Biden Asks “What’s The Big Deal?” About Vaccine Mandates; Says It’s “Patriotic” To Take COVID Jabs

When asked about three U.S. courts blocking federal vaccine mandates recently, Joe Biden declared that the country is experiencing “a pandemic of the unvaccinated,” adding that it is “patriotic” to take COVID shots, and stating that he doesn’t understand what the “big deal” is with people not wanting their freedoms imposed upon.

WHIOTV 7 reporter John Bedell told Biden “Your vaccine mandates have suffered some setbacks in court recently,” adding “Federal judges have halted three of those COVID vaccine mandates.”

“Are you going to back down or are you going to continue to fight those in court?” Bedell further asked.

“This is a pandemic of the unvaccinated. Not the vaccinated, the unvaccinated. That’s the problem,” Biden responded.

He further proclaimed “Everybody talks about freedom about not to have a shot or have a test. Well guess what? How about patriotism? How about you make sure you’re vaccinated, so you do not spread the disease to anyone else.”

“What about that?” Biden continued, adding “What’s the big deal?”

Inside the hypocrisy of media manipulators, censors who claim to fight misinformation

There is a new scourge befouling the media landscape, one that our self-appointed mandarins have declared themselves eager to combat: misinformation.

The Aspen Institute’s Commission on Information Disorder recently released a report that blamed misinformation for a range of social problems: “Information disorder is a crisis that exacerbates all other crises … Information disorder makes any health crisis more deadly. It slows down our response time on climate change. It undermines democracy. It creates a culture in which racist, ethnic, and gender attacks are seen as solutions, not problems. Today, mis- and disinformation have become a force multiplier for exacerbating our worst problems as a society. Hundreds of millions of people pay the price, every single day, for a world disordered by lies.”

With $65 million in backing from investors such as George Soros and Reid Hoffman, the newly organized Project for Good Information also vows to fight fake news wherever it roams. As Recode reported, the group’s marketing materials claim, “Traditional media is failing. Disinformation is flourishing. It’s time for a new kind of media.” The project is run by Democratic operative Tara Hoffman, whose company ACRONYM created the app that spectacularly bungled the Iowa Democratic caucus vote in 2020.

And as Ben Smith reported in the New York Times, the Shorenstein Center at Harvard University has been hosting a series of meetings with major media executives to “help newsroom leaders fight misinformation and media manipulation.” Even Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has apologized for his platform’s role in spreading misinformation.

Biden calls for new gun controls, calls US an embarrassment

Biden said as a nation, the U.S. owes action to the families of those affected by gun violence. Biden then said that, since the start of his administration, he has tried to act by “curbing the proliferation of ghost guns, cracking down on rogue gun dealers, promoting safe firearm storage.” Biden also said the American Rescue Plan legislation included funding for states and cities to spend on reducing gun violence.

Biden also said his budget calls for doubling funding for gun violence prevention research, including by treating gun violence as a public health threat.

Biden then called on the Senate to pass three bills he said would help reduce gun violence.

Mainstream media moves against “misinformation” in email

The boundary corporate media want to establish for what they think should be policed and censored as political “misinformation” keeps expanding.

The new “frontier” that seems to be shaping up, if narratives pushed by the likes of the New York Times are to be taken into account, are people’s email communications.

Unlike the politicians’ speech on public platforms like social media and TV broadcasters, that is tightly controlled and often censored by various fact-checkers hired by Big Tech, the medium of email remains elusive, the newspaper laments, even though it is a powerful way to reach constituents.

Mentioning several examples of fund-raising emails that the NYT said contained false information regarding benefits enjoyed by illegal migrants, and Medicare, abortion, etc., the article’s author goes on to qualify email as a tool “teeming” with misinformation.

Suburban New York cop among half-dozen charged in sex-trafficking of underage girls from Mexico

A suburban police officer and five Queens residents were charged Tuesday with luring underage Mexican girls to New York and forcing them into prostitution, with the corrupt cop accused of accepting sex from the victims as payment for his work as a law enforcement mole.

The long-running operation, dating back almost 20 years, involved a pair of Queens-based schemes: the Ced-Hernandez sex trafficking organization brought the young women to New York with false promises of a better life, authorities charged in a 14-count Brooklyn Federal Court indictment.

The Godinez prostitution operation then drove the victims to meet with clients including Wayne Peiffer, a Village of Brewster police officer in Putnam County who also provided the ring with “advance warning of law enforcement operations,” authorities said.

Portland gives $12 MILLION contract to social justice energy company headed by fraudster ex-convict

Linda Woodley, an ex-convict that has racked up millions of dollars in liens for unpaid federal and states taxes, was recently awarded an $11.5 million energy contract by the City of Portland, Oregon.

According to the The Oregonian, Woodley served time in prison for defrauding energy companies and pocketing the proceeds.

Linda Woodley is the Chief of Diversifying Energy, a community-focused nonprofit organization based in Portland, Oregon. According to their website, their mission is to facilitate equitable access to clean, sustainable energy and improve air quality to vulnerable populations, including low-income communities and people of color.

