Macron Officially Signs France’s New Assisted Dying Law

French President Emmanuel Macron officially promulgated France’s controversial new assisted dying law on Wednesday morning.

The legislation, published through France’s Official Journal on August 19, contains 19 articles establishing the right to assisted dying for French nationals or long-term residents, under the terms and conditions established therein by the new law.

Le Monde reports the French government must now publish the necessary decrees for local healthcare workers can put the now-official law into practice.

To receive assisted dying in France, a French national or long-term resident must be of legal age, suffer from what the law describes as a “serious and incurable” illness in its terminal or advanced stage, and be capable of making an informed choice up until the last moment, among other conditions.

As per the law’s terms, an evaluation process conducted by a single physician, with input from other parties, will determine who is edible for assisted dying. A healthcare profesional may administer a lethal substance should a patient be physically unable to do so on their own.

The official promulgation of the assisted dying law comes after years of back-and-forth parliamentary debates and widespread condemnation from the French Catholic Church and other groups opposing to the practice. President Macron reiterated in July that the legalization of assisted dying in France was a “promise” of his administration.

France now other countries such as Belgium, Canada, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, and Uruguay in the list of countries that has legalized assisted dying, among others.

The Cruelty Of DEI

This past week ended with shock and sadness at the news that Jason Arday ended his own life in the midst of an investigation over his intellectual credibility. He was the vaunted education sociologist at Cambridge University, media darling and beneficiary of a big book contract, the toast of the town, and the subject of countless hagiographic profiles in media venues.

Plenty of people had whispered for years that he nowhere near qualified for all this celebration. He was not a genius. He was a fabulist. Saying it, however, was dangerous to one’s career. As a result, he kept getting away with it. His luck ran out when a U.S. academic pressed the issue. The tissue of lies collapsed.

The circumstances surrounding his absurd appointment to a full professorship with a named chair – the youngest black professor to enjoy such privilege – are hardly unique to him. When the full truth coming out about his plagiarism and autobiographical embellishments hit the international news, despair overwhelmed him in tragic ways.

It goes without saying that this young man had benefitted from what’s called DEI, which is the new term for what used to be called “affirmative action” but mutated into rampant privilege based on raw identity politics. Reverse racism doesn’t describe it fully. It is institutionalized discrimination that breeds deep resentment from those passed over and cultivates hidden contempt for those who ride this wave to unearned prestige and plaudits.

Something else has always bugged me about these systems that confer high titles and salaries on people solely on grounds of their race. It is deeply condescending and cruel to the point of being abusive of our fellow human beings. While it is easy to resent people who benefit from unearned exaltation, the plight of those who are its seeming beneficiaries also deserves some attention.

Years ago I had the opportunity to get to know a university administrator and his wife who occupied such a role. We met at a dinner party. He was the only black gentleman in the upper echelon of a major state university. His title was vice president for civil rights or some such made-up badge. It was a position invented to create the appearance of diversity. The position fell to him because he ticked all the boxes.

He was proud of his new position. But the more we spoke, the more he had doubts that he would express under his breath. He said that he has a large budget and staff but is rarely included as part of any serious planning team. He told me that he is mostly sent out on fundraising efforts to tell his story about how he grew up poor, overcame racism, and now has a prestigious position in university administration. But, he told me with frankness, he is tired of that story of himself.

We met up a few weeks later because I was curious to know more. He laid it all out to me. He came of age in an educational environment that was especially seeking blacks who performed above expectations which he always did. But instead of moving up a notch based on merit, he said he became aware early on that he was being accelerated and escalated beyond a level that was justified.

It became obvious in his college admissions, which pushed him into an institution far above that for which he was prepared. He found himself lost in a sea of high achievers. His privilege became a burden. He could not keep up in his classes and began to cut corners. It became obvious to him early that he was going to get away with this.

It seemed like the entire system was on his side. He tried to justify this to himself on grounds that every university has white kids on trust funds with legacy connections. They work less hard than a working-class kid who made it on his own so perhaps this is not unusual.

But, he said, he always felt burdened in multiple directions. It was sad enough that he grew up poor and black in the Deep South and was not expected to achieve. But it was far worse that he was given advancements beyond what he deserved when everyone knew it and considered him to be little more than a token of a compensatory system.

He described to me that choice he had to make. He could refuse the high grades, the advanced placements, the awards and attention that he knew were unmerited. But he was never sure what the point of that would be. Instead, he accepted them all as part of a game. He lost trust and respect in the system that he joined precisely because the system never really expected a high degree of performance from him.

