The Mogul and the Monster: Inside Jeffrey Epstein’s Decades-Long Relationship With His Biggest Client

In the fall of 1982, a money manager named Harold Levin got a phone call that would change his life. A lawyer representing Leslie H. Wexner, the founder and CEO of the women’s apparel retailer The Limited, said Wexner was looking for a financial adviser. Would Levin be interested? Levin most certainly was. In Columbus, Ohio, where Levin lived, Wexner was a legend. Wexner grew The Limited from a single Columbus store into a global retail empire that included mall fixtures Abercrombie & Fitch, Victoria’s Secret, and Bath & Body Works.

Levin landed the job after six months of grueling interviews. He wasn’t making Masters of the Universe money—Wexner paid a salary of $250,000 a year—but it was enough for Levin to move his family into a 6,000-square-foot house across the street from Wexner in Bexley, Columbus’s most exclusive suburb. By 1986, Wexner ranked sixth on the Forbes 400 list of richest Americans, with a net worth estimated at $1.4 billion. “In New York, I had bankers constantly taking me out to dinner,” Levin told me. Once, a banker arranged a private tour of Le Bernardin. “The kitchen was so clean, you could eat off the floor,” Levin remembered. Wexner entrusted Levin with increasingly ambitious projects. Starting in the mid-1980s, Levin purchased thousands of acres of farmland in New Albany (population 414) on the outskirts of Columbus, where Wexner planned to build his very own town modeled on an 18th-century Georgian village. “Les sent me to Richmond, Virginia, to look at architecture he wanted to copy,” Levin said.

BLM activist steps down from school board after allegations he molested up to 62 children

Denver School Board director-at-large Tay Anderson, a fervent Black Lives Matter activist, is accused of molesting over 60 undocumented students, using the residency status of the children to target kids as young as 14-years-old.

A parent delivered legislative testimony last Tuesday, claiming there is an unidentified sexual predator within the school system who has targeted students.

Brooks Fleming told the committee that 62 individuals had sought help handling the unnamed perpetrator. The abusive experiences ranged from unwanted touching to “violent acts of rape,” the woman said. 61 of the victims lacked documentation or were recipients of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program with the youngest child just 14-years-old, Brooks Fleming stated.

During Sex Assault Investigation, Police Chief Caught Running Child Porn Ring on Facebook

The city of East Helena is currently looking to fill the position of police chief within their department as their current chief is no longer employed. He quit in March amid a sex assault scandal and has just been arrested for distributing child sexual exploitation material on social media.

On March 2, Police Chief William Harrington submitted his resignation letter to the city of East Helena after he was accused of sexual assault. According to public records, on February 1st, someone filed a complaint with the Lewis & Clark County Sheriff’s Office, claiming that Harrington had sexually assaulted them. A criminal investigation by the Montana Department of Justice’s Division of Criminal Investigation was launched in March and is currently still underway.

Fast forward to this month and the chief’s case is looking grim as he now faces new charges of receiving and distributing child pornography on Facebook.

According to the criminal complaint, Harrington was under investigation for child porn before the sex assault investigation. The complaint states that in September 2020, a law enforcement officer began investigating a Cybertip to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children’s CyberTipline, a national centralized reporting system for the online exploitation of children.

CNN acknowledges Chris Cuomo joined his brother’s strategy calls on sexual harassment accusations

CNN acknowledged Thursday that anchor Chris Cuomo joined strategy sessions with his brother, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, in the wake of sexual harassment accusations against him, through a statement to the Washington Post.

Why it matters: Although CNN said Cuomo has not been involved in the outlet’s coverage of the allegations, the calls detailed by the Post show that the anchor advised his brother’s staff on how to respond to the accusations — which “cuts against the widely accepted norm in journalism that those reporting the news should not be involved in politics,” the Post writes.

