Canadian Liberal Who Championed Mass Migration Questions Election Results After Losing Race to Immigrant

Nate Erskine-Smith, a former Canadian Minister of Housing, Infrastructure, and Communities who served under both Prime Ministers Justin Trudeau and Mark Carney, was supposed to be a shoo-in for the nomination for a by-election in Ontario for the left-wing Liberal Party.

Instead, the open-borders advocate got beaten by a Bangladeshi immigrant pizza shop owner — and he’s complaining about ID issues while voting. Whoa, pal, getting into a bit of denialism there, aren’t you?

Erskine-Smith, who had been a member of Parliament for a neighboring seat — or “riding,” as they’re known in Canada’s idiot nomenclature — had meant the nomination in the Scarborough Southwest riding to be “a first checkpoint en route to the party’s leadership,” according to the Oakville, Ontario, News.

One hopes he has an alternative checkpoint to start off his journey there, because he got beaten by Ahsanul Hafiz.

“After a full day of ranked ballot voting to select the riding’s Liberal candidate in the upcoming provincial byelection, Hafiz emerged victorious with 718 votes, followed by Beaches-East York Liberal MP Nathaniel Erskine-Smith with 699 votes by the third ballot of the ranked count. Other candidates seeking nomination were Qadira Jackson and Mahmuda Nasrin,” Beach Metro reported Saturday.

“I’m honored to have the support of Scarborough Southwest Liberals and I’m ready to get to work,” Hafiz said after the win.

“This community deserves a strong voice at Queen’s Park that understands the challenges people are facing and is focused on delivering real results for local families.”

Hafiz came to Canada roughly 25 years ago on a student visa and is now “a businessman owning about 30 Domino’s Pizza shops across the province,” Oakville News reported. This might have actually been a good outcome otherwise, since, you know, he works for a living, as opposed to having spent most of his 40-odd years on this planet Earth just mindlessly climbing the rungs of the Liberal Party hierarchy.

However, this whole thing is rich on a number of levels, beginning with Hafiz telling his supporters that certain opportunities “do not exist” for immigrants to Canada. What, they might only have to settle for 15 Domino’s franchises?

“Like many of you, I came here as an immigrant,” he said before the voting. “Ontario is not moving forward. I want to help build the same opportunities that were available to me.”

However, Erskine-Smith is crying foul. According to the CBC, Hafiz and fellow candidate Qadira Jackson apparently struck a deal to play the ranked-choice system, urging their supporters to put the other candidate as No. 2 so that the guy who used to be in the Trudeau and Carney governments wasn’t back there.

He wasn’t leftist enough for the Liberals. Let that one sink in.

And then there’s Erskine-Smith, who said he would need to “debrief” with his team about possible fraud after the loss.

“At one table, it was 50 per cent of the people that had ID issues, saying they lost driver’s licenses and that they lived in the area, so I don’t know,” Erskine-Smith said. “It’s unfair for me to specifically speculate.”

NBA Legend Magic Johnson’s Gushing Endorsement of Failed LA Mayor Karen Bass Totally Backfires After X Users Uncover This Damning Fact

NBA all-time great and self-made billionaire Magic Johnson made a completely boneheaded political decision that is coming back to haunt him after X users pointed out an inconvenient truth.

On Sunday, Johnson issued a gushing endorsement of failed LA mayor Karen Bass in a video posted on her X account. After first noting their personal connection (Johnson has known Bass for three decades), Johnson lavished praise on her supposed ‘accomplishments,’ including her record on homelessness and crime.

Then, Bass appeared on screen. In a clearly rehearsed stunt, the two embraced before Johnson slobbered over Bass some more.

“Listen, you took on a tough job here, and you’ve done a fabulous job, and all of us appreciate your effort and what you’re doing, and we look forward to helping you continue your mission and the things that you have in store, your vision for the city,” he tells her. “And tell me what I need to do.”

Bass then praises Johnson in response before the retired basketball star hails her for creating jobs as the video ends.

After the video went viral, X users quickly discovered that Johnson lives in a huge mansion in Beverly Park, a gated community in Beverly Hills. Perfectly cordoned off from all of the problems that ordinary Angelinos face.

Moreover, Beverly Hills is its own city and has its own mayor. This means he cannot even vote for Bass for mayor.

There’s also another factor regarding Johnson’s home: it lies in a high fire-hazard severity zone, just like Pacific Palisades, which burned under Bass’s watch. Giving her the seal of approval is like having the arsonist serve as the firefighter.

Just imagine if Bass gets re-elected and, during her second term in office, Johnson and his neighbors’ homes get torched in an inferno. Talk about digging your own grave.

