USPS Postmarks Now Stamped 1-2 Days After USPS Takes Possession. 47% Of Population Affected, Mostly Republican Areas (Ballots, Taxes, Legal Docs)

USPS quietly changed when postmarks are applied to mail. It’s part of their overall “Delivering for America” plan. Instead of same day, your 1st class and similar mail might now get the postmark stamp 1 to 2 days after they took possession of the mail piece. If you want to ensure a same-day postmark, USPS recommends going to a retail counter at any USPS post office.

The processing and distribution centers that apply postmarks are staying the same. It’s the transportation time and movement methods of the mail that have changed. It appears this change will predominantly affect rural areas, which typically vote Republican. Voters should now mail ballots at least 2 days earlier than in any previous election.

A postmark is the dated imprint over a stamp to cancel its use. It serves an internal USPS function. However, for over 7 decades, postmarks have been used by administrators as evidence that a deadline was met. Postmarks have been critical for legal forms, IRS tax filings, mail-in ballots, and many other purposes.

Generally, postmarks are applied at high speeds at USPS Processing & Distribution Centers (P&DC). These are massive facilities that cover specific “regions” of the country. They have dozens of mail-processing machines, dozens of loading docks for tractor-trailers, and so on. Our United States Postal Service uses a spoke-and-hub delivery model. The local Post Offices feed mail to and from the closest hub, often called the P&DC.

How the Past Whispers to the Present in Iran

In the first chapter of his 1874 novel The Gilded Age, Mark Twain offered a telling observation about the connection between past and present: “History never repeats itself, but the… present often seems to be constructed out of the broken fragments of antique legends.”Among the “antique legends” most helpful in understanding the likely outcome of the current U.S. intervention in Iran is the Suez Crisis of 1956, which I describe in my new book Cold War on Five Continents. After Egyptian leader Gamal Abdel Nasser nationalized the Suez Canal in July 1956, a joint British-French armada of six aircraft carriers destroyed Egypt’s air force, while Israeli troops smashed Egyptian tanks in the sands of the Sinai Peninsula. Within less than a week of war, Nasser had lost his strategic forces and Egypt seemed helpless before the overwhelming might of that massive imperial juggernaut.

But by the time Anglo-French forces came storming ashore at the north end of the Suez Canal, Nasser had executed a geopolitical masterstroke by sinking dozens of rusting ships filled with rocks at the canal’s northern entrance. In doing so, he automatically cut off Europe’s lifeline to its oil fields in the Persian Gulf. By the time British forces retreated in defeat from Suez, Britain had been sanctioned at the U.N., its currency was at the brink of collapse, its aura of imperial power had evaporated, and its global empire was heading for extinction.

Historians now refer to the phenomenon of a dying empire launching a desperate military intervention to recover its fading imperial glory as “micro-militarism.” And coming in the wake of imperial Washington’s receding influence over the broad Eurasian land mass, the recent U.S. military assault on Iran is starting to look like an American version of just such micro-militarism.

Even if history never truly repeats itself, right now it seems all too appropriate to wonder whether the current U.S. intervention in Iran might indeed be America’s version of the Suez Crisis. And should Washington’s attempt at regime change in Tehran somehow “succeed,” don’t for a second think that the result will be a successfully stable new government that will be able to serve its people well.

70 Years of Regime Change

Let’s return to the historical record to uncover the likely consequences of regime change in Iran. Over the past 70 years, Washington has made repeated attempts at regime change across the span of five continents — initially via CIA covert action during the 44 years of the Cold War and, in the decades since the end of that global conflict, through conventional military operations. Although the methods have changed, the results — plunging the affected societies into decades of searing social conflict and incessant political instability — have been sadly similar. This pattern can be seen in a few of the CIA’s most famous covert interventions during the Cold War.

In 1953, Iran’s new parliament decided to nationalize the British imperial oil concession there to fund social services for its emerging democracy. In response, a joint CIA-MI6 coup ousted the reformist prime minister and installed the son of the long-deposed former Shah in power. Unfortunately for the Iranian people, he proved to be a strikingly inept leader who transformed his country’s oil wealth into mass poverty — thereby precipitating Iran’s 1979 Islamic revolution.

By 1954, Guatemala was implementing an historic land reform program that was investing its mostly Mayan indigenous population with the requisites for full citizenship. Unfortunately, a CIA-sponsored invasion installed a brutal military dictatorship, plunging the country into 30 years of civil war that left 200,000 people dead in a population of only five million.

Author Brags About Hiding LGBTQ Messaging in Children’s Book Cover

Rebecca Bendheim, author of a Young Adult book for teenage readers, recently took to Instagram where she bragged that she deliberately designed her book cover to hide the LGBT agenda of the story contained within its pages from parents, while still advertising to kids. This is the kind of sick and twisted ideology the left embraces. They undermine parents who don’t want their kids exposed to sexual perversion, while they normalize deviancy.

