With Trump Gone, The Media No Longer Cares About ‘Kids In Cages’

A new administration and a new party in power has had a significant effect on how the media covers family separations at the U.S.-Mexico border.

Now that President Donald Trump is out of office, the media won’t even use the phrase “kids in cages” as they did during the Trump years, when the topic of migrant children at the border was treated as the greatest human rights issue of a generation (even though China is actually imprisoning people for slave labor).

Children who illegally cross the border with their parents but aren’t given immediate citizenship or a comfy hotel room – or kept with their parents in prison – have lost their victimhood status under President Joe Biden.

Now, instead of “kids in cages,” the media is referring to them as “migrant children” or “migrant families.”

The Washington Free Beacon’s Thaleigha Rampersad put together a supercut of the difference, showing the media’s repeated use of the phrase “kids in cages” when Trump was president versus the new, softer phrases, “migrant children” or “migrant families.”

DC Militarization Costs Taxpayers Nearly Half A Billion Dollars

U.S. military officials revealed the staggering figure on February 4th.

The deployments – which even saw National Guardsmen be relegated to sleeping in parking garages – was part of the Democratic Party ploy to capitalize on the events of January 6th and ensure no one could make it near Joe Biden’s inauguration. Democrats on Capitol Hill were afraid Biden and Harris would attract such small crowds they decided to close the National Mall in its entirety instead, citing COVID and national security concerns.

As reported by the Associated Press:

“The deployment brought troops in from all 50 states and four territories as law enforcement agencies tried to lock down the Capitol for the inauguration of the President Joe Biden. Thousands of Guard members poured into the nation’s capital and were stationed across the city to block traffic and protect lawmakers and landmarks. Officials said the nearly $500 million includes the costs of transporting Guard troops from their states to Washington, their salaries and benefits, as well as housing and other essentials.”

The sum is expected to cover the National Guard’s cost through mid-March, as 5,000 to 7,000 troops are expected to stay in the area until then.

From January 7th to March 14th, the expected end date of the guard’s deployment, the cost averages out to roughly $7,500,000 per day.

Walgreens, CVS beef up protections against threat of ‘bot’ attacks on vaccine program

For over a decade, the retail industry has battled so-called “scalper bots,” programmed to cut digital lines and snap up limited-supply products within milliseconds of their release, that are resold at significant mark-ups.

The coronavirus pandemic exacerbated the problem because the boom in online shopping expanded scalpers’ sights to new categories from fitness equipment to essential goods like toilet paper and detergents. In Britain, scalpers using bots have also snatched online grocery delivery slots reserved for at-risk senior citizens.

The Joe Biden administration said this week that it will soon start distributing about 1 million doses per week directly to about 6,500 pharmacies in the first phase of a federal program that aims to expand access to vaccines.

Security companies that track this activity now warn that U.S. retailers and pharmacies enlisted to play a big role in COVID-19 vaccine dissemination could be the next target of bot attacks as they begin distributing as early as Feb. 11.

These fears stem from problems retailers have faced this past holiday shopping season, when the latest PlayStation and Microsoft Xbox consoles were nearly impossible to find because scalpers attacked major retailers.

TIME Claims a Secret Cabal Manipulated the 2020 Election to Stop Trump, and People Have Questions

This seems like the sort of thing you don’t say out loud but, like a serial killer, many in politics are just too absorbed in their own egos to not try to take credit for their deeds.

TIME wrote a very interesting piece making some very alarming claims. Namely, that a secret cabal banded together across the country to stop Donald Trump from winning re-election. This included everything from manipulating media coverage to getting election laws changed, at least according to TIME’s account.

Suddenly Opposing the CDC and Ignoring Science Is Not a Crisis When it Is the Biden Administration

It was a common theme heard throughout 2020 — Donald Trump would dispute recommendations from the Center for Disease Control, and in the course of ‘’ignoring science’’ put lives at risk. As far back as February Trump was said to have discounted advice from the CDC regarding flying American citizens back from Asia. Frequently we were told how the administration would discard recommendations from the agency on matters such as initial quarantine ordersreopening the economy, how he would listen to administration officials first, and refused to follow guidance on opening schools and churches

According to Bloomberg News, ‘’Ordinarily, presidents listen to experts because it serves their own political interests. That’s not happening this time.’’ These issues, of course, caused consternation and accusations he was ignoring science, elevating things to scandal levels, we were told. It then becomes rather telling how changing the curtains in the oval office makes these exact same actions far less serious and grave for the nation.

For two consecutive days this week we have seen bright and shiny new White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki at the podium during her daily press briefings contradicting the CDC, directly. While her words were reported what is notable is the distinct lack of wailing to be heard from the press corps.
