Kamala Harris’ Niece: ‘Violent White Men’ Are ‘Greatest Terrorist Threat’ to America

Vice President Kamala Harris’ niece, Meena Harrris, declared that “violent white men” are the “greatest terrorist threat” to the United States following the deadly grocery store shooting in Boulder, Colorado, later setting off a firestorm on social media by erroneously assuming the suspect, a Syrian immigrant, was white.

“The Atlanta shooting was not even a week ago. Violent white men are the greatest terrorist threat to our country,” Harris, a New York Times best-selling author, wrote in a now-deleted tweet Monday.

Earlier Monday, suspected gunman Ahmad Al Aliwi Al-Issa, 21, allegedly opened fire inside a King Soopers store, shooting dead 10 people, including active-duty police officer Eric Talley, 51, before he was taken into custody by responding officers. Al Aliwi Al-Issa, a resident of Denver who reportedly moved to the U.S. from Syria at age three, was shot in the leg during the rampage and has received medical treatment for his wounds at a hospital. He was charged with 10 counts of murder earlier Tuesday. 

Harris conceded that she removed her tweeted Tuesday because she falsely identified the suspected killer as white, claiming her assumption was predicated on “being taken into custody alive and the fact that the majority of mass shootings in the U.S. are carried out by white men.”

Joe Biden Protected by Same Guns He Wants to Ban After Boulder Shooting

President Joe Biden is protected by AR-15s and similar firearms while pushing to prohibit law-abiding Americans from owning those same guns.

Breitbart News reported that Biden responded to Monday’s Boulder, Colorado, shooting by calling for Congress to pass an “assault weapons” ban that would include a ban on “high capacity” magazines.

Biden campaigned on such a ban in the lead-up to the 2020 election. On August 12, 2019, MSNBC noted Biden expressing his commitment to banning “assault weapons” and making clear his belief that the Second Amendment is not “absolute.”

At the same, Biden is protected 24/7 by Secret Service agents armed with AR-15s and similar rifles.

NBC News reported that Biden began receiving the Secret Service protection in March 2020, while still on the campaign trail.

A source told Breitbart News such protection means Biden is protected with pistols, semiautomatic rifles–perhaps ARs and/or Sig Sauer MCX platform firearms–and there is the strong possibility of fully automatic firearms being part of the equation too. The latter consist of submachine guns on a sling, which allows them to be carried out of sight under a jacket or coat.

Biden’s push to secure an “assault weapons” ban means average Americans would be prohibited from buying rifles such as AR-15s, AK-47s, and Sig Sauer MCXs, for self-defense, while Biden would enjoy protection with those same guns around the clock.

Twitter Won’t Say if Dehumanizing Language About Whiteness Violates Rules

Twitter failed to respond to repeated requests for comment about a tweet from the Root that compared whiteness to a disease, refusing to say if the tweet violates its policies against dehumanizing language.

The social media platform updated its policy on hate speech in December last year, with a specific focus on dehumanizing language.

“Our primary focus is on addressing the risks of offline harm, and research shows that dehumanizing language increases that risk,” said Twitter in a statement announcing the change.

Yet a tweet stating “whiteness is a pandemic,” from a verified account with over 600,000 remains on the platform.

Dem Rep. Sanchez: Not ‘Appropriate’ for Journalists to See Inside Border Facilities Holding Children

Representative Linda Sanchez (D-CA) Thursday on CNN’s “Newsroom” that it was not appropriate for journalists to be inside centers that are housing the surge of unaccompanied children crossing the U.S.-Mexico border.

Anchor Poppy Harlow asked, “My last question is so transparency … All of our reporters down there have been asking nonstop to get into these facilities where Alejandro Mayorkas said are not meant for children. Are you concerned over the lack of transparency?”

Sanchez said, “I will tell you under the Trump administration, members of Congress were not allowed inside these facilities.”

Harlow interjected, “But that doesn’t mean anything now, respectfully congresswoman. Clearly, you were upset about that lack of transparency. Are you concerned about this lack of transparency?”

Sanchez said, “Sure. Well, again, when you ever have the numbers and the facilities appropriate for children, but because of COVID protocols, you have to have social distancing. So they are trying to process children as quickly as they can, and, no, these detention facilities at the border were not meant for children. Children are meant to be in licensed facilities. But because of the numbers and because of the social distancing that is required, they are doing the best that they can. I don’t necessarily think that it is appropriate for journalists to be inside centers that are not permanent places for children, that children are not placed there permanently. They are processed out of those facilities as quickly as possible and as quickly as the facilities will allow.”

Harlow pressed, “Some of them are being held there longer than they are legally supposed to be.”

John Kerry Caught Flouting Airline Mask Rule While Flying First Class

Joe Biden’s ‘Climate Envoy’ John Kerry violated CDC mandates by removing his mask almost immediately after boarding a first class flight from Boston to DC.

The former Secretary of State didn’t even wait until the plane took off before removing his face covering in violation of both American Airlines’ policy and a CDC mandate requiring masks on flights.

As the Tennessee Star highlighted, Kerry literally let the mask slip as he began to read a book.

“He was not eating, nor drinking. He was simply flaunting Biden’s mandatory mask policy,” tweeted reporter Neil W. McCabe.
