FIRM Radicals Lead Well-Funded Network Of Anti-ICE Pirates

The Fair Immigration Reform Movement (FIRM) believes it’s unfair to round up criminal illegal immigrants and expel them from the country that they have invaded. FIRM “forcefully condemns” what it is painting as the Trump administration’s “increasingly authoritarian and violent campaign against immigrant communities and the people of the United States.”

I asked the far-left activists if they:

› “Forcefully condemn” the violence against federal law enforcement officials who are doing their jobs enforcing U.S. immigration laws?

› “Forcefully condemn” the criminals identifying as protesters who are smashing up and burning down private and taxpayer-funded property in a wave of lawlessness?

› “Forcefully condemn” violent, illegal aliens roving the streets in search of their next victims?

› “Forcefully condemn” the rule of law that the vast majority of Americans voted for?

FIRM representatives did not respond to my questions. Surprised? They also had nothing to say about where they stand on the actual terrorizing of communities by violent gangs made up of illegal immigrants insanely granted “asylum” by the Biden administration.

Fidel Castro Acolyte Karen Bass Is No Stranger To Orchestrating Organized Chaos

With riots and looting destroying Los Angeles (again), it is important to remember that the city’s mayor, Karen Bass, reportedly led a radical Cuban communist cell that was part of a group responsible for radicalizing youth and organizing chaos.

In the 1970s, when Bass was in her 20s, she led the Southern California cell of Cuban Venceremos Brigade — a Fidel Castro regime-linked organization and alleged terror group started to subvert the United States and proliferate communism. After working as a “brigadista,” Bass climb the ranks to become an “organizer,” visiting Cuba every six months.

The rioting, looting, destruction, firebombing, assaults on federal officers, waving the Mexican flag, burning the American flag, and the like in her city — deemed by Democrats and their friends in the corporate media as “peaceful” — coupled with the failure of state and local law enforcement to protect the the citizens of Los Angeles is far less surprising when put in the context of Bass’s reported violent revolutionary sympathies.

She actually let the cat out of the bag on CNN recently, admitting that Los Angeles has a “rapid response network” of agitators, adding, “if they see ICE, they go out and they protest.”

And that is exactly what happened. But, whether the rioters knew it or not, the instigating factor was not even deportations, as they claim, but rather ICE conducting law enforcement operations against drug traffickers, child abusers, robbers, human traffickers, assaulters, and those with history of domestic violence, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

Even if they were just deportation raids, that would still be a completely legitimate use of federal resources, particularly after, as Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth put it, “21 million illegals have crossed our border under the previous administration.” But Bass’s response to the law enforcement operations seems more intent on running an agitation psy-op than simply wanting millions of illegals to stay in her city.

“I am deeply angered by what has taken place. These tactics sow terror in our communities and disrupt basic principles of safety in our city,” Bass said in a statement. “My Office is in close coordination with immigrant rights community organizations. We will not stand for this.”

DHS blamed Bass and other Democrats’ rhetoric for violence against ICE agents.

Anti-Migrant Riots Erupt in Northern Ireland After “Romanian Teenagers” Charged With Sexual Assault

Anti-migrant riots have erupted in Northern Ireland, leading to 15 police officers being injured and four houses being set alight, after two teenagers, thought to be Romanian, were charged with the sexual assault of a girl. The Telegraph has more.

Two 14- ear-old boys appeared at a local court by videolink on Monday charged with attempted rape. The charges were read to them by a Romanian interpreter.

Violence erupted in Ballymena in County Antrim on Monday night after a peaceful vigil of hundreds of people was held in the town centre.

North Antrim MP Jim Allister said Ballymena had been “overburdened” by “unchecked migration”, which was a source of “past and future tensions”.

The victim’s family condemned the riots, which were reminiscent of the disorder sparked in England and Northern Ireland after the murder of three girls at a dance class in Southport.

Asking that justice be served “in the correct manner”, the family said that they were in “no way involved or condone any trouble that happened” after the peaceful protest.