Information about Woodley’s criminal history can be found through a simple background check, so either the city of Portland knew about her past and they decided to award Woodley with contract anyways or they didn’t properly vette her. A six-figure penalty was even filed against Woodley just earlier this year, information that can also be easily found.

The City of Portland reportedly diverted the contact to Woodley after finding out that the original company it was awarded to had an 85 percent white workforce, The Oregonian reports. The contract supplies low-income families with heaters and coolers.

Man in Clown Mask Attempts to Steal Jet to Fly to Area 51 to See Aliens

A Las Vegas man is in considerable legal trouble following a wild incident wherein he breached an airport’s security perimeter by way of a limousine and then donned a clown mask while attempting to commandeer a jet for a trip to Area 51 to see aliens. The multilayered misadventure reportedly unfolded last Wednesday evening when Matthew Hancock allegedly drove a limo through two metal fences surrounding the city’s McCarran International Airport. After pulling up alongside a jet on the tarmac, authorities say the man stepped out of his vehicle, put on a clown mask, and informed workers at the aircraft that he intended to “blow this place up” with a bomb.

According to police, Hancock then inexplicably got back inside the limousine and began to drive away, while the understandably alarmed airport personnel fled the scene. Fortunately, there was no standoff nor any altercation when cops caught up with the vehicle as the man is said to have surrendered immediately. It was then that things took an even stranger turn when Hancock reportedly revealed to police his reasoning for the brazen event. After telling them that there was a bomb in his vehicle, the man explained that he wanted to steal a jet and then somehow use it to journey to Area 51 “to look at aliens.”

Cops subsequently searched Hancock’s limousine and found a crude-looking fake bomb made out of what appeared to be an oxygen tank, a fire extinguisher, and various metal objects all strung together with Christmas lights. As one might imagine, the man was promptly arrested and has been charged with multiple crimes including threatening an act of terrorism.

During January 6 Hearing, Schiff Doctored Text Messages Between Mark Meadows And Rep. Jim Jordan

Not only did Schiff lie about the substance of the text message and its source, he even doctored the message and graphic that he displayed on screen during his statement. The full text message, which was forwarded to Meadows from Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, on the evening of Monday, Jan. 5, was significantly longer than what Schiff read and put on screen, but Schiff erased significant portions of the text and added punctuation where there was none to give the impression that Jordan himself was tersely directing Meadows to give orders to Pence on how to handle the electoral vote certification.

The original text was written by Washington attorney and former Department of Defense Inspector General Joseph Schmitz and included an attachment of a four-page draft Word document drafted by Schmitz that detailed Schmitz’s legal reasoning for suggesting that Pence had the constitutional authority to object to the certification of electoral votes submitted by a handful of states. The piece that Schmitz had sent to Jordan was published at the website everylegal.vote the next day and even included the same “DISCUSSION DRAFT” heading and timestamp on the document that Schmitz sent to Jordan.

Rand Paul Warns COVID Mandates Are “About Conditioning The American Individual To Submit To Government”

Senator Rand Paul has warned that as long as Americans continue to submit to government on coronavirus restrictions, the mandates and further erosions of freedom will never end.

Speaking with Dan Bongino, Paul responded to comments made last week by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer who compared “anti-vaxxers here in this chamber” to “flat earthers” from 400 years ago.

Paul noted that “Schumer left out one thing, when they were denying that the Earth went around the sun. It was the government denying that and it was an independent scientist trying to set them straight.”

Paul further explained “the danger is when you let science be controlled by government, or by one sort of monolithic individual like Fauci, it really doesn’t have anything to do with science. Science usually discovers the truth eventually. But when science is dictated by the government, that’s when you get, you know, Flat Earthers.”

Paul continued, “I don’t think it’s been about science for a long time,” adding “It’s really the about conditioning the American individual to submit to government. And you’re right, it never ends, the goalposts will continue to change. And ultimately, more and more of your healthcare will be controlled.”

“You know, under socialized medicine, when we centralize all controls, most of these decisions are made by government bureaucrats like Fauci,” the Senator further urged.

The Senator also painted a grim picture of where this could all be heading, stating “If you love the dictates on vaccines, you’ll love it when Fauci is in charge of who can be dialyzed.”

15 lawmakers profiting from defense industry investments while running US defense policy

Fifteen lawmakers serving on House and Senate committees that shape U.S. military policy are profiting from investments in prominent defense contractors benefited by the very policies they influence, according to federal financial records analyzed by Business Insider this week.  

Insider examined nearly 9,000 financial reports for every sitting member of Congress, as well as their top staffers, as part of a broader effort dubbed the Conflicted Congress project, which aims to identify possible conflicts of interest among lawmakers in Congress. Both Democrats and Republicans serving on the Armed Services committees have combined defense industry investments nearing $1 million as of 2020, and they’re continuing to invest and cash in.

Among the contractors that appeared in the committee members’ financial disclosures were Lockheed Martin Corp., Boeing Co., Raytheon Technologies Corp., Honeywell, and General Electric. Each company is known for spending millions to lobby the federal government in an effort to win lucrative government contracts and shape public policy.
