School district must face ‘deliberate indifference’ claim by gender-confused girl alleging assault

AVirginia school district that allegedly socially transitioned a “gender-nonconfirming” 14-year-old girl into a boy’s identity, hid it from her legal parents, told her to use the boys’ restroom even after boys started threatening her, and “pressured her to recant” those threat claims, will have to defend itself again in trial court.

A split panel of the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals reinstated the lawsuit by Michele Blair, who with her husband adopted their granddaughter Sage at age 2 from foster care, where she had been placed after her father’s death and mother’s inability to raise her.

But it dismissed all but her Title IX “deliberate indifference” claim against the Appomattox County School Board, Superintendent Annette Bennett and its staff and contract counselors, and a dissent accused the majority of “push[ing] past the boundaries” set by the Supreme Court in student-on-student sexual harassment cases.

While the school board was “not entirely unresponsive” to Sage’s threat claims, giving her access to the nurse’s restroom, that falls short of “reasonably calculated” efforts to end her harassment, simply addressing it “in piecemeal,” wrote President Clinton-nominated Judge Roger Gregory, joined by President Biden nominee Judge DeAndrea Benjamin.

The court record shows “no indication” the board took action against the boys on the bus who allegedly “threatened her with sexual violence,” another group of males who “jacked” Sage against the wall and threatened her with violence, or students who “threatened to shoot” her “and told her they knew where she lived,” the majority says.

“In fact, the direct opposite happened” when school counselor Dena Olsen and deputy sheriff Daniel Gunter allegedly interrogated her and tried to get her to take back her claims that the boys were threatening her, Gregory wrote. Olsen had first told Sage to use the boys’ restroom and to go back when other girls reportedly complained about her in the girls’ restroom.

Even after being told to use the nurse’s restroom, Sage “continued to be so fearful for her and her family’s life that she ‘suffered a psychotic breakdown’ and opted to run away from home to save her family,” the majority said.

DC lawmakers try to reclaim control of MPD, National Guard after Trump invokes Home Rule

D.C. Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton and U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen announced plans to reintroduce legislation granting the District of Columbia full control over its National Guard and Metropolitan Police Department.

This move comes in response to President Donald Trump’s recent decision to assume control of D.C.’s police department and deploy the National Guard without consulting local officials.

The proposed District of Columbia Police Home Rule Act would repeal the president’s authority to federalize the Metropolitan Police Department, while the District of Columbia National Guard Home Rule Act would designate the D.C. mayor as Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard, aligning with the powers held by state governors.

“President Trump’s unprecedented federalization of the D.C. Police today and his activation of the D.C. National Guard without D.C.’s consent underscore the necessity of D.C. statehood,” said Congresswoman Norton.

The other six suspects indicted are (via WXIX):

  • Aisha Devaughn, 26, of Evanston
  • Dominique Kittle, 37, of Walnut Hills
  • Jermaine Matthews, 39, of East Price Hill
  • Montianez Merriweather, 34, of South Cumminsville
  • Patrick Rosemond, 38, of Reading
  • Dekyra Vernon, 24, of Evanston

WXIX reported:

Cincinnati police have arrested the seventh suspect in connection with what Cincinnati’s police chief calls a “violent attack” Downtown, according to Hamilton County court officials.

Court documents show that Gregory Wright, 32, is facing one count of aggravated riot and aggravated robbery.

Jail records show that he was booked into the jail at 4:30 p.m. Monday.

The Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Crime Stoppers posted on their Facebook page on Friday that police were searching for the seventh suspect, who has now been confirmed to be Wright.

Central Business District Commander Adam Hennie claims that the suspect took a gold chain off the victim’s neck while he is being beaten on the ground.

“The suspect then walks away from the location and places property in his pocket, then proceeds to film the rest of the events,” Commander Hennie said.

Cincinnati mob violence victim who goes by ‘Holly,’ blasted Democrat leaders for being soft on crime during a press conference with GOP Ohio Senator Bernie Moreno last Wednesday.

Last week Holly said she is suffering “very bad” brain trauma after the horrific attack by a mostly black mob at a jazz festival last weekend.

Trans sex offender escapes prosecution after trying to kidnap child during elementary school recess

A transgender registered sex offender will escape prosecution after he tried to kidnap a child from a Colorado schoolyard — thanks to a controversial law that has faced criticism from prosecutors and even the suspect’s lawyer.

Solomon Galligan — who now reportedly goes by Carmen — was found by doctors to be mentally incompetent after he allegedly attempted to snatch the 11-year-old boy during recess at Black Forest Hills Elementary School in Aurora in April 2024.