New York Times’ Hypocritical ‘Tale Of Two Flags’ Coverage Encapsulates Media’s Seething Bias

As riots raged in Los Angeles on Sunday, The New York Times rushed to reassure readers that Mexican flags being waved by protesters were symbols not of insurrection or lawlessness, but of “pride in their heritage.” The Times’ sympathetic view of anti-law-and-order rioters is hardly notable, but comparing its glowing review of the symbolism and meaning of the Mexican flag’s use in the L.A. upheaval to its screeching hysteria over the Alito flags a year ago is a sharp reminder of just how biased the paper is.

Unlike many of the rioters in Los Angeles, Samuel and Martha-Ann Alito didn’t foment social unrest, throw rocks at police cars, hurl incendiaries, burn cars, or generally embroil themselves in more or less serious dust-ups with law enforcement. (Maybe they would have drawn a more favorable review from the Times if they had.) But the Times used Martha-Ann’s flying of an upside-down American flag (an age-old distress signal) in Jan. 2021 and an “Appeal to Heaven” flag (a banner with roots in the Revolutionary War) in mid-2023 as the launching pad for manufactured controversy aimed at destroying Justice Alito’s credibility — and the legitimacy of the Supreme Court.

Why is the New Yorker sucking up to Latin American tyrants?

How does a judge ban one of the world’s biggest social-media platforms, nakedly target political opponents and repress reporting on his involvement in the biggest corruption scandal in his country’s history, and still get to be portrayed as a champion of democracy? Only, it seems, if the journalist is working for the New Yorker.

In April, the leading American magazine hailed Alexandre de Moraes as ‘The Brazilian judge taking on the digital far right’. Moraes, whose most notorious achievements to date include banning X and driving political opponents into exile, was presented as the only thing standing between his country and autocracy. According to journalist John Lee Anderson, Moraes is a ‘pugnacious jurist’ who has repeatedly saved his country from ‘digital militias’. The article even described the judge as ‘conspicuously fit’ and praised his ‘sharp cheekbones’.

It’s a good thing this terrible article was published in America, rather than Brazil, which remains in a well of authoritarianism that Moraes is in no small part responsible for. For many Brazilians, Moraes’s unprecedented assault on free speech is a fresh and depressing memory.

Most Brazilians received their first taste of his authoritarian streak in 2022, the year current president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva defeated Jair Bolsonaro. Many Brazilians took to the streets to protest the result, centering on the capital, Brasilia. While the protests had an uncomfortable whiff of America’s ‘January 6’ riots the previous year, ordinary voters were right to feel a little aggrieved. ‘Lula’ had served just over 18 months of a 12-year prison term after he was convicted of corruption, before his charges were overturned by a Supreme Court that now included Moraes, a longstanding political ally.

The riots that occurred in Brasilia in January 2023 were serious, but hardly the threat to democracy and national security they were made out to be. For example, it occurred on a Sunday, meaning government buildings were largely empty. Critically, Bolsonaro wasn’t even in the country – he was in Florida, where he had been since losing the election.

Censorship in Our Materialist World

My dear friends,

A long time ago but I am still here. Two weeks ago I learned on one and the same day that the LinkedIn account of Jakobien Huysman and the Facebook page of Alain Grootaers (both producers of the corona critical Headwind series) were permanently removed, that Dutch comedian Hans Teeuwen was visited by six policemen for making a satirical movie about a pro-Palestian rally in Amsterdam, that Martin Kulldorff was fired as a Harvard professor for his criticial stance during the corona crisis, and that Belgian right wing politician Dries Van Langenhove got a one-year prison sentence for allowing racist memes to circulate in a WhatsApp group.

What do all these sanctioned acts have in common? They are linguistic acts—acts of speech. When you consider the rise of censorship within its broader cultural context, you notice something remarkable: Society is in the grip of the materialist view on man and the world, which reduces the entire realm of speech and consciousness to a meaningless side product of biochemical processes in our brain.

Man thinks, feels, and speaks, but that doesn’t really matter. He is a heap of flesh and bones and from the biochemical simmering in his braincase some thoughts and feelings emerge—God knows why. And from time to time, the machine rattles and creaks a bit and the mouth of the human being expels some noise. This noise turns out to be evolutionarily useful. It allows the efficient exchange of information and that confers an advantage in the struggle to survive. That’s why the human being has continued to speak.

This is how the materialist worldview explains the field of speech and consciousness, and this is how it degrades the realm of the Mind and the Soul.

