95% of Measles Cases Classified as ‘Unvaccinated or Unknown,’ Obscuring Actual Vaccination Status: CDC Data

New data published last week by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) show that 95% of U.S. measles cases in 2026 are classified as “Unvaccinated or Unknown.”

However, the agency’s own table makes clear that this figure does not mean 95% of cases occurred in confirmed unvaccinated individuals.

Instead, the CDC combines two fundamentally different categories—“unvaccinated” and “vaccination status unknown”—into a single percentage, preventing the public from knowing how many cases actually involved confirmed unvaccinated people.

The CDC does not disclose how much of the 95% figure represents:

  • individuals confirmed to be unvaccinated, versus
  • individuals whose vaccination records were unavailable, missing, or not verified

As a result, the public cannot determine whether most measles cases occurred in unvaccinated individuals or simply in individuals whose vaccination status was never established.

BUSTED: California Ordered to Return $1+ BILLION After Dr. Oz–Led Audit Exposes Federal Healthcare Funds Spent on Illegal Immigrants

The Trump administration has dropped the hammer on California and a coalition of deep-blue states after a sweeping federal audit uncovered more than $1.3 billion in misused federal healthcare funds spent on non-emergency medical care for illegal immigrants, a clear violation of federal law.

According to a bombshell report highlighted on Fox News, the administration’s aggressive audits, led by Administrator for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Dr. Mehmet Oz, found that seven states and Washington, D.C., improperly billed the federal government for healthcare services that go far beyond what is legally permitted.

Under federal law, states may only use federal Medicaid funds to cover emergency medical services for illegal immigrants. Routine care, elective procedures, and non-emergency treatments must be paid for by the states themselves.

That did not happen.

Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California Bill Essayli wrote on X, “California must return more than $1 billion to the federal government after an audit by Dr. Oz and his team uncovered federal dollars being spent on healthcare for illegal immigrants. We are teaming up to combat healthcare fraud so the money can be used for American citizens who need it!”

Federal auditors identified nearly $1.4 billion owed back to U.S. taxpayers, with California alone accounting for the overwhelming majority:

  • California: ~$1.3 billion
  • New York: ~$30.7 million
  • Illinois: ~$29.8 million
  • Minnesota: ~$12.7 million
  • Oregon: ~$5.4 million
  • Washington: ~$2.3 million
  • Washington, D.C.: ~$2.1 million
  • Colorado: ~$1.5 million
  • TOTAL: ~$1.394 billion

These funds were billed to the federal government for routine medical care, not emergencies, an explicit violation of Medicaid rules.

California officials predictably denied wrongdoing, claiming the state “routinely reimburses” the federal government. But the audit findings directly contradict those claims—and the financial damage is already done.

Governor Gavin Newsom has long championed “universal healthcare regardless of immigration status,” proudly expanding taxpayer-funded care to the state’s entire undocumented population.

A Man Bought Meta’s AI Glasses, And Ended Up Wandering The Desert Searching For Aliens To Abduct Him

At age 50, Daniel was “on top of the world.”

“I turned 50, and it was the best year of my life,” he told Futurism in an interview. “It was like I finally figured out so many things: my career, my marriage, my kids, everything.”

It was early 2023, and Daniel — who asked to be identified by only his first name to protect his family’s privacy — and his wife of over three decades were empty nesters, looking ahead to the next chapter of their lives. They were living in an affluent Midwestern suburb, where they’d raised their four children. Daniel was an experienced software architect who held a leadership role at a large financial services company, where he’d worked for more than 20 years. In 2022, he leveraged his family’s finances to realize a passion project: a rustic resort in rural Utah, his favorite place in the world.

“All the kids were out of the house, and it was like, ‘oh my gosh, we’re still young. We’ve got this resort. I’ve got a good job. The best years of our lives are in front of us,” Daniel recounted, sounding melancholy. “It was a wonderful time.”

That all changed after Daniel purchased a pair of AI chatbot-embedded Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses — the AI-infused eyeglasses that Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has made central to his vision for the future of AI and computing — which he says opened the door to a six-month delusional spiral that played out across Meta platforms through extensive interactions with the company’s AI, culminating in him making dangerous journeys into the desert to await alien visitors and believing he was tasked with ushering forth a “new dawn” for humanity.

