Coalition of 19 GOP AGs Launch Investigation Into ActBlue Over Money Laundering Allegations

Acoalition of 19 Republican state attorneys general have launched a criminal investigation into the Democrat fundraising platform ActBlue over allegations of money laundering.

As American Greatness reported in April, multiple independent investigative journalists, including O’Keefe Media Group (OMG) and Election Watch have uncovered what appears to be illegal activity involving millions of dollars in campaign donations to Act Blue that have been laundered through unwitting small donors.

The process of breaking up large donations and submitting them under the names of small donors to cover up illegal contributions has been dubbed “smurfing.” Suspicions that ActBlue routinely engages in this type of illicit fundraising have dogged the outfit since at least Joe Biden’s presidential campaign in 2020.

The Committee on House Administration, chaired by Congressman Bryan Steil (R-Wisc.), launched an investigation into Act Blue in November of 2023 to look into reports that the fundraising giant was skirting campaign donation laws and allowing rampant fraud on the site. The committee widened its probe in August 2024.

In a letter sent to top officials on the Federal Election Commission (FEC) on August 5, Steil urged them to “immediately initiate an emergency rulemaking to require political campaigns to verify the card verification value (‘CVV’) of donors who contribute online using a credit or debit card, and to prohibit political campaigns from accepting online contributions from a gift card or other prepaid credit cards.”

In September, Steil sent letters to five states, urging them to launch criminal investigations into ActBlue’s alleged illicit activities, citing three specific areas of concern:
– Donations significantly disproportionate to an individual’s net worth or previous giving history.
– Uncharacteristic donations from party-affiliated registered voters suddenly contributing to candidates of the opposing party.
– Unusually frequent donations from elderly individuals or first-time donors.

The number of GOP AGs involved in the effort has since swelled to 19.

Detransitioners Booted From American Academy of Pediatrics Conference

A conference hosted by the largest professional association of pediatricians in the United States kicked out a group of detransitioners who sought to share their perspectives with doctors, The Daily Wire has learned.

Detransitioners are individuals who attempted the impossible — to change their gender through hormonal or surgical transgender interventions — before stopping treatments and living as their biological sex. They are largely ignored in the mainstream media and dismissed by medical organizations. But many detransitioned individuals have taken their stories to social media and grown large followings as they spread awareness about the dangers of so-called “gender-affirming care.”

The American Academy of Pediatrics voted in 2023 to reaffirm its 2018 policy statement promoting so-called “gender-affirming care” and authorizing the development of guidance for pediatricians based on a “systematic review of the evidence.” AAP CEO Mark Del Monte promised at the time that AAP will continue to “ensure young people get the reproductive and gender-affirming care they need and are seen, heard and valued as they are.”

Members of the Alliance for Mental Health, a coalition of groups advocating for mental health over medical treatments for gender confusion, attended the American Academy of Pediatrics conference this weekend in Orlando, Florida. Detransitioners Chloe Cole, Abel Garcia, Soren Aldaco, and Nicholas Flowers were present, along with activists Erin Friday and January Littlejohn.

The group spent over $25,000 on a booth where they could easily access attendees, Friday shared with The Daily Wire. Their goal was to communicate with the doctors who were traveling from around the world to attend the conference. And they were successful, Garcia told The Daily Wire, until they were booted from the conference on Monday morning, their third day at the conference.

Video footage shared with The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh shows a security guard claiming that one of the individuals had violated “the code of contact last year.” The guard tells them they need to “leave the event immediately” and return their name badges, giving them about five minutes to disassemble their booth.

While the government tries to impose deregulation of biotechnology in New Zealand, corporate media once again publicises that covid did not come from a lab

In 2012, Dr. Anthony Fauci argued for the benefits of gain-of-function research, despite potential risks to public health.

Scientists at the University of Wisconsin and Erasmus University Medical Centre engineered H1N5 avian influenza (bird flu) to pass between mammals, with Dr. Fauci’s support.

The biotechnology field was largely unregulated in the US, guided only by voluntary arrangements. And it’s not only bird flu that has been engineered using gain-of-function.  The covid virus was also made in a laboratory.