Bendheim, who also works as a middle school teacher, said in her video, “When Penguin [Random House] asked me what I wanted for my cover, I said I wanted it to be gay enough for queer kids and teens to clock it, but for homophobic parents to just think it’s a friendship story.” Apparently, children of the same sex can no longer just be friends. Nope. If they hang out together, they must probably feel attracted to each other sexually.

These people try to sexualize everything. The progressive movement ultimately wants complete and total control over the population of the country. They cannot achieve that goal as long as the nuclear family exists. Sexual deviancy destroys the family. This explains why they so desperately try to normalize their lifestyles. None of the LGBT agenda pushers truly believe what they participate in is normal. Otherwise, they would not need outside validation and acceptance. It would just exist.

The author will publish her book, When You’re Brave Enough, on April 7, 2026. The publisher recommends it for kids between the ages of 10–14. They want your 10-year-old children to see content that could lead them into unnecessary sexual confusion. Parents should decide when their kids are ready to talk about complex issues like sexuality. Not authors. Not school teachers. Not politicians.

“So I said, no holding hands, make my character look gay,” she said as she pointed out the small details she and the cover artist agreed on, including flowers growing between the pair on the cover to indicate a crush is “growing.” Seriously. This is diabolical.

“So what do you think? Would you guess this was a queer book?” Bendheim asked her viewers. Well, to be fair, I have seen Hollywood and other parts of the entertainment industry push the LGBT agenda in everything so often that I just assume there’s probably gay content in it and would look through it or research the book before buying it for my children.

And that’s what all parents need to start doing. It’s sad, but true.

‘Dam Is Breaking’ on Truth About Vaccine Injuries, MAHA Institute President Says

The MAHA Institute on Monday hosted a daylong discussion in Washington, D.C., to address the massive epidemic of vaccine injury — MEVI, for short.

The “MEVI Round Table: Massive Epidemic of Vaccine Injury” featured over a dozen scientists, doctors, lawyers and medical freedom activists.

Topics included the scale of current vaccine injuries, the link between vaccines and autism, how the number of routinely recommended vaccines skyrocketed after vaccine makers were granted liability protection, COVID-19 vaccine side effects, and pediatricians’ perspectives.

Mark Gorton, president of the MAHA Institute, opened the event. Below is the transcript of his speech.

Correcting the NY Times ACIP Reporting on Vaccine Injury

Seeing Sunday’s NY Times headline titled Confidential Report Calls for Sweeping Changes to Track Covid Vaccine Harms, a reflexive question flashed in the minds of even the most staunch defenders of legacy vaccine policy – Is the NY Times about to dismiss the Covid vaccine injured?

For those who don’t care to read the outlet’s reporting, here are what the author’s chose to add as closing words:

“The basis of supposed Covid vaccine injury syndrome is even less persuasive and thus even less directly relevant to vaccine policy…”

For experienced readers, seeing who the article’s lead author is should have caused pause immediately. When is comes to journalistic integrity, Apoorva Mandavilli is not who comes to mind.

In an October 6, 2021 NYT’s article titled A New Vaccine Strategy for Children: Just One Dose, for Now Mandavilli stated that 900,000 U.S. children have been hospitalized due to Covid. She was forced to correct the glaring error when the real number was found to be slightly more than 63,000.

In 2022 Mandavilli reported on the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) recommendation of Pfizer’s Covid shot for kids 5-11-years-old. NY Times initially reports, “Nearly 4,000 children aged 5 to 11 have died from a Covid-related condition called multisystem inflammatory syndrome during the pandemic.”

Mandavilli was again forced to add a correction

Trump Says He’ll Have the “Honor” of “Taking Cuba” – “Whether I Free it, Take it, I Think I Can Do Anything I Want with It”

President Trump on Monday again floated “taking Cuba,” saying he believes he will have the “honor” of doing so.

During a press conference in the Oval Office, Trump told reporters that Cuba is “very weakened,” noting that its “very violent” regime has destroyed the country.

“All my life, I’ve been hearing about the United States and Cuba. You know, when will the United States do it?”

This comes as the Department of Justice is preparing to charge Communist Cuban leaders in cases related to drugs or violence.

Cuba also faced a nationwide blackout after Trump cut off the flow of oil by threatening tariffs on any country that provides oil to Cuba through an Executive Order.

Meanwhile,  as The Gateway Pundit recently reported, U.S. Southern Command announced new operations with the Ecuadorian military against narco-terrorists in South America and is still surging troops to the region.

Trump told Fox’s Peter Doocy that Cuba is “talking to us” but declined to say whether he plans to use the military to invade Cuba as he did in Venezuela in January.

“I mean, whether I free it, take it, I think I can do anything I want with it, you want to know the truth. They’re a very weakened nation right now,” he said.

Israel Claims Killing Of Iran’s Top Security Official Ali Larijani In Overnight Strike

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced Tuesday that the Israeli military successfully eliminated Ali Larijani, the secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) and one of Tehran’s most senior security figures, during airstrikes overnight.

In a statement, Katz confirmed that Larijani was killed alongside Gholamreza Soleimani, the commander of Iran’s Basij militia, a paramilitary force under the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The strikes represent a major escalation in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran, which has intensified since late February following U.S.-Israeli actions that reportedly killed Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other high-ranking officials.

