Need Another Reason to Loathe Michelle Obama?

I’m sure you don’t, but I’ll give you one anyway.

Michelle Obama has spent years selling herself as America’s warm, approachable former first lady. Remember the whole “when they go low, we go high” thing? We knew then it was just an empty slogan, because whenever she had a chance to prove she’s the bigger person, she just proved the opposite.

According to a Daily Mail report, Barack Obama’s wife personally torpedoed Cheryl Hines’ return to the small screen when Larry David’s new HBO series, Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness: An Almost History of America, began casting. The show premiered last week. Higher Ground, the production company the Obamas own, produces it.

Hines, 60, spent all 12 seasons of Curb Your Enthusiasm playing Larry David’s wife, and having her return for the new show made sense.

But apparently, Obama couldn’t handle the fact that Hines is married to Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Trump’s Secretary of Health and Human Services. According to unnamed sources cited by the Daily Mail, that was disqualifying.

One insider claims that Obama wanted Kennedy’s wife banned from the cast outright because she is “all-MAGA, all-the-time.” Another source says Obama reacted sharply when production staffers who knew Hines from Curb floated the idea of bringing her back.

According to one insider, Obama’s message was simple. “She’s not one of us,” she reportedly said.

Funny thing is, Hines is most definitely a leftist herself. She spent decades as a reliable Hollywood liberal long before she ever said “I do” to Kennedy. None of that bought her a pass. In Obama’s world, being married to someone in the Trump administration gets you blacklisted.

Study: Glyphosate Disrupts Gut Microbiome, May Have Generational Effects

Glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup, is the most widely used herbicide globally, according to regulatory and industry data.

Beyond Pesticides, a nonprofit watchdog organization, estimates that 300 million pounds of glyphosate are applied annually to U.S. crops, according to NaturalNews.com [2]. Roughly 90% of soy, corn, beets and canola grown in the United States are farmed using glyphosate-resistant crops, meaning the herbicide is sprayed directly on fields where food is grown, according to a recent analysis.

A growing body of research indicates that glyphosate can act as an antimicrobial, disrupting beneficial bacteria in the human gut microbiome. The chemical is designed to block a biochemical pathway in plants, but that same pathway is also present in many gut bacteria, researchers said. “Glyphosate, an antimicrobial chemical used in agriculture, also destroys soil and plant microbes before affecting animals and humans directly or through food consumption,” according to a report from Mercola.com evaluating the microbiome’s role in immune health [3].

Mechanism and Antimicrobial Patent

Glyphosate kills weeds by blocking the shikimate pathway, a biochemical process plants use to synthesize certain essential amino acids. According to Stephanie Seneff’s book “Toxic Legacy,” glyphosate’s mechanism targets the enzyme EPSPS, which is also found in many species of gut bacteria [5]. This blind spot means that while human cells do not use the shikimate pathway, a wide range of beneficial microbes do, including species critical for digestion and immune regulation.

In 2010, Monsanto (now owned by Bayer) was granted a patent for glyphosate as an antimicrobial agent, according to NaturalNews.com [1]. The patent submission, first filed in 2003, describes the compound as a “parasitic control-type antimicrobial agent.” This official classification as an antibiotic means that, like other antimicrobials, glyphosate does not discriminate between harmful microorganisms and the beneficial bacteria the human body depends on, according to the report.

Animal Studies and Systematic Review

Multiple animal studies have demonstrated glyphosate’s ability to alter gut microbiota composition. A mouse study exposed to low doses of glyphosate over 90 days found significant shifts in gut bacteria, with beneficial populations such as Bifidobacterium and butyrate-producing species reduced and bacteria linked to gut dysbiosis and inflammation increased, according to a report on BrightVideos.com [10]. The same report states that glyphosate “disrupts the gut microbiome by killing beneficial bacteria, leading to leaky gut syndrome,” and notes that this disruption increases the risk of autoimmune disorders and endocrine disruption at low doses [10].

