CNN Now Pushing Conspiracy Theory That Trump is Going to Cancel Future Elections

CNN is now pushing the conspiracy theory, popular among leftists, that President Trump is going to cancel future elections.

For years, while Republicans were out of power, CNN and other liberal media outlets constantly accused people on the right of embracing and pushing conspiracy theories. You know, things like the Hunter Biden laptop, Biden’s mental infirmity, things like that which ultimately turned out to be true.

Now that Democrats are out of power, CNN thinks nothing of pushing untrue conspiracy theories, just because they think it could potentially harm Trump politically.

This is an actual CNN report:

Trump canceling elections? Democrats increasingly sound alarm bells.https://t.co/17MmM4npRH

— Aaron Blake (@AaronBlake) September 2, 2025

From the report:

When President Donald Trump sat down with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky last month, the topic was the weighty issue of ending Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. But at one point, Trump took a provocative diversion into domestic politics.

Zelensky noted that, in his country, the law doesn’t allow for elections during periods of martial law.

“So you say during the war, you can’t have elections,” Trump responded. “So let me just say, three and a half years from now – so you mean, if we happen to be in a war with somebody, no more elections? Oh, that’s good.”

Laughter ensued. Trump wondered aloud what the “fake news” would do with his comment.

But increasingly, Democrats aren’t laughing.

A growing number of them are arguing Trump will do something to either try to cancel or commandeer elections to keep his hold on power.

That might seem ridiculous to some. Trump hasn’t explicitly said he plans to cancel elections, and he said last month he would “probably not” run for a third term, which the Constitution forbids anyway. But the president has certainly floated such possibilities before and done plenty of anti-democratic things.

Yes, an NBC News Reporter Pitched This Question to the Epstein Victims. Their Answer Won’t Please Dems.

The Jeffrey Epstein story was bound to become a circus, and the chances doubled once Democrats and the liberal media thought they could use it to take down President Donald Trump. The derangement exhibited by these people has long reached epic levels, to the point where rumor and speculation has replaced reality and facts. Also, isn’t this a form of re-victimization? We’ll get to that in a second.

First, there was a presser with Epstein’s reported victims on the steps of the Capitol. Later, NBC News’ Hallie Jackson asked if any of the survivors saw Donald Trump do “doing anything inappropriate as it related to Jeffrey Epstein.”

They all said no.

I thought this was about justice for the victims, who were abused by the dead New York financier and his right-hand woman Ghislaine Maxwell, who Democrats lusted to be deposed, got deposed, and then also exonerated Trump. It’s funny how this cracked out Law and Order: SVU-style circus on the Hill is couched as a crusade for transparency, but Trump is seen as the main villain. Again, not shocking, not surprising, and absolutely how we all expected this to go down.

Sick Leftist Audience Boos When Colbert Tells Them Trump Is Alive

Canned talk show host Stephen Colbert’s leftist audience proved how demented and sick they are by loudly booing when Colbert addressed stupid online rumours of President Trump’s demise and lamented that the President “is very much alive.”

Colbert stated “It’s great to be back with all of you. We were on vacation for three weeks, but I want you to know I take this job seriously, and while we were gone, I still closely followed all the news that was on any cocktail napkin.”

“When I came back in the office, I was shocked to learn that this weekend, the biggest story was, ‘Frenzied social media rumors speculating whether Donald Trump had died,’” The Late Show host continued, prompting the lunatics in the audience to cheer.

“For the record, Donald Trump is very much alive,” Colbert announced, sending the twisted audience into loud boos.

“No, we like our presidents a lot,” Colbert responded, adding, “Donald Trump is very much alive, and this whole crazy rumour started simply because Trump has zero events on his schedule Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.”

The host then did a ‘comedy’ bit that wasn’t at all funny as usual.

“And one of the only signs that he might still be around was ‘music in the Rose Garden, which the White House confirmed was the president’s music, which I gotta say, is not the strongest proof of life,” Colbert further blathered.

Colbert then mimicked a White House staffer, stating “Yes, nurse, I do see that flatline, but the patient is clearly alive, because his iPhone is playing ‘Papa Loves Mambo.’”

HA HA HA. Sooooo hilarious.

