AND THERE IT IS: NBC News Casually Admits Mail-in Ballots Always Put Democrats Ahead as Far Left Candidate Gains on Spencer Pratt in LA

Here we go again.

If you have been following the race for mayor of Los Angeles, you have probably noticed that Spencer Pratt’s lead is slowly being eroded and Nithya Raman, the far left Democratic Socialist (communist) candidate keeps gaining.

The explanation for this is very simple. It’s fraud. Raman is benefiting from the state’s system of mail-in ballots, which SOMEHOW always benefits the left. Isn’t it fascinating how ballots that are tabulated after the election always benefit just one side?

NBC News recently admitted this on the air, without a hint of irony.

REPORTER: Why would those votes, we don’t know what they’re gonna be, but why would the mail-in votes, the later votes, break for Raman, possibly?

STEVE KORNACKI: Because that is the pattern in California with this system. We’ve seen this now probably for about a decade out there. It’s those votes that get tabulated after election day, they tend to be almost always or heavily, heavily Democratic. We’ve seen this in congressional races in California now over the last decade or so where on election night, we’ve had cases where, a number of them where the Republican candidate is ahead on election night and then it’s a process over days, sometimes even weeks in these key congressional races where just with every one of the updates like the one you just saw right here in LA, the Democrats get closer and closer and closer.

7 Republicans vote no on FISA extension

Seven Republican senators sided with Democrats early Friday to vote against advancing an extension of warrantless spy powers set to expire next week, complicating efforts to keep those powers alive.

The procedural vote failed by a vote of 47-52 after Sens. Josh Hawley (Mo.), Sen. John Kennedy (La.), Mike Lee (Utah), Rand Paul (Ky.), Eric Schmitt (Mo.), Rick Scott (Fla.) and Tommy Tuberville (Ala.) broke with their GOP colleagues.

Some of the pushback was attributed to President Trump’s tapping of Federal Housing Finance Agency chief Bill Pulte to serve as acting director of national intelligence, which received backlash from both sides of the aisle.

Lee brushed off speculation that anger over Pulte’s appointment was the motivator behind the defectors who voted with Democrats, instead pointing to privacy concerns.

“FISA 702 reauthorization failed because it did not contain a warrant requirement for spying on Americans,” the Utah Republican wrote on the social platform X. “The people who spied on the Trump campaign, Members of Congress, and countless other Americans hate the idea.”

He added, “Come back with warrant requirement, and we’ll pass the bill.”

The motion to proceed would have paved the way for enhanced federal surveillance authorities under Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) before it lapses June 12.

Trump’s decision to name Pulte to replace outgoing Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard triggered fights on Capitol Hill.

Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.), vice chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, said Democrats could not support extending surveillance authorities with Pulte in a position to access sensitive intelligence information that could be used against Trump’s political foes.

“I thought I had gotten to the stage where I could no longer be shocked by Donald Trump’s choices, but this may be the most outrageous of all,” he told MS NOW, speaking of the recent appointment.

Every Senate Democrat except Sen. John Fetterman (Pa.) voted against the motion, as they argued Pulte could not be trusted to oversee the nation’s intelligence apparatus, among other reasons.

Where’s the Beef? A Long-Gone Livestock-Eating Bug Is Back, and I have a Theory As to Why.

It turns out that a flesh-eating larva, the screwworm, not seen in the U.S. since 1966, has found its way back onto livestock ranches in southern Texas, and I smell a stink badger in the perfume aisle.

The infected calf (rumors have it that a second cow has been located, but I cannot yet verify this report) is on a ranch very close to the Mexican border. Authorities have set up a 12-mile quarantine zone around the ranch.

You may recall the feds arrested three Chinese scientists spies at the Detroit airport, one of whom was busted for sneaking in a fungus that could be used to wipe out our crops, and another was caught sneaking in roundworms, which are also devastating to mammals, including livestock.  

Here’s the fun part: Texas authorities arrested six camo-clad Chinese nationals with backpacks on a ranch in Texas on May 26, allegedly with the help of Mexican cartels. Less than a week later, the first case of screwworm was discovered. Somehow, that didn’t make the big Operation Mockingbird headlines. 

