When Greenwich Patriots first started, a bunch of haters registered us for email updates from a host of Marxist and communist groups in Connecticut.

But rather than unsubscribing, we started paying attention.

Last week, we learned that the 4Cs SEIU 1973, a higher education union in Connecticut, submitted an Op Ed to People’s World, a newspaper described as a “megaphone for the Communist Party,” touting the passage of a resolution calling on the State of Connecticut to adopt an “arms embargo on Israel and divestment of Israeli genocide, apartheid, and illegal occupation of Palestine.”

This week, we learned all about what the Communist Party says is next after “No Kings 2.0” aka the on-going color revolution sponsored by a “who’s who in left-wing activism,” including “Tides, Soros, Rockefeller, Ford, Buffett, and Arabella,” and designed to create social destabilization.

One of the guests on “Good Morning Revolution” was New Haven’s very own Joelle Fishman, the Chair of the Connecticut Communist Party, the head of Communist Party USA PAC, a Commissioner on the City of New Haven Peace Commission (though she is identified as a “democrat” on the City’s website), and an executive board member for the Alliance of Retired Americans in Connecticut.

Venezuelan Narco Regime Under Nicolás Maduro Provided Over $20 Million to Fund Black Lives Matter, According to Washington Examiner

The Washington Examiner has uncovered deep connections between the Chavista regime in Venezuela and Black Lives Matter (BLM), an organization that presents itself as a defender of racial rights but, according to documented evidence, has served as a vehicle for foreign Marxist agendas.

It all began in late 2012, when Hugo Chávez, the eternal father of 21st-century socialism, ordered the delivery of at least $20 million in suitcases filled with cash to Opal Tometi, one of the three co-founders of BLM alongside Patrisse Cullors and Alicia Garza.

According to a former high-ranking Venezuelan official who defected and witnessed the meeting, the purpose was to «project the Bolivarian revolutionary project onto the streets of the United States,» meaning to sow chaos and division to erode American democracy from within.

This testimony does not come out of nowhere. The defector, close to Chávez’s inner circle, described a meeting in Caracas where Tometi arrived accompanied by three other African American women and actor Danny Glover, a known sympathizer of communist regimes like those in Cuba and Venezuela.

On his deathbed due to cancer, Chávez saw BLM as the perfect tool to export his anti-imperialist ideology.

Notably, BLM had already emerged in 2013, spurred by the Trayvon Martin case, but its ideological roots are steeped in declared Marxism: Cullors identifies as a «trained Marxist,» and Tometi has invoked figures like Assata Shakur, a convicted fugitive for murder living in exile in Cuba.

Aide to Mass Gov. Healey charged in cocaine trafficking scheme allegedly linked to state office building

An aide to Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healy was arrested for cocaine trafficking after investigators intercepted packages with the drug slated to be delivered to a state office building where he worked, prosecutors said. 

LaMar Cook, 45, of Springfield, pleaded not guilty during his arraignment Wednesday and was ordered held without bail pending a court hearing, Boston.com reported. 

In addition to the drug charge, Cook is also charged with illegally owning a firearm and ammunition. 

Cook served as deputy director of Healey’s Western Massachusetts office, according to an archived staff directory. A spokesperson for the governor’s office said state officials fired Cook “effectively immediately” after learning of his arrest Tuesday, Boston.com reported. 

“The conduct that occurred here is unacceptable and represents a major breach of the public trust,” the spokesperson said. “This criminal investigation is ongoing, and our administration will work with law enforcement to assist them in their work.”

‘What the F*** Did You Just Do?’ New Book Recounts Obama’s Stunned Call to Pelosi After She Endorsed Harris

Democrats’ policy positions on everything from abortion to transgender ideology spring from pure evil.

It would make sense, therefore, if God had supernaturally rendered their leaders ineffective, incoherent, and ridiculous.

That prospect, of course, offers one explanation for a 2024 incident involving former President Barack Obama and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, as detailed in the new book “Retribution: Donald Trump and the Campaign That Changed America,” by Jonathan Karl of ABC News.

The U.K.’s Daily Mail obtained an advance copy of the book, scheduled for publication Tuesday.

According to a “Pelosi confidant” who spoke with Karl, an outraged Obama called the former House Speaker shortly after her endorsement of then-Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic Party’s 2024 presidential nominee. Under pressure following a catastrophic debate performance on June 27, then-President Joe Biden had withdrawn from the race.

“The Obamas were not happy,” the Pelosi confidant said, adding that Obama’s message to the former Speaker amounted to, essentially, “‘What the f*** did you just do?’”

Rather than hand the nomination to Harris, Obama preferred a “process” to select the Democrat nominee.

“That train has left the station,” Pelosi replied.

The former Speaker’s endorsement of Harris stunned Obama because, per Karl and according to the Mail, Pelosi had maintained “regular communication” with the 44th president. Moreover, the two powerful Democrats “agreed Harris should not simply be handed the nomination unchallenged.”

