America First Legal Takes Fight to Fix Botched 2020 Census to Supreme Court – Statistical Tricks Favored Blue States and Robbed GOP States of Electoral Votes

America First Legal has taken its landmark challenge against the deeply flawed 2020 Census straight to the U.S. Supreme Court, demanding that the justices reverse a lower court’s dismissal and force accountability for a count that systematically undercounted red states while padding blue ones.

On August 7, AFL, co-founded by Trump senior advisor Stephen Miller, filed a jurisdictional statement with the Supreme Court. The group is asking the high court to hear its case and overturn the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida’s ruling that dismissed the lawsuit.

A divided three-judge panel had thrown out the case in July, claiming the plaintiffs lacked standing and that the challenge came too late. Judge Steven Merryday issued a blistering dissent, warning that “If the census and the vote are not right, nothing that follows from them is right.”

This is not some technical accounting dispute. The 2020 Census, conducted under the Biden-Harris administration’s early influence after Trump left office, abandoned the Constitution’s clear command of an “actual Enumeration.”

Instead, the Census Bureau leaned heavily on statistical imputation and other gimmicks, filling in missing people with made-up data and injecting “noise” under the guise of privacy.

The result? Florida was undercounted by approximately 3.48 percent, or roughly 760,000 people. Other red and purple states took similar hits, while several blue states were overcounted.

Those distortions directly translated into lost congressional seats and Electoral College votes for Republican-leaning states. Florida, already a powerhouse of growth and Trump support, was shortchanged representation it earned.

University Invites Terror-Loving Hasan Piker to Speak and Then The Normies Weigh In

Don’t bother to wonder, “What were they thinking?” There wasn’t much thinking going on at all at the Office of Public Lectures at my alma mater, the University of Washington in Seattle, when they asked Hasan Piker to speak on campus. 

Now, I know some folks don’t know who Piker is, and that apparently includes the people who asked him to speak on campus because the ghastly alternative is that they did know and hired him anyway. 

Recently, you’ve seen Piker on the arm of the possible future senator from Michigan Abdul El-Sayed, who’s the son-in-law of a Muslim Brotherhood true believer. He also campaigned with anti-Semite Zohran Mamdani in the New York City mayor’s race. He’s also making the rounds with Wisconsin gubernatorial candidate Francesca Hong, the bipolar, DSA commie. Huh, I wonder if she’s Muslim too. Someone should ask her other personality to double check.

Anyway, the university’s lecture series includes the usual womyn political journalists, climate catastrophists, and even a lecturer on midterms—no, silly, not university midterms, political ones. 

The announcement of Piker’s January 2027 lecture on the university’s website enthused, “Hasan Piker is not your typical political commentator. Armed with sharp analysis and an irreverent wit, he has built a massive daily audience on Twitch — and become an unlikely but authoritative voice for a generation hungry for honest political engagement.”

REPORT: More Than HALF of New York Students Grades 3-5 Failed Basic Reading Tests This Year

More than half of students in grades 3-5 in New York state failed basic reading tests this year. It’s an absolute disgrace.

In New York City, they spend upwards of $40,000 on each student per school year. What is the money going to> Lessons on critical race theory and gender studies topics? Social justice activism?

Reading is one of the most basic and necessary skills that schools are expected to teach children. People who cannot read are absolutely doomed in adult life.

Part of this can be blamed on draconian school shutdowns during Covid but not all of it.

The New York Post reports:

NY 3rd-5th graders fail basic reading tests with more than half not even proficient: data

More than half of 3rd- to 5th-grade students in the Empire State failed their reading proficiency state exams this year, according to shocking new data.

Preliminary results released this week by the state Education Department that 57% of 3rd graders, 52% of 4th graders and 57% of 5th graders failed to make the grade on their 2025-26 English Language Arts tests.

City kids in grades 3-8 saw a 6% drop in their ELA scores from last year, with just about half overall rating proficient.

Overall, just 48% of students in the testing grades, 4th-8th, rated proficient on the ELA — a “significant” 5% plunge from the previous year, the department said.

Fifth graders saw the largest drop of any grade level, with those students’ reading proficiency declining by an incredible 14 points, according to the results.

In New York City — where about 40% of the state’s public school students are enrolled — the decline was even more concerning.

A California startup won approval to launch a 59-foot mirror into orbit that beams sunlight to a chosen spot on Earth, helping crews work after dark

ight falls, solar panels stop producing, and emergency crews often turn to fuel-powered generators and floodlights. A California startup now wants to offer another option by redirecting sunlight from orbit to a chosen place on Earth for a few minutes.

On July 9, 2026, the Federal Communications Commission authorized Reflect Orbital to deploy and operate Earendil-1, one experimental satellite carrying a reflector about 59 feet by 59 feet. From an orbit roughly 388 miles above Earth, the spacecraft is intended to create a moonlike patch of light about 3.1 miles wide while testing whether that footprint can be aimed and controlled accurately.