The Gun Control Leftists Are Now Lionizing Luigi Mangione

During the most recent episode of HBO’s Real Time, host Bill Maher targeted the left for pivoting from supporting gun control to supporting Luigi Mangione and other alleged assassins.

He began this portion of his monologue by saying, “And finally, Luigi Mangione, Cole Tomas Allen, Tyler Robinson, and the ghost of Thomas Crooks must form a boy band called ‘New Kids on the Glock.’”

Mangione allegedly shot and killed UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson on Dec. 4, 2024, Cole Tomas Allen allegedly attacked the April 25, 2026, White House Correspondents Dinner while armed with a shotgun and a handgun, Tyler Robinson allegedly assassinated Turning Point USA’s Charlie Kirk on September 10, 2025, and Thomas Crooks allegedly attempted to assassinate President Trump on July 13, 2024, in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Maher observed, “These are not your father’s political assassins. Things have changed. For one thing, today’s assassins have popular support with the kids.”

Gwyneth Paltrow is facing widespread backlash after criticizing what she called “super rich white dudes” during the latest episode of “The Goop Podcast.”

The Oscar-winning actress and Goop founder, whose net worth is estimated at $200 million, sparked major reactions online after lamenting the dominance of wealthy men in tech and culture.

Many social media users quickly pointed out that Paltrow herself fits into the same category of the privileged and wealthy elite that she was denouncing.

While speaking with tech journalist Kara Swisher, Paltrow questioned how society had reached a point where wealth overshadows all other values.

“How did we get here as a culture?” she asked. “Obviously, there’s so much revenue and profit driving this whole thing. That’s at the heart of it.”

She went on to say, “How do you think we got to this place in culture where nothing matters and now all that matters is kind of these super rich White dudes who are breaking rules, setting rules, seemingly not caring so much about the downstream impact on everything, from health to culture.”

What ‘Rights’ Do They Want That They Don’t Already Have?

As we all know, the political leaders of the Democrat Party have absolutely no conscience whatsoever. Most politicians, around the world and in America (on both sides of the aisle), fall into that category, but Democrats are especially guilty of it. They lie, they propagandize, they demagogue, they cheat, they steal, they do whatever they believe is necessary to obtain and hold the power they lust for. It doesn’t matter what they need to do, how immoral it is, how egregious it is, how harmful it is to fellow Americans—if it puts them in power, they’ll do it. No conscience whatsoever. And they’ll hope sufficient Americans are blind and naïve enough (I hate to use the word “stupid,” but that’s what it amounts to) to believe their propagandistic lies.

Claiming, or implying, that certain groups don’t have the same “rights” as other (mainly white male) Americans do, is one of their major ploys. The great Thomas Sowell once wrote, “If you believe in equal rights, then what do ‘women’s rights,’ ‘gay rights,’ etc., mean? Either they are redundant or they are violations of the principle of equal rights for all.” If homosexuals or woman or blacks must have their own special set of “rights,” then that means, as Sowell so correctly points out, that “equal rights” means nothing. “Equal rights for all, special privileges for none,” Thomas Jefferson said, but that isn’t what the Democratic Party believes.

Of course, the Democrats like to claim that “gays,” “blacks,” and “women” are denied “equal rights” that other Americans have. Well, even if they are (more on that in a moment), why not insist upon “equal rights” for everybody? That would include blacks, women, homosexuals, white males, etc. Why do they need to single out certain groups? Historical grievances and inequalities are invalid unless those historical inequalities can be proven to be happening now. And that can’t be done. What are they?

The Democrats shout “women’s rights,” “gay rights,” whatever special group of “rights” they can concoct for one purpose and one purpose only—to try to obtain votes. And they lie incessantly to accomplish it. Hence, no conscience, only lust for power.

Ironic: Tennessee’s New “Racist” 9th District Will Likely Have Black Woman Replace a 76-Year-Old White Democrat

While Democrat activists occupied the Tennessee state Capitol yesterday after a vote to redraw the congressional maps following the historic Supreme Court decision in Louisanna v. Callais, a key point of irony stands out.

Yesterday, The Gateway Pundit reported on the vote that sparked pandemonium on the floor of the capitol building yesterday, as a radicalized state representative belittled State Troopers maintaining order, calling him “BOY!” and “mother f*****”, while others burned Confederate flags in the halls of the building.  But one likely outcome of the redrawn map cannot be ignored:

The 9th District will now potentially see Rep. Steve Cohen, a white Democrat, likely replaced by Charlotte Bergmann, a black female Republican.

Bergmann has previously run against Cohen in several elections dating back to 2014; however, with the new map being implemented, she has a much higher likelihood of winning the district that had previously been drawn to comply with a now-unconstitutional Voting Rights Act provision.

Bergmann is facing two GOP opponents in the primary election on August 6.