And because the suspected creep can’t be “restored” to competency, according to his evaluation, the judge overseeing Galligan case was left with no choice but to dismiss the charges under a 2024 amendment to the state’s much-maligned competency law.

After years in and out of the criminal justice system, Galligan, 33, now could again find himself back on the streets, Ryan Brackley, who prosecuted the case as the assistant district attorney in Colorado’s 18th Judicial District, told The Post.

And victims and criminal justice advocates alike are sounding the alarm over the threat.

Manslaughter, Arson, Hate Crimes — See All The Crimes Suspects In New York Now Get Released For Under Bail Reform

As New York celebrates the start of 2020, a host of new laws are taking effect at midnight — including one releasing scores of potentially dangerous suspects from jail and back onto city streets.

New York’s bail reform law eliminates pretrial detention and cash bail for the vast majority of misdemeanor and non-violent felony cases. Hundreds of offenses such as stalking, grand larceny, assault as a hate crime, and second degree manslaughter will no longer be eligible for bail or pretrial detention.

“They eliminated bail but they never put in the safeguard we need of allowing a judge to assess dangerousness and the result is we’ve got some glaring loopholes that will go into effect,” Mark Peters warned.

CBS2’s Urban Affairs Expert says this sets New York apart from other states, such as New Jersey, which have also eliminated cash bail.

“So someone can walk up to someone on the street punch them in the face and if they haven’t done lasting physical injury there’s no bail available… they’ll be let out that day they can go punch someone the next day,” Peters added.

“I’m Trying to Hold My Temper” – Race Baiting MSNBC Commentator TRIGGERED by Trump’s Crackdown on Crime in DC, Blames Obsession with Black Lives Matter and “Racial Politics” to Distract from Epstein Story

Eddie Glaude, an Ivy League critical race theory and African American studies professor at Princeton, went on MSNBC on Monday to condemn President Trump’s federalization of DC’s Metropolitan Police Department, blaming racism and Jeffrey Epstein for the move.

“I’m trying to hold my temper,” Glaude told MSNBC’s Chris Jansing in response to the President’s comments during a press conference earlier. “I think there’s an ongoing argument that he’s having in his head with Black Lives Matter.”

It should be noted that in 2021, over 96% of suspects in Washington, DC homicides and nonfatal shootings were black, according to a National Institute for Criminal Justice Reform report.

“He really doesn’t really care about what’s actually happening in DC… because he’s not trying to get at the underlying root causes,” Glaude continued.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump announced on Monday that he is taking federal control over DC’s Metropolitan Police Department and authorizing the use of national guard troops to solve the “public safety emergency” in the nation’s capital.

Trump also called on Republicans in Congress to change the statutes to get rid of “no cash bail” and “some of the other things” that empower criminals in DC and other major cities across the nation.

“This city will no longer be a sanctuary for illegal alien criminals. We will have full, seamless, integrated cooperation at all levels of law enforcement, and we’ll deploy officers across the district with an overwhelming presence,” Trump said.

United States Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro went off earlier on the “young punks” that are terrorizing the city and revealed that minors are not even being prosecuted for violent crime but, instead, receiving a slap on the wrist and released back into the community.

THE BOMBSHELL THEY COULDN’T BURY— FDA ADMITS IT: mRNA COVID VACCINES CAUSE “EXTREMELY HIGH” RISK OF MYOCARDITIS AND PERMANENT HEART DAMAGE

The FDA has officially labeled mRNA COVID-19 vaccines as carrying an “extremely high” risk of myocarditis and irreversible heart damage — especially in young men.

This is a public admission that the Biden regime, Big Pharma, and the media knowingly hid the dangers. Millions were injected without informed consent.

The truth is now official. And accountability is coming.

THE BOMBSHELL THEY COULDN’T BURY: FDA FORCED TO ADMIT THE TRUTH UNDER TRUMP’S COMMAND

For years, the American people were gaslit, mocked, silenced, deplatformed, and destroyed for daring to speak a single forbidden sentence:

“These vaccines are dangerous.”

In July 2025, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) — operating under the restored constitutional leadership of President Donald J. Trump — has formally updated the safety labeling on all mRNA COVID-19 vaccines to include the chilling truth:

“EXTREMELY HIGH RISK of myocarditis, particularly in young males, with a real potential for irreversible heart damage.”

Pfizer’s Comirnaty and Moderna’s Spikevax — the sacred cows of Big Pharma, promoted with religious intensity during the Biden regime — are now officially marked as potential death sentences for America’s youth. This isn’t conspiracy. It’s regulatory fact.

Journalist Notes ‘Tone Deaf’ Disconnection Between Democrats and Reality on Crime in DC

Alex Thompson of Axios took apart the new argument from Democrats that crime in Washington, DC is down, noting that their approach is tone deaf.

