The Big Freeze at HHS, CDC, and NIH

Part of the sweep of government in the first days of the Trump administration has been a freeze on communications. The explosion has hit the whole of public health bureaucracies, including HHS, which Trump personally blames in part for the meltdown of his previous term of president in his last year. The pause in operations is designed to figure out exactly what is going on.

It is certainly not the case that Donald Trump wants you to die, contrary to Paul Krugman’s claim. No longer writing at the New York Times, he reserved his rather extreme view for his Substack account.

Recall that Krugman was 100 percent for lockdowns and all the rest including the fake science behind vaccine mandates. While most of the world was in cages, he was proclaiming the dawn of the great reset. With that reversed, he has reverted to form.

How lawfare destroyed liberalism; Democrats abandoned politics for legalism

In Henry VI, Part 2, a character named Dick the Butcher utters one of the more famous lines William Shakespeare wrote: “The first thing we do is, let’s kill all the lawyers.” To return to national power and get things done for the nation, Democrats need to adopt something of the spirit of Dick the Butcher: no, not literal murder of the lawyers who dominate the party — but a departure from the lawfare that has blinded Democrats to what politics is all about.

Perhaps the pace at which President Trump has opened his second term will put them on notice. Trump opened the week with an Office of Budget and Management guidance that would freeze some $3 trillion in federal grants across executive-branch agencies. He also offered federal employees a buyout, in keeping with his plan to downsize the bureaucracy. He used the threat of tariffs to pressure Colombia over deportation flights. He mused about relocating the hundreds of thousands of Palestinians displaced by the war in Gaza.

You may not agree with these moves — I certainly don’t — but on some level, you do have to admire the relentless focus of this new administration. The same can’t be said for its opponents. Tangled in legal arguments, mentalities, and procedures, Democrats have forgotten how to fight. Worse yet, they have forgotten what and whom they are fighting for.

It was that lawyerly frame of mind that compelled Democrats to expend an enormous amount of time and energy over the past decade trying to get Donald Trump through various avenues of lawfare: from the #Russiagate craziness to the first impeachment over his “beautiful” phone call with his Ukrainian counterpart, from Jack Smith’s classified-documents probe to Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s hush-money case. And what do they have to show for it all? The satisfaction of calling Trump a “convicted felon” on cable news, and not much else.

Senators release whistleblower docs showing anti-Trump FBI agent helped launch lawfare case

Two senior Republican lawmakers released protected whistleblower disclosures Thursday revealing how an anti-Trump FBI agent went outside established agency protocols for opening probes to help launch the federal election interference case against the president.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Charles E. Grassley of Iowa and Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations Chairman Ron Johnson of Wisconsin released internal FBI emails and documents that exposed an alleged political scheme by Timothy Thibault, a former FBI assistant Special Agent in Charge.

Mr. Thibault, whom The Washington Times first reported in August 2022 was forced to retire from the FBI after exposing his anti-Trump bias, authored the initial language for what ultimately became special prosecutor Jack Smith’s federal case against Mr. Trump regarding the 2020 presidential election, according to the new whistleblower documents provided by the GOP senators.

Sick Leftists Blame Trump For Plane/Chopper Collision

Following a tragic collision between an American Airlines flight and a military helicopter in DC, from which no survivors have yet been found, sick leftists rushed to blame President Trump.

The apparent accident, involving an American Airlines plane and a Blackhawk helicopter, reportedly a military chopper, occurred near the Reagan National Airport.

Footage of the collision quickly emerged.

The FBI has stated that there are no signs of terrorism being the cause of the collision, but many are questioning why the chopper appeared to just fly into the plane.

CBSA refusing to honour pardon for Jan. 6 fugitive detained in B.C.

The Canada Border Services Agency is refusing to honour U.S. President Donald Trump’s executive order to pardon those involved in the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riot in Washington D.C.

An Indiana man detained in a Surrey, B.C. immigration detention centre may soon be free to return following U.S. President Trump’s executive order to pardon all those involved in storming the Capitol building in Washington in 2021.

Antony Vo, 32, fled to Canada to make an asylum claim to avoid sentencing after being convicted of four non-violent misdemeanours that occurred during the Jan. 6, 2021 riot.

“It has been a long fight for my client but I am happy he has been pardoned in the USA so he will likely drop his claim and return to the USA,” Vo’s U.S. lawyer Damilo Ausni told True North.

The CBSA attempted to intervene in the matter by sending a letter to the Immigration Refugee Board last week prior to Vo’s hearing to state that he was “not on the list of individuals pardoned by the US President.”

Along with specific individuals pardoned by name in the executive order, Trump also granted “a full, complete and unconditional pardon to all other individuals convicted of offenses related to events that occurred at or near the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021.”

Vo’s legal representation in Canada, Robert Tibbo, told the National Post that his client’s counsel in the U.S. all indicate that “yes, 100%, he’s been pardoned.”

Trump Is “Dangerous” & Racist To Keep Men Out Of Women’s Prisons, Professor Says

President Donald Trump’s executive order to keep men who claim to be women out of female prisons is “dangerous” and hints of racism, according to an anthropologist.

Kate Clancy, a professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, analyzed the president’s directive that the federal government define sex on biological terms.

He also said prisons should not house men who claim to be transgender with women. The administration has also frozen people from requesting an “X” gender marker, for “nonbinary,” on their passports.