We do not yet know what the authorities found in those aforementioned backpacks.

The ranch where the Chinese were discovered is about 41 miles away from the ranch where the first infected calf was located, roughly a day-and-a-half walk. Both ranches are located very close to the Mexican border, in an area where few Chinese illegal border-rushers have been apprehended in the open-border years of the Biden administration.

Sunny Hostin Admits She Hates America, Declares Country a ‘Failed Experiment’

People often use the term “hate” rather loosely these days.

“I hate the Buffalo Bills,” or “I hate pepperoni,” or “I hate pumpkin pie” are various forms of “hate” you may hear.

The term has, frankly, lost a lot of meaning, not unlike the term “racist.”

But there’s a different, much more real sort of hate that exists out there. It’s not the sort of hate you just casually announce or throw around. It’s the sort of genuine hatred that emanates from one’s actions and words.

And it doesn’t take Sherlock Holmes to figure out that “The View” co-host Sunny Hostin really does hate America for not being the far-left fever dream that she seems to want.

Just watch this latest clip, courtesy of the Media Research Center’s Associate Editor Nicholas Fondacaro, that’s making the rounds showing how festive Hostin is in the lead-up to America’s 250th birthday celebration:

“And so I think we have a very complicated history here,” Hostin said. “I think it’s a very complicated country.”

Honestly, had she stopped here with her Debbie Downer act, it would’ve been defensible. History is complicated. Nobody’s arguing that it isn’t.

But of course, Hostin just couldn’t help herself.

“And at this point, I am embarrassed at our government,” she said. “I’m embarrassed at our lack of health care. I’m embarrassed on the assault on the press. I’m embarrassed of our Congress. I’m embarrassed by the criminal felon president that is in the Oval Office that has a UFC cage on the White House lawn.”

Obamacare failed. Former President Joe Biden’s social media pressure about the coronavirus vaccine was worse than anything Trump may or may not have done against the press. I’ll actually give her Congress being embarrassing, since people like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar are in it. “Criminal felon president” is a cute slogan, but missing crucial context. And the UFC is gnarly.

What else you got, Sunny?

“I’m embarrassed about all those things,” she droned on. “And I’m also embarrassed at how America is now seen across the globe. I don’t think that many Americans understand that we are part of a wonderful global community. And when you look at our allies, our allies are now giving us a one-star rating as a country.

Central Command Announces Strikes in Goruk and Qeshm Island After Iranian Drone and Missile Strikes – Iran Threatens to Escalate, Says Negotiations Are “At a Deadlock”

The US and Iran traded missile strikes, with Iran targeting neighboring Gulf countries and shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, on Friday, as negotiations to end the war stall. 

Mohsen Rezaei, military adviser to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, told CNN on Friday, “The negotiations are at a deadlock and (US President Donald) Trump must break this deadlock.”

“The ball is in Trump’s court,” Rezaei added. He further threatened that Iran will “drag the war” beyond the region “by attacking these other American bases that we have been attacking so far.”

After intercepting six Iranian missiles launched in the Strait of Hormuz,  “U.S. forces subsequently struck Iranian coastal surveillance radar sites in Goruk and on Qeshm Island to defend against further maritime attacks,” Central Command said in a statement late Friday, releasing video from the strikes.

“Initial assessments indicate six of the missiles launched by Iran were intercepted and a seventh did not reach its intended target. There are currently no reports of harm to U.S. personnel, and Iranian claims of damaging U.S. 5th fleet headquarters in Bahrain are false,” Central Command said. “CENTCOM forces remain vigilant and postured to continue responding to unwarranted Iranian aggression in self-defense.”

University Of Oregon Grapples With Budget Crisis After Years Of Woke Excess

It appears that being unrelentingly woke means that you need fewer dormitories. The University of Oregon is facing a major budget crisis and will cut $65 million from its budget and close dorms due to low enrollment. That growing crisis, however, did not stop Oregon from burning almost a million dollars fighting against free speech. It also did not induce its faculty to offer greater intellectual diversity and tolerance to prospective students. Oregon is a cautionary tale for a generation of academic social warriors, but also an opportunity for those who want to restore balance in higher education.

