Secret whistleblower complaint against Tulsi Gabbard sends shockwaves through DC: ‘Grave damage to national security’

Donald Trump‘s spy chief Tulsi Gabbard is accused of wrongdoing in a whistleblower complaint so highly classified it has been sealed inside a safe.

The sensitive allegations against Gabbard have triggered months of debate over how to present the complaint to Congress, amid warnings it could cause ‘grave damage to national security,’ the Wall Street Journal reports. 

The ‘cloak-and-dagger mystery’ implicates a second government agency, and raises claims of executive privilege that may involve the White House, officials said.

The whistleblower accuses Gabbard of stonewalling the complaint by refusing to provide the necessary security guidance for congressional lawmakers to review it.

The intelligence community’s inspector general received the complaint last May, according to a November letter sent by the whistleblower’s lawyer to Gabbard.

A spokeswoman for Gabbard acknowledged the existence of the complaint but claimed it was ‘baseless and politically motivated.’

Gabbard’s office also said it was not stonewalling the whistleblower’s allegations but navigating a unique set of circumstances in order to resolve the classified complaint.

A representative for the inspector general told the Journal that it had determined some specific allegations were not credible. The whistleblower’s lawyer, Andrew Bakaj, said they were never informed that any determinations were reached.

The November letter Bakaj wrote to Gabbard was shared with House and Senate intelligence panels, but lawmakers have not received the complaint months later. 

Democratic congressional aides on the intelligence committees have tried to probe for details of the complaint in recent weeks but have not been successful.

The information divulged by the whistleblower is so highly classified that not even Bakaj has been able to view it.

Watchdog experts and former intelligence officials claim the delay in sending the complaint to Congress is unprecedented.

The inspector general is usually required to assess whether the complaint is credible to share with lawmakers within three weeks of receiving it.

The Daily Mail cannot confirm the substance of the allegations.

Director of National Intelligence spokeswoman Olivia Coleman said: ‘This is a classic case of a politically motivated individual weaponizing their position in the Intelligence Community, submitting a baseless complaint and then burying it in highly classified information to create 1) false intrigue, 2) a manufactured narrative, and 3) conditions which make it substantially more difficult to produce “security guidance” for transmittal to Congress.’

The controversy comes as Gabbard has been sidelined in the Trump administration over major national security matters, including Venezuela and Iran.

Sen. Mark Warner’s Attack On DNI Election Raid Falls Flat

Democratic Virginia Sen. Mark Warner slammed Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard over her presence during the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) execution of a search warrant at the Fulton County Election Hub in Georgia on Wednesday.

Warner claimed Gabbard “has got no business interfering in elections” and warned that her actions should “concern the heck out of every American.” His attack is yet another example of Democrats ignoring clear federal statutes in an attempt to control the narrative.

Federal law explicitly assigns the DNI a leadership role in safeguarding elections from foreign exploitation. Under 50 U.S.C. § 3371d, the DNI oversees counterintelligence matters related to election security, including assessing risks to voting systems, software, voter registration databases, and other infrastructure. Warner’s claim that Gabbard has “no business” in elections also ignores 50 U.S.C. § 3024, which requires all Intelligence Community (IC) elements to provide the DNI access to necessary intelligence for oversight and integration.

Warner’s attack frames the DNI investigation as domestic meddling, but it’s central to the DNI’s counterintelligence duties. Gabbard’s presence at the Fulton County raid falls within her authority as DNI. In fact, it would arguably be negligent of her office if she chose not to participate in the investigation into potential voting system and election security vulnerabilities.

This was all a lie and they knew it.
There was no reliable information to back up any of their allegations.

During her press conference with White House reporters, DNI Tulsi Gabbard said she has already turned this information on Obama over to the Department of Justice.

‘A Lie And Propaganda’: Gabbard Fact-Checks Reuters’ Russia Scaremongering In Real Time

On Saturday afternoon, Reuters posted an anonymously-sourced story pushing the idea that Russia is bent on reconstituting the Soviet Union. Before the metaphorical ink had dried, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard pounced, condemning the story as “a lie and propaganda” on behalf of “warmongers” seeking to derail President Trump’s drive to end the long and bloody Ukraine war.  

From selling the Iraq invasion to achieving a news and social media lockdown on Hunter Biden’s laptop, the Deep State has long used major media outlets like Reuters, the New York Times and Washington Post to inject their agenda-advancing narratives into America’s town square. Displaying the typical modus operandi with its Saturday night story, Reuters vaguely attributed the purported US intelligence conclusions about Russia to “six sources familiar with US intelligence.” 