The order is “stupid” and “dangerous,” Clancy told LGBTQ Nation. Clancy disputed the idea that sex is biologically determinable. However, biology experts have affirmed there are only two sexes and it is not possible to change one’s sex.

“I think Trump, in whatever terrible language is available to him, is trying to control women and control people he perceives to be in the woman category,” Clancy told the news outlet.

“A lot of this is keeping the category of women pure—and also, obviously, about doing immense harm to trans people.”

But she also finds a racial element in the executive order.

She stated:

There’s also a very racial, white supremacist thing going on here with this “defending women.”

It’s a very old idea—it appears in travelogs, early writings of Europeans, as well as in the United States when they started encountering North American indigenous folks, and the way that they thought about enslaved peoples.

There was this belief that in the “lower races,” men and women were less different and that in the “higher races,” there were more differences between women and men.

This was about saying men and women are differentiated, clear, non-overlapping categories because that makes us a more evolved people.

Clancy also said “sex is also socially constructed.”

Another Hoax Blows Up! Fake News Claims Trump Shut Down Medicaid Portals, Locked 72 Million Americans Out of Their Health Insurance – Here’s What Really Happened

Another day, another hoax.

The fake news media on Tuesday claimed President Trump shut down Medicaid portals and ‘locked 72 million Americans out of their health insurance.’

The media claimed Trump’s freeze on federal funding shut down the Medicaid portals.

“Medicaid, Head Start, health centers say they’re locked out of federal funding website,” CBS News claimed.

CBS News reported:

A wide range of organizations and agencies that depend on federal health department funds say they have been locked out of the online system responsible for tracking and depositing their money, in the wake of the White House’s move to freeze funding across the Trump administration.

These include state Medicaid programs which have been unable to log into the Payment Management Services web portal, or PMS, run by the Department of Health and Human Services, which handles billions of dollars of payments every year.

The website currently warns that due “to Executive Orders regarding potentially unallowable grant payments, PMS is taking additional measures to process payments. Reviews of applicable programs and payments will result in delays and/or rejections of payments.”

“Trump Medicaid freeze seems to lock 72 million Americans out of their health insurance,” QZ.com reported.

“Illinois, Other States Lose Access to Medicaid Portal Amid Funding Freeze,” WTTW reported.

President Trump did not shut down Medicaid portals.

The Medicaid website portal had a temporary outage, according to White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt.

“The White House is aware of the Medicaid website portal outage,” Karoline Leavitt said.

“We have confirmed no payments have been affected — they are still being processed and sent,” she said.

“We expect the portal will be back online shortly,” Leavitt added.

LEAKED AUDIO: Tucson High School Teacher Defies Trump’s Executive Order, Misleads Students by Teaching There Are More Than Two Genders

Leaked Audio: Les Beard, a Tucson high school physics teacher defied Trump’s executive order and misled his students by teaching there are more than two genders.

Why is a physics teacher talking to his students about biology?

Per Trump’s executive order on two genders:

It is the policy of the United States to recognize two sexes, male and female.  These sexes are not changeable and are grounded in fundamental and incontrovertible reality.  Under my direction, the Executive Branch will enforce all sex-protective laws to promote this reality, and the following definitions shall govern all Executive interpretation of and application of Federal law and administration policy:

(a)  “Sex” shall refer to an individual’s immutable biological classification as either male or female.  “Sex” is not a synonym for and does not include the concept of “gender identity.”

(b)  “Women” or “woman” and “girls” or “girl” shall mean adult and juvenile human females, respectively.

(c)  “Men” or “man” and “boys” or “boy” shall mean adult and juvenile human males, respectively.

(d)  “Female” means a person belonging, at conception, to the sex that produces the large reproductive cell.

(e)  “Male” means a person belonging, at conception, to the sex that produces the small reproductive cell.

(f)  “Gender ideology” replaces the biological category of sex with an ever-shifting concept of self-assessed gender identity, permitting the false claim that males can identify as and thus become women and vice versa, and requiring all institutions of society to regard this false claim as true.  Gender ideology includes the idea that there is a vast spectrum of genders that are disconnected from one’s sex.  Gender ideology is internally inconsistent, in that it diminishes sex as an identifiable or useful category but nevertheless maintains that it is possible for a person to be born in the wrong sexed body.

(g)  “Gender identity” reflects a fully internal and subjective sense of self, disconnected from biological reality and sex and existing on an infinite continuum, that does not provide a meaningful basis for identification and cannot be recognized as a replacement for sex.

Les Beard mocked Trump during one of his lectures.

LOL: CNN Lady Can’t Cope With Trump’s Popularity Skyrocketing

CNN analyst Harry Enten detailed how President Trump’s popularity among Americans is skyrocketing as he continues to get things done and bring America back from the brink, but his CNN colleague couldn’t cope with it.

Enten pointed to a Reuters Ipsos poll that found Trump has a higher approval rating than ever.

“This is a very different Donald Trump,” Enten noted, adding “He’s leading a very different administration in the way he’s attacking things, and the American public is very much more in line with him than they were at any point during his entire first term.”

Anchor Kate Bolduan refused to accept the reality, whinging “One, I would say correction, this is not a very different Donald Trump,” she blathered.

Looking visibly angered, she whined in a high pitched shriek “I have a really hard time believing this,” as Enten explained that Trump is the only President in history to have a higher approval rating in his second term than in his first.