Oregon has long been an example of academic orthodoxy. While most state schools begrudgingly yield to First Amendment demands and offer better free speech alternatives to private universities, Oregon is known as a hardened silo for the far left in teaching.

We previously discussed how Portland State University Professor Bruce Gilley, who was blocked from the Twitter account of the University of Oregon’s Division of Equity and Inclusion after tweeting “All men are created equal.” Oregon spent almost a million dollars fighting to bar such speech.

Such controversies have plagued the university for years, with no sign of self-examination by administrators or academics. The university was criticized for its monitoring of social media to punish errant thoughts or microaggressions. The law school’s law review was accused of anti-Israel discrimination.

The school previously gave special recognition to University of California (Santa Barbara) Professor Mireille Miller-Young, who criminally assaulted pro-life advocates on the campus of the University of California at Santa Barbara.  At the University of Oregon, she was honored as a featured speaker at the University of Oregon’s  Department of Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.  Part of its “black feminist speaker series,” Miller-Young’s work was highlighted by the College of Arts and Sciences and the Department of English to show “the radical potential of black feminism in the work that we do on campus and in our everyday lives.”

Now, the school is facing declining revenues and enrollments.

President Karl Scholz recently announced that this was due to lower out-of-state first-year enrollment, which means lower tuition revenue, increased costs, and a loss of grant funding.

Strangely, while closing dorms, the school is still building two new dorms.

Putting aside the school’s past budget judgment and discipline, the university’s reputation for intellectual orthodoxy deters many who do not want to pay tuition for their children to be indoctrinated or silenced.  Even with plunging trust in higher education, administrators and faculty cannot resist the temptation to exclude opposing voices.

Oregon is not the only school facing such shortfalls. Some woke institutions have closed entirely. The irony is that faculty would seem to prefer to see their institutions die than restore balance to their departments. However, this may offer a real opportunity for legislators and donors to force real changes in the culture of these schools.

Biden-Appointed Judge Blocks Trump Admin from Conditioning Billions in SNAP on Stopping Gender Ideology, Benefits for Illegal Aliens, and Attacks on Girls’ Sports – 20 Democrat States Celebrate Win for Woke Agendas

In yet another blatant example of judicial activism and lawfare against the will of the American people, U.S. District Judge Myong Joun – a Biden appointee with a well-documented history of blocking President Trump’s agenda – sided with 20 Democrat states and the District of Columbia on Friday, granting a preliminary injunction that halted the Trump administration’s efforts to tie federal food assistance funding to basic common-sense conditions.

The ruling stops the U.S. Department of Agriculture from enforcing requirements on states receiving tens of billions in SNAP (food stamps), school lunch, WIC, and other nutrition program dollars.

Among the blocked conditions: restrictions on promoting “gender ideology,” preventing illegal aliens from accessing taxpayer-funded benefits, and ensuring “fair athletic opportunities” for women and girls.

This is the same Judge Myong Joun who previously blocked Trump administration efforts to reform and downsize the Department of Education, as The Gateway Pundit has reported.

The Trump administration, under Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins, has been working to clean up these massive federal programs.

As The Gateway Pundit previously detailed, the USDA put ALL programs under review to ensure only American citizens receive food stamps and other benefits. New requirements from Republican-backed legislation had already reduced SNAP rolls by nearly 4.3 million beneficiaries between January 2025 and January 2026 through basic eligibility enforcement.

The new conditions were straightforward America First policy:

  • States had to certify they were not using federal funds to promote gender ideology, including programs that would deprive women and girls of fair athletic opportunities (i.e., keeping biological males out of girls’ sports).
  • States could not allow illegal aliens to obtain taxpayer-funded benefits or create incentives for illegal immigration.
  • Broader compliance with federal anti-discrimination laws and Trump executive orders on these issues.