One raises one’s eyebrows. How did Pelosi and Obama fail so miserably in their “communication”?

Indeed, for more than a year the entire Democratic leadership has appeared incapable of getting on the same page.

Biden, for instance, reportedly harbored resentment over what he regarded as Obama’s treachery.

Meanwhile, in a book published last month, Harris burned bridges by blaming other Democrats for her loss to Trump.

Even former White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre got in on the act. In her new book, Jean-Pierre explained, among other things, why she left the Democratic Party altogether.

It’s not your fault. Our country’s entire theory of justice is predicated on proportional penalties — that the “punishment fits the crime.” It’s derived from the Biblical edict of “an eye for an eye” and has been drilled into your head since birth.

So, no wonder it seems weird and counterintuitive when two people commit the same “crime,” and the first guy’s career is absolutely, completely destroyed — his reputation is annihilated and he never works in his field again — but the second guy shakes it off like a bad case of fleas.

You’ve seen it happen repeatedly in music, Hollywood, sports, news/entertainment, and business… but especially in politics. (Just off the top of your head, you’ve probably got half a dozen examples.) 

That’s because our legal system is based on the “punishment fits the crime,” but the court of public opinion is based on something else. And it’s less about the “crime” and more about your personal brand.

More specifically, how the “crime” relates to your brand identity.

Why did Bill Clinton’s approval rating increase during the Monica Lewinsky scandal? Part of the reason was a strong economy. And in a battle of personalities, Bill Clinton was far more likable (and charismatic) than his GOP adversary, Newt Gingrich. 

Those were two important factors.

But the biggest reason — by far — was Bill Clinton’s brand identity: Boinking an intern sure sounded like something Slick Willy would do, so when his DNA was found on Monica’s dress, it didn’t really change how we thought about him.

When Pete Rose died, I wrote that his biggest PR mistake was admitting to gambling. Even though it was 100% obvious he was guilty! Before, his brand identity was based on being a scrappy, hard-working, elbow-throwing, record-setting baseball outcast. 

He was the perfect American antihero.

But then he admitted to gambling in 2004, and his image changed in an instant. He was a liar — a desperate, degenerate liar!

And near-immediately, support for his inclusion in Cooperstown fell off a cliff. The passion of his supporters vanished overnight, and Pete Rose died without ever reaching the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Different brand identities have different vulnerabilities.

Which brings us to Zohran Mamdani, the next mayor of New York City. The ex-governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo — an experienced, savvy politician in his own right — has been hammering Mamdani as hard as he can, focusing on his far-left positions, support of radical Islam, and lack of experience.

Obama Scolded Voters for Not Supporting the Black Woman in 2024, Now He’s Telling Voters to Ignore the Black Woman Candidate in Virginia and Support the White One

Anyone who follows politics will recall that during the 2024 election, former President Obama campaigned for Kamala Harris and scolded voters, particularly black men, for not showing enough support for Kamala Harris.

Now a year later, Obama is campaigning for the white woman candidate, Abigail Spanberger, in the Virginia governor race. Winsome Earle-Sears, the Republican in the race, is a black woman and does not have the support of Obama.

Isn’t it funny how that works? It’s almost as if what really matters to Obama is party ID, and not the race of the candidate – unless it’s politically useful.

People have noticed this.

Democrats spiral in Virginia as Obama is slammed for ‘campaigning against black woman’

Virginia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Abigail Spanberger was considered a runaway favorite for the state’s top office, but recent scandals and a lack of a clear identity for her party are keeping alive the chances of her Republican rival.

In the latest sign of peril, Barack Obama has been parachuted in and will speak alongside Spanberger next Saturday as polls show Republican candidate Winsome Earle-Sears gaining ground.

The former president’s decision to enter the fray has been criticized as hypocritical after he bluntly rebuked black men for not supporting Kamala Harris during the most recent general election campaign.

‘I watched Obama sit there and chastise black men saying, y’all don’t want to support this woman, but at the same time turn around, go to Virginia and campaign against a real natural black woman,’ said one local on TikTok.

The NAACP, which also cares more about Democrats than it does about black people, recently hosted an event and invited Abigail Spanberger, not Winsome Sears. Isn’t that odd?

Food Stamps To Be Paused For 42 Million Americans: What To Know…

Food stamps are set to be paused on Nov. 1 because of the government shutdown.

Some 42 million Americans will not receive benefits through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) until Congress approves new funding, according to federal officials, although some states have taken steps to intervene.

Congress made money available for SNAP for October before failing to reach a new government funding agreement, which resulted in the government shutting down on Oct. 1, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) said in a letter to regional and state SNAP officials.

There is not enough money to pay full SNAP benefits to the approximately 42 million SNAP recipients in November, the USDA says.

“Bottom line, the well has run dry,” the USDA said on Oct. 25.

“At this time, there will be no benefits issued November 01.”

