Scandalous past of Lake Tahoe mayor who resigned after stealing $300,000 from church while claiming she had depression

The former mayor of South Lake Tahoe who resigned after admitting to stealing $300,000 from a church was previously accused of defrauding an insurance company.

Tamara Wallace had served as mayor of the California city since December 2024, and for one year in 2022, but resigned on Monday after admitting to the theft.

The scandal-plagued mayor sent a confessional letter to several local news outlets, blaming her struggles with mental health for stealing from the Presbyterian Church over several years.

But Wallace also previously faced a lawsuit from Federal Insurance Company, now a subsidiary of insurance firm Chubb, for ‘theft of funds’ totaling over $100,000, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

The records reviewed by the outlet showed that Wallace agreed to repay the money after the alleged fraud was discovered in 2006, but then failed to repay the cash, prompting a second lawsuit from the firm in 2021.

The lawsuits reportedly did not give details over how Wallace allegedly stole from the insurance company, however the first lawsuit was dismissed months after it was filed.

The second lawsuit alleged that Wallace fraudulently received a payout of $122,193, but then failed to follow a payment plan that she had agreed to 15 years before when it was found to be erroneous.

The company said Wallace agreed to pay just $200-a-month until the balance was paid off, but she stopped paying around February 2017, despite an agreement that she would be liable for the full amount if she ceased her payments.

After Wallace was allegedly caught in 2006, she signed a promissory note acknowledging she owed the money and insisted she would pay it back, the company said.

At the time she stopped paying, Wallace still owed more than $110,000, the Chronicle reported.

In June 2022 Wallace was ordered by a judge to repay the company, and she signed a second promissory note agreeing to make $400 monthly payments, on top of a $2500 initial payment.

The emergence of the alleged insurance fraud adds another layer to the political scandal which forced her to leave office earlier this month.

Dana Tibbitts, a member of the El Dorado County Government Watch group, told the Chronicle after the scandal emerged, ‘the most important thing is that (the theft from the church) was not her first rodeo.

‘She has been down this road a long time… and we probably don’t know the half of it.’

A key psychiatric group censored our doctors for seeking to discuss the harm of child sex changes

You’d think child psychiatrists would want to help troubled children, and you’d be right. But the medical association that represents these doctors is suppressing open discussion of the best care for gender-distressed adolescents.

Respectful discourse among doctors regarding treatment of vulnerable children should trump emotions, personal opinions and politics.

Yet our foiled attempt to invite physician input on gender interventions suggests that ideology is winning the day.

At first, the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry approved a request by our organization, Do No Harm, to run a booth at its annual conference next week. But AACAP last month turned around and revoked that approval.

We simply wanted to give doctors a chance to discuss the dangers of transgender treatments for children, just as we did in May at the American Psychiatric Association conference.

These discussions are important because medical organizations like AACAP continue to trumpet support for gender interventions that mounting evidence shows are potentially harmful.

Meanwhile, the same organizations ignore the increasing number of patients who regret their transitions.

They offer no guidance on how to best treat those seeking to detransition, wean them off hormones or receive hormone replacement for surgically removed sex organs.

In fact, our health-care system treats patients who buck the gender-ideology narrative as nonexistent: The system has no diagnosis codes to allow for tracking and research of this poorly understood population.

They are a lost cohort with medical and psychological needs that have been shunned by the medical establishment.

And now we’ve been shunned too.

OOPS! Michigan’s SOS Jocelyn Benson’s Laughable 2024 Election Audit Is Worse Than Anyone Imagined—“Random” Sampling Conveniently Excluded State’s Most Crooked City—Why?

Imagine a health inspector conducting a “random” restaurant safety audit that somehow manages to skip McDonald’s and Burger King—the two busiest establishments in town, and imagine they had the longest history of violations. Then imagine the health inspector was inspecting his own work. Then the inspector announces that all restaurants passed with flying colors.

Would you trust that audit?