CNN Panelist Jonah Goldberg Floats Gun Confiscation Fantasy: Democrats Could Deploy Military to Seize Guns from Law-Abiding Americans

Jonah Goldberg, editor-in-chief of The Dispatch and longtime Never-Trumper, suggested that the Democrats could send the military to confiscate firearms from law-abiding Americans.

Goldberg framed his comments during a panel discussion on violent crime in major Democrat-run cities, comparing it to Donald Trump’s efforts to use federal resources to restore order in places like Chicago.

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson signed an executive order last month, titled the “Protecting Chicago Initiative,” aimed at preventing the potential deployment of the National Guard by President Donald Trump to address the city’s rampant crime issues.

Johnson, a far-left Democrat, claims the order is necessary to defend residents’ constitutional rights amid fears of what he calls an “unconstitutional and illegal military occupation.”

The executive order comes as the Trump administration considers using Naval Station Great Lakes, a Navy base near Chicago, as a staging ground for immigration enforcement operations involving more than 200 Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agents.

Trump has been vocal about addressing Chicago’s crime woes, recently stating after deploying the National Guard to Washington, D.C., that his team would “straighten out” Chicago next, calling it “a mess” under an “incompetent mayor.”

During a CNN interview, Goldberg argued that if Republicans set certain precedents (like Trump’s use of power), then Democrats could use the same logic on issues they care about, such as guns.

He claimed if a Democratic governor like Pritzker (IL) or Newsom (CA) says “We have a gun crisis in America”, then under that precedent, they could justify sending in the National Guard to confiscate guns.

MSNBC Host Does Absolutely DEMENTED Monologue About How Democrats Need to ‘Start’ Fighting Dirty

For anyone who doesn’t remember, Ali Velshi of MSNBC is the guy who stood in front of a burning building during the 2020 riots and declared that the situation was mostly a protest.

Now he has just done a monologue on the air that must be witnessed to be believed.

Velshi thinks Democrats need to ‘start’ fighting dirty. Apparently, the non-stop investigations, frivolous lawsuits, meaningless impeachments and assassination attempts just weren’t dirty enough.

At one point in his insane rambling, Velshi declares that the Republican party is no longer functioning. That will be news to them, considering that they currently control all three branches of government and the Supreme Court.

Velshi also claims here that he is not a Democrat, and not here to do PR for Democrats, then goes on to do exactly that for almost eight minutes.

There are so many things wrong with this monologue that it’s amazing it made it to air, but it’s a window into the deluded mind of the left.

Partial transcript via Real Clear Politics:

ALI VELSHI, MSNBC HOST: Today we speak with some reverence about the U.S. Constitution. The document, remarkable for its time, that established our democracy and still guides and informs our rights and freedoms to this day. But when the U.S. Constitution was presented to the Founding Fathers for ratification, they weren’t universally enthusiastic about it.

In 1787, ever the optimist, 81-year-old Benjamin Franklin delivered his final speech to the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia. He had to convince several delegates to sign on to the Constitution. Many of them harbored hesitations.

In fact, Franklin had a few himself. He acknowledged that the Constitution was indeed flawed and left space for the possibility that over time, as society and opinions changed, so would this document. But despite its faults, Franklin believed this Constitution was better than the alternative, living under a monarchy without representative democracy.

It was the no-kings movement of the time. Franklin was able to persuade the holdouts. The Constitution was signed, and the United States of America was born.

It is said that on the way out of the convention, Benjamin Franklin was asked what sort of government the delegates had just created. He responded, quote, “A republic, if you can keep it.”

Our Constitution, and more broadly, our democracy, has been resilient, more of a cactus than a rose. But it does require some attention. Even in easy times, this democracy needs care.

And we’re not in easy times. Right now, it’s in dire need of defense, and it needs defenders who are willing to do whatever it takes.

True democracy also requires the competition of ideas. When that does not exist, political parties stop functioning properly. And when even one of our two major parties stops functioning, democracy itself is put at risk.

We all know by now that the Republican Party is no longer a functioning political party in America. It is a fully captured vessel of authoritarianism, which makes it even more vital that the Democratic Party rise to this moment in defense of our democracy. But whether national democratic leadership is unwilling or simply unable to do so, they are largely not rising to this moment.