What they’re saying: “Chris has not been involved in CNN’s extensive coverage of the allegations against Governor Cuomo — on air or behind the scenes,” the network’s statement to WashPost reads. “In part because, as he has said on his show, he could never be objective. But also because he often serves as a sounding board for his brother.”

Police Chief Demanded to Rape Cop’s Wife, 12yo Daughter in Exchange Promotion—NOT FIRED

As the Free Thought Project reports on a regular basis, police officers across the country are constantly being caught in the most insidious and horrifying situations. Many of these situations involve sexual misconduct and many of those involve children. In the following instance, however, this situation involves an officer who allegedly wanted to sexually violate both an adult and a child at the same time and he used his position as chief to attempt to get there.

Vineland Police Chief Rudy Beu is in charge of over 150 cops within the department. One of these cops, who has been with the department for more than a decade reported Beu for sexual harassment in 2017. This is not your typical, “sleep with me to get promoted,” harassment, however. This harassment involved the officer’s wife and underage daughter.

Dept. Covered For and Protected Police Union President as He Raped Kids for Decades

On Tuesday, documents were released detailing the abuse and cover-up of said abuse carried out by Patrick M. Rose Sr., the former president of the Boston Police Patrolmen’s Association and Boston PD detective. Rose has been charged with molesting children, and the documents prove the department knew, and allowed him to continue to serve in their ranks and even engage with children.

The documents are redacted copies of internal affairs investigations into Rose. Boston Mayor Kim Janey’s office said the information was to be released to shed light on the baffling case of how Boston’s top cop was allowed to go on abusing children for decades.

“It is appalling that there was a documented history of alleged child sexual abuse, yet this individual was able to serve out his career as an officer and eventually become the head of the patrolmen’s union for several years,” she said. “Under no circumstance will crimes of this nature be tolerated under my administration, and we will not turn a blind eye to injustices as they arise.”

The evidence surfaced in 1995 when the Boston police department filed a criminal complaint against Rose for sexual assault on a 12-year-old boy. Despite the evidence, Rose managed to get the case against him dropped. An internal affairs investigation would later conclude that Rose indeed committed the crime, however, he kept his badge and remained a cop for the next years — continuing to abuse children over the course of the following two decades.

As MassLive reports, even after Boston Police Department investigators informed then-Commissioner Paul F. Evans in 1996 that there was credible evidence supporting allegations that one of the department’s officers had sexually assaulted a child, that officer was allowed to keep his job, according to the documents.

Unsealed Records detail FBI/DOJ Jeffrey Epstein/Ghislaine Maxwell cover-up

They always knew.

Today, the DOJ published records unsealed by court order in the Ghislaine Maxwell case. These included a motion and numerous exhibits detailing what the FBI/DOJ – and in particular, the Southern District of New York – knew about the criminal activities of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell back in 2016.

Recall that Epstein was given a sweetheart deal back in 2007. Notes from a meeting in 2016 – read the document here – reveal that a “US Attorney has said [Epstein] could be prosecuted elsewhere.” They failed to act for years, however.

NM Dem gov’s campaign pays at least $62K in settlement to ex-staffer who says she grabbed his crotch: report

The Albuquerque Journal reported Monday that documents show Lujan Grisham’s campaign has made four payments of $12,500 “as part of a settlement” with former campaign spokesman James Hallinan, who accused the governor of “pouring a bottle of water on his crotch and then grabbing his crotch through his clothes as she laughed, an incident he said took place in front of other campaign staffers.”

The outlet noted that Hallinan made the claims in late 2019, roughly a year after he left the campaign. The former ex-staffer says he was talked out of reporting the incident by the campaign manager, Dominic Gabello, who now serves as a senior adviser in the governor’s office.

Current campaign spokesman Jared Leopold told the newspaper that Gov. Lujan Grisham, Gabello, and the campaign organization itself “strenuously deny that there is any merit or truth to Mr. Hallinan’s claims, including his claims about difficulty finding or keeping work after the campaign.”