A couple of weeks ago, a second attempt to bamboozle the public into believing the covid virus came from an animal source was launched.  A study led by Kristian Andersen suggested covid came from the Wuhan Wet Market.  Andersen was also involved in the now discredited early attempts to dismiss the lab leak theory while also applying for an $8.9 million grant from NIH awaiting approval on Dr. Fauci’s desk.

Currently, there’s a “debate” in New Zealand about biotechnology deregulation, with a one-sided portrayal in corporate media.  Conveniently, New Zealand’s corporate media yet again spreading misinformation about the origins of covid, based on Anderson’s study, creates the wrong impressions about the safety of biotechnology deregulation.

A Florida Judge Blocked a Newspaper from Publishing Video of a Jail Death

A Florida newspaper reports that video of a mentally ill man’s violent death in a county jail contradicts the sheriff office’s narrative of what happened. But the public may never get to see what really happened.

Florida Circuit Judge James R. Baxley ruled last month that the Ocala Gazette could view, but not publish, jailhouse footage of the 2022 death of Scott Whitley, a mentally ill man who died in the Marion County Jail after deputies pepper-sprayed, dogpiled, and tased him. Publishing the footage, Baxley ruled, would raise safety concerns.

The Gazette reported on September 25, after finally being able to view the footage, that Whitley “exhibited no physical violence toward Marion County Jail detention deputies before he was rushed to the floor, restrained and hit with a Taser 27 times over 12 minutes.” Furthermore, “Contrary to initial reports from the sheriff’s office that claimed Whitley refused to comply with guards’ orders, the footage shows the inmate sitting as ordered and, when he sees the guards rush towards him, he raises his hands in defense and pleads ‘no’ and ‘wait’—to no avail.”

The order is the latest development in a two-years-and-running transparency fight over records related to Whitley’s death.

Whitley, 46, was booked into the Marion County Jail on November 16, 2022, on charges of resisting an officer with violence and violating a protective order filed by his elderly parents to remove him from their home because of his deteriorating mental health. He had been diagnosed with schizophrenia and was placed on suicide watch in the jail. According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), he was combative during his arrest and continued to be uncooperative and aggressive at the jail.

On November 25, Whitley refused to put his hands through his cell to be handcuffed during a routine cell inspection. Guards sprayed him with pepper foam, and after a few minutes they ordered Whitley to sit on the toilet. When he did, deputies rushed his cell and forced him to the ground.

Covid Tyrants Partied While Demanding Lockdowns for Everyone Else

Remember when government officials sanctioned orgies but insisted it was too risky to permit children to attend classes to learn how to read?

During the pandemic, New York City Covid Czar Jay Varma championed endless government restrictions and lockdowns to keep people safe. But, at the same time, he attended sex parties and a dance party, indulgences that made a mockery of everything he preached to New Yorkers.

His hypocrisy was exposed this week by undercover recordings made by conservative podcaster Steven Crowder. Varma declared on Thursday: “I take responsibility for not using the best judgment at the time.”

That statement is a great consolation to everyone whose rights and liberties were nullified during the pandemic. In the undercover recordings, Varma bragged about brutalizing people into submission:

  • “I’m gonna make it really fu*king hard to be unvaccinated.”
  • “I actually was the one who convinced the Mayor to make it a mandate[vaccine].”
  • “You can’t get a job, you can’t go to a restaurant, your kids can’t go to school…it’s like fu*k it, I’m just going to get vaccinated.”

Varma’s takedown should spur a re-examination of how idiotic and oppressive governments became during the pandemic. Politicians and petty czars canceled Thanksgivings and other holidays across the nation. In lieu of family gatherings, they offered endless idiotic advice for “safe sex” during Covid.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo denounced anyone who disobeyed his edicts, including condemning sheriffs as “dictators” for refusing to enforce his mask mandate inside people’s homes. But other officials in New York give their blessings to behavior which was reckless even by “woke” standards. The New York City Health Department recommended that people who organize orgies, “If you do attend (sex orgies), follow COVID-19 precautions. ” The guidance hinted that nothing was better than a rooftop: “Pick larger, more open, and well-ventilated spaces.”