A systematic review in the journal Food & Function, analyzing research across multiple animal models, concluded that glyphosate can increase gut permeability (commonly called “leaky gut”), damage the intestinal wall, and disrupt the mucus layer that protects the gut lining, according to researchers cited in the literature. Seneff’s book “Toxic Legacy” also documents extensive evidence linking glyphosate exposure to intestinal inflammation and impairment of the gut barrier in animal models, referencing studies on both rodents and livestock [5].

Prenatal Exposure and Generational Effects

Research on prenatal glyphosate exposure in mice has found disruptions in metabolic, immune, and behavioral markers that persist into the second generation of offspring, according to findings described in the book “The Glyphosate Deception” [8]. The study, published via ScienceDirect, examined doses as low as 0.01 mg/kg/day—more than 100 times below the EPA’s acceptable daily intake. It reported goblet cell depletion, reduced mucin-2 expression (a key component of the gut’s protective mucus layer), and decreased levels of Akkermansia muciniphila, a bacterium closely linked to gut barrier integrity, according to the research.

Additional mouse model research discussed in literature from GreenMedInfo.com found that offspring of exposed mouse dams displayed a striking 45-fold increase in serum levels of 4-ethylphenyl sulfate (4EPS), a metabolite linked to autistic-like behaviors [4]. Probiotic treatment with the species Bacteroides fragilis was shown to ameliorate some of these symptoms, suggesting the gut microbiome plays a central role in mediating the neurological effects of early-life glyphosate exposure, according to the report.

Mamdani Gives 250th Anniversary Speech, and Boy, Does This Guy Hate America

New York City’s Communist Twelver Shi’ite Mayor Zohran Mamdani has bestowed upon a waiting world his speech commemorating America’s 250th anniversary, and it is just as small, petty, grievance-laden, fantasy-based, and angry as you’d expect a speech from a man who hates America to be.

The visual effect was even worse, as Mamdani delivered the speech while seated at a desk that seemed to be turned the wrong way around, while surrounded by a social studies-book array of glum-looking, unsmiling, unhappy people, all black and brown and hijabed and whatnot and all forlornly holding small flags of the country their mayor despises, with a single grim-faced white guy standing in the back (as is his place). But even if one didn’t avail oneself of the joys of watching Mamdani, who was just as grim as his prop companions, what the young Commie mayor said was bad enough.

America, in Mamdani’s view, is a sad place where heartless, racist, xenophobic plutocrats rule the roost and oppress the rest of us to the degree that you wonder why anyone from elsewhere would want to immigrate in the first place. Mamdani does hold out some hope in the end, saying that the foes of these cruel tyrants can throw off their yoke and remake this unhappy land in their own image. And that, of course, is just what Mamdani has set out to do.

Mamdani began by painting a verbal picture of the “land, lush and teeming with life” to which newcomers arrived, only to encounter “men waiting at the docks to take them into bondage” and “tenements rife with squalor.” As you’d expect, he claimed that the Declaration of Independence established “the ideals our nation still strives to fulfill,” with no indication of how marvelously it has fulfilled them already, or how it has inspired the world in doing so.

The mayor goes on to fill in all the expected blanks, telling the story of how a freed slave made a new life for himself, thereby showing America to be “a place each of us has the power to make.” Immigrants poured into America, not yet seeing “the nativism they would face — the jobs they would be refused, the landlords who would not rent to them, and the abject labor and living conditions they would withstand.” Still, they kept coming.

Mamdani goes on to mock and misrepresent the idea of American exceptionalism, and here he begins to claim that “we are told” a series of things that few people, if any, have ever been told. “We are told that America is exceptional because we are richer, stronger, more powerful than everyone else.” On the contrary, in less fractious days, we were told that we were “richer, stronger, more powerful than everyone else,” because we were a uniquely just society in which anyone could make something of himself.

Mamdani, however, couldn’t possibly admit that without betraying his Marxist ideas, which tell him that America is inherently oppressive, and his Islamic beliefs, which tell him that only a Sharia society is truly just.

