CBC report failed to inform readers that “tribunal” on residential schools is symbolic

The CBC is standing by its reporting on a self-described human rights tribunal that is “indicting” the Canadian government for alleged abuses and “genocide” in the residential school system, despite failing to note that the group’s lead prosecutor has a suspended law licence and that the organization has no legal authority in Canada.

The article, written by CBC reporter Joy SpearChief-Morris, profiles an activist group known as the “Permanent Peoples’ Tribunal” and its “trial” of Canada’s residential school system.

The report states that “seven international judges” would be “hearing evidence” during the proceeding as part of an investigation into missing Indigenous children and alleged “unmarked burials” associated with residential schools.

The hearing comes five years after the reported discovery of potential unmarked graves at the former Kamloops Indian Residential School. On May 27, 2021, the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc First Nation announced that a preliminary investigation had identified what were believed to be the remains of 215 children who attended the school.

Judge Rules New Evidence in Charlie Kirk Assassination to be Made Public Next Month

A judge ruled that new evidence in the Charlie Kirk assassination case will be made public during next month’s hearing.

Judge Tony Graf on Monday ruled that the media is allowed in the courtroom for the July hearing.

Fox News reported:

Judge Tony Graf has denied Tyler Robinson’s efforts to have portions of his upcoming preliminary hearing held behind closed doors and to keep some evidence exhibits hidden from public view.

The preliminary hearing is a routine step where prosecutors will attempt to convince they court they have enough probable cause to bring the case to trial, and they are expected to succeed.

In response to a separate motion to sanction prosecutors for allegedly speaking about the case improperly outside of court, Graf ordered a hearing for both sides to present arguments regarding the defense allegation.

Both sides will have 90 minutes to speak at a June 12 hearing.

That motion stemmed from prosecutors’ attempt to “set the record straight” after an allegedly misleading claim in defense court filings went viral after suggesting ballistics investigators could not match the bullet that killed Charlie Kirk to the suspected murder weapon.

Last month, Judge Tony Graf rejected a request from Tyler Robinson to ban cameras in the courtroom during the duration of the trial.

Robinson fatally shot TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk on September 10, 2025 during an event at Utah Valley University.

Tyler Robinson allegedly used a Mauser 98 .30-06 rifle to kill Charlie Kirk.

Bipartisan Opposition to a Military Draft

new poll by Overton Insights shows the breadth and depth of opposition to a military draft – and how far members of Congress lag behind popular anti-draft (and anti-war) sentiment.

All categories of Americans who were polled would oppose a draft: Republicans, Democrats, and independents; women and men; people of draft age and people too old to be drafted; and people of all races.

The wording of the poll reflected the confused nature of most recent reporting about U.S. planning and preparation for a draft. There was no mention of the impending shift from self-registration to automatic registration of young men for a future draft.

Respondents to the poll were asked, “If President Trump implemented a military draft, would you support or oppose it?”, which implies (incorrectly) that the President could activate a draft without authorization from Congress.

But the focus of the question on whether respondents would approve of an action by President Trump makes it even more noteworthy that a preponderance of Republicans – presumably supporters of the President – would oppose an attempt by Trump to activate a draft. 41% of Republicans would oppose a Trump draft, compared to 33% who would support it. Among Republicans as among all other groups, most opponents of a draft hold their views “strongly”, while most supporters would only “somewhat” support a draft.

Members of Congress have long been afraid that speaking out against trying to maintain “readiness” for a draft, even if draft registration has been a failure and trying to activate a draft would be a fiasco, would hurt them at the polls.

The takeaway from this latest opinion poll is that members and candidates for Congress regardless of party have much more to gain than to lose by taking a clear, strong stand against any draft.

ICE Keeps Finding the Criminals Democrats Pretend Don’t Exist

ICE agents arrested more criminal illegal aliens over the Memorial Day period and days after, including men convicted or charged in cases involving murder, child sexual abuse, sexual battery, robbery, burglary, drug trafficking, and violent assault. From DHS:

Yesterday, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested more public safety threats across the country, including those convicted for murder, sexual battery, sodomy, and aiding and abetting burglary.

“Yesterday, while ICE law enforcement arrested murderers, sexual deviants and burglars, anti-ICE rioters assaulted our federal law enforcement,” said Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis. “Instead of thanking our brave ICE law enforcement for removing the worst of the worst from our communities, sanctuary politicians continue spreading garbage about ICE facilities and political theatre. These types of smears are contributing to our law enforcement officers facing a more than 1,300% increase in assaults against them as they arrest the worst of the worst.”

President Donald Trump, DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin, and ICE field officers have made the priority plain: find the worst offenders first, remove them from American neighborhoods, and stop pretending immigration enforcement begins and ends at the border.