Dr. Demetre Daskalakis, New York City’s deputy health commissioner, boasted, “Our health department has a really strong record of being very sex positive.” At the same time that New York cops violently assaulted people for not wearing face masks, the city government officially sanctioned “glory holes.” The Big Apple’s health department urged people to “be creative with… physical barriers, like walls, that allow sexual contact while preventing close face-to-face contact.” That salacious advice was not included in Gov. Cuomo’s self-tribute bestseller, American Crisis: Leadership Lessons from the COVID-19 Pandemic

Instead of meeting sex partners online, city Health Department recommended, “Video dates, sexting, subscription-based fan platforms, sexy ‘Zoom parties’ or chat rooms may be options for you.” So maybe invite Jeffrey Toobin to your Zoom party? (Toobin was fired after masturbating during a New Yorker Zoom call.) Many of the “chat rooms” that bureaucrats recommended were stocked with jailbait, police and FBI agents masquerading and looking to entrap people for underage sex or other offenses. Maybe someone should ask Jeff Bezos about the alleged emailed pictures of his anatomy?

Is FEMA Now Weaponized? Biden Ignores The South’s Agony After Hurricane

Hurricane Helene shellac’s the Southeast, where is FEMA and where were the warnings?

Nothing in the Federal Government appears to be working. Hurricane Helene has hit several Southeast states very hard. Unanticipated floods are everywhere and thousands are missing. Social media is the best way to learn what is going on and who needs help where.

This begs the question of where is the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)? Their national Emergency Operations Center is close to L’Enfant Plaza in Washington, D.C. Was it staffed up? Did it give the proper alerts? Was this Hurricane not a priority since it was hitting Red States?

With the Harris Team, no insidious action is off the table. (ColonelRetJohn Substack)

Biden-Harris Regime Accused of Exploiting $5 Billion Medicare Fund to Manipulate Election Outcomes

In yet another blatant attempt to secure votes ahead of the 2024 election, the Biden-Harris regime has found itself embroiled in a massive $5 billion Medicare scandal.

The administration’s $5 billion Medicare stabilization program, announced by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in July 2024, is part of a three-year demonstration project intended to keep premiums lower for seniors.

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) has sent an urgent letter to the Department of Justice (DOJ), calling for an investigation into whether the move violates the Hatch Act, which forbids the use of taxpayer funds to influence elections.

“We write to you today seeking additional information on the Biden-Harris Administration’s plan to spend over $5 billion in taxpayer-funded subsidies to insurers to offset Medicare premium increases before the November election,” Sen. Paul wrote to Corey Amundson, the Chief of the Public Integrity Section at the DOJ.

“My colleagues and I are concerned that the Biden-Harris Administration is inappropriately using taxpayer funds to mask the defective Medicare Part D policies enacted as part of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) of 2022. Given the IRA’s central role in the Biden-Harris Administration’s presidential campaign, these concerns warrant additional investigation.”

It’s no secret that Medicare premiums have skyrocketed, thanks in large part to the IRA’s rushed and poorly designed reforms. In fact, Medicare premiums surged by a staggering 21% in 2023 alone, leaving seniors struggling to afford their prescriptions.

Now, with premiums expected to rise even higher in 2024, the Biden administration’s convenient “solution” has arrived just in time for election season—a move that Paul says smacks of political interference.

The Kentucky senator’s letter goes on to highlight the dubious legality of the administration’s actions.

Sheriffs in Arizona Counties Refuse to Enforce State Law Making it a Crime for Migrants to Illegally Cross into the U.S. if Passed

Arizona sheriffs are causing a political firestorm by refusing to enforce a proposed state law that would criminalize illegal crossings at the Arizona-Mexico border.

Proposition 314, set to appear on November’s ballot, seeks to empower local authorities to arrest and prosecute migrants who enter the U.S. illegally.

