Pope Leo Calls for AI Weapons to Be “Disarmed,” Warns of Threat to Humanity

In a sweeping address, Pope Leo XIV has issued a stark warning about artificial intelligence, cautioning that the technology risks eroding human dignity, accelerating global conflict, and placing life-and-death decisions in the hands of unaccountable systems.

The warning came in his first major encyclical, Magnifica Humanitas (“Magnificent Humanity”), a wide-ranging document that places AI at the center of a broader moral and civilizational crisis.

At more than 40,000 words, the document represents one of the most comprehensive statements yet from the Catholic Church on the role of technology in modern life. It also signals a growing concern that rapid innovation is outpacing ethical reflection.

The Pope’s central argument is this: technology, he insists, must remain subordinate to the human person—not the other way around.

“Technology is never neutral,” Leo wrote, emphasizing that it reflects the values of those who design and deploy it. That insight forms the foundation of the document’s broader critique.

While acknowledging the benefits of technological progress, the pontiff warned that AI is increasingly being shaped by forces disconnected from moral accountability. Chief among these are large corporations and geopolitical actors.

The encyclical highlights what Leo calls a dangerous shift. Power, he argues, is moving away from democratic institutions and into the hands of “major economic and technological actors.”

Woke Pope Leo Apologizes for Slavery, Claims Church Played Role in Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade

The Vatican is now apologizing for events that occurred centuries before anyone alive today was born.

Pope Leo XIV formally apologized on Monday for the Catholic Church’s role in “legitimizing” slavery, according to the Associated Press.

The apology reportedly appeared in Leo’s first encyclical, “Magnifica Humanitas,” which mostly focused on artificial intelligence.

“It is impossible not to feel deep sorrow when contemplating the immense suffering and humiliation endured by so many,” Leo wrote.

It was the first-ever official papal apology, and it assigned blame to the Vatican for the slave trade.

“For this, in the name of the Church, I sincerely ask for pardon,” the holy father added.

He called the church’s record on slavery “a wound in Christian memory.”

“The pope said that the church has long affirmed the dignity of every human being as the basis of its doctrine, ‘even if it took eighteen centuries for its full incompatibility with slavery to be explicitly recognized,’” the Associated Press article read.

“This constitutes a wound in Christian memory, one from which we cannot consider ourselves detached.”

His encyclical also mentioned that the Holy See had “intervened several times in order to regulate and legitimize forms of subjugation.”

“Yet neither can we deny or diminish the delay with which both society and the church came to denounce the scourge of slavery,” he wrote.

Since the beginning of his papacy last year, Leo, a Chicago native, has repeatedly embraced liberal policies and climate change narratives.

The Pope Is Right – The US-Israeli War With Iran Violates Just-War Theory

On April 10thPope Leo XIV posted on Twitter/X, “God does not bless any conflict. Anyone who is a disciple of Christ, the Prince of Peace, is never on the side of those who once wielded the sword and today drop bombs. Military action will not create space for freedom or times of #Peace, which comes only from the patient promotion of coexistence and dialogue among peoples.”

The Pope’s condemnation of war drew the ire of the self-proclaimed “Peace President” and his allies. On TruthSocial, President Trump described the Pope as “Weak on Crime, Weak on Nuclear Weapons” and “terrible for Foreign Policy.” At a Turning Point USA event, Vice President J.D. Vance remarked, “When the pope says that God is never on the side of people who wield the sword, there is more than a 1,000-year tradition of just war theory.” Speaker of the House Mike Johnson was likewise “taken a little bit aback.” He told reporters, “It’s a very well-settled matter of Christian theology. There’s something called the just war doctrine.”

Yet just war is precisely the Pope’s point. As Bishop James Massa, the chairman of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Committee on Doctrine, said in a statement:

“For over a thousand years, the Catholic Church has taught just war theory and it is that long tradition the Holy Father carefully references in his comments on war. A constant tenet of that thousand-year tradition is a nation can only legitimately take up the sword ‘in self-defense, once all peace efforts have failed’ (Catechism of the Catholic Church, no. 2308). That is, to be a just war it must be a defense against another who actively wages war, which is what the Holy Father actually said: ‘He does not listen to the prayers of those who wage war.’

Ultimately, this appeal to Just War Theory by Vance and Johnson is a desperate retort from a historically sinful administration. To date, Trump has authorized military strikes in 10 countries: Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, Pakistan, Somalia, Libya, Syria, Venezuela, Nigeria, and Iran. Currently, the Pentagon is reportedly preparing for military action against Cuba – a nation that Trump has repeatedly threatened to “take.” This invasion would come months after the Trump administration imposed a total oil blockade that is causing widespread suffering and starvation there. No interpretation of Just War Theory would ever justify such rampant and senseless violence.

Pope Leo XIV Picks a Top Rothschild Executive To Head the Vatican Bank, Sending the Conspiracy Theories Into Overdrive

Rothschilds were raided by French Police in Epstein probe; but, today, a former executive controls Vatican Finances.

