It Looks Like the Southern Poverty Law Center Wasn’t Only Funding White Supremacists

Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-GA) is already in a precarious position when it comes to keeping his seat in the upcoming midterm elections. His relationship with the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) might make things even worse.

Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings revealed that the SPLC contributed over $700,000 to his campaign during the 2020 race, according to Fox News. Oddly enough, this places Ossoff in the same category as the Ku Klux Klan and other white supremacist groups whose leaders have received oodles of cash from the organization.

Ossoff and the SPLC have a longstanding relationship. The organization was so zealous in their advocacy for the center that it even dedicated a page on its website to him.

The Justice Department brought an 11-count indictment against the Southern Poverty Law Center in April, alleging that it secretly used donor money to pay informants inside potentially violent extremist organizations. The DOJ claims the organization concealed those payments and lied to financial institutions.

The organization faces charges of wire fraud, making false statements to a federally insured bank, and conspiracy to commit concealment money laundering. Investigators claim the group opened bank accounts in the names of “fictitious entities” so it could pay the informants without anyone knowing where the money was really coming from.

The SPLC then allegedly used the accounts to route more than $3 million in contributions to informants between 2014 and 2023 who occupied leadership roles in groups that the SPLC publicly labeled as dangerous hate groups.

Barack Obama Hawks His Hideous Presidential Center on “Star Wars Day” Alongside Mark Hamill in Absolutely Cringeworthy Video and The Replies are Brutal

Former President Barack Obama is getting dragged online after using “Star Wars Day” to showcase his ghastly presidential center with woke actor Mark Hamill aka “Luke Skywalker” joining him.

As TGP readers may know, fans of the space saga use May 4 every year to celebrate the creation of the franchise and their favorite characters.

“Star Wars Day” has also become a popular cultural event with sports teams, politicians, and the International Space Station participating.

Obama, though, used the moment to provide an update on the center. But he forced viewers to endure an incredibly cringeworthy and lie-filled exchange with Hamill first.

In the video, Obama is seen bragging about himself while pretending he’s speaking about ordinary people. Then, he has the audacity to claim that his presidential center is absolutely not for his legacy, “but a gateway to yours.”

“The Obama Presidential Center is much more than a museum,” he adds. “It is an entire campus built to empower you.”

Hamill acts like an idiot throughout and provides even more cringeworthy dialogue.

OBAMA: Happy Star Wars Day from the Obama Presidential Center.

HAMILL: I have a very good feeling about this.

OBAMA: Mark, I am glad you are here, I want to tell you about someone…A young person born into ordinary circumstances, but restless…A kid with big dreams, a bit of a rebel.

HAMILL: I like where this is going.

OBAMA: They join a scrappy group of underdogs and set out to change things.

HAMILL: By blowing up a giant space laser?!

OBAMA: Mark, this isn’t about you…This is about them (pointing to the camera)

This isn’t a monument to my legacy, this is a gateway to yours.

The Obama Presidential Center is much more than a museum. It is an entire campus built to empower you.

A place to come together, get inspired, and become a force…For change. See what I did there.

HAMILL: Strong, the dad jokes are.

OBAMA: That’s perfect!

The video reveals toward the end that tickets to visit the presidential center go on sale on May 6. It is scheduled to open on June 19.

X users completely roasted Obama and Hamill in the comments. Many also noted how similar the building is to The Death Star.

Tim Walz’s Daughter Just As Dumb As Dad on Gun Control

Gov. Tim Walz was in a position to become vice president. I think I speak for most of us when I say that I’m glad he’s still governor of Minnesota. It’s not because he’s been stellar at his job there, mind you, as the Minneapolis day care scandal, and Walz’s reaction to it, amply illustrates that he sucks at it. It’s because it means he and Kamala Harris aren’t in charge in Washington.

Both were terrible on gun issues, despite Walz trying to portray himself as a macho man who could out shoot any of us. In fact, when he tried to act big and bad, he just embarassed himself.