According to the Arizona legislature’s website:

Proposition 314 would establish criminal penalties against a person who is not lawfully present in the United States and who submits false documentation when both applying for public benefits and during the employment eligibility verification process. An entity that accepts public benefits applications would have to verify the person’s identity by using a federal verification database.

Proposition 314 would make it a class 2 felony for a person to knowingly sell fentanyl if the person knows that the drug being sold contains fentanyl, that the fentanyl was not lawfully manufactured or imported into the United States and that the drug caused the death of another person.

Proposition 314 would establish state crimes related to entering this state from a location that is not a lawful port of entry or not complying with an order to leave this state.

These sheriffs, who oversee counties along Arizona’s southern border, are citing everything from “budgetary concerns” to accusations of “racism” as reasons for not enforcing the new law.

Fauci’s Inner Circle Shielded U.S. Collaborator

The Wuhan Institute of Virology’s chief American collaborator leveraged connections in Anthony Fauci’s inner circle to survive federal scrutiny and keep millions in public funding flowing without turning over key data, new records show.

Hundreds of documents — emails obtained under Freedom of Information Act lawsuits or Congressional subpoena, as well as Congressional interview transcripts — show Fauci’s institute protected EcoHealth Alliance, which collaborated on novel coronavirus discovery and engineering projects with the Wuhan lab.

At a congressional hearing this summer, Fauci cast EcoHealth and its president Peter Daszak — who are currently under proposed debarment by the federal government — as minor and rogue grantees.

But EcoHealth was among the first grantees that Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases contacted as news of a novel coronavirus first swirled, and Daszak requested supplemental funds to respond to the crisis. In early February 2020, when NIAID began conducting weekly calls with a few experts about the novel coronavirus, Daszak was among the invitees. And at the height of pandemic confusion and controversy in the summer of 2020, EcoHealth maintained the goodwill of NIAID, which awarded EcoHealth two new grants totaling $19.8 million, weakening the leverage of other officials to obtain information from one of the US government’s only sources of insight into the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Fauci “asked how Peter is doing, as he often does, and he seemed to commiserate with him to a degree,” Fauci’s senior scientific advisor David Morens wrote in apparent reference to Daszak on Nov. 18, 2021

At the time, officials at the National Institutes of Health’s central headquarters or “Building One” — at the demand of the Trump White House — had suspended EcoHealth’s existing NIAID grant and sought lab notebooks and unpublished genomic data as a condition of getting its funding back. This information could have shed light on the coronavirus research in Wuhan before the pandemic.

But aided by allies within NIAID, millions continued to flow to EcoHealth, and Daszak would not ask his longtime collaborators in Wuhan for information sought by the US government until 20 months later, in January 2022 — two years after the pandemic began.

Dems Introduce Bill To Pack the Supreme Court

A new bill introduced by Democrat Senator Ron Wyden would add six more justices to the Supreme Court and introduce a raft of measures designed to make the Court work in the Democrats’ favour.

As well as increasing the Supreme Court’s size, the bill would make it harder for justices to overturn laws, require them to undergo audits and remove roadblocks to nominations.

The size of the court would be increased from nine to 15 over a period of 12 years.

The bill would also require a two-thirds ruling by the Supreme Court and the circuit court of appeals in order to overturn a law, and make it impossible for Senators to delay votes on new appointments. Mitch McConnell was able to delay Barack Obama’s appointment of Merrick Garland in 2016, allowing Trump to replace him with Neil Gorsuch.

As The Washington Post reports, the bill would introduce stringent auditing measures for justices:

“Supreme Court justices must report income, dividends, property sales and gifts, among other things, but the bill would bolster financial checks, disclosures and other transparency measures. It would require the IRS to initiate an audit of the justices’ tax returns each year, release the results and make the tax filings public. Nominees to the court would have to disclose three years of tax returns.”

Justices would be able to force other justices to recuse themselves from cases, with a two-thirds majority.

The bill’s author, Senator Ron Wyden, who chairs the Senate Finance Committee, said he doesn’t believe the bill will pass in full, but he hopes to get parts of the bill into law.

Reaction to news of the bill was fierce on the right.
