monday press conference. “The order establishes ICE-free zones. That means that city property and unwilling private businesses will no longer serve as staging grounds for these raids.”

“The Trump administration must end the war on Chicago,” Johnson continued. “The Trump administration must end this war against Americans. The Trump administration must end its attempt to dismantle our democracy.”

Johnson has directed Chicago agencies and departments to identify spaces within the next five days that have been targeted during ICE raids and post a clear message to federal immigration officers that the city-owned property would not be used for immigration enforcement, including as a staging area, processing location or operations base. -Fox News

The move follows a Monday lawsuit from Gov. JB Pritzker attempting to block the Trump administration from deploying National Guard troops in Chicago.

Johnson accused the “extreme right” of refusing to accept the results of the Civil War (!?) when slavery – a Democrat thing – was abolished.

“They have repeatedly called for a rematch, but in the coming weeks, we will use this opportunity to build greater resistance. Chicagoans are clear that militarizing our troops in our city as justification to further escalate a war in Chicago will not be tolerated,” he said.

“The right wing in this country wants a rematch of the Civil War,” Johnson continued.

Whoops—Ohio Accidentally Excludes Most Major Porn Platforms From Anti-Porn Law

Remember when people used to say “Epic FAIL”? I’m sorry, but there’s no other way to describe Ohio’s new age verification law, which took effect on September 30.

A variation on a mandate that’s been sweeping U.S. statehouses, this law requires online platforms offering “material harmful to juveniles”—by which authorities mean porn—to check photo IDs or use “transactional data” (such as mortgage, education, and employment records) to verify that all visitors are adults.

But lawmakers have written the law in such a way that it excludes most major porn publishing platforms.

“This is why you don’t rush [age verification] bills into an omnibus,” commented the Free Speech Coalition’s Mike Stabile on Bluesky.

Ohio Republican lawmakers introduced a standalone age verification bill back in February, but it languished in a House committee. A similar bill introduced in 2024 also failed to advance out of committee.

The version that wound up passing this year did so as part of the state’s omnibus budget legislation (House Bill 96). This massive measure—more than 3,000 pages—includes a provision that any organization that “disseminates, provides, exhibits, or presents any material or performance that is obscene or harmful to juveniles on the internet” must verify that anyone attempting to view that material is at least 18 years old.

The bill also states that such organizations must “utilize a geofence system maintained and monitored by a licensed location-based technology provider to dynamically monitor the geolocation of persons.”

Existing Ohio law defines material harmful to juveniles as “any material or performance describing or representing nudity, sexual conduct, sexual excitement, or sado-masochistic abuse” that “appeals to the prurient interest of juveniles in sex,” is “patently offensive to prevailing standards in the adult community as a whole with respect to what is suitable for juveniles,” and “lacks serious literary, artistic, political, and scientific value for juveniles.”

Under the new law, online distributors of “material harmful to juveniles” that don’t comply with the age check requirement could face civil actions initiated by Ohio’s attorney general.

Supporters of the law portrayed it as a way to stop young Ohioans from being able to access online porn entirely. But the biggest purveyors of online porn—including Pornhub and similar platforms, which allow users to upload as well as view content—seem to be exempt from the law.

Among the organizations exempted from age verification requirements are providers of “an interactive computer service,” which is defined by Ohio lawmakers as having the same meaning as it does under federal law.

The federal law that defines “interactive computer service”—Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act—says it “means any information service, system, or access software provider that provides or enables computer access by multiple users to a computer server, including specifically a service or system that provides access to the Internet and such systems operated or services offered by libraries or educational institutions.”

That’s a bit of a mouthful, but we have decades of jurisprudence parsing that definition. And it basically means any platform where third parties can create accounts and can generate content, from social media sites to dating apps, message boards, classified ads, search engines, comment sections, and much more.

Platforms like Pornhub unambiguously fall within this category.

In fact, Pornhub is not blocking Ohio users as it has in most other states with age verification laws for online porn, because its parent company, Aylo, does not believe the law applies to it.

“As a provider of an ‘interactive computer service’ as defined under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, it is our understanding that we are not subject to the obligations under section 1349.10 of the Ohio Revised Code regarding mandated age verification for the ‘interactive computer services’ we provide, such as Pornhub,” Aylo told Mashable.

Trump Threatens To Bomb Iran Again, Says He’s ‘Not Going To Wait So Long’

President Trump on Sunday said that he would bomb Iran again if the country restarts its nuclear program, warning the US was “not going to wait so long this time,” a threat that comes amid growing signs that another US-Israeli war against Iran may be coming.

“The B2s, what they did. Those beautiful flying wings, what they did, they hit every single target. And just in case, we shot 30 Tomahawks out of a submarine,” Trump said in a speech at Naval Station Norfolk in Virginia, during a celebration of the US Navy’s 250th birthday, referring to the US bombing of Iran’s nuclear facilities on June 22.

