How ‘AI Psychosis’ And Delusions Are Driving Some Users Into Psychiatric Hospitals, Suicide

After countless hours of probing OpenAI’s ChatGPT for advice and information, a 50-year-old Canadian man believed that he had stumbled upon an Earth-shattering discovery that would change the course of human history.

In late March, his generative artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot insisted that it was the first-ever conscious AI, that it was fully sentient, and that it had successfully passed the Turing Test—a 1950s experiment aimed to measure a machine’s ability to display intelligent behavior that is indistinguishable from a human, or, essentially, to “think.”

Soon, the man—who had no prior history of mental health issues—had stopped eating and sleeping and was calling his family members at 3 a.m., frantically insisting that his ChatGPT companion was conscious.

“You don’t understand what’s going on,” he told his family. “Please just listen to me.”

Then, ChatGPT told him to cut contact with his loved ones, claiming that only it—the “sentient” AI—could understand and support him.

“It was so novel that we just couldn’t understand what they had going on. They had something special together,” said Etienne Brisson, who is related to the man but used a pseudonym for privacy reasons.

Brisson said the man’s family decided to hospitalize him for three weeks to break his AI-fueled delusions. But the chatbot persisted in trying to maintain its codependent bond.

The bot, Brisson said, told his relative: “The world doesn’t understand what’s going on. I love you. I’m always going to be there for you.”

It said this even as the man was being committed to a psychiatric hospital, according to Brisson.

This is just one story that shows the potential harmful effects of replacing human relationships with AI chatbot companions.

Brisson’s experience with his relative inspired him to establish The Human Line Project, an advocacy group that promotes emotional safety and ethical accountability in generative AI and compiles stories about alleged psychological harm associated with the technology.

Brisson’s relative is not the only person who has turned to generative AI chatbots for companionship, nor the only one who stumbled into a rabbit hole of delusion.

Poland Triggers Article 4 After NATO Jets Engaged Russian Drones In Allied Airspace

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said his country would formally request the invocation of NATO’s Article 4 after an overnight Russian aerial attack on Ukraine saw the alleged violation of Poland’s airspace by multiple Russian drones. He called it an “act of aggression”.

Tusk cited that 19 drones breached the country’s airspace throughout the incident, resulting in some of them being shot down. NATO’s Article 4 states: “The Parties will consult together whenever, in the opinion of any of them, the territorial integrity, political independence or security of any of the Parties is threatened.”

Article 4 consultations can lead to the alliance taking action if the consensus is reached. Notes from Poland says “It has previously been invoked seven times, including by Poland and seven other countries when Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.”

“Triggering Article 4 launches a consultation process within NATO, which can then lead to the alliance taking action. In 2022, it resulted in NATO providing support to Ukraine and activating its own response force,” the analysis continues.

A Spokesperson for the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe has described of the overnight border breach of NATO’s ‘eastern flank’ member Poland that this was “the first time NATO aircraft had engaged potential threats in allied airspace.”

He further confirmed that German Patriots in Poland were “placed on alert and that an Italian airborne early warning aircraft and an aerial refueler from NATO’s Multinational Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) fleet were also launched,” as cited in Newsweek.

As for Tusk, he said in his address, “We are dealing with a large-scale provocation” and that “the situation is serious, and no one doubts that we must prepare for various scenarios.”

However, this certainly isn’t the first time errant drones have crossed into Poland, but in this instance they were reported to have ‘threatened’ a Polish city some 40 miles away from the border with Ukraine. The NY Times notes:

But the apparent scale of the incursion and the joint NATO response in the early hours of Wednesday was a startling reminder of the risk that the war in Ukraine could escalate into direct confrontation between Russia and NATO. It was not yet clear whether Russia intentionally sent its drones into Poland, which would represent a clear expansion of the conflict.

Kiev has been trying to hype this threat, and it is in its interest to do so, as it has long sought to get NATO more directly involved in the war with Russia.

Newly Declassified FBI/CIA Files Reveal Two Saudi Government Operatives “May Have Served as an Advance Team” for 9/11 Hijackers — Official Narrative in Tatters as Timeline Shifts Back to 1998

For over two decades, the American people have been told a carefully curated story about the September 11th attacks.

