CNN’s Hack Abby Phillip Forced to Issue Humiliating On-Air Correction After FALSELY Claiming Islamist Terror Attack in NYC Targeted Socialist Mayor Mamdani

Far-left host Abby Phillip was caught red-handed spreading a massive lie this week, forced into a humiliating on-air correction after she shamelessly lied about an Islamist terror attack in New York City.

In a desperate attempt to smear House Republicans, Phillip claimed that an ISIS-linked bombing was targeted at NYC’s socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, the chaos unfolded on Saturday when 18-year-old Amir Balat and 19-year-old Ibrahim Nick, launched homemade bombs during an anti-Islam protest organized by former January 6 political prisoner Jake Lang, who was pardoned by President Trump last year.

According to the New York Post, authorities said the homemade device was constructed using sports drink bottles packed with triacetone triperoxide (TATP)—a highly unstable explosive widely favored by terrorists and often referred to as the “Mother of Satan.”

Federal authorities are digging deeper, revealing that these aren’t just misguided kids; they’re part of a broader network with alarming links to foreign radicals.

Following the attack, Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) responded with an extremely provocative comment that infuriated the left: Muslims do not belong in the United States.

“Muslims don’t belong in American society,” Ogles wrote on X. “Pluralism is a lie.”

Far-Left CNN Hack Abby Phillip Panics After Going Viral for Spewing This MASSIVE Lie Regarding the NYC Islamist Terror Attack

CNN’s leftist host Abby Phillip sparked national outrage last night after uttering a huge lie about last weekend’s terror attack in New York City before trying to backtrack in a panic.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, two male Islamist terrorists linked to ISIS threw a homemade bomb in an attempt to kill protesters at an anti-Islam rally outside Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s official residence on Saturday. The bomb was laced with metal and powerful explosives, according to the New York Times.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.

One of the men screamed “Allahu Akbar!” while getting arrested.

Following the attack, Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) responded with an extremely provocative comment that infuriated the left: Muslims do not belong in the United States.

“Muslims don’t belong in American society,” Ogles wrote on X. “Pluralism is a lie.”

This remark came less than one month after Rep. Randy Fine (R-FL) set the Internet on fire with his comments toward a Muslim leftist who called for banning dogs as indoor pets.

“If they force us to choose, the choice between dogs and Muslims is not a difficult one,” Fine wrote.

Phillip seemingly saw an opportunity to smear Fine and Ogles while insinuating they were partly to blame for the terror attack. And she did so by outright lying about Muslim NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani being the target.

“Two Republicans say Muslims don’t belong here after an attempted terror attack on New York City’s mayor, Zohran Mamdani. And the House Speaker, Mike Johnson, says nothing to really condemn these comments,” Phillip fibbed.

CNN Edits Shameful Post Framing Suspected ISIS Inspired Terrorists as ‘Pennsylvania Teenagers Enjoying a Day in NYC’ After Backlash

CNN edited a shameful social media post that framed two suspected ISIS-inspired terrorists as throwing a homemade bomb in an attempt to kill protesters at an anti-Islam rally, as a couple of Pennsylvania teenagers who were out to enjoy an unseasonably warm day.

The Gateway Pundit reported that on Saturday, two male Islamist terrorists threw a homemade bomb in an attempt to kill protesters at an anti-Islam rally outside Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s official residence. The bomb was laced with metal and powerful explosives, according to the New York Times.

One of the men screamed “Allahu Akbar!” while getting arrested.

NYPD outlined what terror suspects said about their alleged ISIS inspiration after being arrested following the failed attack.

“Kayumi said in recorded, post-arrest statements that he had watched ISIS propaganda on his phone and his actions that day were partly inspired by ISIS.”

“Balat made spontaneous statements without being questioned by NYPD officers… He said, ‘This isn’t a religion that just stands when people talk about the blessed name of the prophet. We take action. We take action.’”

“As well as, ‘If I didn’t do it, someone else will come and do it.’”

“After waiving his rights, he requested paper and wrote a message declaring in part, ‘I pledge my allegiance to the Islamic State, die in your rage, you Kufar’… ‘Kufar’ is an Arabic term that refers to non-believers.”

CNN Contributor Shows Our Media Has Nothing but Contempt for Angel Families

One of the recurring themes of President Trump’s Angel Families remembrance ceremony yesterday was how the Democrats and their media allies have ignored Angel Families and their plight for years.