“The prime minister and I have instructed the IDF to continue hunting down the leadership of the regime of terror and oppression in Iran,” Katz said, adding that Larijani and Soleimani had now “joined Khamenei… in the depths of hell.” He described the operation as part of an accelerating effort to dismantle Iran’s remaining top leadership, wrote Clash Report.

Larijani, appointed SNSC secretary in August 2025 by President Masoud Pezeshkian, also served as the representative of the late Supreme Leader Khamenei on the council. A veteran politician, he previously held the position of speaker of Iran’s parliament (Majles) from 2008 to 2020 and was Iran’s chief nuclear negotiator from 2005 to 2007. Often described as a “moderate conservative,” Larijani came from a prominent political family; his brother Sadegh Larijani chairs the Expediency Council, a key body arbitrating disputes between parliament and the Guardian Council.

The killing of such a central figure in Iran’s strategic decision-making could significantly impact Tehran’s regional policies, military operations, and any potential nuclear negotiations amid the broader war.

Tucker Carlson: “Throughout the West Criticizing the Netanyahu Government is Now a Crime Punishable by Imprisonment”

Tucker Carlson released his latest interview on Monday.

He invited longtime friend and fellow Israel critic Glenn Greenwald as his guest.

Tucker made this bold statement to his audience, “Throughout the West, criticizing the Netanyahu government is now a crime punishable by imprisonment.”

(You can listen to this at 1:02:10 in the video below.)

It’s not clear what he is referring to today.

Glenn Greenwald says that censorship of conservative voices in the West is not as big of threat on free speech as criticizing Israel and Jews.

This video interview comes out just days after Tucker said the CIA has been reading his text messages and is referring a criminal complaint against him.

Hollywood Hypocrisy Exposed As Elites Leave Trash-Filled Auditorium, Ignore Squalor on Streets Outside

Here’s a travel secret: Hollywood Boulevard should not be on your must-see places to visit. In fact, a recent travel guide showed that tourists rated it the “worst” tourist destination in the world.

It’s dirty, impossible to get to by public transportation, its streets are crawling with crazy people and homelessness, and there’s not really anything to see. Except for a few newer buildings, entire blocks look old and decaying.

It is, however, home to the Academy Awards, which is held in the state-of-the-art Dolby Theater, and if you manage to make your way inside there, you’d forget all about the sleaziness outside.

Hollywood celebs are continually going on about the danger of waste, the planet dying from climate change, and the perils of overconsumption. That doesn’t mean any of their rules apply to themselves, however.

“Clean up on aisle ALL,” said one viral tweet in response.

“Aren’t some of them environmentalists?” wrote another observer on X.  “Where’s all that ‘protect the planet’ energy now?”

Owners and CEO of Wholesale Pharmaceutical Company Sentenced for Distributing More Than $92M of Black-Market HIV Drugs

Two owners of a pharmaceutical wholesale company were sentenced Friday to a total of 38 years in prison for orchestrating a complex, nationwide drug diversion scheme that harmed vulnerable HIV-positive patients, placed countless others at risk, and corrupted the supply chain for prescription drugs in the United States.

“Patrick and Charles Boyd did not just commit fraud and cost taxpayers millions of dollars, they preyed upon some of the most vulnerable members of our society: HIV patients who depend on life-saving treatments to manage their disease,” said Assistant Attorney General A. Tysen Duva of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division. “Fraud schemes like this one undermine the integrity of our supply chain for necessary prescription drugs. These defendants will rightly spend years in prison for their reprehensible conduct, which took advantage of people for illicit profit. This case is another example of how the Criminal Division, our United States Attorney partner in the Southern District of Florida, and law enforcement will pursue and seek convictions of those who defraud our systems, endanger our citizens, and seek to line their pockets with fraud proceeds.”

“These defendants treated life-saving HIV medication like street contraband,” said U.S. Attorney Jason A. Reding Quiñones for the Southern District of Florida. “They bought drugs off the street from black-market suppliers, shipped them in dirty boxes and discarded packaging, falsified paperwork, and pushed those medications back into the legitimate pharmaceutical supply chain. The consequences were real. HIV patients received bottles containing the wrong drugs, and at least one patient lost consciousness after ingesting medication that should never have been in that bottle. As a former military prosecutor, federal prosecutor, and trial judge, I have seen how greed can drive dangerous schemes. When criminals gamble with patient safety for profit, federal prison is the result.”

“Friday’s sentence underscores the extreme danger these defendants created,” said Acting Deputy Inspector General for Investigations Scott J. Lampert of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Inspector General (HHS‑OIG). “They took life‑threatening actions that showed an alarming disregard for human life in service of nothing more than a payday. Their criminal scheme endangered vulnerable patients, put entire communities at risk, and undermined the integrity of Medicare and Medicaid. HHS‑OIG will continue working with our law enforcement partners — and using every tool in our arsenal — to pursue and dismantle illegal black‑market rings that seek to corrupt the nation’s drug supply and exploit taxpayer‑funded health care programs.”
