Federal Grand Jury indicts 11 in massive $100K-per-couple marriage fraud scheme

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) unsealed a two-count indictment charging 11 individuals for orchestrating a massive, decade-long marriage fraud network that arranged over 1,000 sham marriages.

Federal prosecutors described the operation as one of the largest marriage fraud prosecutions in U.S. history, spanning “from 2016 through July 2026 and generating tens of millions of dollars in illegal revenue.”

The criminal scheme primarily aimed to secure fraudulent green cards and lawful permanent residency for foreign nationals, predominantly citizens of the People’s Republic of China, the DOJ noted.

According to the 21-page indictment unsealed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, the defendants marketed their services through social media, word of mouth and targeted advertising.

Foreigners reportedly paid the enterprise up to $100,000 each to facilitate a fake marriage and process green card applications. In turn, the network recruited U.S. citizens to act as spouses, paying them up to $30,000 per arrangement, while recruiters pocketed commissions of around $5,000 for every participant enrolled.

Federal officials explained further how the syndicate functioned as a “full-service” operation designed to systematically evade federal immigration checks. Facilitators hired officiants and photographers, staged wedding ceremonies — sometimes at local restaurants where participants wore traditional attire to fabricate authenticity — and generated fake documentation.

Two Leftist Fantasies That Collide With Reality

Many want to live with fantasies that contradict facts as their reality.

But facts can’t be ignored, and we are not required to accept their fantasies as our truth and reality.

Here are two such fantasies: that a man can become a woman or vice versa, and that Marxism is good for citizens of the country.

Let us examine biology and medical science facts to disprove the first fantasy.

Sex chromosomes are packages of DNA found inside most of our approximately 30 trillion cells that have a nucleus. There are two different kinds of these chromosomes, X and Y. When an egg is fertilized, the egg itself always contributes an X chromosome, while sperm can contribute either an X or a Y. Sex chromosomes are the genetic elements that define a person’s biological sex. Females have XX and males have XY chromosomes. Chromosomes themselves are made up of proteins and DNA that carry our genetic information from cell to cell. In addition to biological gender and the resulting reproductive systems, they determine other physical traits, e.g., eye color.

The reproductive systems of men and women are distinctly different. The male reproductive system mostly exists outside of the body. The external organs include the penis, scrotum and testicles. Internal organs include the vas deferens, prostate and urethra. The male reproductive system is responsible for sexual function and urination. The female reproductive system is a group of organs that enable reproduction, pregnancy, and childbirth. It also produces female sex hormones, including estrogen and progesterone. The system consists of organs and tissues inside the body and some that are visible outside the body.

Medically, it is not possible to transplant reproductive systems into the opposite sex. Drugs and mutilating surgeries change a person’s appearance, but do not change the biological gender.

To dispel a related fantasy, women are physically weaker than men because of a combination of factors rooted in this biology. Women have: less total muscle mass, different muscle fiber profiles, lower testosterone levels, higher essential body fat, and smaller, lighter bones. These differences are significant. In upper body tasks, women produce roughly 56% of the force men do; in the lower body, that figure rises to about 72%. The average gap is real, measurable, and driven by physiology that diverges sharply at puberty.

So, factual biology shows it is impossible for women to successfully compete against the strength of men in physical tasks and sports.

Wacky Marxist Francesca Hong LOSES Wisconsin Dem Gubernatorial Primary to Establishment Opponent in Shocking Upset Following Suspicious Late-Night Ballot Drop

The dim-witted, holiday-hating communist who had emerged as one of new ‘stars’ of the Democratic Party has lost her primary in a stunning upset to a largely unknown establishment opponent following a late drop and chaos in Wisconsin’s largest city.

As CNN reported, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley narrowly defeated 37-year-old state assemblywoman Francesca Hong, who almost everyone assumed was going face Wisconsin GOP nominee Tom Tiffany in the general election.

The latest results show Crowley holding roughly a three thousand vote lead, less than half a percentage of the vote.

Crowley was backed by the entire Democratic establishment, including outgoing Wisconsin governor Tony Evers, who feared a hong nomination would mean a disastrous defeat in November.

Just hours before the race was called, the city of Milwaukee announced that 5 of the 9 USBs were ‘missing’ election results and results would be delayed.

This affected roughly 15,000 absentee ballots.

Notorious Wisconsin Election Official At Center Of Zuckbucks Scandal Resigns

Green Bay City Clerk Celestine Jeffreys’ reign of incompetence and law-breaking has come to an end.

Jeffreys, who began her notorious tenure during Green Bay’s scandalous handling of the 2020 election, stepped down late last week amid an investigation into her latest election administration mess.

But there remain several “conveniently” unanswered questions for Green Bay’s leftist leadership, according to the Brown County GOP.

