Top CNN Reporter OUT After Outlet Pays Navy Vet Millions of Dollars in Defamation Settlement

A top CNN reporter announced he is leaving the network after the outlet was forced to pay a Navy vet millions of dollars in a defamation settlement.

“Some personal news: I’m leaving CNN after 8 terrific years. Tough to say goodbye but it’s been an honor to work among the very best in the business. Profound thank you to my comrades on the National Security team & the phenomenal teammates I’ve worked with in the US and abroad,” Alex Marquardt said on Monday.

In January, CNN paid Navy Vet Zachary Young an undisclosed settlement for punitive damages after it was already ordered to pay $5 million in emotional and financial damages.

Zachary Young sued CNN for defamation over a 2021 report on his work helping Afghans during Biden’s botched withdrawal.

The lawsuit against CNN stemmed from their coverage of Biden’s botched Afghanistan withdrawal, which the court previously determined showcased “actual malice, express malice, and a level of conduct outrageous enough” for Plaintiff Zachary Young to seek damages.

Young, who was offering to transport Afghans out of the country to flee the Taliban in 2021, was accused by Tapper and CNN correspondent Alex Marquardt of running a “black market” scheme and exploiting “desperate Afghans” for personal gain while disregarding the dangers and circumstances surrounding the evacuation efforts.

Tapper even maliciously and sarcastically highlighted Young’s use of the word “unfortunately” in a message to the network about the “extremely limited” availability of evacuations and high demand, as if to imply that Young was benefitting from the situation.

Young argued that the network intentionally painted him in a bad light and harmed his security consulting company.

The jury found CNN guilty of defamation earlier this year.

Japanese Scientists Develop Artificial Blood Compatible With All Blood Types

A critical component of healthcare, blood transfusions play a vital role in saving lives around the globe every day. Maintaining an adequate blood supply, though, is no easy task, particularly in low- and middle-income countries (LMIC). The demand for O–negative blood — the universal donor type — often exceeds supply and donations have a limited shelf life. Looking to address the issue are a group of Japanese scientists led by Hiromi Sakai at Nara Medical University. They’ve developed a new type of artificial blood that can be used in patients of any blood type.

The artificial blood is created by extracting hemoglobin — a protein containing iron that facilitates the transportation of oxygen in red blood cells — from expired donor blood. It is then encased in a protective shell to create stable, virus-free artificial red blood cells. As these artificial cells have no blood type, there is no need for compatibility testing. The synthetic blood can reportedly be stored for up to two years at room temperature and five years under refrigeration. That is a significant improvement over donated red blood cells, which can only be stored under refrigeration for a maximum of 42 days.

Who Really Are the Lawless and the Dictatorial?

The left is in its usual sanctimonious but schizophrenic mood.

The media claims daily that the Trump administration has usurped power. It is supposedly destroying democracy. It tramples on the rule of law and thus has created a virtual dictatorship.

Yet at the same time, Democrats high-five the most recent district court judge who has put a stop to the current Trump executive orders—which the Trump administration abides by as it files appeals.

There are two clear conclusions from the flurry of the lower-court liberal justices’ orders: 1) Trump has obeyed their record number of interventions as the appeals go forward; and 2) rarely in the history of the republic has a pool of some 300-400 left-wing district judges exercised such nationwide control over the executive branch and indeed the entire nation.

Yet consider the array of double standards.

Donald Trump is accused of improperly dictating to private elite universities who choose to apply for and receive federal funds. At least, lower court cherry-picked justices predictably rule so.

But please spare us the district courts’ sermons on truth, justice, and the American way, given their lodestar is often ideology, not principled adherence to the law.

After all, Trump is only following the precedents of the Obama administration. With legal impunity, it had threatened fines and worse to public and private universities that did not fully implement Title 9 to Obama’s subjective standards.