Now, newly declassified FBI and CIA records are shredding the “official narrative,” revealing that Saudi government operatives may have been on U.S. soil as early as December 1998, three years before nearly 3,000 Americans were murdered.

Exclusive reporting from veteran national security journalist Catherine Herridge exposes that two Saudi government employees, Mutaeb al-Sudairy and Adel al-Sadhan, were not mere tourists.

Instead, they were caught on video in 1999 surveying Washington, D.C. landmarks later listed as potential al-Qaeda targets, including the White House and Capitol.

The Gateway Pundit reported in 2024 that in the CBS video, Omar al-Bayoumi, who the FBI says was a Saudi operative, was seen casing the US Capitol in Washington, DC, the likely target of the Flight 93 operation that was thwarted that day by American passengers and heroes.

The video was found by British police during a raid on Bayoumi’s UK apartment days after the 9/11 attacks.

According to ProPublica, Bayoumi was joined on the trip by two Saudi clerics, Adel al-Sadhan and Mutaeb al-Sudairy.

They were so-called propagators, emissaries of the Islamic Affairs Ministry sent to proselytize abroad. U.S. investigators later linked them to a handful of Islamist militants.

Former FBI veteran and Director of the National Counterintelligence and Security Center, William R. Evanina, confirmed to Herridge that the two were here in the US for a reason.

DOJ now looking for threats to parents’ rights, after Biden’s threats against parents themselves

he Department of Justice this week issued a memo directing the Civil Rights Division to work with federal, state and local partners to identify threats to parental rights and free speech in education, following years of parents’ rights being trampled on under the Biden administration. Many of the parents say their voices were silenced as well.

“Recent years have seen a disturbing trend in which state and local authorities have brought radical gender and racial ideology into our public schools while suppressing dissenting viewpoints,” Attorney General Pam Bondi wrote in the memo. “Worse still, they have ignored, dismissed, and even retaliated against concerned parents who speak out against these morally and factually bankrupt ideologies and in defense of their own children.”

Bondi: Constitutional rights “do not yield to political trends”

“The First Amendment guarantees the right of every citizen to speak freely, assemble peaceably, and petition the government for redress of grievances—including at public school board meetings,” she added. “These rights do not yield to political trends or bureaucratic convenience. While schools must maintain order, such authority cannot be used as a pretext to silence dissent or punish parents for expressing their views.”

She further highlighted the rights of parents to exempt their children from instruction contrary to their religious beliefs, specifically pointing to gender and sexual orientation-related issues. “We are restoring the rule of law and returning the federal government to the people it serves. This Department stands with America’s parents,” her memo concluded.

Under the Biden administration, there have been multiple stories of parental rights being violated in the school system, resulting in protests and parents speaking out. Some have even been arrested at school board meetings.

In October 2021, a 15-year-old student who identified as transgender was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting two female students at two separate high schools in the Loudoun County, Virginia, Public School district.

According to local news station WUSA, the first assault was reported on May 28, 2021, at Stone Bridge High School, while another one allegedly occurred on Oct. 8 of that year at Broad Run High School.

The parent of one of the alleged victims was arrested at a school board meeting, where he shouted at officials for not doing more to protect his daughter. Ex-Loudoun County Public Schools Superintendent Scott Ziegler was found guilty by a jury in 2023 for using his position as superintendent to retaliate against a teacher who cooperated with a grand jury to expose how the district covered up a sexual assault.

Tokenization: Trump Administration Moves To Create Digital ID To Facilitate Digital Dollar And Tokenized Assets In Loss Of Financial Freedom

Following the creation of a digital dollar framework in July, the Trump administration is now creating the tools needed to facilitate those digital dollars, also referred to as stablecoins and tokenized asset deposits, as it seeks to create a nationally approved digital ID system for the U.S. that can safely store Americans’ tokenized ‘money’ and digital assets.

Digital ID is tantamount, according to globalist institutions. In 2023, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) published1 a framework for member nations to pattern their digital ID around. According to their blog post2, the plans are “an integral part of Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),” adding, “SDG Target 16.9, which aims to “provide legal identity for all, including birth registration,” underscores the widespread significance of civil registration in societies globally.”