‘It’s Long Overdue’

Green Bay Mayor Eric Genrich released a statement on Friday announcing that “Ms. Jeffreys has made the decision to step down from her role as City Clerk.”

“We wish her the best in her future endeavors,” the mayor’s office said.

That’s it. A two-sentence goodbye, followed by notice that the announcement will be “the City’s only statement on the matter.”

Jeffreys’ ignominious resignation comes a month after the city placed the embattled clerk on administrative leave for sending an unspecified number of absentee ballots to voters in several Green Bay wards — in advance of Wisconsin’s August primary. The election is scheduled for Tuesday. Jeffreys’ office described the mistake as a “printing error.”

As The Federalist reported last month, the bungling clerk’s latest miscue occurred less than three months after the office issued duplicate absentee ballots “in at least 152 instances” before the city’s spring elections, according to a complaint filed by the Republican Party of Wisconsin and Brown County GOP board member Theresa Sipes.

The Wisconsin Elections Commission has launched yet another investigation into the city clerk’s office, finding probable cause that Jeffreys’ latest ballot mishap broke Wisconsin elections law. City officials later this month are expected to deliver a presentation on their investigation into the clerk’s office to the leftist-led Green Bay City Council, which has countenanced Jeffreys’ incompetence for years.

Doug Reich, chairman of the Republican Party of Brown County, told The Federalist last month that two absentee ballot debacles in the span of a few months is “not an ‘oops.’” And Jeffreys leaving mid-investigation isn’t accountability.

“[I]t’s the bare minimum, and it’s long overdue,” Reich wrote on the county GOP’s Facebook page.

“Two elections. Two rounds of duplicate absentee ballots. A state investigation. And the best the city could produce, even after all that, was a two-sentence statement with no explanation and no apology to the voters affected,” the chairman added.

‘Gross Incompetence Or Something Worse’

Reich said Green Bay officials have yet to clarify how many voters received absentee ballots for Tuesday’s primary election. He noted that Jeffreys personally printed the spring election ballot labels, and she did it again in June.

“And her April report to the WEC left that out entirely, which is its own problem,” the GOP official wrote. “What has the city offered as proof? An unsworn letter from its own attorney. No records. No affidavit. Nothing Jeffreys has put her name to under oath. That’s not transparency, it’s damage control.”

Nicholas Boerke, Sipes’ legal counsel, has asked the Wisconsin Elections Commission to find that the city has failed to comply with the election regulator’s July 31 order demanding Green Bay officials explain how Jeffreys’ “printer error” happened — again.

“As I have said all along, this is either gross incompetence or something worse and the difference matters,” Boerke wrote in his letter to the commission. “An unsworn letter from a city lawyer, with no records, no affidavit, and nothing the (former) Clerk will stand behind under oath, is not accountability. More is necessary.”

The attorney said the WEC has the authority to subpoena records and take testimony under oath.

Here’s another important question: Who is running the city clerk’s office? As Reich wrote, Green Bay’s deputy clerk has been left holding the bag, running day-to-day operations, including preparing for Tuesday’s primary, “while the city drags its feet on a permanent replacement.”

Report: Chicago Has More Murders in 2026 than All Major Cities in Pro-Gun Florida Combined

A report from the Major Cities Chiefs Association shows that gun-controlled Chicago has more murders thus far this year than all major cities in pro-gun Florida combined.

The report was released August 5, 2026, at which time it indicated Chicago had 211 murders for the year.

By contrast, Florida’s major cities–Miami, Orlando, and Tampa–had a combined 29 murders during the same time frame.

Specifically: Eight murders in Miami, ten murders in Orlando, and eleven murders in Tampa.

The number of robberies in Chicago also eclipsed the total number witnessed in Florida’s major cities. There were 2,168 in Chicago versus a total of 385 in Miami, Orlando, and Tampa, combined.

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) posted to X regarding the report: “Florida has a 50 year low crime rate. When you enact law and order policies and support law enforcement, the bad guys pay the price.”

In addition to policies that support law enforcement, Florida has constitutional carry, which DeSantis signed into law April 3, 2023. His signature made Florida the 26th constitutional carry state in the Union.

On the other hand, Chicago, like all of Illinois, requires law-abiding citizens to acquire a Firearm Owners Identification (FOID) card simply to own a gun for home defense and subsequently mandates a second document, a concealed carry permit, in order to carry for self-defense. Additionally, there is a 72-hour waiting period on gun purchases, a red flag law, an “assault weapons” ban, a “high capacity” magazine ban, gun storage laws, a “Glock switch” ban, a bump stock ban, and regulations on firearms that Democrats refer to as “ghost guns.”

Moreover, Chicago has city-based controls and its seat, Cook County, has county controls that give Chicago even more 2A restrictions than other parts of the state.