Indeed, the Obama Department of Education Office of Civil Rights, in an unconstitutional fashion, habitually threatened colleges and universities (“Dear Colleague…”) with a cutoff of federal funds if they did not comply with its weird version of addressing charges of campus sexual harassment. For the “constitutional lawyer” Obama, gone was the American creed that Americans accused on campus were innocent unless proven guilty “beyond a reasonable doubt.”

FBI and Mueller’s Team Hid Russiagate Documents with Special Coding in FBI Case Management Database

The FBI and Mueller’s team hid Russiagate documents with a special coding in the FBI’s case management database.

Senior DOJ officials reportedly did not know that FBI agents and members of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team used a “Prohibited Access” code to make Russian collusion documents invisible.

This way, Mueller’s dirty Democrat lawyers could hide exculpatory evidence. Recall that General Flynn was forced into a ‘guilty plea’ of one count of false statements after partisan prosecutors tricked him and withheld Brady material.

The Federalist reported:

People familiar with the investigation into the Russia collusion hoax told The Federalist that senior officials did not know the FBI case management database, Sentinel, allowed agents to conceal the existence of evidence. Nor did anyone from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s office mention that documents related to the investigation into the Trump campaign had been rendered invisible by use of the “Prohibited Access” coding in Sentinel — even though they knew the Department of Justice was investigating the origins and handling of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.

On Monday, a former political appointee at the DOJ expressed surprise that no one from Special Counsel Mueller’s team mentioned the “Prohibited Access” functionality of Sentinel to senior officials. This news follows last week’s release by Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, of a recently declassified FBI report that revealed that Special Counsel Mueller’s office used a “Prohibited Access” restriction during the Trump/Russia-collusion investigation.

In 2023, Special Counsel John Durham released his final report concluding the FBI had no verified intel when it opened the Crossfire Hurricane investigation into Trump in 2016.

Vascular and organ damage induced by mRNA vaccines: irrefutable proof of causality

This article summarizes evidence from experimental studies and from autopsies of patients deceased after vaccination. The collective findings demonstrate that

  1. mRNA vaccines don’t stay at the injection site by instead travel throughout the body and accumulate in various organs,
  2. mRNA-based COVID vaccines induce long-lasting expression of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein in many organs,
  3. vaccine-induced expression of the spike protein induces autoimmune-like inflammation,
  4. vaccine-induced inflammation can cause grave organ damage, especially in vessels, sometimes with deadly outcome.

We note that the damage mechanism is which emerges from the autopsy studies is not limited to COVID-19 vaccines only but is completely general—it must be expected to occur similarly with mRNA vaccines against any and all infectious pathogens. This technology has failed and must be abandoned.

While clinical case reports (e.g. [1,2]) and statistical analyses of accumulated adverse event reports (e.g. [3,4]) provide valuable evidence of damage induced by mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccines, it is important to establish a causal relationship in individual cases. Pathology remains the gold standard for proof of disease causation. This short paper will discuss some key findings on autopsy materials from patients who died within days to several months after vaccination. For context, some experimental studies are briefly discussed as well.

2 Charged in ‘Street Terrorism’ Murders Dating Back 20 Years in San Francisco Area

Two men face several murder charges in connection with multiple killings dating back more than 20 years in the San Francisco Bay Area, District Attorney Brooke Jenkins announced May 29.

Sauntek Harris, 44, and Shaun Britton, 48, are scheduled to be arraigned June 6 in San Francisco.

Prosecutors accused Harris and Britton of killing Perry Bradstreet on Jan. 18, 2002. According to the court complaint, Britton allegedly used a 9-millimeter MAC 11 military-style firearm, which is classified as an assault weapon.

Bradstreet was “robbed, carjacked, and fatally shot as he ran away,” said the department’s cold-case report. “His vehicle was set ablaze by the unknown suspect(s) and abandoned in the Oakdale Housing Project … at 0230 hours.”