As Ryan McMaken details below, via The Mises Institute, according to the Treasury Department’s report on federal spending for fiscal year 2025, total spending on food stamps—also known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)—was $106 billion for the twelve-month period ending September 30. Even in our post-covid age of runaway monetary inflation, 106 billion dollars is still, as they say, “real money,” and SNAP spending doesn’t even include other food-subsidy programs like WIC and school lunch programs.  

In spite of much talk about how the Trump administration is supposedly defunding these programs, they’re not going anywhere. For the calendar year of 2025, the US is on pace to see an increase of six to seven billion dollars over 2024’s SNAP spending total of $99.7 billion. This only continues the longer term upward trend in food-stamp spending. 

Indeed, since the Great Recession (i.e., 2008), when total SNAP spending was $52 billion, total spending on the program has doubled—even when measured in inflation-adjusted dollars.

New Hampshire Man LOSES Right to Vote After Pleading Guilty to Repeatedly Stealing and Damaging Trump Yard Signs

A New Hampshire man has lost his right to vote after repeatedly vandalizing and stealing Trump campaign signs from his neighbor’s property, another glaring example of left-wing intolerance toward free speech and political expression.

According to the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office, Nick Moorhead, 55, of Northfield, pleaded guilty in Franklin District Court to “unlawfully removing political signs.”

Moorhead admitted to targeting a local resident’s Trump sign multiple times, an act that clearly wasn’t a one-off impulse but a pattern of politically motivated harassment, Boston 25 News.

Court documents reveal that Moorhead was caught on camera on August 27 and 28, 2024, removing the Trump sign from the homeowner’s yard and damaging it.

The homeowner, tired of the repeated vandalism, moved the sign closer to the house, only for Moorhead to return on September 15, kick the sign, and flip off one of the residents in a brazen act of hostility.

Police arrested Moorhead on October 19, 2024, following an investigation.

The court fined him $310, a $250 fine plus a $60 penalty assessment.

However, the most striking consequence came under the New Hampshire Constitution, which stripped convicted individuals of their right to vote unless the state Supreme Court restored it.

For a man so eager to silence others’ political voices, that’s poetic justice.

The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office reminded the public that anyone who believes political signs have been unlawfully removed should report it immediately to local law enforcement or the Election Law Unit.

Seattle’s socialist mayoral candidate wants leftist media outlets to be state-funded

Seattle’s socialist mayoral candidate Katie Wilson, who has been nicknamed the “Mini Mamdani,” has raised concerns among critics about conflicts of interest and government overreach, this time over her plan to tax residents to subsidize media outlets that support her campaign and employ her.

In a recent interview on the Mostly Economics podcast, Wilson promoted a proposal she calls “News Notes”: a taxpayer-funded voucher program that would give every Seattle resident $100 to donate to local media outlets, to save failing outlets from the free market. To pay for it, she floated new property taxes, a capital gains tax, or a digital ad tax.

But the outlets she specifically named as beneficiaries, The Urbanist, Publicola, and South Seattle Emerald, are the same ones that routinely promote her political agenda. Many of them have endorsed her. Some have even paid her.

Wilson lists income from The Stranger, The Urbanist, and Publicola in her PDC filings, each below $30,000 annually, while all three also endorse her for mayor. These aren’t neutral newspapers. They’re progressive advocacy media that cheerlead for every new tax, anti-police measure, and socialist policy put forward in Seattle.

ARREST JACK SMITH NOW! Latest Arctic Frost List Confirms Smith and Democrats Were Aiming to Wipe MAGA Off the Map and Ultimately to Jail All MAGA Leaders — FULL LIST INCLUDED

The Arctic Frost investigation was a codenamed FBI probe launched in April 2022 under the Biden administration. Originally, we were told it was an investigation into the legitimate alternative electors from the 2020 election.

On Tuesday, we found out that the investigation was much more than that. It now appears that Arctic Frost, launched by Jack Smith and the Biden regime, was an attempt to wipe out MAGA and to persecute many of the top MAGA personalities.

As The Gateway Pundit reported on Tuesday, the Republican-led House Judiciary Committee released new Arctic Frost documents, which revealed the investigation was much more widespread than previously thought.

More than 100 individuals were under investigation, including Steven Bannon, Rudy Giuliani, Ed Martin, Dr. Peter Navarro, and others, by Jack Smith and the Biden regime.

Per Tuesday’s GOP-led Judiciary Committee:

  •  Arctic Frost investigators utilized FBI field offices from across the country to conduct its investigation.
  • Arctic Frost investigators requested $16,600 to travel to conduct more than 40 interviews.
  • 109 individuals, including Peter Navarro, Dan Scavino, Jeff Rosen, and Ed Martin, were under investigation.

What was the crime? There was no crime. Smith and the Biden team were attempting to eradicate MAGA from the country by eliminating over 100 of its state and national leaders.

The House Judiciary Committee PDF appears to be a heavily redacted document.

The document totals 198 pages.