He continued in this vein to tell me about graduate school and PhD studies which were more of the same. There was no point in this where he knew when to refuse, when to say no, when to call out the condescension and fakery of which he was presumably benefiting. In fact, he never saw himself as much of a beneficiary at all. He felt burdened by it all, and even robbed of what all the white kids faced: high expectations and the satisfaction of knowing that one climbed the ladder by virtue of his own efforts.

The story ends with his then appointment, which he knew to be fake at least on some level, though he believed that he truly did have something to contribute to university culture. It was that tag of having been marked by DEI that prevented it. He said he knew from childhood that in any endeavor in life, a title is easy but genuine respect from colleagues must be earned. He simply did not have that and did not know how to get it.

REVEALED: Anti-American Socialist Hasan Piker’s Brother Reportedly Held TOP-SECRET Security Clearance — Worked on Air Force One and Nuclear “Doomsday Plane” at Boeing

While far-left Twitch millionaire Hasan Piker built an enormous following attacking the United States, praising communist dictators, and declaring that America “deserved 9/11,” his younger brother was reportedly working on some of the nation’s most sensitive military aircraft.

Murat Piker, Hasan’s younger brother and frequent livestream companion, spent more than a decade working as an aerospace engineer at Boeing, according to a bombshell report from the Washington Free Beacon.

His projects reportedly included the new Air Force One, the E-6B Mercury nuclear command aircraft, airborne surveillance systems, military drones, satellites, and Boeing spacecraft.

According to Murat’s public LinkedIn profile, he worked for Boeing Defense & Space and helped lead the mechanical design and integration of next-generation satellite structures.

“I hold a Master’s in Aerospace Engineering from UCLA and possess active Security Clearances,” his profile states.

A person familiar with Murat’s employment history told the Free Beacon that he held a “top secret” security clearance.

That would have placed the brother of one of America’s loudest anti-American socialist influencers inside the heavily vetted world of classified defense contracting.

200,000 Fake AI ‘Victims’ Deployed To Scam-Bait Online Fraudsters

Australian tech firm Apate deploys a vast array of AI-bot characters worldwide that play the role of gullible scam victims to waste millions of hours of con artists’ time each month.

Hilariously, one of the company’s monthly performance metrics is how many times frustrated scammers swear at the idiot ‘victims’ who are playing dumb and stringing them along.

“I think we’re the only company in the world that is actually keeping as part of their KPIs the number of F-words that scammers are dropping at them,” Apate founder Dali Kaafar tells Magazine with a chuckle.

The company has a stable of almost 200,000 AI characters that are able to hold convincing phone conversations and to chat on social media and messaging platforms.

”I can tell you that we’re basically servicing, as we call them, hundreds of thousands of calls a day, and pretty much hundreds of thousands of conversations on the other channels,” he says.

Every hour of a con artist’s time they waste is another hour they’re not scamming a member of the public. In the six weeks up to the end of 2025, Apate’s bots engaged in 600,000 scam calls for a single telco called TPG in Australia.

“Essentially, we wasted more than five hundred days of scammers’ time,” he explains. “That roughly equates to somewhere around thirteen million dollars being saved.”

The bots’ other goal is to elicit actionable intelligence for banks and telcos to combat scam rings across Australia, Asia, Africa and the UK and Europe.

YIKES: Progressive Event Featuring James Talarico and Kamala Harris in Texas is Virtually EMPTY

A progressive event called ‘Democracy Summit 2026’ took place in Austin, Texas this week, but apparently, everyone on the left forgot to show up.

The day featured Zoom remarks from James Talarico, Kamala Harris, Mark Kelly and a host of other heavy hitter Democrats, but for some reason there was no audience for the show.

The media keeps repeating polling that shows James Talarico ahead in the Texas Senate race. Is it possible that the polling is just fake? He certainly can’t draw a crowd.

Townhall reported:

This Star-Studded Progressive Event Featuring James Talarico and Kamala Harris Was a Complete Flop

The Democrat Party’s youth movement appears to be in complete shambles as the DemocracySummit 2026, what was slated to be a “a powerful day of organizing, learning, and civic renewal,” had absolutely abysmal attendance in Austin, Texas.

Despite boasting a star-studded slate of progressive speakers like former Vice President Kamala Harris, Sens. Mark Kelly and Chris Murphy, Texas Senate candidate James Talarico, and Democratic National Committee Chair Ken Martin, the venue appeared to be completely empty.