Just a few days ago, the top exorcists in the Catholic Church met with Pope Leo XIV to ask of him to reinforce the ranks of priests and bishops trained to deal with the surge in occult and satanic practices.

This is fact, not a rumor or unverified report (check at the bottom of the post).

But today, Leo appointed François Pauly as next president of the Vatican Bank.

Before we can even evaluate whether this is a good choice or not, a thick fog has risen with wild conspiracy claims that an ancient secret society is taking direct control of the Catholic Church’s finances.

Pauly is the new president of the supervisory board for the ‘Institute for the Works of Religion’, managing the church’s money, properties and charitable works.

The problem is where he comes from.

Daily Mail reported:

“Conspiracy theorists immediately seized on Pauly’s ties to the powerful Rothschild group – one of the most famous international banking families in history that has been alleged to be part of the secret society known as the Illuminati.”

While no one needs to believe in the Illuminati, the notion that elite bankers, politicians, Freemasons and powerful families worldwide act to manipulate governments and world events is hardly controversial anymore.

Cardinal found with phone during secret conclave to elect Pope Leo, book says

The secret conclave that elected Pope Leo head of the Catholic Church in May 2025 was interrupted when one of the 133 cardinals involved was found carrying a cellphone, a massive security breach, a book released on March 1 revealed.

As the clerics were preparing to take their first vote inside the Vatican’s Sistine Chapel, which was fitted with jamming equipment to prevent outside communications, security officials picked up the signal of an active mobile connection.

The cardinals stared at each other incredulously, then one of the older clerics discovered he had a phone in his pocket and handed it over, according to The Election of Pope Leo XIV, a new book by two long-time Vatican correspondents.

The book does not name the cardinal or suggest he had any motive for keeping his phone, saying the moment left him “disoriented and distressed”.

Security breach was ‘better than fiction’

The scene was “unimaginable even for a film and never before seen in the history of modern conclaves”, wrote authors Gerard O’Connell and Elisabetta Pique.

One such film, the 2024 hit Conclave, imagined a tangled web of intrigues during the fictional selection of a pontiff. The unprecedented discovery of a phone in 2025 was in its own way more startling than anything portrayed in that movie, O’Connell told Reuters. “Reality (was) better than fiction,” he said.

Clerics taking part in a conclave take a vow not to communicate with the outside world and surrender their phones and all other communication devices for the duration of the proceedings, which can last for days.

HEAVENLY SPIES? Pope Leo XIV Urges Italian Secret Agents To Work Ethically, Not to Blackmail Politicians, Journalists or the Church

The Italian 007’s got a Papal warning.

Whether or not you agree with Pope Leo XIV in the multiple statements he has issued lately, one thing seems certain: he deals more and more in issues outside the scope of his mission as Pontifex.

Leo meddles in US immigration policies – with the usual leftist slant; he urges Donald J. Trump not to depose Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro by force – but only smother him with economic sanctions; and now he chastises the Italian secret service agents.

Yes, you read it right.

Maybe, like me, you wonder why Leo doesn’t take care of spiritual welfare of the Christendom, instead of going around ‘blessing the ice’ for Global Warming Cultists, and ‘thrashing ICE’ with the demented pro-immigration mob.

Leo met Friday (12) with officers from Italian intelligence services – and ‘warned them not to use confidential information for blackmailing or other nefarious purposes’.

World’s Poor in for Hard Time as Pope Leo Backs Green Agenda and Net Zero

On matters of Catholic dogma, the Popes claim to be infallible. But on the science around climate change and the political Net Zero lunacy they frequently talk out of their pontifical posteriors. Who can forget the late Pope Francis’s claim that humans are causing earthquakes, a suggestion that only the whackiest of climate alarmists can utter. Alas, the new Bishop of Rome is also capable of ruminating out of his rear end with Pope Leo XIV recently giving us his ‘world is burning’ sermon. At a recent ‘green’ mass at his summer estate in Castel Gandolfo, he added: “We must pray for the conversion of so many people inside and outside of the church, who still don’t recognise the urgency of caring for our common home.”

As a ‘lapsed’ Catholic, your correspondent has been the beneficiary of many such ‘conversion’ prayers. Fear works well if you are a schoolboy sitting at the feet of Sister Agnes, headmistress of St Anselm’s primary school in Dartford, with the fires of hell promised for missing mass on Sunday and the numerous Holy Days of Obligation. Papal fears of a world burning due to excessive holidays in Benidorm are a bit tame. After all, it has been done to the far limits of stupidity by the UN activist-in-chief Antonio Guterres. Come on Leo, I can’t help thinking, you can do better than that.

Needless to say the new Green Pope is all-in on the fake science of weather attribution. “We see so many natural disasters in the world, nearly every day and in so many countries, that are in part caused by the excesses of being human, with our lifestyle.” One can only pray that the new Pontiff gets around to reading the latest scientific assessment of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, where little or no human involvement is observed in almost all natural weather events, now and forward to 2100. He might care to consider that deaths from natural disasters have plunged by 95% over the last 100 years, while the extra carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has led to a remarkable 15-20% ‘greening’ of the planet.