Britton is also accused of murdering Bradstreet for a criminal gang, and the killing was an act of “street terrorism,” according to the district attorney’s office.

Prosecutors also allege that on Feb. 24, 2002, Harris killed Lorenzo Richards with a 9-millimeter pistol. Richards was shot and killed inside an apartment complex on George Court at 4 a.m., according to his cold-case page.

‘Cowardice’: Male student ‘frequently switches gender throughout day’ to ogle girls in shower despite competing in boys’ sports

The Defense of Freedom Institute (DFI) filed a federal civil rights complaint against the South Colonie Central School District (SCCSD) in New York over a male student who allegedly frequently “switches gender identity throughout the day” to watch girls change in bathrooms and locker rooms.

DFI’s complaint alleges the high school boy competes on the boys’ track and field team and wears the male uniform, but claims a transgender identity during the school day to access the girls’ facilities. Several girls have reported the boy to school officials for “staring at them” while they changed, but the Title IX complaint alleges the school showed “deliberate indifference to that student-on-student harassment.”

The district told the Daily Caller News Foundation it was “unable to comment on individual student matters due to privacy laws” but “can confirm that the district responded to this situation accordingly.” SCCSD also cited several state laws that require schools to accommodate “gender identity.”

The Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) and the Gender Expression Non-Discrimination Act (GENDA), for instance, prevent discrimination based on gender identity. Assembly Bill A5240A also requires all single-occupancy bathrooms to be designated gender neutral in schools and most other public establishments.

“The filing of a complaint or an investigation into a complaint does not change the district’s approach or procedures,” a spokesman for the district added. “All concerns raised were addressed through the proper channels, and students were offered reasonable accommodations as needed.”

“My daughter and her teammates have a right to feel safe in their own locker room,” Kevin Martin, the father of a student at SCCSD, said in a statement to DFI. “South Colonie refused to protect them and told them to accommodate the boy instead. That’s not fairness—it’s cowardice. I never thought I’d have to file a federal complaint just so my daughter could change clothes in a girls’ locker room without being stared at by a male student.”

USAID Paperwork Found in the Vehicle of Biden Illegal Alien Responsible for Boulder Terror Attack

A discovery by law enforcement officials regarding the Islamist terrorist responsible for burning several peaceful Jews alive Sunday in Boulder, Colorado, will certainly invite some interesting questions from Americans.

As Jim Hoft previously reported, a deranged man screaming anti-Jewish epithets attacked Jewish families, including children, in Boulder, Colorado, on Sunday.

The attacker was identified as Mohamad Soliman. Several children were injured in the planned attack.

Soliman came in 2022 during the Biden regime and overstayed his visa and never left.

Now, Fox News has obtained an arrest affidavit which reveals law enforcement officials found paperwork with the words “USAID” inside Soliman’s 2015 silver Toyota Prius.

They also found paperwork with the words “Israel” and “Palestine” inside the terrorist’s vehicle.

It is not clear why an illegal alien from Egypt would have USAID-related paperwork. There is no indication he was ever an employee with the agency, and any other affiliation is unknown.

This disturbing discovery came after Soliman was charged with 16 counts of attempted murder in the first degree and will face the maximum federal sentence, which is life in prison.

Soliman was also found with 14 more Molotov cocktails on his person, along with a makeshift flamethrower. Further reports say that during interviews with police, he said he wanted to “kill all Zionist people,” and “wished they were all dead.”

Additionally, he said that he would “do it again.”

Soliman is currently in jail on a $10 million bond.

General Welfare Clause: The Truth They Never Teach

“It would be ABSURD to say … Congress may do what they please.”

That was James Madison, obliterating the modern lie that the general Welfare Clause is a blank check for almost unlimited power.

But that’s exactly how it’s treated and used today.

The general Welfare clause had a clear, limited meaning when the Constitution was ratified – and both Madison and Jefferson warned exactly what would happen if it got twisted into something more.