Hillary Clinton Tells Deep State Officials to Refuse to Share Information with Acting DNI Bill Pulte

Twice-failed presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton urged Deep State officials to refuse to share information with Acting DNI Bill Pulte.

Clinton made the comments during an appearance on the “Democracy Docket” podcast with host (and gutter DC lawyer) Marc Elias.

Marc Elias asked Hillary Clinton what she thought of President Trump’s decision to make federal housing regulator Bill Pulte the Acting DNI after Tulsi Gabbard resigned.

Clinton said Pulte is “dangerous” called him a “loose cannon” because he has no experience in the intel community.

“The DNI has access to everything, everything that they want to see,” Hillary Clinton, according to Just The News. “I mean, I hope there are career and even political appointees in various of the agencies that are slow-walking or refusing to share information with Pulte.”

Last week Bill Pulte fired over 50 career Deep State intel officials so far.

“The Deep State firings have begun,” a source told CNN last Monday.

Last Tuesday, CBS News reported that Pulte fired six political intelligence staffers and sent 45 others to their home agencies.

CNN reported that Pulte fired six political appointees chosen by Tulsi Gabbard.

“Today, I spent time with the National Counterterrorism Center team, who is doing an incredible job protecting our Country under President Trump’s leadership. The room was filled with true professionals and American patriots. It is a privilege to work beside them,” Pulte said last Tuesday evening.

One-Third Of Americans Can Barely Read, But They Can Still Vote

As Americans gear up for our country’s 250th Independence Day, a shamefully small percentage of the rising generation truly understands what we’re celebrating. On the latest Nation’s Report Card, only 22 percent of eighth graders had a proficient understanding of civics. A measly 14 percent were proficient in U.S. history.

This cohort, which was tested as eighth graders in 2022, graduated from high school this year. In practice, this means that emerging adults are woefully unprepared to take on the responsibilities of citizenship.

Most of this cohort is now eligible to serve on juries; less than half knew that the Bill of Rights guarantees citizens the right to a jury trial. Almost all of them will be eligible to vote in this year’s midterm elections, yet only 34 percent knew the functions of the three branches of government. All of them will participate in civic life, whether as neighbors, citizens, taxpayers, parents, or perhaps all of those things. This makes it all the more concerning that 31 percent could not identify why freedom of expression is important for a healthy society.

Ten generations ago, a group of patriots – most of whom were young adults – laid the groundwork for the greatest country the world has ever known. They did a lot of writing, winning the war for public opinion through Common Sense and The Federalist Papers. There was no public school system at the time, but there was a public that was willing and eager to read these texts, which most young people cannot understand today.

Now, not only are the public schools failing to deliver a history and civics education, they are also failing to teach the reading skills students would need to educate themselves on these topics.

Thanks to decades of under-education, 28 percent of American adults rated at or below the lowest level of literacy on an international assessment. That number is likely to worsen over time. Long-term trend results released by the National Assessments Governing Board last month show that 42 percent of 13-year-olds cannot summarize main ideas of long passages, identify paraphrases of what they’ve read, or connect related ideas in longer texts.

Without these skills, they stand little chance of being able to understand or appreciate the genius of the founders in their own words. It is sad yet unsurprising that American pride has declined along with the quality of our education system. According to a recent survey by the Public Religion Research Institute, only 34 percent of young adults say they are proud to be an American. American pride increases by age group, topping out at 66 percent among Americans 65 and older.

A resurgence of patriotism will require the rising generation, and every generation after it, to read and understand our founding documents and their philosophical underpinnings that have propelled this country through a quarter millennium of innovation. This cannot happen without radical honesty about the dismal state of American education.

Right now, there is a culture of silence around the true status of our schools. According to Gallup, “nine in 10 parents believe their child is at or above grade level in reading and math.” It’s hard to blame them for this erroneous belief, given that “roughly eight in 10 students in the U.S. receive mostly B’s or better.”

America’s public schools are sites of educational malpractice, covered up by educational fraud. No one in the public school ecosystem has the incentive to be honest about what a student can and cannot do.