According to those sources, “US intelligence reports” are warning that, despite Putin’s outwardly earnest claims that he wants to end the Ukraine war — claims credited by Trump — Russia not only wants to conquer all of Ukraine but also other European territories that were part of the Soviet Union. “The reports present a starkly different picture from that painted by…Trump and his Ukraine peace negotiators,” wrote Reuters journalists Jonathan Landay, Erin Banco and John Irish. Shortly after Banco promoted the story on X, Gabbard lashed out: 

“No, this is a lie and propaganda Reuters is willingly pushing on behalf of warmongers who want to undermine President Trump’s tireless efforts to end this bloody war that has resulted in more than a million casualties on both sides. Dangerously, you are promoting this false narrative to block President Trump’s peace effort, and fomenting hysteria and fear among the people to get them to support the escalation of war, which is what NATO and the EU really want in order to pull the United States military directly into war with Russia.

The truth is the US intelligence community has briefed policymakers, including the Democrat HPSCI member quoted by Reuters, that US Intelligence assesses that Russia seeks to avoid a larger war with NATO. It also assesses that, as the last few years have shown, Russia’s battlefield performance indicates it does not currently have the capability to conquer and occupy all of Ukraine, let alone Europe.”

The “Democratic HPSCI member” (House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence) is Illinois Rep. Mike Quigley, who told Reuters that intelligence has “always” said “Putin wants more…The Europeans are convinced of it. The Poles are absolutely convinced of it. The Baltics think they’re first.”

Gabbard blasts ‘deep state warmonger’ report claiming Putin seeks to invade Eastern Europe, warns NATO and EU pushing U.S. toward war with Russia

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard refuted a report claiming that U.S. intelligence reports are finding that Russian President Vladimir Putin seeks to capture all of Ukraine and parts of Eastern Europe formerly under Soviet control.

Gabbard dismissed a Reuters report claiming that Putin still has the intention of expanding his war past Ukraine, citing six anonymous sources.

The report, released on Saturday, claims that a September U.S. intelligence report contradicts President Donald Trump and his negotiators, who have stated that Putin is seeking an end to the war in Ukraine.

The report added that U.S. intelligence has been consistent on the matter since Putin invaded Ukraine in 2022, aligning with European leaders on the belief that Putin seeks to take back former Soviet bloc states by force, including NATO allies.

“The intelligence has always been that Putin wants more,” Democrat House Intelligence Committee member Mike Quigley (Ill.) told Reuters. “The Europeans are convinced of it. The Poles are absolutely convinced of it. The Baltics think they’re first.”

Gabbard responded to the report on Saturday afternoon, criticizing “deep state warmongers and their propaganda media” for attempting to undermine President Donald Trump’s peace efforts.

“This is a lie and propaganda @Reuters is willingly pushing on behalf of warmongers who want to undermine President Trump’s tireless efforts to end this bloody war that has resulted in more than a million casualties on both sides,” Gabbard wrote.

Gabbard went on to accuse NATO and the EU of wanting to lure the United States into a direct military conflict with Russia.

DNI Tulsi Gabbard Shreds Democrat Rep. Bennie Thompson for Calling Deadly Terror Attack on National Guard an ‘Unfortunate Accident’

During a Friday appearance on Fox & Friends, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard tore into Democrat Congressman Bennie Thompson for downplaying a recent terrorist attack on U.S. National Guard troops in Washington, D.C., as an “unfortunate accident.”

The incident, which left one Guardsman dead and another critically wounded, highlights the ongoing fallout from the Biden administration’s chaotic 2021 Afghanistan withdrawal and lax vetting of evacuees.

The attack unfolded on November 26, when 29-year-old Afghan evacuee Rahmanullah Lakanwal opened fire on West Virginia National Guard members near the White House.

Lakanwal, who entered the U.S. during the Kabul evacuation, shouted “Allahu Akbar” as he fired a revolver, killing 20-year-old Sarah Beckstrom and severely injuring SSgt. Andrew Wolfe, 24.

The troops were deployed to combat rising crime in the nation’s capital.

Lakanwal now faces charges including first-degree murder while armed and is being held without bond.

During a House Homeland Security Committee hearing on Thursday, Thompson, the former chair of the committee, referred to the shooting as an “unfortunate accident” and an “unfortunate situation” while grilling Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

Thompson blamed Noem for pinning the blame on Joe Biden, ignoring the broader context of inadequate vetting that allowed suspected terrorists into the country.

Secretary Noem pushed back immediately, stating, “Unfortunate accident? It was a terrorist attack. He shot our Guardsmen in the head.”

