New York Teacher Has a Very Communist Solution for Keeping Businesses in the Big Apple

Let’s see how things are going in the communist utopia of New York, a month after Democratic Socialist Zohran Mamdani was sworn in as mayor. Nearly two weeks after a massive winter storm hit the Big Apple, mountains of garbage line the still snow-covered streets (but not around Gracie Mansion, of course), and at least a dozen homeless people have frozen to death after Mamdani refused to force them into warming shelters despite the bitter cold. There were also blackouts, which is great when it’s freezing outside.

Oh, and the number of antisemitic incidents in the city has skyrocketed, and Mamdani is siding with criminals who try to kill cops. 

Add to that his advisors, who are racist and oppose private home ownership, plus a progressive tax plan that will seize wealth from New Yorkers, and it’s a recipe for a mass exodus from the city.

But for one commie New York teacher, the solution to stopping businesses and wealthy New Yorkers from leaving the city is just to…seize the business and make it illegal to leave (some of us would call that “imprisonment”).

Democrats involved in ‘illegal orders’ video say they won’t cooperate with DOJ probe

Two Democrats who participated in a video that urged members of the military and the intelligence community not to follow illegal orders are refusing to comply with an investigation by the Justice Department.

Sen. Elissa Slotkin, D-Mich., said in a post Thursday that she sent a letter informing Attorney General Pam Bondi and the U.S. attorney for Washington, D.C., Jeanine Pirro, that she would not comply with the Justice Department’s inquiries or their request that she sit for an interview about the video.

Slotkin said the Trump administration is “purposely using physical and legal intimidation to get me to shut up.”

“But more importantly, they’re using that intimidation to deter others from speaking out against their administration. The intimidation is the point, and I’m not going to go along with that,” she said in her post.

Rep. Chrissy Houlahan, D-Pa., said in her own post Thursday that she would also refuse to comply with the Justice Department’s “request for me to submit to a voluntary interview” about the video.

“I will not be doing that,” Houlahan said. She continued, “What is happening now crosses a line when the power of the federal government is turned toward intimidating people.”

Six members of Congress, all of whom served in either the military or intelligence services, posted a 90-second video in November telling members of the military to refuse illegal orders, spurring a series of social media posts from President Donald Trump condemning the move.

Slotkin, Houlahan and Reps. Jason Crow, D-Colo., and Maggie Goodlander, D-N.H., all reported last month that federal prosecutors had contacted them about the video.

Asked about the lawmakers’ defiance of the Justice Department’s probe, Pirro’s office declined to comment.

The Justice Department has not yet responded to a request for comment.

Slotkin said her letter urged Bondi and Pirro “to retain their records on this case, in case I decide to sue for infringement of my constitutional rights.”

She said Thursday that Trump’s continued social media posts about the six lawmakers who posted the video led to “threats [that] went through the roof to myself, my family, my staff.”

Minneapolis has been on fire since Good and Pretti were shot and killed by law enforcement for stupidly trying to impede their operations. They weren’t executed. But the deportations will continue, which means crazed white liberals calling black ICE agents the n-word will also become routine. What sick people—and this isn’t the first time. I didn’t know Candyland had moved north.

I don’t know what this is, folks. It’s a mess.

“You’re next n****r”—is that a threat, or some cheap historic throwback to when hunting parties were amassed to find escaped slaves? What arrogance you must have to think you’re so right that you have some pass to use the n-word as a white person. It’s not intimidation. It’s lunacy, and we’re all both shocked and chuckling inside. GOP senator excoriates NY Times for bad reporting on Arctic Frost, IDs reporters by name

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley on Thursday slammed the New York Times over its reporting on whistleblowers, which he claimed intended to discredit real whistleblowers who were shedding light on misconduct.

Grassley said the series of reports, which were done by New York Times reporters Glenn Thrush, Alan Feuer and Adam Goldman, date back to 2023 when Goldman wrote a report that was “designed to undermine my exposure of former FBI agent [Timothy] Thibault’s political conduct.”

“Goldman wrote his article before knowing all the facts,” Grassley claimed during floor remarks. “For one, Thibault was found to have violated the Hatch Act for anti-Trump political conduct at work. Second, Goldman’s article didn’t account for emails I released last year showing Thibault violated the FBI’s rules in opening and advancing Arctic Frost.”

Grassley said another article from last year attempted to dismiss Arctic Frost concerns by stating the FBI “took normal bureaucratic steps and precautions” when looking into the case. 

“Was this supposed to be an opinion piece on behalf of terminated FBI agents or a real news article?” Grassley questioned. “Normal steps weren’t taken.”

The senator admitted that the House and Senate are now receiving oversight documents they requested years ago, but that the production was because of cooperation from the Trump administration.

“To Attorney General [Pam] Bondi and [FBI] Director [Kash] Patel’s credit, they’ve done better in that regard than any of their predecessors,” Grassley said. “Am I fully satisfied? Of course not. But Bondi and Patel deserve credit, and if the Biden administration had done the same, I’d give them credit, too.”

Grassley also slammed the New York Times for its coverage of the Mar-a-Lago raid, accusing the outlet of mischaracterizing his post that the raid was a “miscarriage of justice,” because it did not include his full comment.

The senator additionally claimed the outlet accused his trusted whistleblowers of violating the law by disclosing subpoenas from Jack Smith, which they shared with Congress and not the media.

