SHOCK! CBS News Reporter Lands Job With Left-Wing Activist Group Days After Firing

Former CBS News correspondent Scott MacFarlane has got himself a job at the left-wing MeidasTouch Network just nine days after being fired from the network.

MacFarlane announced Monday that he will join MeidasTouch as chief Washington correspondent and host a daily program titled Scott MacFarlane Reports.

The move comes after his departure from CBS News, where he covered Congress and the Justice Department, including cases related to January 6th and prosecutions of President Trump.

Despite joining a network known for its links to the Democratic Party, MacFarlane insisted he is not shifting into opinion journalism.

“I’m not an opinionist, not an editorialist,” MacFarlane said in a message posted on X.

“I’m far from a politician. I’m an enterprise reporter. Have been for a quarter century.”

“What I’ll do is bring this enterprise reporting to all the components of the MeidasTouch network, all the contributors of the MeidasTouch Network.”

“It’s important when we underscore how significant this moment is, this moment of unique political toxicity and unique political danger.

“MeidasTouch and I have long shared this same philosophy — you don’t platform lies. You don’t platform conspiracy theories. And you don’t allow for the whitewashing of history.”

VICTIM BLAMING: Democrat Chicago Alderwoman Says Loyola Student Shot by Illegal Was in ‘Wrong Place, Wrong Time’

An 18-year-old Loyola University student named Sheridan Gorman was shot and killed in Chicago over the weekend by an illegal immigrant.

Maria Hadden, a Democrat alderwoman from the city has put out a video in which she says that Gorman may have just been in the wrong place at the wrong time and that she and her friends might have startled the shooter.

This is, by far, the worst reaction to this situation possible. It’s truly stunning.

A Chicago alderwoman appeared to blame an 18-year-old woman for her own fatal shooting last week, allegedly at the hands of an illegal alien.

Chicago police announced Sunday that Jose Medina-Medina had been arrested for the murder of Sheridan Gorman, a freshman at Loyola University. Chicago Alderwoman Maria Hadden speculated that Gorman was in the “wrong place at the wrong time.”

“From, from what, from what I’ve been told so far, right, from what police know, from, from speaking to the students who were with her, it seems she might have, that as they were just out, you know, people go out to the beach all the time, right?” Hadden, whose campaign website touts her status as the “first Black, queer woman elected to Chicago City Council,” said during a Thursday report by Fox 32 Chicago.

“And they go out on the pier, they walk around, so the, the kids were out doing normal, normal things people do in the neighborhood. And it sounds like this might have been a wrong place, wrong time, running into a person who had a gun, they might have unintentionally startled this person, I think.”

This is just pathetic.

Some of the Democrats who are planning to run for president in 2028 are apparently hyping up their childhood traumas. It’s a mad dash for who can be the biggest victim.

This is part of a larger trend on the left to turn the entire country into a giant college campus, with safe spaces, trigger warnings, and microaggressions where everyone is a victim, everyone is special, and everyone is perpetually offended.

If you spend any time on Twitter/X, you may know that Gavin Newsom has suddenly started talking about having Dyslexia as a child. The article gets into that:

– In his new book, “Young Man in a Hurry,” Newsom recounts having dyslexia and how his mother, Tessa— who carried most of the burden of raising him and his sister — tried to console him over his struggles in school by saying: “It’s okay to be average, Gavin.”

– Newsom writes that although she meant to comfort him, he recalls no “crueler words.”

– He also says that after his parents’ divorce his father, Bill, was often absent, leaving him looking to give his father “reasons to be a bigger part” of his life.

The report is getting dragged, for obvious reasons.

In New Orleans, desperate travelers are now sleeping in the airport so they don’t miss their flights.

Both parties have this problem. They both have members who are ancient and absolutely refuse to let go of power. It’s definitely a bigger problem for Democrats, however.

Rep. Maxine Waters suggested on Monday that she would seek to reclaim her role as chair of the Financial Services Committee should Democrats retake the House in November, at which point she would be 88 years old.

“If you take a look at my energy and what I do — I am Auntie Maxine,” Waters told Politico. “I’m the one who popularized ‘reclaiming my time.’”

Waters, who is currently 87 and has a birthday in August, has represented south Los Angeles in Congress for nearly 35 years. In 2019, she became the first Black woman to lead the Financial Services committee, which oversees everything from legislation on financial regulation and cryptocurrency to housing and lending policy.

Members of the committee, speaking anonymously to Politico, raised concerns about Waters’ fundraising efforts and lack of direct contributions to other members, a common practice for lawmakers. Others complained of Waters reveling in the spotlight rather than allowing space for younger members to lead.

But few appear willing to publicly challenge her for the role. And colleagues on the committee did commend Waters for maintaining her ability to whip bipartisan support for various housing and insurance packages. Some members also lauded her persistence in refocusing financial conversations on the needs of constituents over billionaires.

President Trump this weekend said he will be deploying ICE agents to airports across the country to help travelers swiftly get through security lines.

“The Radical Left Democrats have hurt so many people with their vicious and uncaring ways. What they have done to the Department of Homeland Security, our fantastic TSA Officers, and, most importantly, the great people of our Country, is an absolute disgrace,” Trump said.

“If the Democrats do not allow for Just and Proper Security at our Airports, and elsewhere throughout our Country, ICE will do the job far better than ever done before! The Fascist Democrats will never protect America, but the Republicans will. Just like the Radical Left allowed millions of Criminals to pour into our Country through their ridiculous and dangerous Open Border Policy, the Republicans closed it all down, and we now have the Strongest Border in American History,” Trump said.

“Likewise, I look forward to moving ICE in on Monday, and have already told them to, “GET READY.” NO MORE WAITING, NO MORE GAMES!” Trump said on Truth Social.

