NBC News Report on Kyle Rittenhouse Spider Bite Proves You Don’t Hate Media Enough

In 2020, then 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse found himself in a situation he never should have been thrust into. By that, I don’t blame him, but the rampaging mob that decided to chase a teenager in the middle of a riot. They not only knew he was armed, but one of the mob tried to disarm him during the confrontation, making it clear that Rittenhouse had reason to fear for his life. The reporting of that incident was a journalistic tragedy, though, as many people had very strong opinions as to what happened, all while being very wrong about what happened.

And now, NBC News has decided to repeat that mistake by covering, of all things, Rittenhouse getting a spider bite.

I saw that Rittenhouse was in the hospital dealing with the bite, but while I hope he will make a full recovery, I didn’t think of it as particularly newsworthy. The guy got bitten by a nasty spider. It sucks and all, but it just wasn’t something I figured I needed to report on.

NBC News, however, was apparently very bored, which I guess is fine. What isn’t fine is just how they describe things in that tweet.

We know that, for better or worse, there are a lot of people who never do more than read the tweets as they’re presented, and look at what they see. Kyle Rittenhouse, you see, opened fire at a civil rights rally. He didn’t defend himself from a rampaging mob trying to kill him. He didn’t shoot a man who’d already assaulted him once with a deadly weapon (a skateboard) and was trying to do it again. He didn’t shoot a third man who pointed a gun at him following all of this, the only one he didn’t kill.

No, he just shot at some peaceful civil rights rally.

Spare me.

Luckily, NBC News is being dragged over this journalistic abomination.

WaPo Satellite Analysis: Iran Hit More Than 225 U.S. Military Assets Across Region Through Mid-April

Iranian airstrikes that were launched to retaliate for the unprovoked U.S.-Israeli attack on the country have hit almost 230 U.S. military assets across the region, a review of satellite imagery by The Washington Post shows.

The damage, the Post reported, exceeds that reported by the Defense Department.

The report comes a week after the department’s head bean-counter low-balled the cost of the war during testimony before the U.S. House Armed Services Committee.

In late March, The New York Times revealed that Iranian strikes had wrecked 13 military bases across the Middle East.

But this latest report suggests that Iran hit back hard. And, it shows, Trump’s war planners underestimated Iran’s ability to defend itself and inflict costly damage.

The airstrikes “have damaged or destroyed at least 228 structures or pieces of equipment at U.S. military sites across the Middle East since the war began, hitting hangars, barracks, fuel depots, aircraft and key radar, communications and air defense equipment,” the imagery showed:

The amount of destruction is far larger than what has been publicly acknowledged by the U.S. government or previously reported.

The threat of air attacks rendered some of the U.S. bases in the region too dangerous to staff at normal levels, and commanders moved most of the personnel from these sites out of the range of Iranian fire at the start of the war, officials have said.

While imagery of the region is difficult to obtain, the newspaper scrutinized more than 100 images that Iran released. It validated 109 against the European Union’s low-resolution Copernicus system and the Planet system’s high-resolution imagery. While the Post excluded some images, none was manipulated.

“In a separate search of Planet imagery, Post reporters found 10 damaged or destroyed structures that were not documented in the imagery released by Iran,” the newspaper continued:

In all, The Post found 217 structures and 11 pieces of equipment that were damaged or destroyed at 15 U.S. military sites in the region.

In other words, Iran had no trouble hitting targets:

“The Iranian attacks were precise. There are no random craters indicating misses,” said Mark Cancian, a senior adviser with the Center for Strategic and International Studies and a retired Marine Corps colonel, who reviewed the Iranian images at The Post’s request. The Post previously revealed how Russia provided Iran with intelligence to target U.S. forces.

Some of the damage may have occurred after U.S. troops already left the bases, making protection of the structures less vital. Cancian and other experts said they do not believe the attacks have significantly limited the U.S. military’s ability to conduct its bombing campaign in Iran.

Ex-FBI agent turned podcaster ‘intentionally’ and ‘unsafely’ fired gun before he was ousted: memos

An ex-FBI agent turned provocative podcaster was kicked out of the bureau after he “intentionally” discharged his weapon in an “unsafe manner” on a training range while his instructor was in the line of fire, according to the bureau’s incident report obtained by Just the News and congressional testimony that challenges his self-portrayal as a whistleblower who faced retaliation.

