Mexican national pleads guilty in meth trafficking conspiracy linked to Oregon murder

A Mexican national has pleaded guilty in federal court for his role in a violent meth trafficking operation that spanned the Portland metro area in 2019. He fled to Canada, but was extradited and has been charged.

Fernando Adolip Cruz-Lerma, 25, was extradited from Canada and then entered his guilty plea for conspiracy charges related to narcotics distribution. Court filings reveal that Cruz-Lerma was part of a criminal network operating in spring 2019. According to prosecutors, the conspiracy involved both large-scale drug distribution and deadly violence to enforce debts.

“According to court documents, in April and May 2019, Cruz-Lerma conspired with others to engage in drug trafficking. In April, Cruz-Lerma transported a victim from the state of Washington to Clackamas County due to a drug debt that the victim owed to members of the drug trafficking conspiracy. The victim was killed by members of the drug trafficking conspiracy in furtherance of the conspiracy. Cruz-Lerma assisted with leaving the victim’s body along a rural road in Clackamas County after the victim had been killed,” a press release from the DOJ stated.

Liberals battle ICE over an illegal busted with 57 pounds of meth…

At some point, you have to ask what exactly the left is fighting for.

Because when a man is caught with 57 pounds of meth, this probably isn’t the hill you should die on. Clearly, something has gone very wrong in the Democrat Party. America is drowning in drugs, and families are being ripped apart by addiction. US cities are buckling under fentanyl and meth epidemics, and yet in Minneapolis, left-wing activists showed up to physically try to block ICE from arresting an illegal caught with enough meth to poison entire communities.

This is what the left-wing “resistance” has become… fighting tooth and nail for the rights of illegal drug smugglers.

How will that look on a campaign poster?

American voters reelected President Trump on a promise to restore order, secure the border, and remove Biden’s dangerous illegals from our communities. That mandate was crystal clear. But in Minneapolis, activists decided the will of the voters doesn’t matter. Apparently, “democracy” now includes saving drug smugglers from arrest.

14 Montana animal shelter workers hospitalized after FBI meth burn goes wrong

Fourteen workers at a Montana animal shelter were rushed to the hospital after breathing in meth-laced smoke from a botched FBI drug incineration in the same building, officials said.

Staffers at the Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter in Billings fell ill Wednesday when fumes from an FBI meth burn seeped through a shared ventilation system, according to city officials.

The employees were treated in hyperbaric oxygen chambers at Billings Clinic after reporting dizziness, headaches and coughing, authorities told KRTV-TV.

Shelter director Triniti Halverson said the smoke poured in within minutes of the crematorium fire, forcing workers to evacuate dozens of animals.

“Then the little bit longer that I could smell it, I knew that it was something burning in the crematorium, like the incinerary,” Halverson told the outlet.

“Several of my staff were coughing, sweating, just dizzy, physically feeling ill.”

Izzy Zalenski, the community engagement coordinator, said the shelter’s HVAC system was not designed to handle chemical burns and quickly pulled contaminated air inside.

“It’s never smelled like that before,” said Zalenski. “The HVAC system is the exact same as a typical office. It’s not made for an animal shelter.”
