Did You See How the Left Is Spinning the Death of a Georgia Women Hit by a Car Driven by an Illegal?

Savannah teacher Linda Davis was likely on her way to work Monday morning when Oscar Vasquez Lopez, an illegal immigrant from Guatemala, was pulled over by ICE. Instead of complying, Lopez fled and crashed into the vehicle Davis was driving, killing her. That’s sad, of course, but it’s not the fault of ICE.

But that’s how the story is being spun.

Here’s more:

According to the Chatham County Police Department, Monday morning’s fatal crash was the result of a chase between Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and a suspect.

CCPD said in a press release department officers responded to the crash around 7:45 a.m., which happened right outside one of its precincts. The crash killed Hesse K-8 teacher Linda Davis.

Preliminary information shows Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was conducting an operation in the area of the Truman Parkway, and attempted to pull a man identified as Oscar Vasquez Lopez over. Lopez didn’t pull over, and ICE agents began chasing him. Lopez then crashed into Davis.

Davis was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. Lopez was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

While it’s unclear when Lopez entered the country, he had a final order of removal issued in 2024.

He chose to run, which is a crime, and he killed a woman. That does away with the whole ‘he had no criminal history’ lie. But beyond that, we don’t know if Lopez had a criminal history in Guatemala or if he committed crimes in America and simply wasn’t caught.

AI overlords of the world hacked: Fallout from the massive Palantir breach

Palantir Technologies has been hacked, according to well-known blogger Kim Dotcom. The company develops software for intelligence and big data analysis.

Palantir (named after the magical ‘seeing stones’ from ‘The Lord of the Rings’) doesn’t engage in surveillance in the conventional sense using spies, cameras, or bugs. Instead, it develops software that is sold to government agencies, military organizations, and large corporations.

Clients (like the CIA or the German police) upload all their data, and Palantir (its primary platforms are Gotham for military purposes and Foundry for business) then utilizes AI to transform this chaotic information into a coherent picture.

Essentially, it creates a ‘digital twin’ of reality, revealing connections that analysts could have never recognized on their own: for example, that a terrorist had called the cousin of someone who recently transferred money to a suspicious account.

The claims about wiretapping Trump and Musk are likely untrue or highly exaggerated. However, there’s no doubt that Palantir serves as a massive surveillance mechanism for monitoring America’s adversaries (and not only). It is an “operating system for war and intelligence,” providing agencies with a supercomputer that can see everything. But it’s the agencies themselves that feed this computer with data.

Eric Swalwell’s Anti-Cop Radicalism: From Campus Editorials to Targeting ICE Officers

When I filed a Petition for Writ of Mandate to remove Eric Swalwell from the California governor’s race for failing to meet the state’s five-year residency requirement, I expected a legal response.

Instead, Swalwell responded on Twitter by calling me a “MAGA idiot.” That insult prompted me and my great researcher, Shannon Knutsen, to take a closer look at his past — specifically, his college writings.

What we found was revealing.

On December 3, 1999, while a student at Campbell University in North Carolina, Eric Swalwell published an opinion column in the student newspaper titled “U.S. Political Prisoners: A Cry for Justice.”

Writing under the moniker “Eric Swalwell, The Radically Poetic,” he concluded the piece with a blunt demand: “America, it’s time to wake up. Free Peltier. Free Abu-Jamal. Free all political prisoners.”

Politico Just Admitted Non-Citizens Do Vote in Our Elections

Democrats have insisted we don’t need the SAVE Act, because it’s already against the law for non-citizens to vote in federal elections. But there have been countless stories of non-citizens doing just that, and Democrats — instead of calling for consequences and better election security — call the people who notice this “xenophobic” and “racist.”

Voter integrity laws, including voter ID, receive widespread support among all demographics, including Black voters and Democrats. Despite that, Democrats like Chuck Schumer insist such legislation will disenfranchise Black voters, calling the SAVE Act “Jim Crow 2.0.” Funny, we thought “Jim Crow 2.0” happened when Georgia passed voter integrity legislation. Remember how the Democrats punished the state and even got MLB to move the All-Star game because of it?