Footage uploaded to social media by Turning Point executive Tyler Bowyer showed a near-empty room during remarks delivered by Democrat Mark Kelly, who many have pushed as a potential dark horse in the 2028 presidential primaries.

The Fourth Circuit Says Border Agents Can Search Your Phone By Hand, No Suspicion Required

The Fourth Circuit issued a disappointing opinion in U.S. v. Belmonte Cardozo, a case in which EFF filed an amicus brief, alongside the national ACLU, its Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia affiliates, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL).

We argued that electronic device searches at the border should require a warrant based on probable cause, but at minimum, regardless of whether an officer searches by hand or with forensic software that plugs into a device and downloads its entire contents for search, the same Fourth Amendment standard should apply to all device searches at the border.

Unfortunately, the court rejected that argument and ruled that a lower standard applies to manual searches, allowing the government to conduct extraordinarily invasive electronic device searches without any suspicion of wrongdoing, simply because the border officer chooses to search by hand rather than with a forensic tool.

The Border Search Exception Meets Your Phone

The Fourth Amendment requires that government searches of persons or property be reasonable, which usually means obtaining a warrant based on probable cause from a judge.

But a warrantless search can still be reasonable if it falls within an exception to the warrant requirement, including the exception that allows officers to search your belongings at the border. The border search exception allows warrantless searches of persons or property crossing the U.S. border, including the functional equivalent of the border such as international airports, given the government’s interests in controlling who and what may enter the country.

Historically, courts have categorized border searches of luggage, vehicles, and personal effects as “routine” and thus reasonable even if conducted without any suspicion that the traveler has engaged in wrongdoing; courts have also held that more invasive “nonroutine” searches, such as certain body searches and searches that damage property, require reasonable suspicion.

But a person’s privacy interests in the personal data on a phone or laptop are extraordinarily different than their limited privacy interests in the contents of their suitcase.

The Supreme Court addressed cell phone privacy in Riley v. California (2014), holding that the search-incident-to-arrest exception to the warrant requirement did not apply to cell phones, thereby generally requiring a warrant for phone searches, at least at the interior of the country. The court recognized the unprecedented privacy interests people have in their cell phones and how even brief manual searches can reveal the “sum of an individual’s private life,” including our political affiliations, religious beliefs, sexuality, and more. Accordingly, the Supreme Court held that because electronic device searches bear “little resemblance” to searches of bags or physical containers, they should be evaluated differently.

Following Riley, the Fourth Circuit considered two border device search cases involving forensic searches, in which border officers used external software to extract and analyze a device’s data.

In U.S. v. Kolsuz (2018), the Fourth Circuit held that a forensic search of a cell phone at the border “must be considered a nonroutine border search, requiring some measure of individualized suspicion” of a transnational offense, but the court declined to decide whether the standard is only reasonable suspicion or instead a probable cause warrant.

Then in U.S. v. Aigbekaen (2019), the Fourth Circuit held that a forensic device search at the border in support of a purely domestic law enforcement investigation requires a warrant. The court also reiterated the general Kolsuz rule for a forensic border-related device search: the “Government must have individualized suspicion of an offense that bears some nexus to the border search exception’s purposes of protecting national security, collecting duties, blocking the entry of unwanted persons, or disrupting efforts to export or import contraband.”

In Belmonte Cardozo, manual searches were finally before the court.

Lawless State: California Democrats Pass ‘Stop Nick Shirley Act’ – Journalists will Be Fined THOU$ANDS For Recording and Exposing Fraud Inside Immigration Support Service Providers

California Democrats on Wednesday passed AB 2624, dubbed the ‘Stop Nick Shirley Act’ by Republicans. The bill, introduced by Democrat Assemblywoman Mia Bonta, restricts the release of investigative videos exposing immigration support service providers.

Mia Bonta is married to California’s radical far-left Attorney General Rob Bonta.

The California Democrats got to work on AB 2624 earlier this year after investigative journalist Nick Shirley exposed rampant hospice and daycare fraud.

The bill will fine journalists (and regular citizens) a minimum of $4,000 for exposing potential fraud inside certain immigration support service providers.

The bill passed the California Senate on Tuesday and was sent back to the Assembly for final passage on Wednesday.

Governor Newsom is expected to sign the bill.

California Republican Assemblyman Carl DeMaio blasted the Democrats for passing Mia Bonta’s bill.

Trans Leader in ‘764’ Satanic Cult That Grooms Children for Sexual Abuse, Torture, Terrorism and Blood Rituals Sentenced to 77 Years in Prison

A transgender member of a violent satanic death cult network was sentenced to 77 years in federal prison Wednesday after pleading guilty to sexually exploiting and terrorizing underage girls around the world and grooming them into mutilating themselves and torturing animals to death.