When it comes to guns, though, it seems the apple doesn’t fall very far from the tree.

Hope Walz, the daughter of disgraced Minnesota governor and failed vice presidential candidate Tim Walz, called for gun control this week in the aftermath of another attempted assassination attempt on President Donald Trump.

“Gun control doesn’t just save Democrats’ lives. It also saves Republican lives,” she said in a TikTok video posted this week, apparently attempting to position herself as a leftist taking moral high ground.

“You’d think we’d be at a point now where we could call for some common sense legislation, but I don’t know. I don’t know,” she said sarcastically. “Also here to say that political violence is never ok. Duh. That’s the difference between us and them. It’s never ok.”

Walz continued, “But there’s something we can do about it: common sense gun legislation.”

She ultimately called on her audience to “do something about that for everybody’s sake.”

“For everybody’s sake, yeah. Yeah. Happy Tuesday,” she added. “Feeling a little anxious today, but we’re going to get through it.”

Notably, this is the same “anxious” Walz who described Trump’s previous crackdown on crime in the nation’s capital as nothing more than “bitch baby, wussy, scaredy cat behavior.”

Fascinating, ain’t it?

Look, I agree that political violence isn’t OK. I’ll point out, though, that the left hasn’t exactly been showing any belief in that position. How many have been upset that Thomas Crooks missed, or that this guy didn’t get a shot at the president? How many celebrated the assassinations of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson and Charlie Kirk?

Yeah, don’t do the “That’s the difference between us and them” bit. It’s not going to fly.

Chinese engineer stole US military and NASA software for years

International espionage isn’t always about sophisticated malware and zero-day bugs. Sometimes it’s as simple as pretending to be someone else asking for a favor.

For four years, a Chinese aerospace engineer did just that. Dozens of researchers at NASA, the US military, and major universities handed him exactly what he asked for, and possibly violated US laws in the process.

His name is Song Wu. He’s been on the FBI’s wanted list since September 2024, charged with 14 counts of wire fraud and 14 counts of aggravated identity theft, and he’s still at large.

Wu’s day job was as an engineer at the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), a Beijing-headquartered state-owned aerospace and defense conglomerate with over 400,000 employees. The US has AVIC and several subsidiaries on a sanctions list.

His side hustle was simpler. From January 2017 through December 2021, Wu set up email accounts impersonating real US researchers and engineers, then emailed their colleagues asking for source code and proprietary software. He targeted employees at NASA, the Air Force, Navy, Army, and FAA, and faculty at universities across the US.

When software is a weapon

The applications Wu was after handle aerospace engineering and computational fluid dynamics. It’s the kind of intellectual property that helps develop advanced tactical missiles and evaluate weapons performance, and it sits squarely inside US export controls, according to NASA’s Office of the Inspector General. Sharing it with the wrong person, even by accident, is a federal problem.

Some victims did transmit the requested code. They were, in the OIG’s careful phrasing, “unwittingly” violating export control law.

How a four-year campaign finally broke

It wasn’t a firewall that caught Wu. It was a tip.

NASA’s Cyber Crimes Division got a report that someone had set up a Gmail account claiming to be an established aerospace professor who frequently collaborated with NASA. From that single thread, investigators unwound a campaign that had quietly targeted dozens of researchers across the federal government and academia.

The OIG also noted the giveaways: Wu asked for the same software multiple times and never explained why he needed it. Those are tells that anyone could have spotted on a slow afternoon if they’d been looking.

Dutch Sex Ed Video SPARKS Fury Over Teaching Kids Masturbation

A disturbing Dutch sex education video has exploded across X, igniting fierce backlash from parents who see it as a blatant attempt to sexualize children under the banner of “comprehensive” education.

The clip, produced by the Rutgers Foundation in the Netherlands, features facilitators in a classroom setting quizzing elementary-age kids about touching their genitals and experiencing pleasure.

Rutgers pulled the original video in 2025 after the initial outcry but the damage—and the questions—keep spreading.