The records, obtained under the Freedom of Information Act and from court files, show Kyle Matthew Seraphin was “permanently suspended” from the FBI on June 1,2022, just eight weeks after the alleged incident at a New Mexico gun range on April 1, 2022. The incident was deemed so reckless that he was referred to FBI internal affairs, the documents show.

Seraphin acknowledged to Just the News in an interview last year that he was “dicking around” when he fired his weapon at his supervisor’s target at the range in 2022, but he insisted the incident should not have led to his suspension and termination and that he believes he was a victim of whistleblower retaliation.

He has leveraged his story as an alleged whistleblower who exposed anti-Catholic bias and resisted the FBI’s vaccine mandate under former Director Christopher Wray to a popular anti-bureau podcast where he fashions himself as one of the bureau’s “suspendables,” a group of agents whose security clearances were suspended.

His notoriety has also landed him in a defamation lawsuit brought by current FBI Director Kash Patel’s girlfriend, whom he accused on his podcast of being an Israeli Mossad “honeypot.” His portrayal as a whistleblower is front and center in his defense motion to dismiss that litigation.

“Between late 2021 and late 2022, Mr. Seraphin gained national notoriety as a ‘whistleblower’ for refusing to participate in the FBI’s mandatory vaccine policy and what he alleged to be potential perjury by Attorney General Merrick Garland,” his motion to dismiss declares.

You can read that motion, here:

Remarkably, his own lawyers put the word whistleblower in quote marks in that court document.

France Moves to Break Encrypted Messaging

France’s intelligence delegation in parliament has formally backed breaking the encryption that protects WhatsApp, Signal, and Telegram conversations, recommending that magistrates and intelligence agents be granted what lawmakers describe as targeted access to messages that platforms currently cannot read even themselves.

The delegation, an eight-member body composed of four deputies and four senators, published its conclusions on Monday after months of work on a question that keeps returning to the French Parliament. “The inability to access the content of encrypted communications constitutes a major obstacle for the work of the justice system and intelligence services,” the delegation wrote, framing end-to-end encryption as a problem to be solved rather than a protection to be preserved.

The technology end-to-end encryption uses is precisely the thing the delegation wants weakened. Decryption keys live on user devices, not on company servers, which means the platforms holding your messages genuinely cannot read them. That’s the design and the point. Strip that property away and the protection collapses because a system that lets investigators read messages on demand is also a system that can be abused, leaked, subpoenaed, or hacked.

French police and intelligence services have spent years complaining about this tech. They can still intercept old-fashioned phone calls and SMS messages with a judge’s warrant but encrypted platforms route around that capability entirely.

False Framing of Federal Raid on Disney Ship: Child Pornography, Not Anti-Immigrant Sentiment

Liberals and the mainstream media were wrong. The Disney raid was not about hate for immigrants or brown people. It was about child pornography.

Between April 23 and 27, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) boarded eight cruise ships at the Port of San Diego Cruise Ship Terminal as part of an ongoing Child Sexual Exploitation Material (CSAM) enforcement operation.

On April 28, HSI San Diego arrested 23 crew members from multiple ships under Operation Tidal Wave, acting on intelligence from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). Electronic service providers, platforms such as WhatsApp, Google, and iCloud, are legally required to report detected CSAM to NCMEC, which routes tips to HSI for investigation.

The process is automated and mandatory, initiated by algorithmic detection rather than any administration policy. Of the 28 people detained, CBP confirmed 27 were involved in the receipt, possession, transportation, distribution, or viewing of CSAM, 26 Filipino nationals, one Portuguese, and one Indonesian. Ten were workers on the Disney Magic.

The Disney Magic is registered in the Bahamas, as are the majority of major cruise ships. Because it flies a foreign flag, U.S. labor laws do not apply, and the crew held C1/D crewmember visas rather than standard U.S. work permits. Foreign registry does not, however, create immunity from U.S. federal criminal law.

CBP retains full authority to board vessels entering U.S. ports, and CSAM possession and distribution are federal crimes regardless of where a ship is flagged. Following confirmed CSAM findings, CBP cancelled the visas of all 27 and returned them to their countries of citizenship. Disney stated it has a zero-tolerance policy, cooperated fully with law enforcement, and terminated the employees involved.

Media framing made it appear that ICE raided a Disney ship for no good reason and arrested the crew “in front of children” and “stunned passengers “simply for being foreign. The only reason given in these posts was that President Trump hates brown people, ignoring the fact that the people arrested were not necessarily brown. Bored Panda ran reader commentary stating: “Let’s remember that this is the Trump administration making claims about brown foreign workers.”