In the last election, Georgia voter turnout increased. Worst “Jim Crow 2.0” ever.

But there’s always a cycle to these stories. First, the Left will say it’s not happening. Then they’ll say it’s a “right-wing conspiracy.” Next, they’ll say it might be happening. The fourth and final stage of this cycle is when the Left admits, “Yeah, this is happening and it’s a good thing.”

Guess where we are in that cycle?

Thanks to Politico, we’re somewhere between steps three and four, what this writer calls the, “It’s happening, but not much, and why do you care?” stage.

META Granted Patent That Allows Facebook Users to Post After They Die

A patent granted to META in December gives an inside look at how Facebook users may still be able to post beyond the grave.

According to the patent, the large language model will be “simulating the user when the user is absent from the social networking system, for example, when the user takes a long break or if the user is deceased.”

The AI model would essentially replicate the deceased person’s digital presence by analyzing data such as their writing style, tone, and expressed beliefs, allowing it to continue posting content and even commenting on friends’ posts in their voice.

It gets stranger.

The patent also referenced technology that would allow users to have phone calls with the deceased or even video calls.

Per Business Insider:

In the patent, Meta lays out why it thinks people might need this.

If you’re no longer posting online — whether that’s because you need a break from social media or … you … die — your followers’ user experience will be affected. In short, they’ll miss you.

“The impact on the users is much more severe and permanent if that user is deceased and can never return to the social networking platform,” the document says.

To fill that void, Meta would essentially create a digital clone of your social media presence, training a model on “user-specific” data — including historical platform activity, such as comments, likes, or content — to understand how you would (or rather, did) behave.

The patent was filed by META’s CTO, Andrew Bosworth.

Despite being granted the patent, META has claimed it has no plans to implement the technology.

In recent years, the idea of using AI to bring someone back from the dead digitally has gained some momentum.

In 2025, the family of Christopher Pelkey, who was killed in a road rage incident in Arizona, used an AI-generated video of Pelkey as an impact statement in the courtroom.

NYC’s Mamdani Seeking First Property Tax Hike in Decades to Cover Budget Deficit

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani said Tuesday the city may have to raise property taxes to close a multibillion-dollar budget deficit.

The warning came as Mamdani unveiled a $127 billion city budget.

According to Bloomberg, the mayor said the tax hike would be necessary if state lawmakers in Albany do not impose new taxes on wealthy residents or businesses operating in the city.

It would be the first such hike in two decades.

“We do not want to have to turn to such drastic measures to balance our budget,” Mamdani said during a press conference at City Hall, Gothamist reported.

“But faced with no other choice, we will be forced to,” he added.

The comments are a clear sign that Mamdani, who ran as a democratic socialist, intends to follow through on his promise to tax the city’s working class and property owners.

New York Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul would need other signs off on the tax hike.

The last time New York City significantly raised property taxes was in 2003, when then-Mayor Michael Bloomberg approved increases following the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

Mamdani’s city government is still recovering from the fallout from last month’s winter storm.

Snow caused basic city services such as trash collection and ice removal to break down.

How Green Is My Cult: CA Now Importing US Gas From *check notes* 4000 Miles Away

I don’t know if any of you got to see California’s oleaginous presidential ass-pirant (and still technically governor), Gavin Newsom’s performance at the Munich Security Conference. I know between Secretary of State Rubio’s tour de force appearance, the Hillary traveling freakshow, and AOC’s sideshow comedy act, there’s been a lot of news made, so Randall Flagg Lite might have slipped past your radar.

But he was there, fresh as skunkweed ankle-deep in the flow of a new septic tie-in, every ‘lithe, ardent, energetic, a glimmer of optimism in his eye; Kennedy-esque’ inch of his skeevy frame.

He was so comfortable onstage in that august assemblage that he could convivially remind the Germans that they knew what Nazis were.

He genially whaps the German sitting next to him.

