John Ioannidis Warned COVID-19 Could Be a “Once-In-A-Century” Data Fiasco. He Was Right

On Thursday, a Florida health official told a local news station that a young man who was listed as a COVID-19 victim had no underlying conditions.

The answer surprised reporters, who probed for additional information.

“He died in a motorcycle accident,” Dr. Raul Pino clarified. “You could actually argue that it could have been the COVID-19 that caused him to crash. I don’t know the conclusion of that one.”

The anecdote is a ridiculous example of a real controversy that has inspired some colorful memes: what should define a COVID-19 death?

While the question is important, such incidents may be just the tip of the proverbial iceberg regarding the unreliability of COVID-19 data.

Facebook’s Neutral “Fact Checkers” Exposed As Ex-CNN Staffers And Democratic Donors

Today in news about the radical left-wing censorship machines our social media companies have become, it was exposed this week that Facebook’s fact-checker, Lead Stories, is an outfit that is stocked to the brim with ex-CNN staffers.

The organization presents itself as neutral yet “most of its employees” have donated to the Democratic party, according to RT.  

The National Pulse reached out to Facebook’s fact checkers this week after a story they published about Black Lives Matter was flagged as “partly false” by the platform. This led TNP to “do some digging” on who was behind the smear. 

What they found was stunning: an organization “staffed almost entirely by Democratic donors, half of whom had worked for CNN in the past.”

Chad Daybell, Charged in Hiding Bodies of 2 Children, Allegedly Thought The World Would End Today

Today—July 22, 2020—is the day Idaho criminal defendant Chad Daybell allegedly believed the world would end.

Daybell is charged for allegedly hiding the bodies of his new wife’s young son and daughter: Joshua “JJ” Vallow and Tylee Ryan. The victims went missing last September and were discovered last month on Daybell’s property. It is unclear if the kids even lived long enough to technically become his stepchildren. Daybell married co-defendant Lori Daybell in Hawaii on November 5, police say.

Authorities said that Joshua was last seen Sept. 23. Tylee had been missing for even longer: Sept 8., the day of a family trip to Yellowstone National Park. Alex Cox, Lori Daybell’s brother, joined them on this visit. This uncle had shot and killed his sister’s previous husband Charles Vallow on July 11, 2019, back when the family lived in Arizona. He claimed self defense. No charges have been filed in the death, though cops have been looking into it.

Cox died in December from what Maricopa County, Ariz. officials said was a blood clot. Now, Idaho authorities say he was a co-conspirator “to commit the crime of concealing and destroying/altering evidence they knew would be produced, used, or discovered as evidence in trial, proceeding, inquiry or investigation involving felony.”

To date, no one has been charged with actually causing the deaths of Joshua Vallow and Tylee Ryan.