Socialists’ Demands To Abolish Police And Prisons Will Mean More Dead Americans

Democrats insist that “Black Lives Matter,” yet many increasingly embrace policies that protect violent criminals at the expense of black victims.

What these Democrats ignore is that criminals overwhelmingly prey on people like themselves. About 90 percent of black homicide victims are killed by other black people, and 70 percent of black violent crime victims are victimized by a black offender.

Abdul El-Sayed, the projected Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in Michigan, has argued that systemic racism shapes the criminal justice system and has advocated defunding the police and reducing imprisonment. In tweets and interviews in 2020 and 2021, he made comments such as, “I believe that we do need to defund the police,” and “The police have become standing armies we deploy against our own people.”

Darializa Avila Chevalier, who won the Democratic nomination for Congress in New York City and appears likely to win the general election, campaigns on abolishing prisons and would not even say that murderers belong in prison. When asked why he supported Chevalier, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani replied that she represented the “politics of life.”

State Rep. Francesca Hong, the leading candidate for the Democratic nomination for governor of Wisconsin, declared, “I support defunding the police as a first step towards abolishing the police” and “Police exist to uphold white supremacy. Defund then abolish. Reform can’t be an option.” On July 22, 2026, Hong added: “We no longer can have a system that protects a power and a privilege that puts the pain and lives of armed officers over black people. We cannot protect a system that continues to rain harm and terror.”

These politicians are far from isolated. In 2024, 61 House Democrats voted against a resolution condemning calls to defund the police and expressing support for law enforcement. Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., stated her position plainly: “No more policing, incarceration, and militarization. It can’t be reformed.”

The number of politicians embracing those positions has continued to grow. “It’s not just a few people anymore,” as Bill Maher recently observed on ABC News. “I read every day about a new person in Colorado or Wisconsin saying some variation of: not defund the police — abolish the police, no prisons, no police.”

Because violent crime is heavily concentrated in minority neighborhoods, reducing the likelihood that violent offenders are arrested, incarcerated, or deterred inevitably increases the risks faced by law-abiding black residents. Fifty-four percent of murders in the U.S. occur in just 2 percent of the counties. Within those counties, on average about two-thirds of their murders occur within 10-block areas. The harm in those areas goes well beyond the direct victims of the crime.

Despite claims that these policies speak for blacks, surveys consistently find that black Americans overwhelmingly want at least the same or greater police presence in neighborhoods with high crime. Even at the height of the Black Lives Matter movement in August 2020, a Gallup survey found that 81 percent of black Americans wanted police to spend the same amount of time (61 percent) or more time (20 percent) in their neighborhoods. Gallup noted that “Only 22% of black Americans favor abolishing police departments.”

A 2025 survey of Chicago residents by M3 Strategies indicated that 59 percent of blacks strongly supported hiring more police officers and another 27 percent somewhat supported that. Only 11 percent opposed the idea. Still another late July 2026 survey by Rasmussen Reports shows that likely black voters oppose proposals to abolish police 58 to 33.

These Democrats at least have a consistent philosophy. They demand eliminating prisons, abolishing or defunding police, weakening immigration enforcement, and restricting law-abiding citizens’ ability to defend themselves. Mamdani has declared, “We need to ban all guns.” Hong earned the endorsements of Michael Bloomberg’s gun-control organizations. Abdul El-Sayed complains, “Too many elected officials are scared of a corporate gun lobby … I will never take a dime from the gun lobby.” Sayed supports virtually every major gun-control proposal now under debate.

The same pattern extends to immigration. The Chicago Sun-Times reported that “an increasing number of established Democrats are calling for a dissolution of the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency.” More than 40 House Democrats support legislation to abolish ICE. During the Biden administration, at least 12.8 million illegal aliens either surrendered at the border, were apprehended after crossing illegally, or became known gotaways, and no one knows how many additional migrants entered without being detected.

Recent data for New York shows that illegal aliens are overrepresented in the incarcerated population in the state compared to their overall share of the state population by at least 3.4 times. Of course, illegals harm minorities in other ways. Increasing the supply of low-skilled workers also intensifies competition for the same jobs and puts downward pressure on wages for the poorest, least-skilled Americans whom these Democrats claim to champion.

Zuckerberg manifesto sketches out Meta’s ambitions for world-changing AI technology

Meta Platforms CEO Mark Zuckerberg laid out a vision Monday of what he said artificial intelligence can do for the world, imagining a future where everyone has their own, all-knowing AI agent that strives to improve all aspects of their lives.

Zuckerberg detailed his ambitions for the technology in a 6,500-word essay published online where he also outlined why he favors open-source AI technology, in which developers make key components accessible for anyone to examine, modify and build upon.