These names matter because the crimes are horrific

Carlos Sanchez-Benitez of El Salvador had a conviction for second-degree vehicular manslaughter. Lauro Javier-Miron-Tapia of Mexico had a conviction for lewd acts with a child under 14. Daniel Alexis Casasola-Rivera of Mexico also had a conviction for lewd acts with a child under 14. Nun Hawi Tuam of Myanmar had a conviction for aggravated sexual battery. Franklin William Orellana-Maya of Honduras had a sexual assault conviction.

None of those records fit the soft-focus story told by politicians who turn every ICE arrest into a sob story about enforcement run wild.

The list keeps going.

Yermy Hernandez-Castro of Honduras had a conviction for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Geovanny Gonzalez-Gonzalez of Nicaragua carried convictions for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Mario Zendejas-Gomez of Mexico faced charges that included fourth-degree assault, obstructing law enforcement, and violating a no-contact order.

These aren’t paperwork mistakes; they’re public safety threats with names, records, and victims.

ICE also named Miguel Sosa of Cuba, convicted of cocaine trafficking; Oriol Mora-Arroyo of Mexico, convicted of attempted trafficking of a schedule two controlled substance and carrying a concealed gun; Juan Flores-Archaga of Honduras, convicted of third-degree burglary; Jhonathan Perla-Bonilla of Honduras, charged with strong-arm robbery and burglary of an occupied conveyance; Alexei Marti-Martinez of Cuba, convicted of grand theft; and Pedro Wladimir Contreras-Perez of Ecuador, convicted of larceny and licensing violation.

For families living near repeat offenders, “targeted enforcement” means officers finally showing up before another victim gets added to the file.

Lauren Bis serves as acting assistant secretary for public affairs, and DHS has used her statements to explain ICE’s arrests of violent offenders, sex offenders, and drug criminals. ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operation handles the fieldwork that puts handcuffs on fugitives and convicted criminals.

Enforcement doesn’t happen by magic; policy starts at the top, and agents carry it into the streets.

BAD NEWS FOR PLATNER: Even the Ladies of ‘The View’ Are Turning on Him, Call Him a Racist, Liar, and Homophobe

Graham Platner, the Democratic Socialist (communist) running for U.S. Senate in Maine, has some serious problems. In addition to the Nazi tattoo, the vile Reddit comments, and now a sexting scandal, the ladies of The View are turning on him.

How bad of a Democrat candidate do you have to be to lose the support of the hosts of The View? These people will defend a Democrat for anything, but even they are backing away now.

Did a memo go out on the left that it’s time to dump this guy? How else can this be explained?

This is what Alyssa Farah Griffin said, via Mediaite:

To be honest, his sexting is the least of my concern. Graham Platner trashed a Purple Heart recipient — said he didn’t deserve to live — defamed fallen Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, downplayed how hard it is to report sexual assault in the military, repeatedly used anti-gay slurs and homophobic posts as recently as 2021, called himself an avowed communist, and has a Nazi tattoo for 20 years he has since covered up. This guy seems like a guy of not very good character. And there are a lot of options in this country and other paths for Democrats to win. Just win a different state. You need four seats. Look at Alaska, Iowa, look at Texas. Don’t die on the hill of a guy who is going to be a headache for years to come.

Then Sunny Hostin chimed in:

“Yeah, you know, I am conflicted,” Hostin said. “They asked Cory Booker how he felt about this because, I think all the allegations are true. The sexting with other women while married is definitely true because his wife…disclosed it. Why would she lie about that? So, that part is true.”

Hostin continued, “He’s also made racist remarks against African Americans. So he’s a cheater, he’s an antisemite — because the fact that he had that tattoo for 20 years and ‘didn’t know what it was’ is a lie. So he’s a liar, a racist, an antisemite…he’s a homophobe. So, he’s all the things, and character does matter.”

The Truth About Ebola

There have been a plethora of headlines promoting “new” virus narratives in 2026 after the COVID-19 fraud has taken a back seat. Now, fresh narratives involving hantavirus have been launched or at least relaunched after earlier episodes. Additionally, subplots have included perennial viruses such as influenzameasles and the previously dreaded HIV.

However, none of these stories stir up the same fear as Ebola, which is now being featured in the latest campaign. This is because people have been conditioned to believe that fever, bleeding from the eyes and a 50% death rate is the result of a highly-contagious “virus”. And while previous “outbreaks” have been limited to the Third World, the latest push involves the threat of much further spread.

We have exposed the anatomy of the fake COVID pandemic many times, including non-sensical case definitions and meaningless statistics. While we have covered Ebola previously, particularly in ‘Bioweapons BS‘, this is our first presentation completely dedicated to the topic. In this video we examine its history, whether anything new is actually happening and how best to respond to this latest situation.

Democrat Strategist TORCHES Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, Suggests Spencer Pratt Could Win Based on Voter Anger

Democrat strategist Melissa DeRosa appeared on FOX News today and absolutely slammed Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, noting that even though she has the establishment machine fully behind her campaign, she can’t break past 27 percent in polling.

She also notes that it has been 25 years since the city has had a Republican mayor and says that Spencer Pratt could win the race based on voter anger alone.

It’s amazing to see a Democrat strategist saying all of this out loud.