A mirror that follows the Sun

Earendil-1 will not make electricity or store solar energy. Its thin reflective film will act like a giant heliostat in space, turning so it can intercept sunlight while the satellite remains sunlit and redirect that light toward a location that has already entered darkness.

Because it moves quickly through low Earth orbit, a single pass would illuminate a target only briefly. Reflect Orbital says its planned 2026 demonstration is designed to provide around 0.1 lux for up to five minutes, equal to roughly 0.009 foot-candles and comparable to a clear night under a full moon.

The light can be removed from the ground by changing the spacecraft’s orientation. That steering ability is at the heart of the mission, since the test must show that the reflector can unfold, point accurately, hold its footprint, and turn away when service ends.

Dimwit Kamala Harris Warns that SAVE Act Will Force People to Prove Who They Are to Vote — How Are Democrats Supposed to Win?

How are dead Democrats supposed to produce an ID to vote?

Dimwit Kamala Harris, likely the densest candidate to ever run for president, a woman who struggled to complete full sentences without some nonsensical rambling diatribe, spoke out against the SAVE Act on Friday.

Unfortunately, she thought it was a good idea to post her thoughts on social media.
Big mistake.

She obviously is unaware of her limitations.

On Friday, Kamala Harris warned Americans that the SAVE America Act will force people to prove who they are to vote!
The horror!

Kamala Harris:  This president is trying to push this SAVE Act, which basically would require that for people to register to vote, you’re gonna have to have proof of who you are through a passport, which a lot of Americans don’t have, or a birth certificate. Same point, obstacles to make it difficult for you to register to vote.

And then you got the states. 19 states have already passed laws to make it more difficult to vote, and the ones that that haven’t passed a law are doing it in practice in many places around our country. Why? ‘Cause they’re scared of you. They are scared of your power, the power you have, the power of your voice through your vote.

So the work we have to do right now, let’s make sure everybody, one, check your voter registration status ’cause you know they’ve been purging the rolls. Make sure you register to vote. Even if you thought you are, just make sure. Next, let’s make sure that everybody we know is registered to vote if they’ve not registered before. And then let’s encourage everyone, vote early where they can, vote by mail where they can, and vote.

It’s gonna make a difference.

Watch ‘Unbiased’ Leftist Judge Become Completely Unhinged in Open Court in Election Case

The issue in court on Friday was supposed to have been over the obviously loaded and biased words used to describe the impact of an anti-income tax ballot measure on the Washington state November ballot. People supporting the ballot measure demanded state law be upheld to use neutral terms to describe what the measure actually does. Oh, but that’s not what they got in court. Not by a long shot. 

What court watchers, especially those watching on state CCTV got instead, was a nakedly partisan activist in a black robe who apparently was under the illusion he was auditioning for the Real Housewives of Thurston County, engaging in an unhinged histrionic display instead of delivering something remotely close to justice.

The gesticulating arms. Dirty looks. Savage teeth-showing disdain. Judge Chris Lanese’s unmitigated looks of smugness in court were on display for all to see. Bar complaints will inevitably follow, and deservedly so. Judicial temperament? What temperament? Lanese never made an attempt to use neutrality of any kind in that courtroom. 

He looks friendly.

The entire display (below) showed the closed loop that is one-party rule in Washington, especially in Thurston County, the home of the state capital of Olympia. 

A supermajority of leftists passed the unquestionably unconstitutional graduated income tax — which the state’s constitution forbids. Backers lied and called it a “millionaire’s tax,” with no language limiting who would be subjected to it.

Radical Obama Judge Mehta ‘Reluctantly’ Dismisses Oath Keepers Case With Prejudice – Injects Unconstitutional Guilt Dicta

On August 4, 2026, in a ruling that closes the book on one of the most high-profile January 6 prosecutions/persecutions, U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta (an Obama appointee) on August 4, “reluctantly” granted the Department of Justice’s motion to dismiss with prejudice the indictments against Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes and seven other Oath Keepers: Kelly Meggs, Kenneth Harrelson, Jessica Watkins, Robert Minuta, Edward Vallejo, Joseph Hackett, and David Moerschel.

Those eight Oath Keepers were among the fourteen Oath Keepers and Proud Boys whose sentences were commuted rather than pardoned by President Trump on Inauguration Day, January 20, 2025. Their sentences had been reduced to time served, but they remained “convicted felons.”

As we previously reported, on April 14, 2026—three days before the defendants’ appellate briefs were due to be filed in the D.C. Court of Appeals—the Trump DOJ filed an unopposed motion to vacate their convictions and remand their cases to the District Court for dismissal with prejudice. On May 21, 2026, the Court of Appeals granted that DOJ motion (as well as a nearly identical motion in the Proud Boys case).With the convictions now vacated, all that remained was for the D.C. District Courts—the trial courts—to grant the DOJ’s unopposed (meaning the defendants agreed) motions to dismiss the charges with prejudice.

Talarico caught on tape giggling about his church housing illegal immigrants set for deportation

Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico bragged in a resurfaced interview that his church had stirred controversy by housing a family of illegal immigrants who were set to be deported by ICE, laughing as he said that “Christianity is just another word for causing trouble.”