The program is part of Rutgers’ “Spring Fever” (Lentekriebels) initiative, rolled out in Dutch primary schools as early as age 4. In the resurfaced footage, adults ask boys questions like “Do you ever play with your dick?” or “Do you ever touch your willie?” while probing girls on orgasms, clitorises, and vaginas.

Dutch politician Nicki Pouw-Verweij weighed in on the broader Rutgers approach: “Many parents have no problem with sex education, but they do have a problem with sex education at school. We have been teaching teenagers how to prevent STDs for decades, and that has never caused any problems. Teaching children about diversity or masturbation is something completely different.”

Britain Lacks Money to Buy New Weapons Until 2030, Senior UK Official Admits

Gen. Richard Barrons, former head of the British Joint Forces Command and co-author of the UK government’s Strategic Defense Review, told media that the country lacked the funds to purchase new weapons until at least 2030.

In June 2025, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced that London would be moving to “war preparedness” as part of its new defense strategy. The media reported on April 6 of this year that legislation to increase defense readiness would be delayed until at least mid-2027.

Barrons warned that the British armed forces can only “think about” preparing for war because they lack the money to buy new weapons until 2030 due to funding shortages, according to the publication.

The lack of investment is “depleting” the industrial base and forcing defense companies to move production overseas.

The newspaper clarified that the army barely has enough money for tanks, helicopters, and artillery, but not for loitering munitions, kamikaze drones, or artificial intelligence-based systems.

The new Strategic Defense Review (SDR) was published in June 2025 amid the UK’s plans to increase military spending to 2.5% of GDP by 2027. Specifically, the document includes a recommendation to create a nuclear warhead modernization program, to which the British leadership plans to allocate 15 billion pounds ($20 billion).

In recent years, Russia has noted unprecedented NATO activity along its western borders. The alliance is expanding its initiatives and calling it “deterring Russian aggression.” Moscow has repeatedly expressed concern about the bloc’s buildup of forces in Europe. Russian President Vladimir Putin previously emphasized that Western politicians regularly frighten their populations with an imaginary Russian threat to distract from domestic problems, but “smart people understand perfectly well that this is a fake.”

Rapper M.I.A. Kicked Off Kid Cudi Tour for Telling Audience: ‘I Never Thought I Would be Canceled for Being a Brown Republican Voter’

Kid Cudi has kicked rapper M.I.A. from his Rebel Ragers Tour after the British-Sri Lankan artist was heavily booed during a performance in Dallas over the weekend for going on a political rant that included admitting she had “been canceled for being a brown Republican voter.”

The incident occurred at the Dos Equis Pavilion, where M.I.A., whose real name is Mathangi Arulpragasam, was opening for Kid Cudi.

According to videos from the show, M.I.A. told the crowd, “I’ve been canceled for many reasons. I never thought I would be canceled for being a brown Republican voter.”

She then teased her song “Illegal,” saying, “Can’t do ‘Illegal’ ’cause some of you could be in the audience.”

When the crowd began booing, M.I.A. added, “All right, I’m illegal. Half of my team are not here because they didn’t get the visa, OK? I want you to know that. All right? So don’t listen to what the bots say on the internet, OK?”

Two days later, on Monday, Kid Cudi announced on Instagram that M.I.A. was off the tour.

In his statement to his 3.3 million followers, Cudi wrote:

TOUR UPDATE

M.I.A. is no longer on this tour. I told my management to send a notice to her team before we started tour that I didn’t want anything offensive at my shows, cuz I already knew what time it was, and I was assured things were understood. After the last couple shows, I’ve been flooded with messages from fans that were upset by her rants. This, to me, is very disappointing and I wont have someone on my tour making offensive remarks that upset my fanbase. Thank you for understanding.”

M.I.A. has long been known for her outspoken political views, including fierce defenses of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.

