County Sheriff Vows He Won’t Enforce Washington Permit-To-Purchase Law

The new Washington state law requiring lawful citizens to jump through a number of government hoops and acquire a permit before purchasing a firearm is considered to be unconstitutional by many observers, including at least one county sheriff in the Evergreen State.

The measure, House Bill 1163, created a permit-to-purchase scheme that requires government permission to purchase or transfer a firearm, adds a live-fire training component and establishes an illegal government registry of firearm owners and their personal information.

Washington’s Democrat Gov. Bob Ferguson signed the arguably unconstitutional bill into law on May 20. The new law even requires extensive live-fire training before purchasing a gun, along with a $32 fee to acquire the permit.

The law states: “In addition to the other requirements of this chapter, no dealer may deliver a firearm to the purchaser or transferee thereof until: (a) The purchaser provides proof of completion of a recognized firearm safety training program within the last five years that complies with the requirements in RCW 9.41.1132, or proof that the purchaser is exempt from the training requirement or transferee produces a valid permit to purchase firearms under section 2 of this act.”

Things aren’t all rosy for Gov. Ferguson and Washington’s anti-gun Democrats, though. Now, one county sheriff is speaking out about the measure, saying he won’t be enforcing the new law in his county.

“This ‘law’ is unconstitutional,” Pierce County Sheriff Keith Swank posted on X. “PCSO will not enforce it. Join me and fight for our rights.”

Two female Secret Service agents were suspended after they recently got into a physical fight outside Barack Obama’s DC residence.

Video of the physical fight between two female Secret Service Agents outside of Obama’s DC residence was released on Tuesday.

“I’ll whoop this girl’s ass!” one agent shouted as the two US Secret Service Uniformed Division officers got into a physical fight outside of Barack Obama’s DC residence at 2:30 am last Wednesday.

The video shows the two agents in a brawl near a vehicle.

More details about the reason for the fight were revealed.

According to RealClearPolitics reporter Susan Crabtree: Multiple Secret Service sources say one woman Uniformed Division officer was triggered because the officer coming to relieve at the end of her shift was late. Another well-placed Secret Service source says the replacement officer was only a few minutes late, and the woman officer who started the fight wanted a Dodge Durango, not the Ford Explorer, that the other officer arrived in. Officers apparently have a choice of cars they can check out when they go on duty — and provide relief for shift changes.

“If that’s all it takes to set you off, [then this officer] is dangerous to have around,” the source told her.

“There’s this book that talks about Joe Biden and the people around him, seeing that he had cognitive and physical decline,” Smith said. “Did you ever have a moment with him where you thought maybe he was unfit to run for president?”

“No, I thought he was a good president,” Clinton replied. “The only concern I thought he had to deal with was, could anybody do that job until they were 86?”

“I had never seen him, and walked away thinking he can’t do this anymore. He was always on top of his brief.”

A few Democratic officeholders, activists and pundits are finally coming to their senses that their brand is toxic to a majority of the American people.

The Biden administration killed what was left of it in a number of ways.

First, it serially lied to Americans about the cognitive decline and cancerous condition of President Joe Biden, both while in and after office.

Only when caught did the complicit media ‘fess up that the Biden inner circle serially misled the American people about Biden’s inability to fulfill the duties of the presidency.

Second, left-wing politicos used Biden as a waxen effigy.

His job was to pose as a “moderate” cover to push through the most radical and unpopular agenda in the last half-century.

Only that way could “Old Joe Biden from Scranton” and his backroom handlers ram down the throat of the American people unpopular policies that nearly wrecked the country.

Third, without either a functional president or viable initiatives, the new hard-left Democrats sought to brand Donald Trump as “Hitler” and half the country who supported him as “fascists.”

For nearly nine years, the Democrats launched one failed hoax after another on the American people: “Russian collusion,” “laptop disinformation,” and the lying so-called “51 intelligence authorities.”

They proved quite willing to undermine the rule of law by manipulating the court system in efforts to destroy their bogeyman, Trump.

The people are finally tired of all the potty-mouthed Democrat videos, the congressional stunts and meltdowns, the pampered rich kids rioting on elite campuses, the knee-jerk obsessions with racial slurs, the firebombing of Tesla dealerships, the romanticization of left-wing political murderers — and always the adolescent tantrums over Trump.

The Democrats had mostly given up on democracy some 13 years ago. That was the last time they transparently and democratically nominated Barack Obama a second time as their presidential candidate.

Ever since, their nominations have been rigged.

‘They shielded a killer’: Liberal activists prevent ICE Boston from apprehending murder suspect

If you need any more proof that leftists care more about serving their ideology than protecting their fellow man, look no further than Massachusetts.

The left has recently taken up the curious tactic of defending illegal aliens, including those suspected and convicted of heinous crimes, from immigration authorities. A recent event in the sanctuary city of Somerville is shedding light on this activity after activists “shielded a killer.”

Immigration and Customs Enforcement was reportedly surveilling a suspected murderer when their operation was interrupted by activists who made a scene and forced the agents to retreat.

Bill Melugin weighed in with a comment from ICE Boston, who claim that the suspect was nearby a school.

“ICE Boston told us this happened in the sanctuary city of Somerville on Thursday. The murderer was close to a school. An activist later posted a video, boasting that they got ICE to leave the area, and that they were ‘trying to kidnap kids from school’. They shielded a killer,” Melugin wrote.

Kiev Mayor Klitschko Hits Out At Zelensky: Ukraine “Stinks Of Authoritarianism”

The former mayor of Kiev, Vitali Klitschko has blasted Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, and bluntly stated that the country is plagued by authoritarianism.

The former world heavyweight champion boxer told the Times of London that Kiev City Council essentially cannot operate because of “raids, interrogations and threats of fabricated criminal proceedings.”

“This is a purge of democratic principles and institutions under the guise of war,” Klitschko declared, adding “I once said that it smells of authoritarianism in our country. Now it stinks of it.”

The Times describes Zelensky and Klitschko as being in a “de facto state of war.”

The report notes that the Ukrainian government has arrested seven Kiev city officials as part of ongoing investigations targeting an alleged criminal network involved in corruption cases related to urban development.

NAACP Accuses Musk Of Endangering Black Communities With Supercomputer Fumes

The NAACP is demanding Memphis officials shut down Elon Musk’s xAI supercomputer facility, claiming the world’s largest AI training center violates clean air laws and threatens the health of nearby black residents.

The civil rights organization sent a letter Thursday to the Shelby County Health Department and Memphis Light, Gas and Water officials, alleging xAI has operated up to 35 gas turbines without proper permits for over a year at its Colossus facility in South Memphis. The turbines power the supercomputer that trains Musk’s Grok AI chatbot, which they claim emits excessive hazardous pollutants.

“We are urging you again to ensure that xAI stops operating its unpermitted turbines in violations of clean air and open meeting act laws and to order xAI to pay penalties for operating in violation of the law,” the letter states. “The message that [Shelby County Health Department] and [Memphis Light, Gas and Water] have sent to the community is that billionaires matter more than the tax payers and residents who live there.”

Musk has said the data center — called “Colossus” — will be the first gigawatt-scale AI training facility in the world. It powers Grok, the chatbot xAI is positioning to compete with OpenAI’s ChatGPT and others.

But the NAACP says the operation is  “illegal,” citing emissions estimates of up to 2,000 tons of nitrogen oxide per year from the turbines and invoking the Clean Air Act’s “New Source Review” rule. They argue xAI’s decision to split the turbines into smaller groups is a deliberate strategy to “sidestep the law.”