Kyle William Spitze, 27, pleaded guilty in late 2024 to producing child sexual abuse material (CSAM), possessing and accessing with the intent to view CSAM and helping distribute animal torture videos, but he wasn’t sentenced until Wednesday by U.S. District Judge Thomas A. Varlan. The judge sentenced him to the entirety of what the prosecution had sought.

Spitze is a leader of the “HarmNation” group, which is part of the “764” satanic accelerationist cult-like online network.

The decentralized network of mostly teen boys and young men grooms its minor victims into producing child sex abuse material of themselves, mutilating their bodies, abusing or killing animals and, in some cases, committing suicide and/or killing others. They often target victims on online gaming platforms popular with children, such as Minecraft and Roblox.

The Premeditated and Staged Insanity of War

The first matter of great importance and honest understanding is that there is no such thing as a ‘defensive’ war. What should follow then, is that no war can ever be against evil, given that war is the epitome of evil. Actual justified self-defense by any individual or group of individuals, regardless of the size and scope of the mass, is warranted only to quell a threat, but any war waged by states or nations, is a war against all, and therefore not defensive, but offensive aggression against innocents. If national war could ever be accepted as legitimate, then the individual rulers and politicians seeking to wage war would fight only among themselves instead of murdering innocents and using the children of others as fodder for their warmongering and power-seeking efforts.

Wars are always based on lies and deception. War is born from a political angle, corporate and military industrial complex standpoint, profit-seeking, and power and control aspirations. There is nothing organic about war and those pursuing war. All wars are avoidable; no wars are based on benevolence. There are no heroes or ‘patriots’ in war, wars are never ‘won,’ but always lost where the masses are concerned, and wars are always planned in advance (as well as during and after) and staged in order to achieve nefarious agendas. All wars are heinous and evil because they are done strictly for money, power, and control of people, finance, and geopolitical positioning.

The vile, and immoral depravity of war is achieved by back-door deals among the major players, regardless of the false pretense of good against evil, or the ridiculous ‘enemy’ of the state notion. Since collusion is always present, orchestrated madness is the result. The so-called problems of war, and therefore the so-called ‘advantages’ of war, are intentionally structured to achieve certain outcomes that benefit only the super-rich shadow government, the ruling class and its political pawns, and its banking and corporate heads. A mostly secret hierarchy controls the entire system, which is vastly compartmentalized, so that this secret society of power is always protected and held harmless.

Wars, in large part certainly, have allowed for a massive concentration of wealth in the hands of the tiny few of less than 1% of the population. This is not due to ‘capitalism,’ as some would suggest, because the core of real capitalism is free markets, which do not exist. The U.S., while showing many aspects of socialism and communism, (forget democracies and republics as they are stepping stones to totalitarianism) is actually more a war-mongering fascist state. I think this is without question at this time in history. But that should not be a surprise, as we currently live in a coordinated international fascist system that is bent on becoming the ultimate fascist State; a world run by the very powerful few, who are mostly hidden oligarchs seeking international technocratic rule.

No Kidding… DOJ Says There’s ‘No Serious Dispute’ Fired FBI Chief Comey’s Seashell Post Could Be Read as Trump Threat

Of course, it was.

The Justice Department defended its criminal prosecution of former FBI Director James Comey in court filings Tuesday, arguing there is “no serious dispute” that his Instagram photo of seashells arranged to read “86 47” could be understood as a threat against President Donald Trump, according to reports from the Associated Press and The Hill.

Prosecutors in the Eastern District of North Carolina urged a judge not to dismiss the case, saying a jury — not the court — should decide whether the May 2025 post constituted a “true threat” against the president’s life, The Hill reported. Trump is the 47th president.

According to The Hill, the government’s filing stated:

“The issue presented is who should answer the ‘true threats’ question. … Comey seeks to take the question away from the jury before the government presents any evidence (or even allegations setting forth its theory of the case. No authority supports his attempt to shortcircuit these proceedings.”

The filings represent the government’s most detailed explanation to date of its indictment, the Associated Press reported. They came in response to defense motions seeking dismissal on grounds that include vindictive prosecution and that the post did not amount to a true threat.

The government also invoked Comey’s crime novel “FDR Drive,” released days after the post, to bolster its case, according to NBC News. The filings describe the book as centering on a “far-right wing media personality” whose foes are killed after “he singled out his enemies by name and suggested ‘something should be done’ about them.”