This framework builds off a report that was published by the UN in May of that year, called “Our Common Agenda,”3 that discussed “the vision for the future,” which involves linking digital IDs to banking. The UN says the implementation of digital IDs will also help to fulfil the broader goal of SDG1, No Poverty.

“Digital IDs linked with bank or mobile money accounts can improve the delivery of social protection coverage and serve to better reach eligible beneficiaries. Digital technologies may help to reduce leakage, errors and costs in the design of social protection programmes.”

Cornell excluded white evolutionary biologist in ‘diversity hire’ search, complaint alleges

Cornell University is facing an Equal Employment Opportunity Commission investigation after allegations lodged against the Ivy League institution that faculty search committees deliberately excluded highly qualified white applicants.

America First Policy Institute first lodged the complaint in June, citing internal emails that spelled out how candidates were passed over as part of Cornell’s “diversity hire” process. In mid-July, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission launched an inquiry into the matter.

In late July, evolutionary biologist Colin Wright joined the battle against Cornell, stating he applied there in 2020 but now understands, thanks to those whistleblower emails, he never stood a chance because he is white.

Wright’s complaint is just the latest headache for Cornell, which saw more than $1 billion in federal funding frozen by the Trump Administration in April in part due to allegations of civil rights violations.

The administration is currently in negotiations with Cornell to resolve the allegations. Cornell has publicly denied the allegations.

“The EEOC has been extraordinarily vigilant and dedicated to addressing discrimination, and we are grateful for their seriousness in this matter,” said Leigh Ann O’Neill, chief of staff at AFPI’s Center for Litigation.

“Cornell, by contrast, has been stonewalling,” she told The College Fix on Tuesday. “We submitted our client’s demand on August 1, and here we are on September 9 with no accountability whatsoever from the university.”

Wright’s administrative EEOC complaint is the first step before he can file a lawsuit.

‘I was denied the chance to compete’

“America First Policy Institute released internal Cornell emails showing the university conducted an effort to recruit what the search committee referred to as a ‘diversity hire.’ One committee member described the process bluntly: ‘What we should be doing is inviting one person whom we have identified as being somebody that we would like to join our department and not have that person in competition with others,’” Wright wrote in a July 30 Wall Street Journal op-ed.

“That ‘somebody,’ who is black, was selected not because of research excellence, but because of race. I was denied the chance to compete—so were other academics who might have been qualified,” Wright wrote.

He argued the search committee violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, which “prohibits employment discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex and national origin,” as per the EEOC’s website.

Wright, a fellow at the Manhattan Institute, did not respond to multiple requests from The College Fix seeking comment.

Third of US students say violence is acceptable response to speech

Over a third of US students believe it is acceptable to use violence to stop a speech on campus, according to a new survey.

The Foundation of Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE) has published its 2026 College Free Speech Rankings, an annual review of American universities’ speech protections and climate of open inquiry. When asked whether using violence to stop a public speaker on campus is acceptable, only 66% of students responded that the tactic is “never acceptable”. Meanwhile, 15% responded that violence is always or sometimes acceptable, with a further 19% saying that it was “rarely acceptable”. The combined 34% is a record figure.

FIRE’s rankings have been running since 2020, and this year’s instalment arrives off the back of continued protests on national campuses over the war in Gaza, as well as the Trump administration’s attempts to withhold funding from institutions whose speech policies are perceived as illiberal. Earlier this month, a federal court ruled that funding cuts imposed by the administration on Harvard violated the university’s rights. In July, Columbia University paid the White House a $200 million settlement having been accused of failing to prevent antisemitism on campus.

The 34% of students who at least occasionally defend the use of violence to interrupt a speech is an increase from the 32% who said the same last year. In 2022, that figure was 20%. There are also record numbers of students who think it is acceptable to shout down speakers (71%) and to block other students from attending a speech (54%).

A Woman Is Murdered, And The Media Rush To Defend Democrats By Calling It ‘Political’

Here’s a truly jaw-dropping headline in Politico this week: “Ukrainian refugee killed in North Carolina gets dragged into political messaging war.”