Governors don’t want to preside over falling graduation rates, which would naturally result from raising the standards needed to earn a diploma. Teachers don’t want to deal with parents angry that their kids are bringing home bad grades. Administrators don’t want to deal with teachers frustrated by angry students and parents. As a result, schools cover their own poor performance with good grades, which ultimately lead to diplomas that no longer signify readiness for the rights and responsibilities of citizenship.

The only adults in this equation with an incentive to ensure the children are educated are their parents – the same parents who are being lied to, en masse, by public school employees for their own convenience.

Rubio Revokes Legal Status of Alleged Cuban Communist Influence Operative as Feds Take Him and Family Into Custody

Secretary of State Marco Rubio has revoked the legal status of an alleged Cuban Communist influence operative, resulting in federal agents taking the man, his wife, and their son into custody pending removal from the United States in yet another major national security action by the Trump administration.

According to the State Department, Carlos Antonio Lloga Dominguez, a Cuban national who spent more than a decade working as a “foreign subversive” for the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the People (ICAP), the regime’s premier influence and intelligence front group operating on American soil, has been taken into federal custody along with his wife and son. All three are now in federal immigration custody pending removal from the United States.

The State Department announced the action on Wednesday after Rubio terminated their legal status. This is America First leadership in action.

Official Statement from the U.S. State Department:

“This week, three Cuban nationals were apprehended by federal agents following Secretary Rubio’s termination of their legal status. Carlos Antonio Lloga Dominguez – who spent more than a decade working as a foreign subversive for the Communist Cuban regime’s premier influence and intelligence front group in the United States – and his wife and son are now in federal custody pending removal from our country.

Lloga Dominguez spent more than a decade employed by the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the People (ICAP). He has continued to maintain ties to the transnational communist subversion network throughout his time residing in our nation.

ICAP, which Secretary Rubio designated for sanctions under Executive Order 14404 earlier this month, is the central node in a sprawling Cuban intelligence and influence operation, claiming to span more than 2,000 organizations across more than 150 countries.

The organization has a long and intimate relationship with Cuban intelligence agents; in fact, ICAP’s current president, Fernando González Llort, is a convicted Cuban spy who served 15 years in U.S. prison for his role in the infamous Wasp Network — a massive illegal Cuban spy ring uncovered in Florida in the late 1990s.

Working in close coordination with the Cuban communist regime, ICAP maintains an outsized footprint across the United States, trafficking in vile anti-American propaganda, cultivating pro-Havana regime activists and politicians, and lobbying federal, state and local politicians on behalf of the Cuban dictatorship.

The organization facilitates close working relationships between Havana and radical U.S. groups, using America’s far left milieu as a vehicle to export Cuba’s Communist revolution to the United States.

Under the Trump Administration, America will never become home for Cuban Communist regime thugs who peddle propaganda, run foreign influence operations, or seek to wage revolution against American civilization.

90,000 Haitians live in Massachusetts and only 10,000 are working…

Even though the Supreme Court has put out some disastrous duds, they’ve also handed President Trump major victories as well. They cleared the way for his team to end Temporary Protected Status for tens of thousands of Haitian migrants. What does TPS mean, exactly? Well, in short, when a foreigner is on TPS, they don’t have to work, and there’s no risk of being deported.

Temporary Protected Status (TPS) does not require you to work. Instead, it gives eligible individuals the legal permission to work in the U.S. and protects them from deportation. TPS does not require you to hold a job; it simply provides the legal right to work if you choose to.

So, if they’re not holding down a job, they’re collecting welfare and mooching off the American taxpayer.

The good news is that President Trump can now begin deporting them.

Of course, the reaction from the left came in fast and furious style. The same crowd that exploded with outrage when President Trump called Haiti a “shithole” country years ago, flooding social media with beautiful beach photos and travel brochures, is now arguing that sending migrants back would be a death sentence because Haiti is simply too dangerous.