In short, the administration was simply saying: if you want billions in federal food aid, you don’t get to use it to push radical transgender ideology or subsidize illegal immigration on the taxpayers’ dime.

“A Total Joke” – Gubernatorial Candidate Steve Hilton GOES OFF on California’s Shady Elections, Vows to End Mail-In Voting Scam

Republican California gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton on Friday went off on California’s rigged election system and the “completely outrageous” weeks or month-long counting process. 

“First of all, however long it takes, we are confident that we’re going to be in the top two at the end of this process. There is nothing that we’re seeing that changes our assessment that we will be in the top two once all the votes are counted,” he said. “And what does that mean? That means change is coming!”

Hilton continued, “This shambles is absolutely shameful for our state. India counts over 640 million votes in a day. California cannot count less than 10 million votes in a month. Thanks to the Democrats in charge of our state, we have become a national and an international laughing stock.”

“And then, when you dig into what is actually happening here, you see the reason,” he added, highlighting Ventura County, which won’t have another update on vote totals until Tuesday, June 9, one whole week after election day.

Hilton then laid out his plan to ensure the integrity of elections and eliminate the unchecked mail-in voting with three common-sense reforms if elected governor.

“Mail-in ballots must arrive by election day if they’re going to be counted,” he said.

“Mail-in ballots can only be offered by request, as it used to be. We shouldn’t send out mail-in ballots to everyone on the voter rolls when we know the voter rolls are completely wrong.”

And, he said, “We should be pre-counting these votes, just like Florida does, so it doesn’t end up being this mad backlog that takes a month or so to count. It’s completely ridiculous.”

Bot and AI overtake human-generated web traffic for the first time; we are in the age of the “Dead Internet”

According to data from Cloudflare, automated bot and AI agent traffic has surpassed human-generated web traffic for the first time in history, with 57.4 per cent of requests to websites it hosts being automated bot requests, while only 42.6 per cent originate from human users.

The rapid proliferation of AI agents, which are autonomous programs that use various tools and collaborate with high-level programs and data with minimal human oversight, is largely attributed to the surge in automated traffic. These AI systems operate at a dramatically different scale than human users.

Matthew Prince, co-founder and CEO of Cloudflare, expressed surprise at the speed of the transition from human-generated to computer-program-generated content.  He had predicted it would happen by the end of 2027.

The precise date when bots surpassed human activity remains uncertain due to data variability but Prince acknowledged that the data clearly indicates that bots have surpassed human traffic and this shift carries significant implications for the internet’s future structure and business models.

Prince noted that the web actually shrank from 2015 to 2025 but the trend has reversed dramatically in recent months, with exponential growth of the web being powered by AI.

The rise in automated traffic also presents challenges for the internet’s traditional economic model. Bots do not click on ads, which raises fundamental questions about how websites and content creators will generate revenue in an increasingly bot-dominated landscape.  As a potential solution, Prince proposed charging bots for access to digital users’ content.

The news has re-ignited discussions about the “dead internet theory.” The theory suggests that increasing AI presence will eventually result in an internet dominated by bots interacting with each other, rendering human content largely irrelevant.  Prince disputes this viewpoint.  He believes that AI has given access to content creation to a much broader audience and could lead to a “golden age of the internet” if managed effectively.

BEGINNING OF THE END: Russians Storming Konstantinovka, Fortified Bastion in the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk Agglomeration, Last Donetsk Stronghold Still Held by Ukraine

Konstantinovka is the key to the fortress belt.

The cradle of the war in Ukraine are the Oblasts of Donetsk and Luhansk – two majority Russian-speaking regions that have since voted to be part of Russia.

By now, the Luhansk region has been completely conquered by Russians, and Donetsk is being fought inch by inch, with Kiev still retaining around 15% of the territory.

The last Ukrainian bastions are the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk fortress belt, a formidable group of fortified cities who have been preparing for this day ever since 2014.

Even though the pace of Russian advances is somewhat lackluster compared to the rapid conquests of 2025, we have arrived to the point where the Russian forces have broken through to Konstantinovka, the first bastion of the region.