Fired ABC Hack Terry Moran’s Latest TDS Meltdown: Trump “Is the man that we were warned about by the founders”

In June, ABC hack-reporter Terry Moran was fired following an X post attacking President Trump and White House Advisor Stephen Miller.

Although Moran tried to quickly delete the post, it sealed his fate with his former network.

Following his ouster, Moran made it clear he is a left-wing activist and launched a new journey to ‘fight for democracy’ during this “dark time” in American history.

During an interview on ‘In Good Faith,’ Moran revealed the extent of his virulent Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS).

“What we are seeing is, no doubt, what other countries have seen a lot. What our Founding Fathers predicted would happen.”

“A great, strong man, would arrive, and not great in the good sense but great in the power sense.”

“Trump is the most dominant figure of our age around the world. Don’t underestimate him. He is a world historical figure and he is the man that we were warned about by the founders.”

“That democracies fall when a man who can captivate the populace wants to exercise the power that’s there in the government, and that is what we’re watching.”

CBS News Caught Deceptively Editing Kristi Noem’s Comments on MS-13 Gang Member Kilmar Abrego Garcia

CBS News is at it again!

CBS on Sunday deceptively edited DHS Chief Kristi Noem’s comments on MS-13 gang member, wife beater and child predator, Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

A federal grand jury in Tennessee recently indicted Kilmar Abrego Garcia for “transporting undocumented migrants within the United States.”

He was charged with one count of conspiracy to transport aliens and one count of unlawful transportation of undocumented aliens.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia was ordered to be deported to the East African country of Uganda after a judge recently released him from a Tennessee prison.

However, a radical Obama-appointed judge blocked the US government from immediately deporting Abrego Garcia to Africa.

On Sunday, DHS Chief appeared on CBS’s Face the Nation to discuss the Trump Administration’s work to make the country safer by arresting and deporting dangerous criminal aliens like Abrego Garcia.

CBS cut off Kristi Noem as she was detailing Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s many crimes.

In the clip that aired, Noem said, “[And] the one thing that we will continue to do is make sure that [Abrego Garcia] does not walk free in the United States of America.”

In the unaired clip, Noem said, “This individual was a known human smuggler, MS-13 gang member, an individual who was a wife beater and someone who was so perverted that he solicited nude photos from minors and even his fellow human traffickers told him to knock it off. He was so sick in what he was doing and how he was treating small children. He needs to never be in the United States of America and our administration is making sure we’re doing all that we can to bring him to justice.”

Follow the Scientism

Because we would all prefer to forget the Covid crisis and move on, the following may have already faded from our collective memory. Only a few years ago, Australia rounded up citizens exposed to Covid, including asymptomatic people, and shipped them involuntarily to detention facilities against their will. Videos of Australian quarantine centers made their way onto social media before tech censors, at the behest of governments, dutifully scrubbed them from the internet. Many provincial governors in Australia abused their emergency powers: while not every Australian state chose full-throated authoritarianism, several of them did. Canada likewise built detention facilities for infected persons, and the state of New York fought an ongoing legal battle to do so.

Authoritarian measures during the Covid crisis went beyond forced detainment of suspected or actual cases. The Medical Indemnity Protection Society (MIPS) in Australia, which provides medical malpractice insurance to all the country’s physicians, published twelve commandments for physicians on their website to avoid disciplinary “notifications”—an Orwellian euphemism for investigations overseen by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency, the governing entity overseeing all physicians. The MIPS Commandment #9 instructed Australian doctors as follows:

Be very careful when using social media (even on your personal pages), when authoring papers or when appearing in interviews. Health practitioners are obliged to ensure their views are consistent with public health messaging. This is particularly relevant in current times. Views expressed which may be consistent with evidence-based material may not necessarily be consistent with public health messaging.

Read that last sentence one more time: “evidence-based material” refers to peer-reviewed scientific papers or other sources of credible medical information. So, if Australian doctors mention findings of a published study which are not consistent with “public health messaging”—i.e., the approved views of the public health bureaucrats in power—these physicians could potentially lose their ability to practice medicine. Notice that this applies also to physicians “authoring papers,” meaning that if a doctor conducts research and his findings contradict “public health messaging,” he’d better think twice before publishing the results.