Western Lensmen:

Jan 2018. Democrats and the media were apoplectic over Trump’s “shithole” comments, and were engaged in a campaign to defend Haiti.

Here, Anderson Cooper explains to Conan what an “amazing,” “incredible” and “culturally rich” place it is, and how he loves to spend his weekends and vacation time there.

Conan then went to Haiti and posed for the infamous “beautiful country” photo while sipping a drink out of a coconut.

Now, Dems and the media are telling you it would mean suffering or death for anyone to be sent back there.

Their narrative is wholly dependent on what is deemed to be politically useful at any given time.

Vatican Excommunicates Members of Conservative Church Group Society of St. Pius X for Ordaining Bishops Without Pope Leo’s Approval

A 21st-century schism?

The highly controversial Cardinal Víctor Manuel Fernández, head of the Holy Office and a Pope Francis holdover, has issued a decree on behalf of leftist Pope Leo XIV saying that priests and lay Catholics from a traditionalist Catholic group that the bishops ordained with Leo’s approval are in a schism ‌with the wider Church, and are now excommunicated.

Reuters reported:

“In a strong decree, the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, the top watchdog authority for the 1.4-billion-member Church, also warned Catholics globally that the Swiss-based Society of St. Pius X now celebrated the sacraments illicitly.”

The group cannot officially officiate marriages or hear confessions validly, the decree says.

“It is a strict teaching of the Church that only the pope can authorize the consecration of new bishops, in order to maintain the Church’s ties to Jesus’ 12 apostles, who are considered the first priests and bishops.

Appeals Court Blocks Trump Administration from Firing 19 Intelligence Officials Assigned to DEI Jobs

A federal appeals court on Thursday blocked the Trump Administration from firing 19 intelligence officers assigned to DEI jobs.

The Virginia-based Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a district court judge’s injunction requiring the intelligence agencies to provide the officials with an opportunity to be reassigned.

A group of anonymous intelligence officers, who had been temporarily reassigned to roles implementing controversial Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) programs, previously filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and the CIA.

The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, names ODNI, the CIA, and leadership — Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and CIA Director John Ratcliffe—as defendants.

The plaintiffs, identified as “John Does 1-6” and “Jane Does 1-5,” claim they were unfairly targeted simply for their prior assignments to DEIA programs.

US Circuit Judge Nicole Berner, a Biden appointee, wrote the majority opinion.

Judge Berner said the CIA officials who were fired were deprived of due process.

Air Conditioning Bans Are Latest Example Of Climate Alarmism Damaging Lives

Germany’s public broadcaster ARD has recently rolled out an “anti-AC campaign,” alarming citizens about the supposed “dangers” of air conditioning. This initiative seems particularly misguided as Europe grapples with a severe heat wave that has compelled governments to close schools, shut down iconic tourist sites, reduce business hours, and, most tragically, led to dozens of fatalities.

What’s happening in Europe is the grim outcome of two decades steeped in climate dogma: minor inconveniences have transformed into rigid policies and cultural norms that prioritize emission reductions over human survival.

For the past 20 years, we have been told that climate change poses the greatest existential threat to humanity. We have been urged to take immediate action, even if it means sacrificing comfort and convenience, to avert catastrophe. The initial proposed solutions included silly but manageable changes, such as banning plastic grocery bags and paper straws. However, the demands have escalated to campaigns  aimed at drastically reducing meat consumption, increasing calls to restrict gas stoves, and government mandates encouraging drivers to switch from gas-powered cars to electric vehicles.

Many of these measures have caused daily inconveniences. We’ve learned to sip drinks quickly before paper straws dissolve. Others have raised the cost of living: electric stoves are typically more expensive than gas ones, and EVs can lose significant range in extreme heat or cold — as seen in viral videos of “dead” vehicles stranded at Chicago charging stations during subzero winters. We also face higher electricity bills and rolling blackouts as utilities shutter coal and gas plants in favor of intermittent solar and wind. In one case, a utility company even remotely took control of smart thermostats for thousands of Colorado households during peak summer heat, leaving homeowners powerless to intervene.