Spoiler alert: They weren’t just right. They were prophetic.

WHAT THE CONSTITUTION ACTUALLY SAYS

“The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States.”
-Article I, Section 8, Clause 1

Legal scholar Rob Natelson has explained just how badly this clause has been twisted from its original meaning.

“The General Welfare Clause is one of the two principal constitutional pillars supporting the modern federal welfare state – the other being the Commerce Clause.”

Today, politicians and judges treat this clause as permission to spend money on virtually anything – as long as they claim it’s for the “general welfare.”

But that interpretation is flat-out wrong – and Natelson made that clear.

“The General Welfare Clause is said to include an implied spending power used to justify federal spending programs and the regulatory conditions attached to them.”

In fact, that’s why many now refer to it as something else entirely.

“For that reason, the General Welfare Clause sometimes is called the Spending Clause.”

But the clause wasn’t written to authorize everything – it was written to limit Congress. To block favoritism. To keep spending within constitutional bounds.

“The General Welfare Clause is more than a mere ‘non-grant’ of spending power.”

Then he dropped the hammer.

“It was intended to be a sweeping denial of power – specifically, it was intended to impose on Congress a standard of impartiality borrowed from the law of trusts, thereby limiting the legislature’s capacity to ‘play favorites’ with federal tax money.”

A STRICT RESTRAINT ON POWER

In 1831, James Madison made it clear that the general Welfare clause wasn’t a blank check – it was a limit.

“With respect to the words ‘General welfare’ I have always regarded them as qualified by the detail of powers connected with them.”

In other words, the clause doesn’t authorize taxing for whatever Congress wants – only for purposes tied directly to the enumerated powers.

Madison followed with a direct warning – about what would happen if “general Welfare” were twisted into a broad, open-ended power.

“To take them in a literal and unlimited sense, would be a metamorphosis of the Constitution into a character, which there is a host of proofs was not contemplated by its Creators.”

Thomas Jefferson agreed. The general Welfare clause granted no independent power – it was tied to the powers delegated in the Constitution.

“our tenet ever was … that Congress had not unlimited powers to provide for the general welfare, but were restrained to those specifically enumerated”

Jefferson ripped apart the claim that the clause gave Congress broad power for anything it wanted.

“As it was never meant they should provide for that welfare but by the exercise of the enumerated powers”

That meant no power for anything outside the Constitution’s list.

“so it could not have been meant they should raise money for purposes which the enumeration did not place under their action: consequently that the specification of powers is a limitation of the purposes for which they may raise money”

That was the bottom line: specific powers = specific limits.

Pakistan Uses Geofencing to Track, Disable Digital IDs of Protesters

Pakistani authorities have moved to disable the national ID and passports of individuals linked to the unrest that unfolded on May 9, 2023, turning to geo-fencing technology to track the presence of mobile devices near demonstration sites.

The protesters were protesting the arrest of the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan.

The tactic draws on the country’s highly centralized digital identity infrastructure, which is managed by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).

Following a wave of civil disorder earlier in the year, the state has turned its attention to restricting those it believes were involved, though officials have not released exact figures.

The action adds a new layer to NADRA’s already significant role in overseeing identification and mobility in Pakistan. The agency had previously played a key part in enforcing nationwide SIM registration by linking phone access to verified ID credentials.

The main aspect of the current operation is the use of geofencing, a surveillance method that defines virtual boundaries around locations and tracks which mobile devices enter those areas.

By analyzing mobile network signals, authorities are able to determine who was present near protest hotspots during specific periods and take action accordingly. The approach allows for highly targeted enforcement, based on digital footprints rather than conventional investigative methods.

This use of data to restrict identity documents marks a profound escalation in how digital ID systems are being weaponized.

In Pakistan, ID cards and passports are essential for almost every aspect of life; banking, public services, travel, and even mobile phone use. Withholding these documents amounts to cutting individuals off from full participation in society.