White House Director of Communications and Assistant to the President Steven Cheung blasted the media yesterday for not covering the heartbreaking statements of the Americans who lost loved ones to criminal illegal aliens, calling it “sickening and horrific.”

Cheung specifically called out CNN and MS NOW for refusing to broadcast the ceremony.

But CNN took it a step further and treated these Angel Families with pure, unadulterated contempt.

“I think what…we’re actually getting a little preview of kind of the theme of his address later today at the White House when he hosts the so-called Angel Moms, so really focusing on immigration as he kicks off his big State of the Union week,” said Seung Ming Kim on CNN.

CNN Finally Admits the Truth About Democrat-Run Cities

CNN’s Fareed Zakaria went off-script this week — at least by his network’s standards — and said the quiet part out loud: Democrat-run cities are a mess, and the politicians in charge either can’t or won’t do anything about it.

Of course, this isn’t news to you, but for a CNN host to admit this is a big deal.

Zakaria opened with Zohran Mamdani’s New York, calling it “a prime example of a problem Democrats seem unwilling to confront.” That’s a pretty remarkable admission from a CNN host, but I assure you, he was just getting started.

“Blue cities are out of control,” he said, “promising more, spending more, delivering less, and pushing off the fiscal problems to some future day.”

He then turned to Los Angeles, and the numbers he cited are staggering. Zakaria noted that the city’s homelessness budget for fiscal year 2025-2026 alone totals roughly $950 million. Not the cumulative total over several years. One year. And what has all that money bought? He explained that the LA Homelessness Services Authority reported that homelessness increased by 9% countywide and 10% within the city in 2023. A 2024 AP account found that homelessness had surged by 70% countywide since 2015 and by 80% within the city.

“All this amid public frustration, despite billions spent,” Zakaria said.

Then came perhaps the most damning detail. An audit reviewed $2.4 billion in city homelessness funding and found that “officials could not reliably track where it went or what it achieved.” That’s right. $2.4 billion has just disappeared into the bureaucratic ether.

To make matters worse, not only are there never results, but there’s never any accountability either, at least not for the people running the city.

Supreme Court Orders CNN to Respond

We have a MAJOR DEVELOPMENT in our landmark case against CNN at the United States Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court has just ordered CNN to file a formal response to our petition – the petition we filed to hold CNN and the mainstream media accountable for spreading falsehoods during President Donald Trump’s Senate impeachment trial, when they twisted and manipulated what a member of the president’s legal team actually argued. I know because I was there on the floor of the Senate when it happened.

When we filed our petition for writ of certiorari in this critical defamation case, CNN appeared to think it could simply ignore it. That’s a common tactic. If a party believes the Court isn’t likely to take a case, they can waive their response and hope the Justices quietly deny review.

That’s exactly what CNN tried to do.

Their strategy seemed simple: Don’t engage. Don’t draw attention to it. Let it die quietly.

But the Supreme Court didn’t let that happen. Instead, the Court stepped in and ordered CNN to respond – in writing.

That matters.

It doesn’t guarantee the Court will ultimately take the case. But it does signal that at least some of the Justices believe this issue deserves serious consideration.

And it should.

Even CNN Can’t Ignore the Problems With Canada’s ‘Buyback’

The Liberal government in Canada is continuing its nationwide gun “buyback” of banned firearms, though we haven’t heard many Liberal politicians touting its success as of late.

Instead, most of the recent headlines about the compensated confiscation effort have centered around localities refusing to participate. Most recently, the police department in Kingston, Ontario declared it won’t be involved in the federal effort, citing “concerns related to the program’s design, implementation, and potential impacts on local policing resources and public safety priorities,” identified by both the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police and the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police.

The “buyback” is off to such a rough start that even CNN is reporting on the criticism, though its report studiously avoids calling the effort a failure.

In January, Canada began implementing one of those reforms: a long-awaited, hotly debated program to compensate the country’s gun owners for their now-banned firearms. Yet the buyback program has suffered yearslong delays and pushback from police, provincial officials and gun owners.

In September, audio emerged of Canada’s Minister of Public Safety Gary Anandasangaree, the official responsible for implementing the legislation, questioning the ability of police departments to enforce the buyback. Anandasangaree later said the recording was made without his knowledge, and said the comments were “misguided.”