Trump claimed in the speech that Iran was going to have a nuclear weapon “within a month,” but before Israel launched the war, US intelligence determined Tehran was not pursuing a nuclear weapon, and even if it chose to, it would take years to actually develop a deliverable weapon.

“They were going to have a nuclear weapon within a month,” Trump told a crowd of US Navy sailors. “And now they can start the operation all over again, but I hope they don’t because we’ll have to take care of that too if they do, I let them know that. You want to do that, it’s fine, but we’re going to take care of that and we’re not going to wait so long.”

Trump went on to say that he had B-2 pilots visit him in the Oval Office, who said the US had been working on plans to bomb Iran’s nuclear facilities for 22 years, but that no president before him wanted to do it.

The president has previously acknowledged that he bombed Iran on behalf of Israel. “Look, nobody has done more for Israel than I have, including the recent attacks with Iran, wiping that thing out,” he said in an interview with the Daily Caller published on September 1.

Since the ceasefire that ended the 12-day US-Israeli war on Iran, Trump has threatened to bomb Iran again several times. At the same time, the Trump administration is demanding that Iran enter negotiations to give up its nuclear enrichment program and place limits on its ballistic missiles, demands that Iranian officials have made clear are a non-starter.

SNP minister accused of ‘rank hypocrisy’ after boasting about his woodburning stove just days after voting against protecting them for others

An SNP minister has been accused of ‘rank hypocrisy’ after boasting about his woodburning stove just days after voting against protecting them for others.

Jim Fairlie posted a picture of the heater on Facebook at the weekend after Storm Amy knocked out the power to his all- electric house for several days.

‘Thankfully we’ve the wee stove keeping us warm,’ the agriculture minister wrote.

But only last week Perthshire-based Mr Fairlie, as part of the Scottish Government’s rural team, voted with SNP colleagues to defeat a Tory proposal to safeguard woodburners.

Highlands & Islands MSP Jamie Halcro Johnston, who forced the Government to U-turn last year on a proposed woodburner ban in new homes, wanted to protect them long-term.

Mr Halcro Johnston said: ‘It beggars belief to see a Scottish Government minister voting against protections for woodburners in rural and island homes during the week, then message their constituents about the benefits of having one the very weekend when the power goes down.

‘Thousands of homes lost their power over the last few days and were left reliant on the kind of heating that Mr Fairlie enjoys but doesn’t think others should have.

‘Last year, when the SNP/Green coalition attempted to ban stoves in newbuilds, I championed them for these very reasons.

‘I was pleased that we forced them to U-turn then, but was disappointed when Jim Fairlie joined his SNP colleagues last week in voting against my proposed protections that would ensure cack-handed attempts to outlaw woodburners couldn’t happen again without the full scrutiny from the Scottish parliament.

‘To vote against something on Tuesday and sing its praises by Saturday is rank hypocrisy. I know how angry it has made many of my constituents across the Highlands and Islands.’

Mr Halcro Johnson’s amendments to the Housing Bill would have meant woodburners and other ‘direct-emission heating systems’ avoided future bans by creating a ‘presumption in favour’ of such back-ups in island, rural and remote homes.

He told MSPs it would ensure people still had the means to heat, cook and have hot water when ‘essential connections’ were lost.

He said he knew ‘all too well’ how important a backup could be, as he had once been snowed into his Orkney home for five days and his woodburning stove saved the day.

‘It is important that remote, rural and island homes have access to viable and reliable secondary heating options,’ he told Holyrood.

‘They are not luxury items in our homes or just something that looks nice in the corner of the room. They help to keep people safe, warm and alive in the worst of conditions.’

But Housing Secretary Mairi McAllan objected, saying the change would ‘restrict policy making in any future attempt to regulate heating systems’.

She said the Government already protected backup heating systems in rural homes ‘for exactly the circumstances that have been referred to.’

She added: ‘Voting against this amendment is not a vote against wood-burning stoves or other secondary heating systems, because the amendment is not needed to protect their use – it is simply unnecessary.’

Mr Halcro Johnson said the existing regulations on the issue were flawed.

But MSPs, including Mr Fairlie, rejected his proposals by 70 votes to 38.

The ban on woodburning stoves in new-build homes was scrapped last November after a backlash from industry, rural communities, opposition parties and some SNP politicians.

Deputy First Minister Kate Forbes was among those to raise concerns about the ban, citing the impact it could have on older people in her Skye, Lochaber and Badenoch constituency.

A Scottish Government spokesman said: ‘There are no restrictions on the use of wood-burning stoves in Scotland, in either new or existing homes.’