Yet this scenario mirrors what happened with Michigan’s 2024 post-election audit. Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson’s office announced in October 2025—ten months after the election—that Michigan’s ballot counting achieved 99.97% accuracy. Impressive. But their “random” sample conspicuously excluded Detroit and Troy, the largest cities in Michigan’s two most populous counties, despite Detroit’s notorious election administration challenges.

When randomness becomes suspiciously convenient, trust evaporates.

The audit took ten months to complete and publish—an extraordinary delay that national election security experts Susan Greenhalgh and Dr. David Jefferson called “inadequate” and lacking “transparency” in their August 2025 analysis of swing-state audits. Michigan’s 2020 audit required only five months. Why did 2024 take twice as long?

Delays matter.

Risk-limiting audits exist precisely to provide swift statistical assurance when public scrutiny peaks—immediately after elections. Publishing results ten months later, when news cycles have moved on and memories have faded, defeats the purpose. In a swing state with controversial election administration, such delays amplify rather than alleviate distrust.

But timing represents only one problem. The audit examined whether Michigan counts ballots accurately—it did—while ignoring whether those ballots came from eligible voters at legitimate addresses, whether signatures on 2,081,265 mail-in ballots matched registration records, and whether Michigan’s voter databases comply with federal maintenance requirements.

Democrat Fund Raising Machine in High Gear Ahead ‘No Kings Day’ Protests

Americans are being bombarded by unsolicited texts and emails, hoping to increase funding to cover expenses related to nationwide protests taking place in more than 100 major cities across the United States on Saturday. Emails and text messages offer links that direct recipients to left-wing fundraising websites such as ActBlue, Inequality Media, ActionNetwork.Org, and ProtectVoting.Org.

One unsolicited text message sent to random numbers nationwide purportedly comes directly from former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich under the Clinton Administration. That message reads “Robert Reich here. Are you going to attend a No Kings Day event on October 18? Let me know.” The message sends users to ActionNetwork.Org.

In fine print below an area where recipients can choose to confirm their attendance, a lengthy legal release of liability paragraph is placed that shields several leftwing organizations from liability for injury or death while in attendance of the “peaceful protests”.

The release of liability agreement reads in part;

PAID FOR AND AUTHORIZED BY INEQUALITY MEDIA CIVIC ACTION

By participating in this event, you agree to the following statements: I agree to release Inequality Media Civic Action, Inequality Media, Blue Future, Social Security Works, HollywoodDemocrats.com, other partners, and any of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, or consultants (the “Releasees”) from responsibility for any injury to my person or property occurring during or in connection to this event.

I hereby and forever release and discharge the Releasees from and against any and all costs, damages, and liability for death, injury to person, injury of damage to property, or other damages, costs, losses, or expenses of whatsoever nature, caused during or by reason of my participation in this event.

One widely distributed unsolicited email directs recipients to an ActBlue website that asks for monetary contributions to bus “college students and young people” to the protests. By donating $25, ActBlue will provide bagels and coffee to one bus load of protesters. Donations of $35 will cover signs and materials, $50 will fund pizza for another bus load, and $100 will cover the transportation of 60 “students” to a No Kings Day protest.

Breitbart Texas attended a No Kings Day protest in Austin, Texas, in June held at the Texas State Capitol building. During the observation, no college students were seen attending pizza parties or receiving bagels and coffee. Some in attendance brought their own helmets, gas masks, and shields that would later be useful when the protest spilled onto the streets of Austin.

Member of Satanic “764” Cult Charged After 13-Year-Old Girl Found Hanging in Parking Lot

An investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and German authorities led to charges Wednesday against a man accused of convincing a 13-year-old to hang herself in Washington State on behalf of a cult-like group, according to multiple reports.

German prosecutors charged an unnamed defendant dubbed “White Tiger” with hundreds of crimes, including the teen’s murder, for an alleged campaign of online abuse and sexual predation that victimized more than 30 children, CBS News reported. Authorities linked the man to “764,” a Satanic online movement that the FBI says is driven by a nihilistic hatred of society.