Obama: Netanyahu presented to me same arguments for war with Iran that he made to Trump

Former U.S. President Barack Obama said in an interview with The New Yorker published Monday that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had presented him with the same arguments he later presented to current President Donald Trump to persuade him to launch a war with Iran.

“I think my prognosis was accurate,” he said. It may be that Netanyahu has “gotten what he wanted. Whether that’s what is ultimately best for the Israeli people, I would question that. Whether I think it’s what is good for the United States and America, I would question that. I think there’s an ample record of my differences with Mr. Netanyahu.

Netanyahu opposed the nuclear deal Obama signed with Iran in 2015, an agreement that Trump ultimately canceled in 2018 during his first term in the White House. Since then, Trump has not succeeded in bringing Iran to a new nuclear deal, and no such agreement was signed during Joe Biden’s presidency either.

Since the agreement was canceled in 2018, Iran has raced toward a nuclear bomb, and its progress eventually led to two wars — the 12-day Operation Rising Lion in June 2025 and Operation Roaring Lion, which began in late February 2026.

In the interview, Obama was asked about threats Trump has made toward Iran in recent months, including that “a whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again.”

Obama replied: “believe American leadership, as represented by the American President, has to reflect a basic regard for human dignity and decency, not just within our own borders but beyond. That’s part of the responsibility of leadership. If we are not giving voice to those core values—that there are innocent people in countries with terrible governments and we have to care about those people, that we can make mistakes if we are not guarding against hubris and pure self-interest . . . If we don’t have those things, the world can break in very bad ways.”

Madeleine McCann suspect Christian Brueckner should face trial in Britain ‘for her abduction and murder’, Met Police say

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police are reportedly pushing for Christian Brueckner to stand trial in Britain for the abduction and murder of Madeleine McCann

Brueckner, 48, was named as the prime suspect in the toddler’s disappearance by German police while serving a sentence for the rape of a pensioner.

However charges were never brought – and he was released last year.

Now, one of Scotland Yard’s most senior officers is leading a push to charge Brueckner by the end of the year.

The Met wants to see him stand trial at the Old Bailey and is confident it can present a strong enough case to see the Crown Prosecution Service bring charges.

But the German constitution does not allow the extradition of its citizens to countries not in the European Union – meaning the suspect’s transfer to the United Kingdom could cause a diplomatic row.

Brueckner was living just a mile away from the Praia da Luz hotel where Madeleine had been staying with her family at the time of her disappearance in 2007.

If Berlin rejects any extradition request, British officers are understood to be committed to ensuring that he faces charges in either Germany or Portugal.

Kamala Harris Endorses Disastrous Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass for Reelection – Claims She Stamped Out Crime and Homelessness

Failed Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris has endorsed Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass for reelection, claiming that she stamped out crime and homelessness, a downright lie.

In addition to not stamping out either of those serious issues, Bass oversaw the disastrous response to the 2024 wildfires in southern California, which have left thousands of homes still sitting in piles of rubble, unable to rebuild almost a year and a half later.

If ever there was a city in desperate need of new leadership, Los Angeles is it.

The New York Post reports:

Kamala Harris endorses Karen Bass for LA mayor, claiming she’s stamped out crime and homelessness

Kamala Harris has weighed in on the LA mayor’s race and issued endorsements in several other contests — but refused to back a gubernatorial candidate.

The former VP, who now lives in Malibu, endorsed incumbent Karen Bass for mayor of the second-largest city in the US.

“She has my full support for re-election,” the Democrat said.

The two have known each other for more than two decades and were once rumored rivals for the vice presidency when Joe Biden pledged to select a woman as his running mate in 2020.

Bass, who is serving her first term, was sworn in as mayor while Harris was still serving as vice president…

“Mayor Karen Bass is the leader Los Angeles needs right now. She has done what so many said couldn’t be done — the first-ever two-year decline in homelessness, reducing crime to levels this city hasn’t seen since the 1960s, and refusing to back down when the federal government came after our neighbors,” Harris said in a statement.