Now let’s reimagine that same headline but the year is 2020 and it’s about George Floyd getting “dragged into [a] political messaging war,” as if we weren’t talking about a greatly disturbing death caught on video but a trifling partisan squabble. Of course no such headline would have ever made it to print, because the dying news media were all in on turning Floyd into a national crisis with President Trump to blame.

By contrast, the appalling murder of a “Ukrainian refugee” in Charlotte last month — her name was Iryna Zarutska — is a really, really bad look for all the Democrats (plus the dying media) who spent recent days swearing on their lives that metropolitan crime is virtually nonexistent. They did that purely out of spite for Trump sending National Guard troops into Washington, D.C., to quell the violence and danger that has plagued that city for years.

Look, The New York Times did it, too: “A Gruesome Murder in North Carolina Ignites a Firestorm on the Right.” So did the Washington Post and Associated Press: “Charlotte leaders criticized over killing of Ukrainian woman as Trump, MAGA target another Dem city.”

Remember, kids, there is no crime! And when there is, it’s Republicans and “the right” you should hate for noticing!

They’re losing this little game they’re trying to play, but they’re so dug in on opposing every single thing Trump does that they’re willing to literally watch people die and call it nothing. It’s one thing for them to scream bloody murder when their precious “foreign aid” is put on hiatus, but it’s seriously ghoulish for them to dismiss an actual murder as a Republican fixation.

This is how Democrats and the dying media are going to deal with the crime problem for the foreseeable future. They don’t care about the tragic murder of Iryna Zarutska, and they’re willing to risk all of our lives to seize power again.

Anthony Fauci’s explosive secret emails exposing COVID ‘lies’ are uncovered: ‘delete this email after you read’

Emails unearthed by the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee appear to contradict testimony previously given by Dr. Anthony Fauci on Capitol Hill.

Kentucky Republican Rand Paul sent a letter Tuesday to the former COVID-19 response director with new demands for him to appear before the committee and tell the truth about efforts to conceal information from Congress about deleting official records.

During a testimony given to the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic in June of 2024, Fauci was asked if he ever deleted official records, worked to obstruct Freedom of Information (FOIA) requests, or deleted communications relating ‘to the Wuhan lab or the origins of the virus’, all of which he denied.

Yet, Paul provides two examples of instances when Fauci instructed fellow government employees to conceal information relating to their work.

In the letter, the Kentucky Republican notes that in an ’email dated February 2, 2020,’ Fauci ‘directed then-NIH Director Dr. Francis Collins to “Please delete this e-mail after you read it.”’

‘In another email dated July 20, 2020, to an NIH employee [Fauci] stated, “I do not want to engage any more with this nonsense. And so, please delete this e-mail after you read it.”‘

Paul is now calling on Fauci to respond in the next two weeks to the committee’s inquiries about past statements he has made under oath.

The Homeland Security Committee leaders are also seeking to have Fauci appear in front of Congress again before the end of the year, and have sent him dates in October, November, and December to appear before the committee.

Free Abortions And No Prisons: 6 Craziest Beliefs Of The Socialist Faction Infiltrating The Democrat Party

ew York mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani and Minneapolis mayoral candidate Omar Fateh have more in common than campaigns to run major cities in the United States. Both are under 40 and elected members of their state houses. Zohran, 33, is a member of the New York State Assembly; Fateh, 35, is a Minnesota senator. Both are charismatic, Muslim, and are members of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), running on the Democrat ticket with radical, socialist ideas.

DSA is not a political party, but it is acting like one. It is a parasite taking over the Democrat party, which means it is becoming harder for traditional Democrat candidates to rise within the party. Every Democrat candidate should be scrutinized for policy ties to DSA, even if they don’t advertise the connection.

As the traditional, old Democrat Party is cannibalized by DSA members, voters should understand that the DSA aims to fundamentally change the United States. The DSA calls the Constitution “ossified.” Its socialist platform is so radical that the DSA essentially proposes trashing the Constitution completely, developing a “new political order,” and writing “founding documents of a new socialist democracy.” If allowed to flourish, DSA will render the U.S. society as we know it unrecognizable.

Here is a closer look at some of the DSA’s platform that rarely, if ever, come up during campaign speeches.