He says that while Democrats point to statistics, their numbers don’t match the feeling of regular people in the city who do not feel safe.

A co-panelist then jumps in to say that this is very much like last year, when Democrats kept insisting that the economy was great, which didn’t match with people’s feelings.

Partial transcript via Curtis Houck on Twitter/X:

“What’s striking is that national Democrats are not following Mayor Bowser’s lead on this, and that national Democrats have been insisting, ‘just look at the statistics. We have 30 year, 30 year low, you know, violent crime’…I’ve talked to Democrat strategists today that think that, you know, national Democrats saying, ‘look at the statistics’ is sort of a tone deaf way to react.”

“And it’s very much — isn’t this the exact same problem that Democrats had last year? ‘Look at the statistics! We promise you the economy is great’ while people are going, ‘it doesn’t feel great to me.’ That feels like a lot of this conversation around crime that you can point to statistics all day long that say, ‘hey, D.C. is safer this year than it was last year,’ but do people feel safe? Bottom line, if they don’t, they may be more okay with something that would otherwise be considered extraordinary.”

Shocking Discovery: Neolithic Farmers Cannibalized Enemy Families

A gruesome archaeological discovery in Spain has revealed that 5,700 years ago, Neolithic farmers engaged in systematic cannibalism against entire families, challenging the peaceful image of early agricultural societies. The disturbing evidence from El Mirador cave in the Sierra de Atapuerca suggests that violent inter-group warfare, not survival or ritual, drove these acts of human consumption according to a new study.

Researchers led by Francesc Marginedas from the Catalan Institute of Human Paleoecology and Social Evolution have uncovered the butchered remains of at least 11 individuals – including children as young as seven – showing unmistakable signs of cannibalistic processing. The comprehensive study published in Scientific Reports provides the most detailed evidence yet of warfare-driven cannibalism among Europe’s earliest farming communities.

The victims, ranging from infants to elderly adults, were systematically skinned, dismembered, cooked, and consumed in what researchers describe as an act of “ultimate elimination” by a rival group. This horrifying discovery adds to mounting evidence that the Neolithic period was far more violent than previously imagined.

Systematic Butchery Reveals Horrific Details

The analysis of over 650 bone fragments revealed extensive evidence of deliberate processing. Cut marks, percussion fractures, and boiling traces indicate that the victims were methodically butchered for consumption over several days. Microscopic examination showed that skin and muscle were sliced off, bones were cracked open for marrow extraction, and some remains were translucent from boiling.

“The pattern of modifications found on the modified Neolithic human bones of El Mirador cave is inconsistent with ritual or survival scenarios,” the researchers explain in their study. “Instead, the evidence supports a comprehensive butchering process involving meat, viscera, bone marrow, and brain extraction.”

Human tooth marks found on smaller bones provide particularly disturbing evidence that the perpetrators chewed on their victims’ remains. The extensive nature of the processing suggests this was not an opportunistic act of desperation but a deliberate and systematic consumption of defeated enemies.

The victims included three children, two juveniles, and six adults, representing what appears to be an entire extended family wiped out in a single violent episode. Significantly, the age distribution doesn’t match what researchers would expect from famine-driven cannibalism, which typically affects the most vulnerable populations.

New EU Media “Freedom Law” Allows for Journalist Arrests if Justified by “Public Interest”

The European Union’s “European Media Freedom Act” became binding law across all member states on August 8, but behind its name lies a set of provisions that could restrict the very freedoms it claims to safeguard.

We obtained a copy of the act for you here.

Alongside language about protecting reporters, the regulation authorizes arrests, sanctions, and surveillance of journalists whenever authorities say it serves an “overriding reason in the general interest.”

Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, hailed the legislation’s arrival on social media, saying, “A free and independent press is an essential pillar of our democracy. With our European Media Freedom Act, we want to improve their protection. This allows journalists to continue their important work safely and without disruption or intimidation.”

Although the law outlines protections such as prohibiting spyware or coercion to expose sources, those assurances are undercut by built-in loopholes.

Governments can bypass them if their actions are allowed under national or EU law and deemed proportionate to a vaguely defined “general interest.”

That permission extends to intrusive surveillance technologies in cases tied to crimes carrying a maximum prison term of three years or more, a list that ranges from terrorism and human trafficking to offenses labeled as “racism and xenophobia.”

The legislation also orders each country to maintain registers of media owners and addresses. It targets so-called “disinformation,” accusing some media outlets of manipulating the single market to spread falsehoods.

Large online platforms are portrayed as choke points for access to news, blamed for fueling polarization.