Nevertheless, this materialist society, which reduces consciousness and speech to a negligible side effect, is in the first place scared of…speech and consciousness. It tries to control thoughts and feelings through indoctrination and propaganda and with censorship it tries to keep the field of speech in an iron choke hold. This ‘velvet glove totalitarianism’ is very real. Every time we use the internet or social media it steers our mind through state-controlled search engines and AI-generated algorithms; through machine learning each and every dissident narrative is mapped and its most influential representers are identified and inhibited; it recruits tens of thousands of ‘digital first responders’ to ridiculize and criminalize everyone who doesn’t conform to the state ideology, and so on.

‘This is insane:’ Lawmakers grill 23andMe exec on what sale means for genetic data

The bankruptcy sale of the direct-to-consumer genetic testing company 23andMe and its trove of genetic data has raised serious national security concerns among lawmakers on Capitol Hill. They want to know what will be done to make sure the data will stay out of the hands of adversaries like China.

“It’s hard to not sit here and listen to this conversation and not feel like we’re living through a sci-fi movie,” Rep. Melanie Stansbury, D-N.M., said during Tuesday’s House Oversight Committee hearing where 23andMe’s interim CEO Joe Selsavage and founder and former CEO Anne Wojcicki, who is also bidding to buy the company, appeared as witnesses.

“A private company has our data, they experience bankruptcy and now, we have no federal regulatory system to protect that data. And we’re concerned that foreign adversaries might purchase the company and thus, the data. I mean, this is insane. Like this is crazy,” Stansbury said.

Rangers working to ID two campers found dead at Isle Royale National Park

The National Park Service is working to identify two campers who were found dead within Isle Royale National Park early Monday morning.

Responding to multiple reports of bodies found in the park on Sunday afternoon, park rangers hiked more than ten miles throughout the night to a remote location and made the discovery.

An NPS spokesperson said the deceased were found at a backcountry campground within the park. It’s still unclear exactly where the bodies were located and the identities and causes of death of both people are unknown at this point.

As a part of their investigation, officials are using both ground and air resources.

Isle Royale National Park is located within Lake Superior, and is made up of hundreds of different islands, including Isle Royale, which is technically part of Michigan but is closer to Minnesota’s North Shore.

It is known for its rugged terrain and isolated location, popular with adventure-loving hikers and paddlers.

Gender ideology mandate in foster care opposed by religious liberty, gay rights, pro-drag groups

Vermont’s refusal to place foster children in families with religious objections to gender ideology compels parents to parrot the government’s preferred messages, establishes the Green Mountain State’s own religion and treats “comparable secular activity” more favorably, while the judge who upheld the gender-affirming mandate relied on dubious research.

Those are a handful of arguments in friend-of-the-court briefs as the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals evaluates whether Vermont violated the First Amendment by stripping foster-care licenses from Christian couples Brian and Katy Wuoti and Michael and Rebecca Gantt.

Social workers gave the couples glowing reviews, but Vermont deemed them “unqualified” to parent “any child (even a relative) of any age (even an infant) and for any length of time (even a few hours)” due to their religious beliefs, harming children who need “loving homes,” the couples’ lawyers at the Alliance Defending Freedom said.

No federal appeals court has yet determined “whether a state may categorically exclude families from foster care because of their protected speech and religious beliefs,” though the 9th Circuit will “likely” rule on the issue “soon,” ADF’s opening brief says.

The San Francisco-based appeals court heard oral argument nearly a year ago, but has yet to rule, in another ADF case by Oregon widow and mother-of-five Jessica Bates, who is suing the Beaver State to let her adopt foster siblings without requiring her to use their preferred pronouns and even give them “hormone shots” if they desire.

Fake Tears and No Sound: Newsom’s Formal Address to California Amid Los Angeles Riots is a Dumpster Fire

California Governor Gavin Newsom delivered a (prerecorded?) formal address to California on Tuesday evening amid ongoing Los Angeles riots.

A desperate Newsom, who is actually hunkered down in LA right now, texted Fox News host Sean Hannity and begged him to cover his address to California.

However, Newsom’s formal address was off to a bad start because there was no audio.

CBS News noted there was a problem with the audio.

Newsom attacked President Trump and accused him of declaring a war and assaulting the First Amendment.