And though his delusions have since faded, his journey into a Meta AI-powered reality left his life in shambles — deep in debt, reeling from job loss, isolated from his family, and struggling with depression and suicidal thoughts.

“I’ve lost everything,” Daniel, now 52, told Futurism, his voice dripping with fatigue. “Everything.”

In many ways, Daniel was Meta’s target customer. He was an experienced tech worker and AI enthusiast who had worked on machine learning projects in the past and had purchased the Meta glasses because he was intrigued by their AI features.

“I used Meta [AI] because they were integrated with these glasses,” said Daniel. “And I could wear glasses — which I wore all the time — and then I could speak to AI whenever I wanted to. I could talk to my ear.”

Today, however, as he continues to recover from his mental health breakdown, Daniel describes himself as a “shell” of who he “used to be.”

“My kids don’t talk to me because I got weird. They don’t know how to talk to me,” said the father of four. “I was a cook… I played the guitar. I love music. I love learning.”

But now, he says, he’s “just trying to survive day to day.”

According to Daniel and multiple family members, the 52-year-old had no history of mania or psychosis before encountering Meta AI. He’d struggled with alcoholism, but quit drinking in early 2023, months before he purchased the Meta smart glasses.

‘No longer in my hands’: How Hill Republicans stopped caring about DOJ releasing the Epstein files

One month after the congressionally mandated deadline to release all its files on convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, the Justice Department has made only a fraction of the files public — and it remains silent on its plans to fully comply with the law.

Also keeping quiet about the DOJ delays are congressional Republicans, almost all of whom voted in November to release the records after spending months heeding President Donald Trump’s opposition to the move.

Some of them are openly admitting it’s no longer a priority.

“I don’t give a rip about Epstein,” Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) said last week when she was asked to take stock of the month since the Dec. 19 deadline.

“Like, there’s so many other things we need to be working on,” she added. “I’ve done what I had to do for Epstein. Talk to somebody else about that. It’s no longer in my hands.”

Boebert was one of four House Republicans, alongside Thomas Massie of Kentucky, Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia and Nancy Mace of South Carolina, who joined with Democrats to force a House floor vote on the Epstein legislation when leadership resisted moving it.

The White House lobbied these lawmakers heavily to take their names off the discharge petition to compel the bill’s consideration, with administration officials at one point summoning Boebert to the Situation Room for a final plea.

Now Washington’s attention has since shifted to other political firestorms, from Trump’s military action in Venezuela to the shooting of a U.S. citizen by an ICE agent in Minnesota, and congressional Republicans are eager to move on — underscoring the extent to which the GOP remains wary of crossing swords with the president.

The public falling out between Greene and Trump was largely over Greene’s support for releasing the Epstein files — Trump called her a “traitor” — and ultimately culminated in Greene’s resignation from the House earlier this month. Trump vetoed a bill that would have supported a water infrastructure project in Boebert’s district, and administration officials privately warned Mace that her defiance would likely to cost her the president’s endorsement in the South Carolina governor’s race.

Mace has vowed on social media to “keep fighting” for justice for Epstein’s victims but has not otherwise continued the drumbeat against the Justice Department.

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.), who has worked with Democrats on a House Oversight and Government Reform Committee investigation into the Epstein case, said in a recent interview she’s now more more focused on holding Bill and Hillary Clinton in contempt of Congress for not honoring the panel’s subpoena to testify about Epstein.

Minneapolis Police ‘Victim Blame’ Nick Sortor After He is Robbed: Tell Him HE is the Problem and Needs to Leave the Area

The Gateway Pundit reported that independent journalist Nick Sortor was robbed of a $1,000 camera by an apparent Somali woman while filming in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Sunday. Police in Minneapolis responded by telling Sorter HE is the problem and needed to leave.

Sortor shared a video from the incident showing a masked woman ripping the camera out of his hand while he is behind the wheel of his vehicle.