The Most Direct Social Engineering Propaganda You’ll EVER See

A new Channel 5 drama series has delivered what many are calling peak social conditioning: a classroom scene where a teacher is berated by students for failing to instantly adopt preferred pronouns and for daring to stage Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

A clip, shared widely on social media, shows an old-school drama teacher clashing with pupils over basic biology, literature, and “respecting identities.”

In the footage, a student corrects the teacher when she uses the wrong name for a student who has decided to swap genders and adopt new pronouns: “Their name is Dee now actually,” one student explains, adding “you just deadnamed them Miss.”

The teacher responds: “I’m sorry. I’ve known you as Daphne for two years and can’t click a switch. I am trying.”

Another insufferable student fires back: “You shouldn’t have to try. You either see them or you don’t. I think you should apologise.”

The teacher then puts her foot in it again and states: “I just did, and am sure she can fight her own battles!”

“It’s they not she… It’s about respecting other people’s identity,” the student lectures.

Later, students challenge the Shakespeare choice, with one suggesting “There’s a consent issue. Titania is drugged before sleeping with Bottom… It’s also anti-feminist portraying women as submissive and dependent on men… to a modern audience it could be quite triggering.”

The scene perfectly captures the absurdity: instant language policing, classic literature deemed harmful for not meeting 2020s standards, and virtue-signalling students demanding deference.

This isn’t subtle. It’s overt social engineering dressed as entertainment.

Obama Slammed for ‘Disgusting’ Decision to Speak at Event Organized by Man with Troubling Past

Former President Barack Obama is under fire for his decision to speak at an upcoming event in Napa Valley, California.

According to Politico, the former president will deliver remarks to an audience of CEOs brought together by Declan Kelly, former chairman and chief executive of the consulting firm Teneo, who resigned from that position after reportedly getting drunk and groping a number of women at a high-powered charity event in 2021.

“It’s disgusting to have a president who has championed women speak at an event hosted by someone with this type of track record of treating women,” a female former employee said, speaking on condition of anonymity, according to Politico.

Another anonymous former Teneo employee agreed.

“President Obama should not be in the business of rehabbing the reputation and accepting money from someone accused of groping multiple people at a charity event. Some red lines are not meant to be crossed,” the second former employee said, according to Politico.

According to a report at the time from the New York Post’s Page Six, the 2021 charity event was the VIP party that followed the Vax Live concert organized by the organization Global Citizen.

Vax Live billed itself as “a global broadcast special celebrating COVID-19 vaccines.” It was chaired by Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan, and featured messages from the now-deceased Pope Francis and then-President Joe Biden.

“One source told Page Six that Kelly was extremely drunk and acted inappropriately with as many as six women at the party in front of other guests,” the column reported.

Kelly resigned from Teneo less than two months later, according to a CNBC report.

“Since the event two months ago Mr. Kelly immediately committed to sobriety, is undertaking ongoing counselling from healthcare professionals, and has temporarily reduced his work responsibilities,” a representative of Kelly told The Wall Street Journal at the time.

Meanwhile, Kelly’s connections to powerful figures in the Democratic Party go beyond Obama.

From 2009 through 2011, Kelly served as special economic envoy to Northern Ireland under then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Likewise, a co-founder of Teneo, the company Kelly led, was Doug Band, a one-time counselor to former President Bill Clinton who was credited in a 2020 Vanity Fair as having “virtually invented Clinton’s postpresidential life.”

Now, Kelly serves as founder, chairman, and CEO of the investment company Consello. Senior management at the company includes former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

Consello organized the event where Obama will speak.

HELL FREEZES OVER: CBS News ‘Fact Checks’ Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass From Debate, Says Spencer Pratt Was Right

Something has shifted in the race for mayor of Los Angeles after Spencer Pratt’s amazing performance in the debate earlier this week.

Even CBS News has done a ‘fact check’ on incumbent Democrat candidate Karen Bass, something that is usually reserved for Republican candidates. It’s extremely rare for the media to call out a Democrat candidate in this way.

The fact check had mostly to do with claims made about the wildfires, which are clearly going to play a much larger role in this race than Democrats were hoping.

John Nolte writes at Breitbart News:

Here is a partially edited transcript from the debate that’s relevant to the first CBS News fact check about the mayor’s epic mishandling of the 2025 Palisades Fire that destroyed nearly 7,000 structures and killed 12 people:

SPENCER PRATT: A lot of people talk about climate change and hurricane-force winds. The winds in the Pacific Palisades never reached higher than 40 mph. For those first six hours, they didn’t go above 27 miles per hour.

