The history of the secret code that printers put on all your documents

In The Lives of Others, a movie about the radicalization of a playwright living under Communist rule in East Germany, a key plot point revolves around identifying what type of typewriter was used to write an article by an anonymous critic of the government. Every typewriter in East Germany is registered, so an editor smuggles in a foreign one that prints in red ink. The authorities become obsessed with hunting for the red ink typewriter; if they can find the typewriter, they will find their man.

Surprisingly, this situation isn’t all that different from an incident that was in the news last week. A once secret code, invisible to the naked eye, may have been one of the markers used to identify and eventually arrest NSA leaker Reality Winner. Security researchers have theorized that Winner’s downfall could have been a small set of dots in the corner of the Top Secret analysis she printed and mailed to online news outlet The Intercept.

Taliban Seizing Personal Weapons Because Afghans ‘Can Now Feel Safe’

Afghans in Kabul on Sunday, claiming civilians “can now feel safe” and no longer need the firearms because the terrorists had taken over the country.

Taliban officials declared victory and the restoration of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan after occupying the presidential palace in Kabul on Sunday.

Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar appeared in a Twitter video alongside other Taliban leaders, in which he pronounced victory in the battle for Afghanistan.

“We have achieved an unexpected victory. Now is the time to test, to show how we serve our people and ensure their future in the best possible way,” he reportedly said.

The Guardian reports that Baradar is the Taliban’s “political chief and it’s most public face.” He was released from “a Pakistani jail on the request of the U.S. less than three years ago.”

Within hours of Barader’s announcement, Reuters reported, citing a Taliban official, that the group had begun confiscating weapons in the capital. The outlet quoted him as saying, “We understand people kept weapons for personal safety. They can now feel safe. We are not here to harm innocent civilians.”

They noted MOBY Group media company’s Saad Mohseni, a Kabul resident, tweeted that “Taliban soldiers had come to his company compound to enquire [sic] about the weapons kept by his security team.”The Moby Group is a news and entertainment provider operating in Africa, the Middle East, and South and Central Asia. Moby serves “over 300 million people through its activities in broadcasting, digital and online, production, strategic communications, publishing, music, sports, and research.”

Arizona Wants to Bring Back Zyklon B for Gas Chamber Executions

Arizona has “refurbished” a prison’s gas chamber and purchased the ingredients necessary to create the same deadly chemical compound used by Nazis during the Holocaust.

The state’s Department of Corrections has bought more than $2,000 worth of ingredients to make hydrogen cyanide gas, according to documents obtained and published by The Guardian. That same type of gas was used by Nazis to murder more than one million prisoners at the Auschwitz-Birkenau, and other death camps during World War II, including Jews, Poles, Roma, and prisoners of war. When it was used during WWII, the gas was known by the trade name “Zyklon B.”

Arizona has bought sodium hydroxide pellets and sulfuric acid, which produce the lethal gas. The Department of Corrections also spent $1,530 on a solid brick of poisonous potassium cyanide in December.

Arizona State Prison Complex, Florence, where the state’s gas chamber is located, has been out of commission for years after a botched execution in 1999 left a prisoner suffocating for 18 minutes before he finally died. The chamber was originally built in 1949.

FBI “Finds Scant Evidence” Of Jan 6 Insurrection Plot, Killing Off Another Anti-Trump Media Hoax.

Another widely peddled media hoax has been shot to pieces as Reuters reveals that the FBI has “scant evidence” that there was any forward planning to overthrow the U.S. government on January 6th.

The news confirms The National Pulse’s reporting from January 11th, and raises questions about the government’s power grab and abuse of authority using January 6th as pretext.

Reuters reported Friday morning:

The FBI has found scant evidence that the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol was the result of an organized plot to overturn the presidential election result, according to four current and former law enforcement officials.

Though federal officials have arrested more than 570 alleged participants, the FBI at this point believes the violence was not centrally coordinated by far-right groups or prominent supporters of then-President Donald Trump, according to the sources, who have been either directly involved in or briefed regularly on the wide-ranging investigations.

“Ninety to ninety-five percent of these are one-off cases,” said a former senior law enforcement official with knowledge of the investigation. “Then you have five percent, maybe, of these militia groups that were more closely organized. But there was no grand scheme with Roger Stone and Alex Jones and all of these people to storm the Capitol and take hostages.”

The report also vindicates President Trump and his team, and clarifies that there is “no evidence that the groups had serious plans,” to overthrow the U.S. government or commit anything like an actual “insurrection.”

Govt. Says Alleged Capitol Rioter Violated Terms of Release by Watching Mike Lindell’s Election Conspiracy Symposium

Douglas Jensen stands accused of leading a mob that chased and hectored Capitol Police Officer Eugene Goodman inside in the Capitol on January 6. Jensen was wearing a Q-Anon shirt and had a knife in his pocket at the time.

In July, a federal judge granted Jensen pretrial release over the government’s objection. That judge imposed certain conditions on Jensen, one of which was that he could not use devices with access to the internet.