How Gabbard’s ‘hunters’ pounced on secret CIA warehouse for Kennedy files

The officials arrived at the secret CIA archival facility in the Washington area one morning in early April. Their mission: to seize still-classified CIA files on the assassinations of Robert F. Kennedy, John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr.

The team pulled up in their vehicles unannounced, catching the spy agency off-guard, three people familiar with the matter told Reuters.

They were acting on behalf of Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, who wanted to take documents out of the hands of the Central Intelligence Agency and start the process of declassifying them at the National Archives, the people said.

One of the people familiar with the matter said the CIA wasn’t aware that it was about to receive direction that day “from a higher government agency.” The person also described the moment as probably the most confrontational point in the still young relationship between Gabbard’s office and the CIA.

The official leading the search, a Defense Intelligence Agency official named Paul Allen McDonald II who was on temporary assignment to Gabbard’s office, declared that they were “on a mission” from Gabbard, two of the people said.

A Trump administration official who made a brief appearance that day after arriving in her minivan, Amaryllis Fox Kennedy, was a CIA veteran herself and the daughter-in-law of Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. She did not have the necessary badge to access the warehouse but was waved in, the two people said. One said Fox Kennedy spent about an hour there, focusing on efforts to digitize the massive archive of papers.

The early April episode, which has not been previously reported, lasted until 2 a.m. the next morning when a massive trove of documents was eventually transferred to the National Archives, according to two of the people.

The case casts new light on the tension between two forces in Washington, the CIA and Gabbard’s ODNI, as Trump appointees sought to act on the president’s orders to swiftly release the full accounting of Kennedy’s murder in 1963, as well as the high-profile 1968 assassinations of Robert F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr.

White House spokesman Steven Cheung said Trump had full confidence in both Gabbard and CIA Director John Ratcliffe. “Efforts by the legacy media to sow internal division are a distraction that will not work,” Cheung said.

A spokesperson for the Director of National Intelligence said the ODNI “has worked in close coordination with the CIA since the beginning of the administration to carry out this historic release of files.”

Trump issued an executive order in January instructing Gabbard and the other intelligence agencies to declassify records related to the JFK, RFK and Martin Luther King Jr. assassinations.

Reuters could not independently determine if Gabbard directed this specific mission at the archives or the extent to which Trump may have been briefed ahead of time about individual missions related to the declassification effort.

The Director of National Intelligence serves as principal intelligence adviser to the president and has oversight over the 17 other agencies, including the CIA. The job typically includes managing interagency tensions.

In a joint statement, Gabbard’s ODNI and the CIA said the two agencies “have and will continue working hand-in-hand to release and declassify documents of public interest and execute President Trump’s mission of restoring trust in the intelligence community.”

Tulsi Gabbard Claims Trump Has Ended Regime Change Wars, Ignoring His Regime Change Wars In Iran and Venezuela.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard recently claimed that under the current Trump administration, America’s regime change wars are over.

At a Bahrain security summit, Gabbard said, “For decades, our foreign policy has been trapped in a counterproductive and endless cycle of regime change or nation building, It was a one-size-fits-all approach, of toppling regimes, trying to impose our system of governance on others, intervene in conflicts that were barely understood and walk away with more enemies than allies.”

Along with this, she implied that “America’s former strategy of ‘regime change or nation building’ had ended under President Donald Trump”.

The idea that America’s regime change policy has ended under Trump would be news to Iran and Venezuela, where Trump has attempted/is attempting to carry out regime change.

Last June, Trump joined in on Israel’s bombing of military infrastructure in Iran.

While the bombing was sold as an attempt to stop Iran from getting Nuclear Weapons, Trump’s own annual threat assessment report from the intelligence community from March of this year found no evidence Iran was building or planning on building a nuclear weapon, writing, “We continue to assess Iran is not building a nuclear weapon and that Khamenei has not reauthorized the nuclear weapons program he suspended in 2003” .

In a later interview with The Daily Caller, Trump admitted he carried out the Iran bombing for Israel, saying, “nobody has done more for Israel than I have, including the recent attacks with Iran”.

In a speech to the Israeli Knesset last month, Trump bragged about his Iran bombing, along with a list of other pro-Israel policies and went on to brag that his pro-Israel donor Miriam Adelson was, “responsible for so much”, adding, “I actually asked her once, I said, ‘So, Miriam, I know you love Israel. What do you love more, the United States or Israel?’ She refused to answer. That means, that might mean, Israel”.