The whole point of this exchange is that Bass is running around blaming the fire on Climate Change.

KAREN BASS: He talked about the winds — that is just completely inaccurate. If that were accurate, then the planes would have been able to fly. And so if the winds reached close to 100 miles an hour and the planes were unable to fly.

PRATT: Yes, she mentioned me. So this is — she’s an incredible liar. Everyone on their phones, Google it. 40 weather stations in the Pacific Palisades. It never went above 40 miles per hour. She is referencing the Altadena fire.

BIASED LEFTIST MODERATOR: I have to interrupt you. No name-calling, please.

PRATT: Yeah, but no name calling? She just lied though… No more lying. We need the truth.

Here’s the CBS News fact check:

Weather modeling reviewed for my reporting shows winds in the Palisades during those first several hours of the fire were, in fact under 40 miles per hour. Planes could and did fly. Stronger winds intensified later in the evening. And that distinction matters because the earliest hours of a wildfire are often the most critical for containment.

Radical Leftist Adored by Democrats Pushes ‘Violent Revolution’ Following Court Decision Against Virginia Gerrymander

People in the left are absolutely frothing at the mouth over the decision by the Virginia Supreme Court that tore down their effort to gerrymander the state.

Hasan Piker, an America-hating, self-proclaimed communist and streamer, who Democrats just can’t seem to get enough of, has alsready suggested violent revolution as a fix for the problem.

It’s just amazing how political violence has become so normal for people on the left. They just want their way and will do anything to get it.

FOX News reports:

Leftist streamer calls violent revolution ‘inevitable’ as Democrats explode over Virginia court decision

Democrats exploded in fury Friday after the Virginia Supreme Court struck down a party-backed redistricting map central to their midterm election strategy, with at least one prominent leftist voice going so far as to call violent revolution “inevitable.”

In a 4-3 decision, the Virginia Supreme Court ruled that a voter-approved map, which would give Democrats a 10-1 advantage in U.S. House races, violated the state’s constitution because of procedural errors in the map’s passage. Virginia voters will cast ballots in the 2026 midterms using the same district maps from the 2022 and 2024 elections, which Democrats currently hold 6-5.

But Democratic lawmakers and commentators alike have framed the Supreme Court’s ruling as an act going against the will of the people. Hasan Piker, a popular leftist streamer who has espoused antisemitic rhetoric and campaigns with congressional candidates, accused the Virginia Supreme Court of denying the results of the state’s redistricting referendum.

“Scotus gutted the voting rights act and tennessee carved up the last dem district destroying black voter power in the state,” Piker wrote on X. “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible, make violent revolution inevitable.”

Deep State Leaks CIA Iran War Dossier to WaPo

The Deep State leaked a CIA Iran war dossier to the Washington Post that refutes Trump’s claims that the Iranian Regime’s missiles are mostly decimated.

On Wednesday, President Trump sparred with a reporter in the Oval Office during a meeting with UFC fighters.

The reporter asked Trump about his decision to pause Project Freedom amid a blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump told the reporter that the US military has decimated Iran’s missile capabilities and they probably only have about 18 percent left.

“You’re facing an opponent right now in Iran that has refused to submit. You seem optimistic announcing you may be closer to a deal – but what’s different now?” a reporter asked Trump about his latest decision to pause Project Freedom.

“Well, why do you say they refused to submit? You don’t know that! You don’t know what’s going on behind closed doors,” Trump said.

The reporter tried to interject: “They were firing on US troops a few days ago…”

“Yeah, a few days ago is a long time ago. You know, in the world of war, a few days ago, no, they want to make a deal badly. And we’ll see if we get there,” Trump said.

“If we get there, they can’t have nuclear weapons. You know, it’s very simple. But what’s not to submit? So they had a Navy with one hundred and fifty nine ships and now every ship is blown to pieces and lying at the bottom of the water,” Trump added.

“They had an air force, lots of planes, and they don’t have any planes. They don’t have any anti aircraft. They don’t have any radar left,” the president said.

“Their missiles are mostly decimated. They have some. They have probably 18, 19 percent, but not a lot by comparison to what they had,” he said.

“And their leaders are all dead. So I think we won. Now it’s only a question of, look, if we left right now around, it would take them 20 years to rebuild!” Trump said. “We’re in good shape.”