But according to a prosecutors’ filing that was flagged by Buzzfeed on Thursday night, Jensen violated that condition a month after his release.

“A mere thirty days after his release from the D.C. Jail,” said the filing, “defendant Douglas Jensen was found alone, in his garage, using a WiFi-connected iPhone to stream news from Rumble.” As the document notes, Rumble is an alternative to YouTube that is popular among some conservatives.

During a check on Jensen, a court officer arrived at the defendant’s residence and found him watching the video streaming service on his phone. “Jensen eventually admitted to his Pretrial Services Officer that in the previous week, he had spent two days watching Mike Lindell’s Cyber Symposium regarding the recount of the presidential election,” the filing said.

Facebook Caves, Bans Accounts Identified by White House

Facebook has taken action against the so-called “disinformation dozen,” a set of accounts publicly identified by the Biden White House as responsible for the majority of alleged coronavirus “disinformation” on the platform.

The Biden administration identified the accounts last month and publicly urged Facebook to take action against them. It appears Facebook has now succumbed to that pressure.

In a statement to CNN, a White House spokesperson said the administration would continue to push for more censorship from social media platforms, and continued to criticize Facebook.

“In the middle of a pandemic, being honest and transparent about the work that needs to be done to protect public health is absolutely vital, but Facebook still refuses to be straightforward about how much misinformation is circulating — and being actively promoted — on their platform,” said the spokesperson.

“It’s on everyone to get this right so we can make sure the American people are getting accurate information to protect the health of themselves and their loved ones — which is why the Administration will continue to push leaders, media outlets, and leading sources of information like Facebook to meet those basic expectations.”

Despite criticizing Facebook, the White House admitted last month that it is in regular contact with the platform to identify and remove posts.

Woke Inc. Is Coming For Our Babies: How Children’s Brands Are Pushing Critical Race Theory

Toy giant Hasbro is the most recent household name to use their millions to push Critical Race Theory and the progressive agenda. Last month, Project Veritas reported a whistleblower from the company that outlined a disturbing game plan to bring the controversial and racest teaching to children as young as Kindergarten and preschool, with the help of their toys.

Package engineer David Johnson told Project Veritas President James O’Keefe during an interview “They want to introduce children into racial bias at an early age before they’re really able to understand what race and racism is.” In pursuit of their goal, Hasbro has contracted with Conscious Kids, an education, research, and policy organization that programs tiny tots on how to “disrupt racism.”

Conscious Kids Co-Founder Katie Ishizuk can be seen in a leaked video telling Hasbro employees: “at three to six months, babies are beginning to notice and already express preference by race,” and that “[Babies] as young as two are already using race to reason about people’s behaviors.” Ishizuk claimed that daycares and playgrounds are full of racist behaviors, evidenced by how tykes choose or exclude playmates.

While Hasbro isn’t the first company to impact the way our kids think, they might be the most persistent. A few months ago, the toy company was at the center of a controversy when it attempted to rebrand “Mr. Potato Head” by stripping him of his “Mr.” status. After a massive public outcry, the company decided not to reinvent the beloved toy.

Mr. Potato Head notwithstanding, the threat of woke culture surrounding children is still genuine, however. Parents who hope to bring their children the same experiences they enjoyed as a child are forced to either comply with the progressive “woke” programming coming at them from every side or to avoid many major children’s entertainment companies altogether.

A few short months after the death of George Floyd, PBS’s Sesame Street and The Cat in the Hat both released tools to help tiny tykes tackle white privilege. PBS’ Focusing on Young Learners included “Tools for Anti-Racist Teaching,” featuring Dr. Aisha White, who is also the founder of P.R.I.D.E. (which stands for Positive Racial Identity Development In Early Education). White teaches parents that kids are never too young to focus on the race of their playmates.

“Yeah, I think the first thing we need to do is to acknowledge and understand the inhumanity that has been netted out towards people of color in this country because that helps us to see why the inhumanities still exist,” White said.

Sesame Street also put out an anti-racist guide for White parents to guide them on parenting race-conscious kids. At the same time, PBS’ cartoon Arthur teaches “anti-racism” in an episode honoring the late Rep. John Lewis. Penguin Books has also created an anti-racist portal as a companion to their anti-racist baby book, written by Dr. Ibram X. Kendi, which turned out to be a best-seller.

Not to be outdone, Disney came in strong when they gave a drag makeover to one of their Muppet Babies in a show targeting children as young as 3-years-old. Also strange was a Cinderella storyline that shows a beloved character who left a shoe behind at a ball and later transformed from Gonzo into “Gonzorella” saying he didn’t tell the other Muppets who he was because they “expected [him] to look a certain way.”

Anyone who thought they would be able to keep away from indoctrination by avoiding entertainment should think again. One of the countries largest online preschools, The Waterford Upstart program, has incorporated anti-racist training for parents that mirrors Hasbro’s CRT program. The program serves 90K students in 28 states like North DakotaUtah, rural Montanna and WyomingIdianaNorth Carolina and claims to get children ready for school by starting in Kindergarten.