Here’s How We Know the Left Really Wants to Eliminate Police Body Cameras

It wasn’t too terribly long ago that the Left was demanding the widespread use of police body cams. They claimed, contrary to all evidence, that police were engaged in systemic racism and targeting Black Americans in law enforcement efforts, and that police intentionally shoot more Black suspects.

The Left was really hoping cameras would show rampant police brutality. Instead, the public got an eye-opening glimpse into the violence and danger police face on a daily basis. That’s why the narrative is shifting around body cams, with the Left now calling them “tools of propaganda” because they no longer support the Left’s narrative.

On February 2, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced ICE agents would be wearing body cams nationwide. Just two days later, New York Magazine dropped this story, attacking body cams once again.

The worst 40 minutes of April’s life are a hit on YouTube. The lengthy, humiliating clip has 195,000 views and more than a thousand comments, nearly all insults and jokes at April’s expense. It includes her full name, unobscured face, and clear voice. April can’t bring herself to watch it through, but she’s read every comment. She fantasizes, sometimes, about replying, letting everyone know that she’s no longer the person in that video. “This is April,” she would write, “and I’ve now been sober for three years.”

It happened during the pandemic, back when April’s addiction was at its worst. She was in her third year of college, and her small southern city was a sleepy place. Just about the only thing to do, she tells me, was drink. And so she drank. On the night in question, she got into a fight with her best friend: It was late, they were a few shots in, and things got heated. He stormed out, and she drove off to look for him. She was “completely tweaked.” She crashed into a parked car and was arrested on the spot. The video starts as the officer steps from his cruiser, clicking on his body camera. April looks frantic and disheveled. She protests that she’s sober and tries to talk her way out of things. That doesn’t work, and the video ends at the county jail. The commenters call her a “liar” and a “brat.”

April was sentenced to a year’s probation, and during that period, she changed a lot in her life. She took time off school and joined Alcoholics Anonymous. Her family supported her recovery, even attending her two-year celebration. Today, her life is markedly different. Three years clean, she’s finished her degree and now works as a schoolteacher. Her job is exhausting, but she has a sense of purpose: She’s fulfilling a lifelong ambition. She’s in a relationship, too, and she’s finally feeling a little more grounded.

61 Percent of Illegal Immigrant Headed Households Were on Welfare in 2024: Center for Immigration Studies

Over 60 percent of illegal immigrant-led households and 51 percent of legal immigrant households received some sort of welfare benefits in 2024, compared with just 37 percent of natural-born citizen households taking taxpayer benefits, according to a new report from the Center for Immigration Studies.

The study, released on Wednesday, paints a concerning picture of welfare use by both illegal immigrants and natural-born U.S. citizens.

“If we wish to avoid high use of welfare by the foreign-born in the future, then moving to a system that selects immigrants based on their education or skills makes it much more likely they will earn higher incomes and not need welfare. Since more than one-fifth of all immigrant households using at least one welfare program are headed by an illegal immigrant, enforcing immigration laws and reducing the size of the illegal immigrant population would also be helpful in lowering future immigrant welfare use,” said the Center for Immigration Studies.

Researchers found that 61 percent of households headed by illegal immigrants, 51 percent of those headed by legal immigrants—whether naturalized citizens or visa holders—and 37 percent of natural-born citizen households received some sort of welfare.

Anti-ICE Agitators Completely Lose Their Minds After Black ICE Agent ‘Misgenders’ One of Their Fellow Comrades

ICE officers are not letting their incredibly thankless job cause them to lose their sanity when dealing with unhinged anti-ICE activists. In fact, it is helping show the true colors of these vile agitators.

Earlier this week, independent journalist Kim “Katie” USA shared a video showing deranged protesters in Minneapolis harassing ICE agents doing their jobs before the footage takes a hilarious turn.

The video opens with the agitators dropping a series of F-bombs and taunting ICE agents. Two are even seen approaching a car, taunting ICE agents over the last month’s fatal shootings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti.

Then a person, possibly transgender, starts following around a black ICE agent, pestering him with a series of gotcha questions:

“How does it feel abducting people from their family? Is that good?”

“Does that make you feel good about yourself?”

“Is that your kind of energy that we should rip people apart from their families?”

After hearing the last question, the ICE agent turned around and asked the agitator a question that caught all the protesters off guard and sent them into a wild frenzy:

“Are you a man?!”

A bombshell new report from ISGAP Action, a nonpartisan organization focused on combating antisemitism, is putting Democrat Rep. Rashida Tlaib (MI-12) in a glaring spotlight, accusing the congresswoman of maintaining a disturbing pattern of ties to individuals and organizations linked to U.S.-designated terrorist groups.

Groups such as Hamas and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).

The ISGAP briefing details everything, from her campaign shelling out nearly $600,000 to a consulting firm run by an activist with deep connections to terror-aligned networks, to sharing stages with convicted PFLP operatives who’ve praised violent resistance.

“Key areas of concern include her participation in conferences organized by or featuring individuals affiliated with U.S.-designated terror organizations,” they write. “For instance, Tlaib has shared the stage with Wisam Rafeedie, a convicted PFLP operative, and spoken at events where banners of Samidoun (a group designated as a terror proxy by the U.S. government) were prominently displayed.”

“Her comments at these events have included the glorification of ‘martyrs’ and calls for continued resistance, aligning her rhetoric with the ideological framework of jihadist organizations.”

The PFLP is well known for having claimed responsibility for the deadly bombing of a 17-year-old girl.