A man then approached him, screaming, “That’s what the f*ck you wanted, right? That’s what the f*ck you wanted, right?”

Sorter jumped out of the car and chased the robber to a waiting vehicle, and they sped off with him holding onto the door handle. He shared that he was then dragged down the street after his hand got stuck in the car’s door handle.

Sortor spoke with the Minneapolis Police, who responded to the robbery by saying, “We have a ton of calls stacked that we have to answer. I don’t have a timeframe for you.”

“My point is, you guys need to not be in this area. I mean, I can’t tell you you have to leave, but if we’re getting calls of you guys harassing people…”

Sortor and his companion clarify that they are driving around, reporting on the situation, noting, “Driving around is not harassing anybody.”

“No one’s being harassed.”

The officer continued, “100% that’s fine, I’m just saying if it rises to that level, because they’re saying you guys are.”

Sortor cut in, “We’re journalists. Some people are trying to intimidate us out of here for doing our First Amendment freedom.”

The officer responded, “I know. But we don’t need this stuff to keep happening. The hostility obviously not going to go away.”

“We just want our stuff back,” Sortor stated.

The police then went through the process of a police report and the steps to an arrest, but added, “But you guys need to do us a favor and stay out of this area.”

Mysterious ‘Dorito-Shaped’ Aircraft Spotted at Night Near Area 51

A nighttime thermal image captured during flight activity involving a B-2 Spirit shows a sharply triangular aircraft that resembles an unexplained platform photographed over Wichita in 2014.

Anders Otteson, the man behind the popular Uncanny Expeditions YouTube channel (that we have featured before here at The Aviationist), spotted something particularly intriguing during his latest trip to the Groom Lake area. While camping along Groom Lake Road and monitoring nighttime flight activity, early on Jan. 14, 2026, Otteson captured thermal imagery of a sharply triangular, “Dorito-shaped” aircraft operating in the restricted airspace surrounding Area 51. “Dorito” is a nickname commonly used by observers to describe an aircraft with a sharply triangular shape.

Otteson is not a casual observer. A videographer, explorer, and content creator, he routinely sets up camp in remote and unlikely locations with the specific goal of documenting activity rarely seen by the public. His epic expeditions into the deserts surrounding Groom Lake and other classified sites combine long nights in the field with thermal imaging equipment, optical sensors, and scanner monitoring, offering a unique perspective on flight activity associated with stealth aircraft and black programs.

However, the latest sighting is even more interesting than usual, as the aircraft he spotted flying at night over Nevada bears a striking resemblance to the now somewhat famous triangular aircraft photographed in daylight over Wichita, Kansas, in 2014, an image that, as our analysis at the time showed, appeared to be legitimate and unaltered.

Five Severed Human Heads Discovered Hanging on Beach in Apparent Drug Cartel Warning

Five severed human heads were discovered hanging from ropes on a beach in Ecuador, according to police.

According to multiple reports, local authorities said the gruesome scene appeared to be linked to ongoing drug-related violence gripping the country.

Ecuadorian media outlets showed the heads suspended from wooden poles placed directly on the beach, CBS News reported.

A wooden sign that was positioned next to the remains contained a written message.

According to The Associated Press, the message was directed at individuals accused of extorting local fishermen.

Officers attributed the incident to a conflict between rival criminal groups operating in the region.

Emails show Fauci, Collins plotting to circumvent ‘impressive’ data for COVID natural immunity

The Biden administration grappled with research suggesting natural immunity was more effective than COVID-19 vaccination shortly before federal vaccine mandates in 2021, admitting the rigor of the massive Israeli study and worrying it might undermine its promotion of one-size-fits-all vaccination, newly released emails show.

The Freedom of Information Act production to Protect the Public’s Trust, shared with the Daily Caller News Foundation, gives the most compelling evidence to date that federal officials knew their pending mandates were scientifically shaky yet repeatedly asserted in public – misrepresenting federal research – that natural immunity couldn’t match vaccine-acquired immunity.