Likewise, in the US, the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB), an authority on medical licensure and physician discipline, passed a policy in May 2022 on medical misinformation and disinformation that guides all state medical boards and the nation’s physicians they license. My home state of California took up the FSMB’s suggestion to codify these recommendations in law with Assembly Bill 2098. I traveled to Sacramento to testify against this legislation when it was debated in the State Senate.

No, That Wood-Chopping Illegal Alien in Washington State Is Not a ‘Firefighter’ or ‘Victim’

Friday night, a relative sent me a text. That wasn’t unusual. He’s recently discovered texting as a vehicle to rant, and specifically, to rant at me. The context also wasn’t unusual. It was a rant about “fascist Trump.” Trump, he wrote, had sent his stormtroopers to Washington state and they had pulled two, brave firefighters off the front lines of a forest fire. Fascist! He cried – they are pulling  firefighters away from fighting fires!  What amount of children and puppies will die because of Trump?!

This relative is a card-carrying leftist. I don’t know the source of his Kool-Aid. I could guess. Maybe it’s just ghosts in his head, but he’s not alone. Politicians who know better disseminate nonsense and half-truths to agitate the base. Gavin Newsom has been stumping lately, claiming that Trump will “cancel” the 2026 elections

After I got the text from my relative (and sighed deeply), I looked up what actually happened. This is from a  U.S. Customs and Border Protection news release:

Due to the remote location of the work site, BLM requested USBP assistance verifying the identities of all personnel present. The work crews, totaling 44 individuals, required identity verification to ensure that the individuals on-site matched the contractor rosters.

USBP agents supported BLM rangers in verifying the identities of the contracted personnel. Several discrepancies were identified, and two individuals were found to be present in the United States illegally, one with a previous order of removal. The two individuals were arrested and transported to the Bellingham Station on charges of illegal entry and 8 US Code 1326 – Reentry of removed aliens. Forty-two individuals were released from the scene and escorted off Federal lands.

The contract termination and enforcement action did not interfere with firefighting operations or the response to any active fires in the area, nor did it pose any danger to the surrounding community.

Border Patrol had been alerted that those illegal aliens had been hired by an independent, third-party contractor based in Oregon. They were “firefighters” on paper but neither were fighting fires. Border Patrol checked records, and the contractor’s records didn’t match the people on site. Officials found two guys who had entered the US illegally and detained them.

Those two were not out on the fire line stopping a fire. They weren’t saving babies. They weren’t rescuing puppies. They were chopping wood. Those two were detained and transported to a detention center. But legacy media turned the narrative into CBP and ICE pulling heroes away from the front lines. My relative bought that myth, like every myth he’s consumed since Trump was sworn in.

Dem politicians are fond of pouring gas on the fire. They are also fond of lying.

Canada’s Experience Provides Evidence Marijuana Legalization Doesn’t Fuel Gun Violence

On Fox News this week, Laura Ingraham and Alex Berenson pushed the narrative that marijuana use is fueling violent crime and mass shootings, with Berenson claiming cannabis is regularly found in autopsies and warning that rescheduling would put “public safety at stake.” It’s a familiar line from prohibition-era talking points — and one that falls apart when you look at Canada.

Canada legalized recreational marijuana for adults 18 and older in October 2018. In the years since, millions of Canadians have consumed marijuana legally, with usage rates climbing steadily. If marijuana truly triggered psychosis and mass violence on the scale Ingraham and Berenson suggest, Canada would have seen a dramatic rise in gun deaths and shootings. That hasn’t happened.

Statistics Canada data shows the homicide rate in 2019 — the first full year after legalization — actually declined slightly from 2018. Gun deaths have fluctuated year-to-year, but there has been no sudden increase linked to cannabis policy, with mass shootings remain exceedingly rare. The country’s worst modern mass shooting, in Nova Scotia in 2020, involved illegal firearms and police have confirmed that it had nothing to do with marijuana. In response, Canada tightened gun laws further, banning more than 1,500 models of assault-style weapons.

Meanwhile, cannabis consumption has grown. Surveys show that adult use climbed from around 22% in 2018 to about 27% in 2021. Emergency room visits related to cannabis rose somewhat, but public health experts attribute this to more people being willing to disclose use, not to a sudden surge in dangerous outcomes.

In short, Canada provides years of data proving that legalizing marijuana does not drive psychosis-fueled gun deaths or mass shootings. Claims to the contrary are rhetoric, not reality.