Wearing green vestments for his special mass in the new ecological education centre at the summer residence, Pope Leo urged the world to recognise what he called the urgency of the climate crisis, and “hear the cry of the  poor”. But the poor are not crying, at least not for the rich Western elite fantasy of Net Zero. Many in the developing world see hydrocarbon use as the key to lifting them out of grinding poverty. They are aware of the enormous increase in staple crops that has occurred over the last 60 years due to the use of hydrocarbon-enabled fertilisers. They can feel the extra food in their bellies – to deprive them of the natural stored energy of the Earth at this stage in their development would, in Sister Agnes’s often spoken words, be wicked.

Pope Leo’s Childhood Home Faces Eminent Domain as He Relocates to a More Eminent Domain

“Every man has by nature the right to possess property as his own,” wrote Pope Leo XIII, in his famous 1891 encyclical Rerum Novarum, laying down the basics of Catholic social teaching.

The plans of contemporary socialists to seize private property, Leo XIII denounced as “emphatically unjust, for they would rob the lawful possessor, distort the functions of the State, and create utter confusion in the community.”

The last Pope Leo’s defense of private property adds no small amount of irony to the small Chicago suburb of Dolton, Illinois’ plan to honor the new American-born Pope Leo XIV by seizing his childhood home from its private owners.

Yesterday, Chicago-area media reported that Dolton officials plan to use eminent domain to take the home where Leo XIV, formerly Robert Francis Prevost, was raised from its current private owners to create a publicly accessible historic site.

At present, the owners are auctioning off the small, 1949-built home for a reserve price of $250,000.

In a Tuesday letter to the auction house running the sale, Dolton attorney Burton Odelson cautioned buyers against purchasing the house.

“Please inform any prospective buyers that their ‘purchase’ may only be temporary since the Village intends to begin the eminent domain process very shortly,” reads Odelson’s letter, per NBC Chicago.

Odelson told Chicago’s ABC7 that the village had initially tried to voluntarily purchase the home but had snagged on the sale price.

“We’ve tried to negotiate with the owner. [He] wants too much money, so we will either negotiate with the auction house or, as the letter stated that I sent to the auction house, we will take it through eminent domain, which is our right as a village,” Odelson said.

One wonders how outrageous the owners’ offered sale price was given its current auction price of $250,000.

The fact that the home was once lived in by the current pope surely doesn’t enable the owners to command that much of a sale premium on what is undeniably a quite modest dwelling.

Chicago priest accused of molesting kids makes bombshell claim against Pope Leo

A defrocked priest who was accused of sexually abusing at least 13 children has made a bombshell claim against the new pope.

Robert Prevost, who was named the new head of the Vatican earlier this month, has been accused of turning a blind eye to the Church’s sexual abuse scandal in Chicago when he served as the head of the Midwest Province of the Catholic Church’s Augustinian order.

Now, former priest James M Ray also claims Prevost signed off on his move to a Hyde Park monastery near a Catholic elementary school – despite the fact that Ray had already been accused of molesting children.

‘He’s the one who gave me permission to stay there,’ Ray recently told the Chicago Sun-Times

The priest is included on an Archdiocesan list of accused sexual offenders, which claims he was subject to ‘limited ministry with restrictions’ starting in 1990 following sexual abuse allegations.

Still, he worked for three parishes – and in 2000, the Archdiocese of Chicago stepped in to help him find a place to live where he would not pose a threat to the public.

However, they ultimately let Ray stay for two years at the St. John Stone Friary – which is less than one block from the St. Thomas the Apostle Elementary School and across the ally from a child care center.

The school was never notified that Ray – who has never been convicted of any crime and is not included on any government sex offender registries – was moving into the area, and there is no indication that the child care center was notified either.

Cringe View Host Declares “We Have A Black Pope!”

Sunny Hostin, The View’s race baiting grifter panelist, has discovered the kingdom of Wakanda hidden within the Vatican.

On Friday, she slammed the new Pope Leo XIV as a backward bigot for his stance on social issues like LGBTQ+ rights, declaring “This guy’s stuck in the Dark Ages!”

Fast forward to Monday, and Hostin’s done a 180 so sharp it’d give a NASCAR driver whiplash. She Googled the pope’s 23andMe results and discovered he has Haitian roots and a sprinkle of African ancestry.

“We have a Black pope!” she gushed, proclaiming “it’s like a chef’s kiss for me — both of his maternal grandparents are described as black, Haitian, or mulatto in several census documents.”

“And on their marriage license, the grandfather’s birthplace is listed as Haiti, her birthplace is listed as born in New Orleans. They were identified as people of color, but in 1920, when they migrated to Chicago, the census reflected their race as white,” she added.

Ah, if he’s got some black DNA, his denouncement of homosexuality is forgiven then!