Talarico, a Presbyterian seminarian who serves as a Democratic state representative, is running against Republican Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton for a Senate seat that is critical to both parties.

In a resurfaced clip of Talarico speaking on Texas Impact’s “Weekly Witness” show in June 2023, he credited his faith for “why I am in politics.” Asked how his faith influences his politics, Talarico pointed to examples of his church advancing progressive causes, saying, “Justice is just love out in public.”

“Our church was really active in LGBTQ rights in the ’90s. We caught some attention by letting an atheist join our church in the 2000s, and then in the 2010s, again stirred some controversy by housing an undocumented family, a mother and son, who were close to being deported by ICE,” he said. “That was the tradition that I was brought up in. It’s what led me to teach public school students on the west side of San Antonio, led me to run an education nonprofit and then led me to run for office.”

“And so, again,” he continued, “this idea that Christianity is just another word for causing trouble.”

During the same interview, Talarico decried what he referred to as “Christo-fascism” and the religious right, which he accused of seeking to subvert democracy by forcing a “certain type of Christianity.”

Asked for specific examples of Christo-fascism in Texas, he pointed to a law requiring public schools to display the Ten Commandments, another allowing schools to replace guidance counselors with chaplains, and the state’s school voucher program. He also pointed to laws banning sex-change surgeries and treatments for children and Texas’ abortion ban.

“All these ideologies stem from this Christo-fascism movement, which, essentially, like I said, is just using faith to exercise raw political, social and economic power,” said Talarico. “I think it’s dangerous to all of us, but particularly to those who are marginalized and oppressed in our state.”

WOKE FAILURE: More Than 3,000 University of California Professors Demand Return of SAT After “Equity” Experiment Leaves Incoming Students Unable to Do Basic Math

The University of California’s grand experiment with “equity” in college admissions is running headfirst into an inconvenient reality: thousands of professors say incoming students are showing up without the basic academic skills needed to handle university coursework.

UC ditched standardized testing requirements in 2020, first going test-optional amid the COVID panic and then fully test-blind, all in the name of “equity.”

Regents claimed the tests discriminated against students of color and lower-income applicants, even though a faculty task force had found the opposite: the SAT and ACT were strong predictors of college success and actually helped identify talented disadvantaged students who might otherwise have been overlooked. The data was ignored. Ideology won.

Six years later, the results are in and they are catastrophic.

According to the LA Times, more than 3,000 UC faculty, including STEM professors and department chairs, have signed open letters demanding the return of the tests.

At UC San Diego, a faculty report documented a roughly 30-fold surge between 2020 and 2025 in incoming freshmen whose math skills tested below high school level.

Of those, about 70% fell below middle school levels, reaching roughly one in twelve students in the entering class. Professors report having to reteach basic arithmetic and algebra while trying to deliver college material.

Southern elementary school erupts as parents bitterly divided over new transgender teacher… with furious families clashing over claims children are ‘too young’ for a ‘biological male in a dress’

A North Carolina elementary school is facing backlash after parents discovered a transgender music teacher was educating students while wearing a dress, causing a bitter divide. 

Middle Creek Elementary School in Apex, near Raleigh, went back to school on July 30, where students were met with a new music teacher, who is a ‘transgender biological male, who dresses as a woman,’ State Representative Erin Paré said in a statement. 

At a school board meeting on Tuesday, many parents said they were unaware of the new hire, with many finding out via social media, after popular creators, such as Libs of TikTok, posted about the teacher. 

The news bitterly divided parents over whether or not the educator should be allowed to wear clothing items, such as dresses and skirts, during school hours. 

Paré is also calling for a mandatory dress code for public school teachers, which would include ‘requiring gender-appropriate professional attire,’ she said. 

However, the Wake County School Board said implementing a new dress code would be unconstitutional and discriminatory. 

‘Enforcing gender-differentiated clothing requirements based on traditional gender roles constitutes impermissible sex stereotyping under the Constitution,’ Board Member Chris Heagarty told parents. 

‘So can we all come together, respect the law, and work on how we can all come together and fund our kids’ education?’ 

Heagarty said the district is ‘following the guidance of the United States Constitution and our US courts system,’ which dictated that school dress codes ‘must be gender neutral and non-discriminatory.’ 

Many parents and board members spoke in support of the teacher, including board member Jennifer Job, who accused parents of using the educator to propel their political agenda. 

‘People online and in this room are willing to sacrifice this person’s love for their job for their culture war,’ she said at the meeting. 

Many parents and community members said the addition of a transgender teacher promoted diversity, and attacking the educator was only showing children to discriminate based on appearance and identity.  

‘We have a responsibility as a county to serve students of all diverse backgrounds and their families,’ Anna Crollman, who formerly taught in the district, said at the meeting, according to The Observer. 

However, some parents have formed a coalition called Middle Creek Parental Rights, which is led by Aaron Driver and his wife. 

The group is demanding the school release the hiring records for the transgender teacher and said parents should not have found out about the educator via social media. 

He said young students have come home with ‘big questions’ about gender identity.