The teenage victim’s body was found in Gig Harbor, Washington, in January 2022 after she had hung herself with an extension cord on a black chain link fence in a grocery store parking lot, The Washington Post reported. After police sought the FBI’s help, investigators found that online predators associated with 764 allegedly groomed her into the suicide, which she livestreamed on Instagram via her phone. The individuals allegedly suggested in online messages that she take off her clothes because it would make the spectacle “hotter.”

The child victim told her parents she was a transgender boy at age ten and later became anorexic and depressed, FBI agents learned, according to The Washington Post. German prosecutors allege that “White Tiger” began building an online relationship with her while manipulating her and numerous other children into self-harm, starting when the suspect was 16, CBS News reported.

Threats against children from 764 have risen in recent years as the cultists lure vulnerable minors into private group chats and coax them into self-harm or degrading sexual acts, according to the FBI. Similar groups may go by different names but unite around 764’s methods, and adherents work together to evade bans from tech platforms, the Daily Caller News Foundation previously reported.

Investigators traced the digital footprint of “White Tiger” and allegedly found other victims on multiple social media platforms who he had convinced to cut themselves, as well as a photo of him cross-dressing in women’s clothes, according to The Washington Post. He allegedly shared the child abuse content with other followers of 764 to boost his reputation in the criminal network.

How the Military Exposed the Tools That Let Authorities Break Into Phones

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) really doesn’t want the public to know what it’s doing with Cellebrite devices, a company that helps law enforcement break into a locked phone. When it announced an $11 million contract with Cellebrite last month, ICE completely redacted the justification for the purchase.

The U.S. Marine Corps has now done the opposite. It published a justification to a public contracting platform, apparently by mistake, for a no-bid contract to continue putting Cellebrite’s UFED/InsEYEts system in the hands of military police. The document is marked “controlled unclassified information” with clear instructions not to distribute it publicly. UFED/InsEYEts “includes capabilities exclusive to Cellebrite and not available from any other company or vendor,” the document claims, before going on to list specific capabilities for breaking into specific devices.

Reason is posting the document below, with phone numbers redacted.

EPIC! Former Capitol Police Chief Steve Sund Confronts Pelosi on Her Lies About January 6th and Drops the Receipts

Earlier today, former Speaker Nancy Pelosi unloaded on Lindell TV reporter Alison Steinberg today on the steps of the US Capitol after she was confronted on her deadly actions on January 6, 2021.

Lindell TV reporter Alison Steinberg asked Pelosi why she refused to call in the National Guard on January 6th and Pelosi started screaming – “SHUT UP!”

Alison Steinberg:  “Congresswoman Pelosi, are you at all concerned that the January 6th Committee will find you liable for that? Are at all concerned about the January 6th Committee finding you liable for that day?  Why did you refuse the National Guard on January 6th?

Nancy Pelosi (obviously annoyed) “SHUT UP! I did not refuse the National Guard. The President didn’t send it. Why are you coming here with Republican talking points as if you are a serious journalist.

Alison Steinberg:  The American people want to know! We still have questions!

As reported earlier Pelosi was lying here about the National Guard.

Footage was released in June 2024 from the House Oversight Committee of Nancy Pelosi taking responsibility for the January 6, 2021, protests and rioting at the US Capitol.

Nancy Pelosi: “I take responsibility.”

And in June 2024, John Solomon at Just the News reported that Nancy Pelosi’s top security aides received warnings about a potential Capitol breach the night before the January 6 protests.

Pelosi could have called in the National Guard.  She decided not to.

January 6 was always a set-up.  And the evidence confirms that Pelosi was in on it.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, former Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Washington DC Mayor Muriel Bowser were both warned about the security situation prior to January 6th, and they both turned down National Guard troops at the US Capitol that day.

Pelosi and Mayor Muriel Bowser turned down thousands of National Guard troops at the Capitol on January 6 for political reasons.

Chris Wray’s FBI also refused to notify the Trump administration and his cabinet secretaries that they believed there could be violence like the mass protests at the Capitol that took place that day.