As for Israel’s intention behind the Iran bombing, the Israeli paper Times of Israel reported that leaked Israeli transcripts during the bombing, “make it clear that Israel was also looking to destabilize the regime and even to kill Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei”.

The paper reported that, “Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said that Israel needed to ‘keep searching for the leader,’ referring to Khamenei, whom (Israeli defense minister Israel) Katz later said Jerusalem sought to kill”.

The paper reported that, “Netanyahu said entire Iranian neighborhoods and districts should be evacuated, and that Israel should work on destabilizing the Islamic regime”, quoting him saying, “if Khamenei reacts to an American strike, it could be the end of the regime”.

One Trump administration official told the Grayzone that “CIA Director John Ratcliffe and US CENTCOM Commander Gen. Michael Kurilla have become vehicles for Israel’s Mossad and military as they seek to manipulate the US into attacking Iran.” adding “During the Trump administration’s meetings with Israeli intelligence officials … Israelis have demonstrated a single-minded focus on regime change, clamoring for authorization to assassinate Iran’s leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei”.

The University of Toronto’s Citizen Lab uncovered that during the bombing, Israeli intelligence ran a propaganda campaign in Persian on social media, “promoting regime change in Iran.”

Former CIA Director John Brennan could not contain his anger as he was confronted by a career intelligence officer who worked at the DNI for a senior advisor for Tulsi Gabbard.

Thomas Speciale, a former senior advisor for Tulsi Gabbard on Thursday confronted John Brennan at a conference and it didn’t go well.

“I don’t know who put you up to this!” Brennan shouted at Speciale during the conference after he confronted him about the fake dossier and the ICA report.

“I don’t know who put you up to this or I don’t know what role you played or who you are but it’s a bunch of bullshit that you just passed off,” Brennan shouted.

After the conference, Thomas Speciale walked up to John Brennan and confronted him directly about his signing the 51 Intelligence Officer Memo knowing full well that Hunter Biden’s laptop was real – and not Russian disinformation.

In 2020, 51 top intel officials — including Brennan — lied about Hunter Biden’s laptop from hell to interfere in the election.

The intel leaders all lied. They knew it was a lie. Joe Biden knew it was a lie. The media knew this was a lie.

The Biden Campaign and then-Secretary of State Tony Blinken organized the massive lie.

Brennan erupted on Thomas Speciale as he confronted him.

A very angry and red-faced Brennan assaulted Speciale and got in his face.

“You misrepresented that!” Brennan said. “We never said it was disinformation. We said it was a Russian influence operation! Which is what they do!”

Brennan continued, “it’s an influence operation! No! You don’t know that!”

After realizing that he probably went too far, Brennan walked away.

Kash Patel looks to block Tulsi Gabbard’s rise as Trump team intel split intensifies

A sharp divide at the top of America’s national security apparatus is bursting into public view as the FBI has told Congress it ‘strongly’ opposed a plan that would hand the nation’s counterintelligence reins to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

The bureau reportedly warned lawmakers against expanding the authority of Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, a letter obtained by the New York Times showed. 

Gabbard’s office would gain sweeping new power under the proposal that was shot down by Congress – highlighting growing unease and division across federal agencies.

Gabbard’s team reportedly planned to promote the changes putting them in another letter. In its note, the FBI challenged claims from Gabbard’s office that the broader intelligence community was unified in backing a plan that would place her office at the forefront of counterintelligence operations.

The letter from the FBI added to the growing evidence of strain reported between Gabbard and leaders at other intelligence agencies, particularly FBI Director Kash Patel.

The FBI letter, though unsigned, was confirmed by administration officials to have Patel’s backing before being sent. It pushes back on several counterintelligence roles that Gabbard would assume, employing phrases such as ‘vigorously disagrees with’ and ‘strong objection.’ 

The letter warns that one of the proposed changes would ’cause serious and long-lasting damage to the US national security.’

In a joint statement to Daily Mail, a spokesperson from Gabbard’s office emphasized that they were working together, saying, ‘The ODNI and the FBI are united in working with Congress to strengthen our nation’s counterintelligence efforts to best protect the safety, security, and freedom of the American people.’

An intelligence community official also tells Daily Mail that the FBI’s letter is a ‘preemptive response’ to an ODNI process document. ‘It was drafted as a part of interagency coordination. Deliberative process documents are not final products. Any time there is a disagreement in opinion across the intelligence community, ODNI denotes the discrepancy in final products and accounts for it in all materials before it reaches Congress or others in the Administration.’

According to officials familiar with the matter, the House proposal would effectively place all counterintelligence operations across the nation’s intelligence agencies under Gabbard’s control.