From Mediaite:

On Monday’s The Story on Fox News, Martha MacCallum played video of Bass saying of opponent Spencer Pratt, “It’s not just that he has no experience in city government, but I don’t know if he’s ever held a job in his life other than to be a reality TV star. And I think that he doesn’t know the issues. He’s operating out of anger. And what our city needs is to move forward, and a city where people can live their lives without the fear of crime.”

DeRosa told MacCallum, “Karen Bass is a Democrat with all of the establishment behind her. She has the union, and the governor, and Kamala Harris, but she can’t crack 26 or 27%.”

“So, that is not about Spencer Pratt, that is about her,” DeRosa said. “When you have a ceiling that low and you are the incumbent mayor, that is your constituents telling you, ‘You’re fired.’ So, Spencer Pratt — it’s fascinating to watch. A Republican has not been mayor in Los Angeles since 2001, so it’s been 25 years, and I think if he gets elected, he will get elected, yes, because people are angry, because they feel that the government has failed them.”…

“I think it’s gonna be a runoff between Bass and Pratt,” DeRosa said. “And then in a runoff, head-to-head, I actually think he can consolidate the anti-establishment vote, and he could come over the top, because she has a terrible record that she will defend for the next five months.”

IS HE AN ANDROID? Watch James Talarico Repeat a Clearly Rehearsed Line About Republicans Supporting Him, Word for Word

James Talarico, the Democrat running for a U.S. Senate seat in Texas, is one strange dude.

It’s amazing that Democrats thought they needed a Christian candidate in this race and they came up with him. Talarico is what a progressive campaign consultant thinks a Christian is. And in case you haven’t noticed, the ONLY time he brings up his Christian faith is when he is trying to defend some wacky, far left policy or position.

One of his new talking points is that Republicans are coming up to him at campaign events and telling him that they are secretly supporting him.

It’s a ridiculous claim, but it gets even sillier when you watch the video below. Watch him repeat the same line at different times, but word for word. How long do you think it took him to memorize this?

Dirty Trick Alert: The REAL Reason Why the (Latest) Graham Platner Scandal Broke Now — and Not in October

Exactly one month before Election Day 2025, National Review broke a major scandal about Jay Jones, Virginia’s Democratic nominee for attorney general: Jones, it seems, had fantasized about murdering his political enemies — along with their young children.

Jones’ blood-soaked fantasies weren’t anonymously posted on Reddit. There were no pseudonyms; no GOP detective work was necessary. Remarkably, Jones sent his texts directly to a Republican legislator named Carrie Coyner.

From National Review:

On August 8, 2022, a Republican state legislator received a disturbing string of early-morning text messages from a former colleague, Jay Jones, this year’s Democratic nominee for Virginia attorney general.

[…]

“If those guys die before me,” Jones wrote, referencing the Republican colleagues who were publicly honoring the deceased Johnson’s memory, “I will go to their funerals to piss on their graves” to “send them out awash in something.”

Jones then suggested that, presented with a hypothetical situation in which he had only two bullets and was faced with the choice of murdering then-Speaker of the House Todd Gilbert or two dictators, he’d shoot Gilbert “every time,” prompting pushback from his former colleague:

Jones: Three people, two bullets

Gilbert, hitler, and pol pot

Gilbert gets two bullets to the head

Spoiler: put Gilbert in the crew with the two worst people you know and he receives both bullets every time

Coyner: Jay

Please stop

Jones: Lol

Ok, ok

Coyner: It really bothers me when you talk about hurting people or wishing death on them

It isn’t ok

No matter who they are

This meant that Coyner had been sitting on this scandal since August of 2022. She could’ve released Jones’ damning text messages whenever she wanted!

Yet she patiently waited until exactly one month before the 2025 election.

SHOWDOWN: GOP Senators Make More Demands as DOJ Signals Trump Administration is Dropping Weaponization Fund

Republican Senators were not satisfied with the Justice Department’s statement on the $1.77 billion weaponization fund and demanded a clear statement from Trump.

Recall that the Senate GOP last month delayed the reconciliation vote to fund ICE and Border Patrol – and Senate Majority Leader John Thune admitted it is a political hit against President Trump.

The Republican Senators delayed the reconciliation vote because of the DOJ weaponization fund.

Earlier Monday it was reported that President Trump is going to drop the $1.77 billion weaponization fund created to pay people targeted by the Biden Regime.

The DOJ released a statement on the weaponization fund:

The Department of Justice disagrees strongly with the decision on the Anti-Weaponization Fund put forth by the United States District Court Judge in the Eastern District of Virginia, wherein the Court stated that, under no circumstances, may the Department of Justice proceed with the Anti-Weaponization Fund recently established in order to make up for the tremendous abuse, harm, and hate unfairly shown to so many people. This Fund was open to anybody who was so weaponized, targeted, or persecuted, whether they were Democrat, Republican, Conservative, Independent, or otherwise. The Department will abide by the Court’s ruling.