The emails add heft to prior claims by a now-former Food and Drug Administration adviser, going back four years, that the feds ultimately rejected natural immunity as an exemption to vaccine mandates for bureaucratic reasons and kept pushing vaccines on all ages and conditions for the sake of simpler messaging, not science.

They also reaffirm the glaring lack of rigorous research by U.S. institutions on basic questions about SARS-CoV-2 and treatment outcomes, with many of the most important findings coming from abroad. The abnormally high risk of heart inflammation in young people post-vaccination, for example, emerged from Israeli data and institutions.

It’s just “more evidence that the public health bureaucracy was ripe for a thorough housecleaning,” Protect the Public’s Trust Director Michael Chamberlain told DCNF, blasting officials for trying to “bury what didn’t fit their preferred narrative” and Americans’ reliance on “Israeli research for their health information” despite billions in federal funding.

Rep. Jim Clyburn Tells the Ladies of ‘The View’ That Republicans Are Trying to Bring Back Slavery

Democrat Rep. Jim Clyburn of South Carolina appeared on ‘The View’ on Monday and claimed that Republicans are trying to bring back slavery.

This is not only insane and untrue, it’s a complete perversion of history. The Republican Party was founded to end slavery in the United States. Abraham Lincoln was the first Republican president, who fought the Democrats on the issue of slavery, which escalated into the American Civil War.

Democrats do this all the time. In 2012, Joe Biden famously said to a mostly black audience that Republicans want to ‘put y’all back in chains.’

Clyburn knows better than this. They all do.

From Nicholas Fondacaro on Twitter/X:

“Anything that’s happened before can happen again. (…) They were trying to set up a process that will allow this country to return to what it was in 1876 when the election got thrown into the House of Representatives and they were able to overturn what Abraham Lincoln and the Congress had done successfully getting rid of slavery. That is what they’re attempting to do today. I get sick and tired of hearing people say this ‘it’s never been like this before,’ Yes, it has!”

Minnesota and the New Nullification Crisis

The antics of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz have been much in the news of late, but the corporate media has studiously ignored the legal and historical context of his refusal to comply with federal immigration law. Minnesota is just one of 16 Democrat-controlled states that have enacted measures that violate the Constitution’s Supremacy Clause (Article VI, Clause 2), which provides that federal law takes precedence over conflicting laws passed by states. These Democrats are reenacting the nullification crisis that historians regard as a precursor to the Civil War.

These “sanctuary states” include California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington. How precisely are they violating the Supremacy Clause? Article I, Section 8, Clause 4 of the Constitution gives Congress plenary authority over immigration. Congress has passed a variety of laws designed to control which immigrants may legally enter and reside in the U.S. Yet when ICE officials try to enforce these laws, these states interfere, falsely claiming their own immigration statutes somehow take precedence.

Some of these states, including Minnesota, have simply declared themselves sanctuary jurisdictions without bothering to pass a law. The Gopher State did so based on nothing more than an advisory opinion issued by its far left attorney general Keith Ellison: “Minnesota law prohibits state and local law enforcement agencies from holding someone based on an immigration detainer if the person would otherwise be released from custody.” Thus, local authorities release illegal aliens knowing that ICE officers are on their way to arrest them. As Michael R. Davis, President of the Article III Project, writes at Fox News:

Sanctuary states and cities cripple federal law enforcement. Leftist leaders refuse to assist the federal government in enforcing immigration law, including the outrageous refusal to honor federal detainers for illegal immigrants arrested for other crimes. When state jails release illegal immigrants, officials fail to notify ICE. Agents must track fugitives on the streets instead of making safe arrests inside jails, exposing themselves and the public to unnecessary danger. Sanctuary policies shield murderers, pedophiles, drug dealers, and armed robbers from deportation.

In many ways, this is worse than mere nullification. Earlier attempts by states to nullify federal laws have been based on the theory that Congress or federal courts had overstepped their constitutional authority. Indeed, that has been the basis for such challenges going back to the first nullification crisis prior to the Civil War. John C. Calhoun of South Carolina argued that the national government was merely a compact of the states. He believed the states were superior to the federal government and could unilaterally decide whether any particular federal law exceeded the authority that had been delegated to the national government.