Democrats Rattled After California Sheriff Seizes 650,000 Ballots in Election Integrity Crackdown

Riverside County Sheriff and California gubernatorial candidate Chad Bianco has seized more than 650,000 ballots from last November’s election as part of an investigation into potential discrepancies in the county’s vote count.

The probe follows allegations from the Riverside Election Integrity Team that the county’s tally may have been inflated by more than 45,000 votes.

“This investigation is simple: Physically count the ballots and compare that result with the total votes recorded,” Bianco said at a Friday press conference.

He said the review will determine whether the results are accurate.

“There is no acceptable error, small or large, in our elections,” he said.

The investigation covers ballots tied to Proposition 50, which passed in Riverside County with 56 percent of the vote, a margin of more than 82,000 ballots.

Riverside County Registrar of Voters Art Tinoco said the alleged discrepancy stems from a misunderstanding of incomplete data.

He said the actual variance was 103 votes, or 0.016 percent.

Senate Democrats Kill Trump-Backed Amendment to Ban Men from Women’s Sports – For the FOURTH Time

Senate Democrats once again blocked a common-sense Republican amendment that would have protected women’s and girls’ sports from biological males competing as transgender athletes.

On Saturday, the Senate voted 49-41 along strict party lines to kill the amendment to the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) America Act.

The measure needed 60 votes to advance and failed, marking the fourth time Democrats have shot down identical protections.

The amendment, known as the Protection for Women and Girls in Sports Act, was sponsored by Sens. Tommy Tuberville and Marsha Blackburn. It would have barred federally funded schools and programs from allowing biological males, those identifying as transgender women or girls, to compete in female sports categories.

Republicans introduced the amendment at the demand of President Donald Trump, who has made protecting women’s sports a top priority alongside the SAVE America Act’s core goal of requiring proof of citizenship and photo ID to vote.

Speaking on the Senate floor, Tuberville blasted the repeated Democratic obstruction.

“This is the fourth time that I’ve had this bill on the floor. I’ll continue to try until I’m gone,” Tuberville said. “Every time that we’ve voted on this, I have not got one single Democrat to vote for it.”

Tuberville continued, “How about the trophies and awards that are stolen from young girls and ladies that work all their life to win a game or a sport … and they lose to somebody that’s much more physical, bigger, stronger and faster?”

Blackburn called the situation “disgusting,” pointing to cases like swimmer Lia Thomas, a biological male who switched from the men’s team at the University of Pennsylvania to the women’s squad and went on to win a national championship.

This Democrat Claims To Be Moderate, But Backs Huge Firearms Crackdowns on Law-Abiding Americans

Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez of Washington’s Third District has portrayed herself as a working class moderate Democrat. Recent stories have shown that the congresswoman is anything but, with former acquaintances claiming that she is “cosplaying as a poor person.” Her history on the Second Amendment has shown that cosplay has ventured into her policy stances as well.

During a 2022 candidate debate, Gluesenkamp Perez laid out the first steps toward restricting gun ownership for constituents by preventing adults between the ages of 18 and 20 from exercising their constitutional rights.

“I’m a pragmatist,” Gluesenkamp Perez stated. “I think the first reasonable thing is to increase the age of purchase to 21, because kids are just not as old as they used to be.”

Gluesenkamp Perez’s statements echo the 2020 Washington State Democrat Party platform that the congresswoman adopted. Some “reasonable” measures that Democrats proposed include: ending open carry in Washington, a mandatory waiting period on firearms purchases, mandatory registration and licensing, a volume limit on firearms and ammunition ownership, a sweeping “assault weapons” ban, a ban on magazines with a capacity greater than 10, mandatory liability insurance for firearms owners, the criminalization of 3-D printed firearms, and ending reciprocity for concealed carry licenses for states who wouldn’t adopt these radical restrictions.

BEYOND PARODY: Connecticut Democrats Pass Bill Requiring Photo ID to RECYCLE CANS But Won’t Support the SAVE America Act

Democrats in the state of Connecticut oppose the SAVE America Act because they don’t support the idea of having to show a photo ID in order to vote, but they recently passed a law in the state that requires photo ID to recycle aluminum cans.

You could not make this up.

Like some other states, Connecticut gives a ten cent return on empty containers instead of five cents, so people have been crossing into the state to recycle there and cash in on the higher return. The fix for this was photo ID.

But they won’t do this for voting.

Connecticut Dems demand IDs to recycle cans but reject GOP efforts to verify citizenship at polls

Connecticut Democrats recently rushed through an emergency anti-fraud law requiring bottle redemption centers to collect a copy of a person’s driver’s license when they cash in more than 1,000 cans or bottles in a day — a document demand that Republicans say undercuts the party’s attacks on voter-ID rules.

Earlier this month, an emergency certification bill, SB 299, was introduced by top Democratic leaders in the state’s legislature. It was later passed in both chambers in late February and was signed by Gov. Ned Lamont, a Democrat, on March 3.

It requires people wishing to recycle cans for money to present a copy of their driver’s license, put in place because the state has had issues with non-residents crossing its border to take advantage of its higher return rate of 10 cents a can instead of five cents. The issue was reportedly causing the state to lose significant revenue…

“In Connecticut, it seems that they are committed to securing recycling, but not to securing elections,” said Anna Pingel, America First Policy Institute’s Campaign Director for Secure Elections. “Requiring photo ID to collect cash from recycling but opposing photo ID to cast a vote tells you everything you need to know about the hypocrisy of politicians fighting against commonsense legislation like the SAVE Act. What is more important to safeguard—bottles or ballots?”

Both of Connecticut’s senators voted against the SAVE America Act.