The NAACP has already filed an emergency petition to attempt to block the redistricting in hopes of keeping the white man in his seat over a black woman.  What a script!

Barack Obama Complains About ‘Politicization’ of DOJ — Then Encourages Stephen Colbert to Run For President!

Former President Barack Obama is complaining about the “politicization” of the Department of Justice, a topic about which he himself is very well versed.

During his pre-recorded appearance on the soon-to-be-canceled Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Obama went after Trump for allegedly targeting his enemies via the DOJ.

“We can’t overcome the politicization of our justice system, the awesome power of the state,” Obama complained.

“The White House shouldn’t be able to direct the Attorney General to go around prosecuting whoever the president wants prosecuted.

”The AG is the people’s lawyer, it’s not the president’s consigliere.”

“You can’t have a situation in which whoever is in charge of the government starts using that to go after their political enemies or reward their friends.”

This is particularly ironic given the Obama and Biden DOJ’s extensive record of targeting conservatives and their political opponents, most notably in the wake of the January 6th protests.

After the Democrat governor of Connecticut compared immigration enforcement to Jim Crow oppression — ironic considering Jim Crow was the Democrats’ regime — the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) replied with a disquieting list of illegal alien criminals arrested in Connecticut.

CT Mirror celebrated a gubernatorial bill signing May 4, claiming it would require federal agents to display their names or badge numbers — facilitating the already out-of-control doxxing against ICE — persecute ICE for defending themselves with lethal force, and prevent arrests at schools and churches. It appears that Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont might have made his disgusting accusations at his bill signing, when he claimed Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents are “brutal,” criticized Trump for referring to criminal illegal aliens as “criminal aliens,” and compared immigration enforcement to the historical Know-Nothing party, anti-Catholic laws, and “Jim Crow laws.” “Never before…has it been led by the White House,” he pontificated, ignoring the numerous Democrat presidents who explicitly aligned themselves with the KKK and political violence.

DHS was quick to respond to Lamont’s propaganda with a list of the despicable illegal alien criminals who were living in — and quite possibly receiving taxpayer-funded benefits in — Connecticut before ICE arrested them. The aliens’ crimes include murder, pedophilic sexual assault, and child abuse.

The New York Times’s Latte Logic of Social Collapse

Three days before a 31-year-old male stormed the White House Correspondents Dinner, hoping to assassinate President Donald Trump and members of his cabinet, the New York Times published a 35-minute video titled: “‘The Rich Don’t Play by the Rules. So Why Should I?’ Why petty theft might be the new political protest.” In it, a Times editor interviewed two other members of the media aristocracy about the moral code shared by a large swathe of young Americans.

That code justifies theft—and even violence—when harnessed to a fashionably left-wing cause. None of the participants—podcasting celebrity Hasan Piker, New Yorker writer Jia Tolentino, and Times opinion editor Nadja Spiegelman—expressed alarm at the glorification of crime. They smirked and giggled through the discussion, betraying a breezy indifference to lawbreaking.

It was striking enough that the Times published the video after reviewing the final cut. The paper was not embarrassed by the participants’ ignorance and entitlement. Nor was it troubled, apparently, by their debate over whether the December 2024 murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was “actually effective political action” or merely—and disappointingly—effective “political consciousness-raising.”

But after the assassination attempt on Trump on April 25 by yet another young megalomaniac, one might have thought that the Times would want to distance itself from its hipster commentators and their ends-justify-the-means morality.

It apparently feels no such discomfort, however, and thus has left the video online. That is fortunate. The exchange offers a more revealing window into left-wing political violence than the latest would-be assassin’s predictably disjointed manifesto. When future archeologists seek to date the moment that the demise of the West became inevitable, this artefact of peak decadence will be a strong contender.

The video’s most memorable feature is the visual contrast between the participants’ studied downtown chic and their professed identification with what Piker calls the “masses.” Tolentino’s makeup is flawless, accentuating her exotic feline beauty; her nails gleam with shell-pink lacquer; her carefully styled waves glow with tawny highlights; her low-cut denim tank top, jeans, and high-heeled boots signal urban sophisticate. This outfit may not be ideally suited to organizing the proletarian “sabotage and, sort of, engagement with property destruction” she evokes with wistful nostalgia. But it fits perfectly in the all-white Brooklyn loft where the interview was filmed.

Piker sports a powder-blue, long-sleeved Ralph Lauren shirt, complete with polo pony logo. His tennis shoes are by Adidas, the very embodiment of the “system of global capital” that he claims to want to overthrow, complete with allegations of labor abuses in its Chinese, Vietnamese, and Indonesian factories.

Admittedly, Spiegelman’s plumpness might earn her some demerits when trying to enter a Soho nightspot, but her Times affiliation can do wonders to overcome deviations from the optimal clubbing look.