YEAH, YOU GUYS KNOW WHAT I’M TALKIN’ ‘BOUT NAZIS

As the governor worked the room, making the best possible impression – I only spotted a couple of his trademark shimmies – I thought of another thing he has in common with the Germans – a failed state.

While he’s hiding out in Europe pretending to be someone…

After Attacking Dog Ownership, Nerdeen Kiswani Does Damage Control

It’s clear that most Americans get testy when you even suggest outlawing dog ownership. New York Leftist Muslim Nerdeen Kiswani said the other day that “NYC is coming to Islam” on dogs being filthy and unfit to live in homes. Florida Rep. Randy Fine said what most of us were thinking: we chose our dogs. He’s been hammering Democrats about it, too, many of whom are eager to call critics of Kiswani and Islam “racist,” but none of whom can bring themselves to say they won’t ban dogs to appease Muslims.

Now Kiswani is doing two things, and the first one involves her playing the victim, accusing Fine of making a “genocidal statement.”

Genocide is the “deliberate, systematic, and intentional destruction—in whole or in part—of a national, ethnic, racial, or religious group.” Nothing Fine said is remotely genocidal. Muslims who don’t like dogs are free to leave America, where dogs are part of our culture, and go to one of the many Muslim nations that openly slaughter dogs in the street.

How MI6 backed ‘right-wing religious fanatics’ in Afghanistan

In 1980, journalist John Fullerton sat down for lunch in London with members of Britain’s Secret Intelligence Service (SIS), better known as MI6. The spooks asked the restless reporter to name five cities where he would like to work. He scrawled the answers unhesitatingly on a paper napkin.

“The top one was Peshawar in Pakistan,” he told Declassified, explaining his desire to move near the turbulent Afghan border. “The Soviets had invaded Afghanistan but I couldn’t find ways to be a freelancer out there. There were no journalists covering it. Everyone had left Kabul. So I wanted to cover the war and that’s how SIS employed me.”

He had been on good terms with SIS for many years already, after a chance encounter with Nicholas Elliott, one of the agency’s high fliers. Elliott, who famously confronted the KGB double agent Kim Philby, had just retired as an SIS director when he spotted an article by Fullerton exposing a power struggle between the police and military in apartheid South Africa.

Fullerton grew up in Cape Town, rising to night news editor on the Cape Times before migrating back to the UK, the country of his birth. After checking he was not a mole for the apartheid regime’s Bureau of State Security, British intelligence eventually took him on as a “contract labourer”, a cheaper option than a permanent SIS officer position.

“They employed quite a lot of these contract labourers, many from military backgrounds,” Fullerton commented. “SIS had gone through a period of retrenchment in the 1970s and early 80s and it had shrunk. From having three fully staffed stations in Latin America it went to having none.”

This all changed under Conservative Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, who received informal advice on espionage from Elliott. “She took a great interest in foreign affairs and intelligence and she tried to beef it all up,” Fullerton remarked, adding that her Foreign Secretary Lord Carrington was eager to get “scenes of Afghans fighting communists onto television screens.”

EPSTEIN FILES FALLOUT: UK Police ‘Assessing Information’ on Stansted Airport, Suspected To Have Been Used for Sex Trafficking Young Women Into Britain

Sex traffickers’ entry gate?

The UK is reeling over the allegations that the Jeffrey Epstein trafficking ring would have used Stansted airport with impunity, trafficking women into Britain.

The issue has even been taken up by a former Prime Minister who is calling for a full investigation.

By now, Essex Police has said it is ‘assessing information’ about private flights coming and going from Stansted Airport, after it was featured in the US DOJ’s Epstein files.

This ‘assessing information’ ruse may well mean that the whole business will be quashed.

BBC reported:

“Last year a BBC investigation found 87 flights linked to the convicted sex offender had arrived at or departed from UK airports between the early 1990s and 2018.

Ex-Prime Minister Gordon Brown wrote in the New Statesman last week that police ‘urgently’ need to re-examine whether Jeffrey Epstein’s victims were trafficked within and outside of the UK.”