In a document derided by critics as fantastical, Zuckerberg said his company is working toward an era where everyone will have the tools to create new businesses, receive Ph.D.-level tutoring and provide personalized lifestyle tips. His 8-year-old daughter, he wrote, can already code her ideas and quickly produce videos.

“Everyone will soon have invention superpowers,” Zuckerberg wrote.

Zuckerberg warned of risks if control of advanced AI is concentrated with a select few companies, institutions or governments. On Monday, Meta also announced the release a new open-source AI model, Muse Glimmer, which can run on a personal computer, and Zuckerberg said the company would also would provide a way for developers to access a more powerful AI model, Muse Spark 1.2.

Meta makes AI models, like several other tech companies, and uses them to power platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. The Menlo Park, California, company also makes them available to developers who can create their own apps and features.

Skeptics urge a slower pace of AI development
Critics said Zuckerberg was not reckoning fully with the risks inherent in AI’s rapid development.

Pelosi Plays Stupid, Claims She Didn’t Know Biden Was Mentally Declining – Takes a Veiled Shot at Jill Biden

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Tuesday claimed she didn’t know that Joe Biden was mentally declining until she saw his June 2024 debate performance.

“You see, when I was Speaker, I saw the president all the time, but when I wasn’t then I saw him maybe 3 times that whole year and so I didn’t know, and I think he had his sort of ups and downs,” Pelosi said on Tuesday at Politico’s The California Agenda: Sacramento Summit.

But I do think those who did know should have acted upon that information…whoever knew,” Pelosi said.

Pelosi took a veiled shot at Jill Biden.

“There was staff saying the family knew. The family said the staff,” Pelosi said without mentioning Dr. Jill’s name.

Pelosi said that she learned about Biden’s mental decline during the June 2024 debate against Trump.

“When you think of the debate and how sad that was, that’s really when we learned,” Pelosi said.

Mysterious Drone Threat Emerges At America’s “Unsinkable Aircraft Carrier,” Prompting Curfews

One of the most strategically important US military bases outside the continental U.S., often described as an “unsinkable aircraft carrier” in the central Indian Ocean, faces a mysterious drone threat, according to a new report.

TWZ cited the UK Ministry of Defense, which said it was aware of reported drone sightings over the remote US-UK military base but declined to identify the drones.

“We are aware of reported sightings of drones (UAS) over Diego Garcia,” the UK Defense Ministry (MoD) told the military blog Monday morning. “We are unable to provide any details about a situation which may affect the security or operation of the joint U.K.-U.S. base on Diego Garcia.”

“The U.S. and U.K. Commanding Officers on Diego Garcia consider and implement appropriate measures to ensure the security and safety of the base and the safety of the personnel on the island,” MoD added.

TWZ noted that US officials “were less forthcoming” about the drone threat against Diego Garcia.

“As a matter of operational security, we do not discuss specific force protection measures or security procedures at U.S. military installations,” an official from U.S. Pacific Command (PACOM) told the outlet on Friday. “We remain vigilant in protecting U.S. personnel and facilities.”

Last Friday, the Air Force amn/nco/snco Facebook page said drones were spotted near the base’s fuel tank farm, and a daytime curfew had been imposed. “

“Inbox: Diego Garcia. Drones spotted near fuel farm. Base on 0700 to 1900 curfew until further notice. Note: message us if you have further information, thanks,” the Facebook post read.

Michigan’s Leftist U.S. Senate Nominee Abdul El-Sayed Attacked Fourth of July Fireworks and Second Amendment in Deleted Videos

Far-left U.S. Senate nominee Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed (D-MI) reportedly spoke about reasons why Fourth of July fireworks “suck” in a now-deleted YouTube video from two years ago, per CNN.

El-Sayed last week defeated establishment Democrat Rep. Haley Stevens (D-MI) in the primary “in which the radical transformation of the Democratic Party [was] center stage,” Breitbart News reported.

According to the CNN article published Tuesday, in the deleted video the Muslim leftist was asking viewers if patriotic Americans could mark the occasion without using the traditional fireworks.

He also reportedly attacked the Second Amendment.

The CNN article stated:

Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed once asked his YouTube viewers whether Americans could “PLEASE” find another way to celebrate the Fourth of July, in a video promising four reasons “why fireworks suck.”

The since-removed video from July 2024 included a chapter titled “Fireworks just aren’t worth it: hear us out” and cited Detroit’s post-fireworks air quality, the chemicals used in fireworks, their potential to trigger PTSD in veterans, and the risks they pose to children and pets.

…

In other since-removed clips, El-Sayed argued that the southern border was not among Americans’ five biggest concerns and lambasted Republicans for focusing on it. In another he floated replacing the Second Amendment’s right to bear arms with a constitutional right to health care.