Ghislaine Maxwell’s Cushy Minimum-Security Stay Sparks Uproar

On a sweltering mid-August weekend, hundreds of women at Federal Prison Camp Bryan were locked in their dorms, missing family time and fresh air. All except one: Ghislaine Maxwell. The 63-year-old Jeffrey Epstein confidante, convicted for helping him abuse underage teens, held a quiet meeting with several visitors inside the prison chapel while the rest of the camp was on ice, according to a new report from the WSJ, citing people familiar with the matter.

Maxwell had landed at the minimum-security Texas facility less than three weeks earlier, after a sudden transfer from a higher-security prison in Tallahassee. That move alone raised eyebrows: Bureau of Prisons policy generally keeps sex offenders out of camps without a special waiver. Her defense has said she faced “serious danger” in Florida; the bureau won’t say how many waivers like this exist – or why Maxwell got one.

The ripple effects inside Bryan were immediate. Inmates say the usually relaxed camp tightened the screws: more frequent lockdowns, armed guards on site, and SORT tactical teams posted at the gates. Black tarps went back up on the fence line. Guards delivered meals to Maxwell’s room, escorted her for late-night workouts, and let her shower after others were confined. Meanwhile, resentment simmered. Some inmates called her a “chomo,” prison slang for child molester. The warden, sources said, warned that threats or media chatter would earn a fast ticket to a harsher joint.

Zelensky calls for ceasefire along current front lines

Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky has called for a ceasefire with Russia along the current front lines. He made the comment after US President Donald Trump issued a similar appeal on social media.

“We have to stop where we are. The president is right,” Zelensky told reporters in Washington, DC on Friday, adding that the sides could then hammer out the next steps toward a peace deal. “Yes, both sides have to stop,” Zelensky said.

Trump hosted Zelensky at the White House earlier that day, following a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday. He previously expressed frustration over the lack of progress in his efforts to mediate peace between Russia and Ukraine.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote that he urged Putin and Zelensky to “stop the killing, and make a DEAL!”

“Enough blood has been shed, with property lines being defined by War and Guts. They should stop where they are. Let both claim Victory, let History decide! No more shooting, no more Death, no more vast and unsustainable sums of money spent,” he said.

Group Founded By Stacey Abrams Finally Shuts Its Doors After Historic Campaign Finance Violations

The dubious voter rights group founded by political grifter Stacey Abrams is closing its doors after a run of corruption like no other in Georgia history.

The New Georgia Project, according to its active website, claimed the group is “building long-term power in Georgia every year.” But a statement from the far-left organization released on Thursday announced the power has been turned off for Abrams’ old campaign ATM.

“After more than a decade of advancing civic engagement, equity, and justice across Georgia, The New Georgia Project (NGP) and The New Georgia Project Action Fund  (NGPAF) will officially dissolve as organizations,” the board of directors wrote in the statement.

The New Georgia Project and its political action arm certainly advanced the riches of Democrat Abrams, who benefitted immensely from New Georgia’s generous contributions to her failed campaigns for governor.

‘Illegally Influencing Our Elections’

Earlier this year, the Georgia State Ethics Commission unanimously voted to fine New Georgia a whopping $300,000 after the liberal get-out-the-vote groups admitted raising millions for Abrams’ failed gubernatorial campaign — without registering as an independent political committee. That’s illegal under Georgia campaign finance law. And so is failing to disclose contributions and expenditures.

As The Federalist reported, the New Georgia Project and its super PAC partner admitted to 16 violations of the law, spending “unregulated and unknown monies” during the 2018 election cycle and on a 2019 failed public transportation referendum campaign. The groups, according to Ethics officials, failed to disclose north of $4.2 million, spending all but about $1 million of that to benefit the far-left candidate’s unsuccessful run for governor and the campaigns of fellow Democrats.

The New Georgia Project failed to report $646,000 in contributions and $173,000 in expenditures tied to a referendum campaign, according to David Emadi, executive secretary of the Georgia State Ethics Commission.

It was an unprecedented fine, the largest campaign finance penalty in the history of the Ethics Commission and, apparently nationally.

“This clearly represents the largest, most significant instance of an organization illegally influencing our elections in Georgia at a statewide level that we’ve ever uncovered,” Emadi said during the commission’s two-hour meeting in January.