Complicating the buyback is the fact that Canada has plenty of guns, more than the program alone can collect. The federal government estimates that it has the funds to buy 136,000 firearms, but Canada has roughly 2 million registered and 10 million unregistered guns, according to a 2017 release from the Small Arms Survey, an independent research group based in Switzerland.

Now, not all of those firearms have been banned by the Canadian government, at least not yet. But it is fair to say that the Liberals have been targeting the country’s legal gun owners, while the vast majority the country’s gun-involved crime is committed by individuals who’ve acquired their guns through illicit means. I doubt many violent offenders, gang members, and drug dealers are going to participate in the compensated confiscation efforts.

A number of provinces have declined to participate as well, though the Liberal government is still talking tough about collecting firearms in those locations.

CNN Confronts Chuck Schumer on Voter ID

CNN pressed Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) over his opposition to the SAVE Act and voter ID laws, noting that a clear majority of Americans support such measures. Schumer, however, maintained his position, arguing that the legislation amounts to “Jim Crow 2.0” and warning that millions of Americans could lose access to the ballot box if the SAVE Act were enacted.

“About 83 percent of the American people, including majority Democrats, support voter ID laws,” CNN’s Jake Tapper said.

“The voter ID laws that…first, each state can have its own voter ID laws, and some do, and some don’t,” the Senate Minority Leader said. “But secondly, what they are proposing in this so-called SAVE Act is like Jim Crow 2.0. They make it so hard to get any kind of voter ID that more than 20 million legitimate people, mainly poorer people and people of color, will not be able to vote under this law.”

The SAVE Act (Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act) would overhaul federal voter registration by making proof of U.S. citizenship a requirement to vote, and by forcing states to run ongoing checks to remove illegal immigrants from voter rolls. The documentation requirements are standard, including options like a U.S. passport, U.S. birth certificate, and Certificates of Citizenship or Naturalization. However, Democrats have argued that some American citizens don’t have easy access to those documents, sidelining millions of American voters.

“We will not let it pass in the Senate,” he added. “We are fighting it tooth and nail. It’s an outrageous proposal that shows the sort of political bias of the MAGA right. They don’t want poor people to vote. They don’t want people of color to vote because they often don’t vote for them.”

CNN Admits the Vast Majority of Americans, Including Democrats and Black Americans Support Voter ID Laws

CNN analysts were forced to admit that, even according to their own polling, the issue of voter ID laws is not controversial and is supported by well over 75 percent of Americans.

“Photo ID to vote, and the American people are with NickiMinaj. Because what are we talking about here. Take a look here, favor voter ID to vote. Look, I’ve got all this polling here going back since 2018 you’ll notice on all of it, its all north of 75 percent,” CNN’s Harry Enten said. “Seventy-six percent, 76 percent, 76 percent, 81 percent, and then 83 percent in the last year of Americans agree with Nicki Minaj, they favor photo ID to be able to vote.”

“What about by party, what’s the party breakdown?” the CNN host asked.

“Yeah. Normally, you might expect, hey, there’d be a big divide by party, with Republicans really for it and Democrats really against it. But not really here. I mean, just take a look here, favor voter ID to vote, you got 95 percent of Republicans, pretty much all of them, but even 71 percent of Democrats favor photo ID to vote,” Enten continued.

“So again, Nicki Minaj posting that on X. And what you see is that the American people, actually, it’s not really all that controversial. The American people are with Nicki Minaj, whether they are Republicans or even if they are Democrats. We’re talking about 7 in 10 Democrats agreeing with Nicki Minaj that you, in fact, should show a voter photo ID to vote.”

Former CNN Anchor Don Lemon Arrested

Former CNN anchor Don Lemon has been arrested, Newsmax’s James Rosen and a Justice Department official familiar with the matter confirmed Friday.

CBS News also reported the arrest, citing sources.

Lemon livestreamed a demonstration that interrupted a church service in St. Paul, Minnesota, earlier this month that protested President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown in the area.

Lemon’s lawyer, Abbe Lowell, called his arrest an “unprecedented attack on the First Amendment.”

Lemon said he was at the demonstration as a journalist. He said he was tipped off ahead of time but did not know the activists would disrupt the service.

He can be seen arguing with a parishioner about immigration enforcement. Trump administration officials quickly condemned the demonstration and accused protesters of intimidating Christian worshippers.

It was not immediately clear what charge or charges Lemon was facing in the Jan. 18 protest. The arrest came after a magistrate judge last week rejected prosecutors’ initial bid to charge the journalist.
